Our plane was delayed and on the tarmac for three hours, with very little information given. When they forced us off the plane an agent by the name of Rashany (I was at LaGuardia) yelled at us gave us sheets and disappeared.

The line for rebooking was EXTREMELY slow. I stood in line for two hours before this agent, Rashany, all of a sudden cancels booking and starts yelling at people who try to get answers. She then lies and says the next shift starts at 3am, when in fact they start at 5.

In addition I called customer service twice. The first time the woman lied to me and told me the booking agents can give me a refund and then a second one refused to give me his name and hung up on me when I tried to get clarification.

Any help on how to hold these poor workers accountable would be…

I had the worst experience ever! Not only was I shifted from gate to gate to get my flight but the man at the final gate was extremely rude. I asked him if I needed to check in or anything since the gate had been changed several times and he yelled at me and told me to go sit down. Very bad customer service!

Those employees are there to represent your company. He said the flight was over booked by 5 people and they needed volunteers to make other arrangements or they were going to randomly pick people to stay behind. He called my name and told me to sit while everyone else boarded and if there was room they would give me a seat.

I was at DFW gate 27a where my flight was scheduled to leave from. Right before my boarding time I realized as I was getting a coffee, the gate changed at Dfw I had to run from this gate to 35b which was far I arrived at this gate at4:14 where the associate told me their policy is to close the gate at 15 mins before the departure time.

I have never experienced this, there were other passangers there and the gate attendant says very rudely your late because you got coffee, No asshole I was late because I had a last minute gate change. They just dont care.

The plane was litteraly sitting at the gate for another 15 mins and I watched as it left because an asshole had a power trip......

I went to see my aunt. I had a connecting flight Charlotte to come home to Fort Lauderdale. I was in a wheelchair I was supposed to have assistance. I had one hour to get to my connecting flight. No one assisted me to get to my flight.

I felt like a piece of meat sitting there at 1. Person tried to help me a stranger came to me and said are you OK? I think you're employees are racist. I'm sitting there. I'm waiting and they're all working and they're black.

I am writing to request compensation for the delayed departure of my American Airlines flight AA2576 ( Record locator: CGJCKA) from Cozumel to Dallas on April 11, 2023.

The flight was scheduled to depart at 2:08 pm but was delayed due to 3 technical failures by 20 hours. The passengers were keeping in the plane totall over 6 hours. This delay caused me significant inconvenience and stress, as I had to rearrange my travel plans, missed a working day, and incur additional expenses.

Hello, I’d like to start of by saying I used to fly AA quite often. I have always enjoyed the service AA provides, although recently it appears every time I fly AA, something always seems to go wrong. I am a federal law enforcement officer with CBP assigned to the southern border and often fly home to see my wife, small children and family.

On March 1st, my wife reserved a flight (AA4970) out of Laredo, TX scheduled for a 06:00 departure with service through DFW with a destination to MIA. I arrived at 04:45 for my flight only to learn from the ticket counter that “they had no plane” and I could not be given a delayed departure time, only that the flight would be delayed until 10:00am or so.

Booked a flight out of Dallas to Reno was purchased for an ADVERTISED flight on 4/27 leaving at 6:50 pm and arriving at 8:11 pm return flight was booked for 5/1 leaving at 12:30 pm and arriving at 5:50 pm AA changed it not once but TWICE resulting in a total time delay of 4 Hours and 18 min (3hr 35 min one way just short of 4 hr threshold) causing a significant delay in our travel arrangements in regards to the event intended to attend, work, and

Martin to Phily on 3/11/23. Martin 3 late for undisclosed reasons then when we got in the air the lies started. ), so they would have to land in Miami where we would have to go through customs. They gave us no info how the whole customs thing would work but they said there would be an agent on the ground to help us out.

Never saw the agent but we found our way through the confusion. We had to pick up our luggage recheck it then go back to the plane to wait to board. We finally make it to Phily 6 1/2 hours late.

Horrible Arline. I have a flight credit of over $700 that I am trying to use before it expires in June. I cannot find a way to book my flight using either their website or mobile app. They throw up a roadblock or excuse because my other passenger is not an AA Advantage member.

Flight landed on time at LAX, WAITED 35 minutes for gate to clear. Had to find and take a bus from terminal 1 gate 153 to terminal 4 gate 52I. The gate agent was walking up jetway. I signaled her to hold on, she refused and said the flight was closed.

I looked at the screen above her and it did not say the flight was closed. When I pointed this out, she put her hand up to stop me from talking and closed the flight in the computer, she then smugly pointed to the screen and it now said closed.

I was assisting my sister and two small nephews (age 1 and 5) to check in for their return flight home from Savannah, GA on today's date. We arrived an hour and a half early to the flight and the customer service workers at the check in desk were extremely unprofessional and consistently yelled at my family and every other customer in line due to the airline workers opening the check in desk late.

