I booked on your website what looked totally like a direct flight from Toronto to Malpensa (4BGK2P - AC894 & AC895 - 14th May out bound, 22nd May inbound).

There was no hint on booking this flight had a connection via Montreal.

When we landed (surprising to me) in Montreal we were told to get off the plane and then get back on. Some flight crew did now know if we were getting back on the same place or another. On getting off the place it became apparent we had to go to a different gate but nobody knew where. After 10 mins of walking around I found a pilot who helped me. I was sure with this confusion my bag would not make it.

In Milan I was right, my bag arrived 24 hours late in Milan, I had to get a hotel to wait for my bag, I was going to a remote part of Italy and could not wait for…

I was flying on 3 April 2023 from YQM to YUL asking for assistance when arriving in MTL. There was absolutely no one there to assist me on arrival and I barely made it to my connecting flight to VIE. I had to try to run with my cane inhand.

I am a Senior with a recent hip replacement who also paid for Premium Economy from YQM to YUL. Now on my return everyone wanted to assist me where I had ample time to take my time for my connection flight.

I find this totally unacceptable when a customer requests assistance and no one shows up to great you. You should not be offering this service if you can't come good on it.

Consistently the WORST airline for waiting time to speak to an agent (average time is 45-90 mins); no access to email; website is malfunctioning and I am unable to upload documents to change my maiden name to my married name which will cause problems booking tickets in the (married) name in my passport!

Hi there, I’m a loyal customer of Air Canada before. I always felt that Air Canada is a trustworthy airline with a good service.

But what I just experienced really throw me off. I’m really frustrated about the service and what had happened to my trip. I’ve two complains.

My husband booked my ticket round-trip tickets on March 9, 2023, from Vancouver to La and back from Santiago to Vancouver. Both are direct flight and he paid for the seats and even for the large age on the way back, although I don’t have a checked in baggage. On the first flight to La, I checked in on line, accidentally hit seat selection, I knew he has bought seat for me so I didn’t pay. Reverse complaint: awesome, thoughtful service with a smile! That builds loyalty. I was stranded in Kelowna with the highway closed between Revy and Golden. I got one of the last flights going from Kelowna-Vancouver-Calgary. The three attendants for AC Flight 8392 from Kelowna to Calgary on April 30 boarding 16:35 worked hard to get me the last seat back on the direct flight instead of having me connect through Vancouver.

Made me feel good seeing someone going above and beyond when they didn’t have to. Good people make a difference.

We booked a trip years back, before we left I wanted more leg room so I called an Air Canada customer service rep and booked and paid for the seats, this was for the flight home, upon checking in for the flight the customer service rep said that we do not see any reserved seats and that the two systems do not talk to each other?

I have been trying to get a refund since our return on April 9th, I have file a case which tells me this could take 45 day to be resolved, how is it they have my money and its going to take 45 days? I resubmitted again and a rep from Air Canada reviewed my complaint and they stated not to start another file as this may cause issues?

When will this be resolved? Or will it?

Hi, was on flight 117 to Vancouver yesterday, witnessed flight attendant refilling peoples personal water bottles and one attendant put the edge of the lip of the water filler container directly in contact with the lip of the passengers water bottle after they had made contact with their mouths in the bottle , filled their bottle and went on to give water to other passengers in proper disposable cups after that.

This is grose and discusting as far as germs are concerned and if kept up will forsure make people sick. This goes against basic knowledge of food handling practices and needs to stop immediately.

Furthermore forget about filling personal bottles this is why you have disposable cups

I bought a bussines class ticket returning from smf via yvr to yyc. I was on flight fron yvr to yyc acflight 224. I was on seat 1d. My entertainment/TV screen was not working. I paid for the service which I didn't receive.

On our recent trip with air Canada we were not happy with way were treated . 00 to stay in Montreal that night. We will look at things different on our next trip. Every flight was delayed taking off or landing.

I guess that is why people have to leave one or two days early.

Air canada cancelld my Vancouver flight during covid April 2020. They only issued promised future travel, not refunds. Then they created a policy of rebooting only with a time limit of 1 year. I called in frequently to ensure the credit for future booking was still good repeatedly over 2 years.

They unofficially extended it, but determined my rebooking in summer 2022 was ineligible and stated the tickets are now expired WITH NO REFUND. Air canada took a goverment bail out its the promise of making good with all affected passengers. They owe my $1310.

