It takes at least 3 weeks after the initial visit of the contractor to get any appliance repaired. Last year my refrigerator was down 3 weeks before the contractor returned to put the part into my refrigerator to fix it.

That is pretty sad because we had to use an ice chest for all of our food. That is unexceptable. Last month I called in for my cloths dryer, a contractor came out said he didn't know when he would return with the part.

He came a month later. I had to go buy a new dryer, couldn't go to a laundromat with this coronavirus going on. I fee like AHS owes me the price of a new dryer. I called in and all I got was some foreign speaking person that wouldn't let me talk with her supervisor.

I had someone come out and fix an overhead light fixture in June 2019. Soon after the repair was done, we realized that the light would not stay on for more than a few minutes and then turn off. I run two companies and work at a minimum 12-16 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year including Christmas, so this was not on the top of my priority list.

I've been having eye strain, and the light fixture is over my home office, where I do the majority of my work. I placed a service call this morning, and the guy quoted the contract to me saying that it had to be called back within 30 days to avoid another $75 service fee.

I asked to talk to escalations, and the person on the other end did the same thing and quoted the contract to me. Like I said, I have two companies, and if I enforced…

We have been customer since 2003, have been waiting since 3/1/20 to get ac fixed. AHS is dragging their feet getting authorization for part. Blaming AC company. None of this should be my problem but have made 5 calls so far. Totally unacceptable. Extremely unsatisfied customer.

I submitted a service request about my not working refrigerator back in January 17, I requested a rush service since I have a newborn, the technician came over & said he ordered the parts to get it fixed, I was told it shouldn’t take more than January to get it fixed working , well they don’t have the parts and they don’t even have answers as of when they estimated to get it fixed.

it is now March 6th , Teo months after and I still don’t have my refrigerator working, neither the parts & they always refuse to transfer me over to a supervisor. I have called several times and have asked to speak to a supervisor but they always refused to transfer me over.

on monday 3/2 at around 9am I called to customer service to arrange to have my heating unit serviced as it stopped working on sunday 3/2. on speaking with one of the service reps she informed me that my most recent payment,due 3/1, was not processed and therefore she could not place my order.

my monthly payments are charged through my credit card and there should be no reason for my account being past due. my credit card payments are up to date. upon further dialogue she then tells me that there is a problem on your end whereby the payment could not be processed.

I'm not understanding this and it's unacceptable. I then requested to speak to a supervisor who reiterated the same and said that it would take 24-36 hours for the problem on your end to be resolved and she would call me back!…

I called for service on my GE dryer two months ago.

First contractor came out and replaced rollers. This fixed the horrible noise and severe vibrations.

However, clothes still was not drying in the appropriate amount of time.

Second contractor came out and said the dryer vent from attic floor to roof needed cleaning. We had that done and less than 3/4 cup lent was removed. the vent was previously cleaned from dryer to attic floor and the second contractor confirmed it was very clean.

After entire vent being cleaned the dryer control board was not appropriately working showing 1H when the delayed start was not even being used. Called AHS back and they resent the second contractor back to my home. He wanted to argue with me that I had set the delay start.

My glass stove top suffered a chip and a crack running diagonally just below a burner. I have been worried about water in the element and the usability of the element. The repairman came out and looked and it and reported that it was chipped and usable.

He never turned the burner on to see if it worked. AHS left me a voicemail indicating per contract it was cosmetic only. I contacted them twice and said fine, please give me in writing that it was cosmetic only so that if there was an electrical issue my homeowners insurance would handle it.

The only way for them to review the crack is if I paid another service fee to have the workman do what he should have done the first time.

I have never received such run around. I filed complaint on Sundaiy that my water heater was leaking. I waited till Monday and talked with customer service You no provider for my area but did not tell me that. Tuesday I was told they had reached out a provider in Anderson i.

Here it is wednesday and still no service although says they trying to find hot water heater and maybe by tomorrow I might get service. I have been punished because AHS took out policy and had no provider in area. This is not fault.

AJ. Bono Plumbing was sent to my home. Technician said water heater was old needed to be replaced. His Office will send info to American Home Shield to request replacement. After 5days was told waiting on authorization for replacement and for me to call back.

Called AJ Bono Plumbing and they had no idea when part would arrive office will call me next day. Got call from technician next day and he said he already replaced part on his visit to my home that I need a new water heater that AHS had to authorize,and that no part was ordered.