Due to this my sister and nephews along with 15 other passengers missed their 06:50am flight to Charlotte. I am a disabled veteran and my sister is a military spouse and I have never been spoken to or treated so poorly by the American airlines employees since I have been using this airline for the past 10 years.

When we get to our seats ( 3 seat row) window seat was occupied by extremely over weight passenger, both my boyfriend & I had to sit on an angle and were unable to even buckle our seat belt the entire flight. Our legs were cramped and our backs sore from having our body in an uncompromising position.

When paying passengers have to comprise their safety and comfort due to this type of seating dilemma is totally unacceptable.

I was made to check my carry-on at Washington airport. I was told it would be at my destination. I asked the woman twice as this made me nervous. She assured me it would be at Punta Cana, when we arrived at Punta Cana airport my carry-on was not there.

We were told by baggage claim that it was in Honduras and would be delivered to me soon.

However, once i got to our resort i received a call from a gentleman stating that my luggage was delivered to his door in the Bahamas. I have epilepsy and had a seizure because I did not have my meds as they were in my carry on.

My husband spent over 8 hours on the phone with baggage claim trying to get my carry-on. We still do not have my carry-on back and are now home from our vacation. This ruined our 25th anniversary get away. I surly hope you can…

I am a quadriplegic I recently flew for the first time December 31st to Medellin Colombia. I will be traveling three more times this year for medical treatment to Medellin and will be needing wheelchair assistance. I was dropped to the ground being transferred from one of the aisle chairs.

It was a very uncomfortable embarrassing and scary situation for me and my mother who was traveling with me. Once my manual chair was brought to me the whole arm of my manual chair was broken off during the flight.

Deceitful airline! BEWARE!! Very deceitful, American Airlines has been overbooking, double-booking their seats cause over 30,000 cancellations without refunds in the month of November and December alone, per their employees. S. Department of Transportation, and Federal Aviation Administration, and FTC.

This is soooo shameful and evil! Cheating their customers on a regular basis. I booked one set of round-trip tickets with 4 cancellations and re-bookings with no fault of my own or explanation but what was clear is that you kept re-selling our seats with us at the airport.

American airlines are purposely re-selling seats that are already purchased. That is stealing and deceptive!!!

In 2021 American Airlines issued me a COVID-related credit for a flight. I have emails from their customer service stating that I have one year to use the credit from the purchase date (October 30, 2021). When I tried to use it in late October 2022 for essentially the same trip as last year, after two-hours-plus on the phone with them I was told I had to book it through Cheap Tickets because I bought it through CT.

When I called CT they said the credit was "suspended" and I had to call AA back. After another 45 minutes on the phone with an AA customer service supervisor she said I had 11 months to use the credit, not 12, even though emails from last year clearly state 12.

When I disputed her she said her hands were tied and I had to email them. I responded to last year's customer service…

Rude flight attendant regarding my disability/ pocket book/ cane/ coat covering my leg regarding my leg gets cold related to injury and me wanting pocket book behind me related to losing everything to motorcycle accident re: home, belongings, personal property and partner. Military member here and spouse is a veteran. We bought tickets to fly home back in Oct 2020 from Japan but had to cancel because of Covid. We were told by phone that we could get trip credit to use at a later date.

We did inform them that we were moving back to the states under orders, and they said that would be of no issue. Fast forward to present day trying to book domestic flights with the trip credits and now they are saying we HAVE to fly from original destination of Japan.

I bought a two way ticket flight from FXA to GRU ( Brazil) and I had to go back on 8/28/22 I missed the flight and I called AA and I was on HLD for almost one hour when the agent answered we got disconnected I got really upset and decided to call back later to rebook my flight, I forgot it, and when I was able to talk to them they said that I had lost my ticket!!

00 and they dont want to give me a Voucher for me to go back, and it is paid for, my ticket is valid till May 23, 23 just because I couldn’t rebook my flight they cancel it and are making me to buy a new ticket and I fly international every year, I am an old customer, my whole family is and they are refusing to give something that it’s mine!!!

I flew from Toronto to Ecuador with overnight stop In miami. In Toronto at the gate the flight crew asked for volunteers to put the carry on with the checked baggage. I gave up my bag but when landed it was unavailable in Miami it went straight to Ecuador.

Malfeasance and misfeasance to assist me in recovering a black pouch containing inter alia my passport and other important documents accidentally left on board Flight #583 Mia to MCO on August 1st 2022 that left Mia at 3:41 pm. Upon arriving home in Orlando that night, I realized that my pouch containing my passport was missing.

On August 3rd 2022, my daughter received a call from AA in Portland, Oregon about 11 pm EDST from a caller who identified herself as "Halima" working in baggage lost and found. She accurately described the contents of the pouch.