They are a shameful company.

I AM NOT ABLE TO WALK for long even with the walker, was wheel chair bound business class passenger, travelling from Delhi, India to Ottawa on April 5th, 2023 via Montreal. On April 5th, my Flight from Montreal to Ottawa was cancelled and I was taken to the domestic Maple Leaf lounge and at around 7;30 in the morning.

My bags were delayed 3 days. When arrived I was missing items. Then I filed a complaint. No one wrote me back until I called a few weeks later. Then someone returned my call a few days after that. And wanted that much info it would take me a few days to gather so I asked the person only thing I never had was a recept.

And didn’t want to go through all the other stuff if they were just going to tell me no. and they wouldn’t talk to me anymore. I was waiting on them a month. Very very shitty service.

I travelled to Barranquilla, Colombia with Air Canada on February 25th, planning to return on March 18th, 2023. Before my return date, I received an email from Air Canada informing me that my departure date had been changed to the day before, that is, I was now to return on the 17th instead of the 18th.

The routing of my return trip was also changed, making my return trip much longer. I was originally to travel from Barranquilla via Bogota via Toronto to Calgary (my final destination). Instead, the new route was via Montreal with a 5 hour stopover in Montreal.

I have had terrible issues with Air Canada. I just created my aeroplan account 2 weeks ago so that I could claim my miles. Guess what. AirCanada has locked my account. I called them 10 days ago and they asked me to send a copy of my ID to the email address aeroplancompliance.

I did but still no response. I called again today and was told it still has not gone through. Even today, they did nothing. They instead asked me for the exact transaction date of my account. Who remembers specifically what exact date of their last transaction?

On our way back from vacation to Canada, there were so many issues once we got back to Canada. Landing in Toronto we missed our connecting flight due to mechanical issues with the plane leaving Costa Rica. Air Canada staff once in Toronto forced our group to split.

We spent 5 hours at the Toronto Pearson airport before we were told that we had to take a flight to Montreal. Then again, more issues. Our flight from Toronto to Montreal was delayed about 3 times before they decided to cancel the flight to its entirety due to mechanical issues.

Mechanical issues are within full control of Air Canada as they are preventative measures that should be taken well before a flight is to take off. We finally did get a flight booked to Montreal.

It is about experience after cancellation of AC8980 on Mar 4 2023 due to bad weather. Here is the list of my points. 1. It is good to receive cancellation notification 12 hr before the flight taking off 2. It is not good no more update after the notification even though the notification claimed I would receive revised flight schedule shortly.

Terrible service. If i could give a 0 star i would! Flight delayed more than 3 hours. Missed connection. Waited 2 hours for luggages for nothing. Apparently we are being sent to the hotel with no luggage. With a new flight of 14 hours later although it flies to Ottawa every hour or so.

Not enough hotel vouchers for all of us. Still waiting for a shuttle 50 minutes later.

On March 12th; New York: 3S7 HRK AC8883 flight 18:40 got delay because of snow in Toronto. We ran in Toronto for 22:10 AC129 at D36 and midle age lady, representative AC confirmed my husband we are on the board.

When it came to boarding at 22:40 we were told by the same lady that the luggages are off the plane and we have to go to customer service far (close to D22).

However, we were running, there were plenty people. I ran to the clerk and he tried, but the gate was already close. We were rescheduled to the flight for next day, March 13th at 9:00am. When we arrived to Vancouver, our 2 suitcases were sitting at the baggage area unattendend. from the flight earlier.

Air Canada cancelled our connecting flight in Toronto before we landed because our flight from Liberia was late. As it turned out our connecting flight was late as well so we could have made the connection. We had to wait overnight at the airport for more than 10 hours before we could fly to Ottawa.

Clearly the airline’s goal is to make money and is not concerned about their passengers! We should have been given the chance but our seats were sold to someone else. As it turned out my husband got Covid and is still very I’ll.

The practices employed by this airline are truly DISPICABLE. People are cheated and prices are elevated based on search results When I called in to book my medical seating immediately after booking was told i was confirmed on 12 D Upon checkout was told I had to pay and could not check in and receive my boarding pass I was lied to and misled when I booked the seat, when I called medical desk was told there was no manager to help me really? Is this a mickey mouse operation no manager to help or assist? Four month ago, I booked on Air Canada from Dubai to Toronto to Vancouver (March 1, 2023) (I stayed for 3 days in Vancouver to attend a conference). My booked next flight was from Vancouver to Ottawa (March 4) (I stayed for six days in Ottawa.

