I've been an AHS client for years; they raised the service request from $75 to $125, whereas my father is charged $75. I opened a service request for my dishwasher.

A third-party company came and said the heating coil needed to be replaced. The issue was resolved temporarily. Now AHS apologizes, can't do anything about it, and opens another request. What guarantee do I have that this won't happen again?

Now I am stuck in a one-year contract with horrible customer service.

I have been without heat for over a month. Furnace does not work. AHS sent a vendor who couldn't fix teh furnace and recommended a replacement. I still don't have a furnace and my 97 year old grandmother lives with me.

The customer service has been horrific. I need someone to escalate my request. The esclation dept is a joke.

Spoke with a manager whom gave me a credited month but they took a payment out of my account. I have been o. The phone for 40+ minutes requesting and asking to speak with a supervisor. I have repeat verification 4 times and still got to wait.

Filed a service request for washer on June 30th. 46. 46. 46. I have made 7 phone calls and every time they tell me issue is resolved and the next day I get another past due notice. Today I call to place a service call for my AC, 4th time in 3 months, they keep putting a bandaid on it instead of repairing it.

And they tell me I have a past due balance so they can't send anyone out. By the way I've had to pay the service call everytime.

I started a claim 2 weeks ago for a dryer failure. Technician came out and found a back roller had failed and the other was not in good shape. Older dryer that had been in service for years. No issues.

I've had American Home Shield for years and this was my first claim. AHS said they would contact me in 2 days, when they didn't, I called and was told that my claim was denied due to dryer overload. I also found out that the customer service is based in the Philippines.....

I was finally connected with a "escalation" operator after 45minutes of waiting and they said they would send a second technician to verify. That took another 2 days to happen. The second tech said that the back rollers had failed and that was it.

I currently have an open case with AHS. It took nearly 2 months for them attempt to fix my AC . Unfortunately, AC still is not fix and I live in SC. This heat is unbearable and customer service is awful.

I keep being told to call back the next day. I honestly do not have time for this and will more than likely be cancelling my service. This level of service is horrible.

I contacted American Home Shield back in Oct 2022 to send some one out to fix my icemaker. The first vender came out 2 times and needed a 2nd opinion. Amtec services has been out to my beautiful home 5 times and will not state that this freezer can not be repaired.

First of all when you answer the questions to determine the problem you are limited in your selections so I chose something that was close to the issue. When the guys came out they repaired a faucet and left without saying anything, The issue was limited water supply throughout the house.

I called after a couple of days to find out what was going on. I was told my issue wasn’t covered but they could send the contractors back out and if they determined the issue was the same I would have to pay another $125 service fee.

Your company sucks I have had a request in since March of 2023 because my bathtub is broke. Won't hold water shower head plugged up or broke. Sink will not hold water and the toilet bowl continually leaks. I have been waiting to get a bathroom faucet for the past seven months to be replaced. The technician they sent to my home stated I need my faucet to be replaced, but refused to send over a work order.

I have called American Sheild for the past four months trying to get this service expedited in the claims department. I keep getting the same statement. Someone will call me back in 24 hours to 48 hours. They were going to expedite this work order.

My experience with American Home Shield has been horrible! I have escalated this issue on three different occasions with supervisors in customer service promising they would follow up with me within 24 to 48 hours and my matter would be resolved.

To this day I have not received not one follow-up call. That says a lot about American Home Shield and their representation of American Home Shield. No integrity. How can I trust an agency if the people you hire to represent your company refuse to honor their word?

There is a lack of honesty, trust, and lack of accountability. This includes your vendors Piedmont Mechanical specifically. I requested a copy of the invoice that was sent to AHS from Piedmont since Piedmont refused to send me a copy of the diagnoses.

Contractor finally assigned today from a city 3 HOURS AWAY (Des Moines, IIA) when a city twice as big is 6 min away (Omaha, NE). The representative Kenisha 379156, tried to tell me AHS didn't have AC contractors in Omaha which is an obvious and overt lie.

If I could give them -100 stars I would. They make Comcast and T-Mobile look like they have the best customer service. My refrigerator broke. They sent two different vendors out to diganose it. Both diagnosed it the same, neither are able to fix it.

So they tried to send a 3rd vendor. That vendor has no appointments. So they assigned it back to the FIRST vendor, who already said they can't fix it. Then they assigned it to the 3rd vendor again, who STILL has no availability.

A technician was sent to my house with a 1 star rating. He misdiagnosed the issue, said American Home Shield wouldn’t cover any of the repairs and I needed to pay him $1300 to fix the issue. Google reviews shows this company has tons of reviews saying the exact same issue and that this company tried to scam them out of money.

American home shield charged me $100 for a service call to send me a guy that tried to scam me out of money and not fix the issue. I want this $100 service fee refunded but am told this is a legit charge and they refuse to refund the $100.

When asked to speak with a manager I was advised there is no manager to speak with and the answer of no refund was the only answer I would get!