I offered to pay Fedex COD if she would forward the pouch to me in Orlando. She made it quite clear that AA's policy is to forward all lost property to Dallas and that I should expect to receive it in about five days, by August 8th 2022.…

I was travelling alone with my 23 month old son through this Airline on 24th Auguste from Nepal to Toronto it's been v. long journey. I really had a bad experience at Help Line Desk at MIAMI there is staff (chubby men) called Gian Carlouf he is really unprofessional, rude and so inconsideration he is just in a rush to finish his shift as I am the last passenger for him.

I was traveling from Philadelphia to Portland, Maine on Thursday, August 4, 2022. My flight was delayed 4 times. They finally boarded the plane at 10:30 p.m.. Refused to allow my teen son to board a flight in Charlotte because they felt like he took boarding pass too brusquely. They are very sensitive folks. We were racing across airport to make connecting flight after typical airline-caused delay.

They were already impatient that they had to wait for 30 passengers from Cancun flight bound for Detroit, but they also didn’t want my son to hurry taking the boarding pass. I called AA to resolve an issue about an airline ticket voucher that was about to expire that I had no idea even existed because I should have received a credit back instead of a voucher. This info was told to me when I canceled the flight due to my father having a stroke.

When I called AA to resolve this info I spoke with supervisor Sylvia Smith from Raleigh NC. She was awful and the absolute worst customer service supervisor I have ever in my life dealt with. 5 hours early, I’ve never seen this level of absolute chaos. When it was finally my turn, 3 hours later (9:15 am), I was informed no seats were available to make it to Belize that day. Lucky I had the foresight to check backup flights while stalled in the long waiting line.

My complaint is how rude the employee at gate e35b was to me when asking a basic customer service question. I paid to fly and I feel that your employees could treat customers better. All I did was go to the gate and ask her if I needed to check in, or my boarding pass was okay.

She was so rude, I'd never give my money or business to her. I work in customer public service with the same struggles your employees have with the public. We could never be rude like that to our clients. I will not fly american again.

I am an Advantage member and I also carry an Advantage Aviator Mastercard. According to the benefits of the Mastercard, I am supposed to get my first checked bag free of charge and anyone else on my itinerary receives the same.

On a recent trip, I was denied this perk at baggage checkin and my companions also had to pay. I called the AA Advantage telephone number around 10:30 this morning and agreed to the option of having them call me back.

After approximately 2 hours, I received my callback and then sat on hold for another 45 minutes during which time my phone battery died. So I called back and have now been on hold for 46 minutes, even though the first message said my wait time was 12 minutes, and then a second message said 14 minutes.

I just sat in my seat and the flight attendant starting yelling at me to put my bag under the seat. Still at the gate. 5 mins later we still arnt moving then she comes to me and says " ive reported you for inappropriate behavior" lol ok really... wtf.

So upset , this lady is threatening to kick me off the plane because i didnt jump fast enough for her. Not right. Im asking her name now... cause we still arnt moving....

I am complaining about Advantage Miles Department. I have been a member for almost 25 years. I used some miles for a hotel stay booked through Advantage website. I experienced a bad weekend with many complaints. I asked for either a refund of my miles or adjustment.

I detailed everything to them. I was told it was not American fault and I should contact the hotel directly. This is unacceptable to me. Why should I do that? I relied on American Airlines list of "acceptable hotels" and booked in good faith using my earned miles.

American Airlines cannot walk away from this issue. You have the leverage and need to use it promptly and shift the blame to the hotel. Frequent Flyer miles are no different than credit cards The responsibility rest with you. Thank you in advance for your anticipated…

AA is terrible!!!!! They caused us to miss our international flight this morning due to their incompetence and lack of employees. Their kiosks didn’t work and the ONE person working was super slow and rude. WE WILL NEVER FLY AA AGAIN!!!!!

They cost us $$$ and we are fuming mad about it!!!!

My flight was terrible coming from Alaska to Chicago on 8/8/21 the people who boarded me was heartless and wouldn’t even help me and the flight attendants was so rude I tried to call for help and they wouldn’t even come I was on the verge of passing out! I NEVER will fly American Airlines again this was the worst experience I’ve ever encountered!

They need to hire people with compassion because there was none with this crew! The 1 star was for the captain for getting us there safely the rest of the crew can jump in a lake they were terrible!

If there was an option of minus star rating I would give that to this airline. American Airlines has been the worst airline I have traveled by far. They had the worst customer service. My flight was delayed by 9 hrs, which means I would have missed my connection to my final destination.

After being in line for 2 hrs I got to the counter to find out there is no flight they can put me on that day to get me to my final destination the same day. The only option was to catch the next day's flight.

But that would mean my covid test would have been invalid as it was an international flight. Their staff members (2 of them) suggested taking a rental car to the other airport where my connection was as I still had a few hrs left and take my next flight to my final destination.

My original flights were changed. When I went to change flights to next day there was a 61.00 charge per ticket. We only paid 98.00 for our original ticket.!!i would like a call back.