My return flight to Dubai was booked on March 10 from Ottawa to Toronto. On Tuesday Feb,. 28 at 9:00 am, I received an email from Air Canada informing me of the cancellation of the Dubai-Toronto flight due to severe weather.

One hour later, they came back to me with a new booking on Turkish Airlines from Dubai to Istanbul to Seattle. From Seattle, I was booked on an AC flight to Vancouver (6:50-7:50 pm). I accepted the Turkish Airlines booking and took the flight from Dubai to Istanbul which arrived on time.

I purchased a ticket and didn’t realize that the US still required a vaccination pass.So I tried to get my ticket transferred to my brother and they said it wasn’t transferable because I didn’t buy insurance.So I am just supposed to accept a loss of $441.That is a lot of money and especially for me.You would think a company that gets millions of tax dollars would be accommodating in so way but no.They just tell me I should have paid more for my ticket to get insurance.Zero rating for customer service from Air Canada isn’t acceptable business.

Booked to travel Boston - Toronto on November 1st 2022 early in the morning at 6:05am for an important meeting in the morning of Nov 1 at my HQ at Sunlife. Got a message that flight was cancelled late night on Oct 31st and that effort will be made to reschedule. I couldn't wait endlessly and I waited until 1am and made an alternate arrangement. Provided them with free snacks several of them and offered drinks that they declined and offered free sandwiches that was not available to us in row 16

My husband Ramon Rodriguez and Son Asked if there was snacks other than on menu and they said no yet the young men behind us was given several free snacks because they knew Terry. After all, customers should be treated equally.

Then I asked for decaf coffee and water. They did not have decaf so I settled for caffeinated but I did not receive water. Then they sat in the back and rarely seen.

On February 12, 2023 I did ticketing for boarding Pass on Harry Reid International Airport T3 of Las Vegas. I never experienced Air Canada before even though I am a frequent traveller with various Airlines. As the first time Air Canada traveler, I was nervous and too much worry for short transfer time.

To my ticketing and checking- in my luggage, I walked to cabin as soon as open. When I put my first luggage on weight, the person who did ticketing said my luggage is overweight so I have to do pay $100.

I have been an Aeroplan member for over 30 years and never had such a poor time trying to book a flight.

First I have not able to log into my account 125062679 for several days and when asking to reset my password it would not send me an email to do so which left me stuck. I have now spent over 3 hours trying to use your online help to no avail and I have tried calling several times over the past 3 days to either get a login reset or to book a flight resulting in excess of now 5 hours on hold or being told you were too busy to answer my call.

I am exceedingly upset by this the net result of which is likely that when and if I do persist in booking with Aeroplan, the flights/rates now available will be gone. This is unacceptable and my loyalty to Air Canada is wearing very thin.

1st we were told 3 days before flight that there was a mechanical issue with our plane. How in the world do you know there will be a mechanical issue 3 days before departure? Someone at air Canada is lying.

Delay after delay has caused us almost 600 dollars in additional expenses that you say is caused by weather so you dont need to reimburse. Someone in your office is lying to the customer and the FAA. I teach my 15 year old not to lie. What's your excuse?

This is a follow up of my previous complaint last Thursday. I need an explanation why my flight was busted. Pls. refer to Airline Reservation Code No. 33D7IN (AC)(NH) AC0009 Toronto to Narita Feb 5 2023. 1:30 PM . 39C.

These tickets were booked since July 2022, together with my daughter and cousin who were able to board, but when it was my time, to board, my passpost cannot go through your system and according to your staff my flight was busted. Why?

Please give me an explanation before I consult with CTA and go further with a case.

absolutely abysmal airline, hope it goes under and gets cut out of the market. horrible customer service, average flights at best, and I don’t think they have ever had a flight leave on time in the history of the company, otherwise it is just cancelled altogether. Avoid at all costs

We arrived at our destination to find our bag was not at the terminal.

We get up at 5am to be at airport for 8am flight. There is a reason why we take an early flight so we can be at work! We would like to have our bags on the flight with us! Awful service and to add to that update your planes already. They are ancient.