00 for AHS made error on service parts call made 2-27-23. 12 day old baby without refrigerator. Many calls on April 3rd. Rep. Of 3-13-23 with a whole new story changing what he told me. I asked to speak to supervisor rep refused.

Gas furnace wasn’t working so had no heat.

First request submitted to AHS on Feb 24,2023. Airmax tech came & replaced parts. Worked for a few days & quit. This has been ongoing & we were told by airmax not to use heat because wires kept burning up. Suggested a new furnace.

It’s now 3/16/23 & still no heat.!! No help from AHS. Requested a Lennox tech but no response from AHS. On our own got a Lennox tech to diagnose who also said we needed a new furnace since others had worked on the system wiring.

They submitted me a quote as did Airmax.

Finally on 3/16 we got a call back from AHS! We desperately needed heat at this point since below freezing temps the night of 3/16/23. Very very unconcerned AHS reps. Poor customer service!

I lost hot water on 19 February, 2023. Originally, the local gas company was called. They came out, shut off the gas to the hot water heater, heard a leak and told us that our hot water heater was busted.

I go online to American Home Shield to submit a claim. I also contact Progressive Homeowners Insurance. On the 20th, I pay the $125 to AMS to get this sorted. They put me with Summit Plumbing. The plumbers couldn't come until the water closet was dried out, the old water heater removed, and new flooring put in.

I look on the AMS portal and see nothing can move forward until I pay the plumbers $885 for uncovered costs. But that just lists standard water heater. On 2/23 at 0949 I called and spoke with Obed and he said he would send me an invoice.

We bought a platinum warranty on Feb 1,2023. We had been a prior customer. The warranty started on March 3,2023. On March 7,23, we discovered our water heater failed. No hot water. Advance came out said it is pre-existing condition and no warranty to replace water heater. We paid for coverage.

I have had AHS for many years except for two in between. This means a lot of money has been given to them. I expect them to live up to their end of the bargain. They sent a plumber, main line plumbing service, inc.

for a bathroom faucet leak. Tom from main line plumbing said the aerator needed to be replaced, which he told me later he rebuilt. It didn't correct the issue and is still dripping water. I contacted AHS to have Tom come out again.

This was within a one week period, or less. Tom called me back to schedule another appointment. He told me at that point that he rebuilt the aerator. He then said it must be another issue if it's still dripping.

I scheduled an appointment for service to my Dishwasher. The contractor was Diamond Contract. The appointment was scheduled for Mar 6 between 12- 4 pm. , we waited & waited! No phone call regarding the service request until 6:13 pm on 6 March 2023, A Steve from Diamond finally called to say he would be at our house in about 25 minutes.

My husband felt that was too late because he had to be up the next day at 5 am. We were very disappointed no one called us earlier to say they would be late. An entire day wasted!. Diamond had no respect for our time! We cancelled the appointment!

I was sent a plumbing company that did not follow Harford county plumbing codes, was not BBB accredited and had numerous complaints filed for unethical business practice and bad work and overcharging for work not needed to be done. This company is a joke. In November I had a plumbing issue that flooded my basement and they sent out a plumber named "DN Plumbing". He told me I had to suck all the water out of the basement before he could diagnose the problem.

I did that and he came back and told me my crawlspace was too small and that he could not get under my house unless I cut a hole into my structure. AHS refused to send out another plumber, regardless, because they said it is an "access issue".

I called a plumber on my own who sent 3 different employees under my house, identified the problem, and then fixed it. In May I paid for AC tuneup through AHS. Now I’m Feb, my AC is broken and the motor is covered under warranty but the contractor is telling me I have to pay $400 for maintenance first. Maintenance that was supposed to be covered during the AC tuneup in May.

The current contractor says the buildup has not been cleaned ever! So I don’t think I should be responsible for the $400 maintenance when I paid for the tuneup which included the maintenance. It’s clear it was never done.

If I could give this company zero stars I would. This company takes you on the run around for errors they did. You have to call multiple times and the reps say whatever to get you off the phone. If you cancel your account forget getting a refund check. It is always in the mail.

Tell me why a mail from TN takes 8-14 business days to get to GA? I waited that time and found that my address was entered incorrectly, combining my address in PA with my GA address eventhough I verified it on for different calls. I was charged 3 times in 2 days on an account that was supposed to be closed a year prior. Eventhough there is a record for a cancelation.

I HAVE BEEN WITHOUT HEAT IN 30 degree WEATHER AT NIGHT FOR 6 DAYS NOW!!!!!! LaCie Howard is not doing a thing and not treating my case as a priority!!

This company is a joke and someone needs to be sent here THIS MORNING TO FIX THIS!!!!

My washer went out. It needs to be replaced. I’ve been a loyal customer for 4 plus years. I have the warranty and now they don't want to replace it. I was told I have the warranty that if any of my appliances went out or broke they would come out and fix them.

If they can't be fixed then they would replace. My next step is calling the Better Business Bureau. I'm also getting out of this warranty because they just taking your money.