Very upsetting,that both AHS and AJ Bono have me going in circles. Still no service and no ETA.

The door fell off my oven. AHS technician would not repair because they said it was not due to normal wear and tear. To be exact they said the damage was due to excessive force. How do you excessively abuse an oven door?

The oven is 12 years old. The screws were found in the bottom of the oven on the broiler pan. If that is not due to age and normal use than I don't know what is.

Also I requested someone from management call me back and that never happened. They are the worse home appliance repair company ever. They haven't heard the last of this from me.

I have been an american home shield customer for over 14 years and i rarely file a claim but i submitted a claim to have my oven repaired it has been 18 days and my oven still does not work noone has even come to look at and make sure what the problem is all they tell me is that the part that they think is the problem is on order this is unacceptable what am i paying my $57 dollars a month for?

Our hot water heater went out on 1/28, AHS sent out plumber that hit the reset button, tracked mud in house on hardwood floors didn't offer to clean up after themselves and left. The wires in hot water heater burned up no hot water called them back to let them know they said they would dispatch original company back out.

The original company refused to come back out. It is now 2/4 and we still have not hot water as the hot water heater hasn't been fixed yet. They say they can't find a contractor that services our area. The fact remains that they take our money on time without regard to the fact that they are supposed to cover this appliance.

They offered to "allow" us to hire our own contractor within their terms and they will reimburse us in 6-8 weeks. I am so disappointed in this…

I called AHS for a Samsung refrigerator icemaker to repair on 1-9-2020. Contractor universal 1 gave me an appointment for 1-13-2020. Then they had to reschedule because their contractor called in sick. They came out a few days later the contractor spent 3min to tell me he had to order a new icemaker.

I waited a few more days. He installed the icemaker. And informed me that it will take 24hrs. Before it produce ice I just happen to check the water dispenser no water. Contractor said another part need to be order.

The next morning my refrigerator was not working at all. When I call the contractor They inform me that something else was wrong and they have to order another part. now it's not working at all and I been waiting since 1-24-2020.

Why wasn’t there more of the product? Why when amount of stock was limited there wasn’t a restriction on the amount that could be purchased????

Sustainability, environmentally friendly, non use of plastics .....Aldi you need to supply more cloth nappies to help our environment. Why would you only supply such a low amount to the whole of the newcastle area which were sold out within 2 mins of the stores opening ? I would not give 1 star if i didn't have to. the worst customer service. Ashley in Atlanta at their call center is rude. I usually get calls directed to the Philippines. They are not as rude but you can't understand them.

She said after the plumber came out it would be another 24 hours to get this fixed. We have a leaky kitchen sink. So we don't have water to our house for 3 days. They do not care. Ashley is rude and just keeps repeating herself.

We have an open work order to replace our furnace that they have tried to repair 5 different times charging us the deductible each time. We are in the middle of winter with no heat and cant use the exiating furnace due to a carbon monoxide leak.

We have called numerous times and keep getting the run around to find out that the furnace still hasnt been ordered. Absolutely ridiculous. No one in customer service helps or speaks english and the company thst will be installing is getting the run around too.

All i want is heat and our furnace!

On 1/11/2020 I called American Home Shield to have someone take a look at my hot water heater. They created a work order with American Plumbing and charged me a $100 fee. The plumbing company never called me to verify a time.

I called them and did not get my called returned. A day later I called American Home Shield and cancel the order. I was told it would take 3-5 business days for me to get my $100 back. I ask for a email conformation and was told they didn't do that.

I say well give me a conformation number, I was given 542605132. On 1/17/2020 I call again about my refund and was told they had to verify that American Plumbing didn't not come to my home and it would be next Monday which was 1/20/2020 before could verify and I should get my money back after that.

I had registered a service request on 01/06/2020 for Microwave. Technician visited on 01/07 and told me that it can't be repaired and AMS will replace with a new Microwave. My credit card was charged and next day I got an email that my service request has been closed.

I have been calling AMS since 01/07 and hearing that Diagnostic report is not yet received from the GE Technician and it has been escalated.

Finally I was told on 01/17 that the report was received and waiting for internal approval and I will get a call on 01/20 from Purchasing Department. But when I called back again today (01/20), I was told that the diagnostics report is not yet received from Technician.

4 weeks without dryer scale number 0 I've been on the phone for 4 weeks parts sitting on my couch. 3 dys tken off and nothing is done. put in hold hours at a time .. Wrong work order number I'm so sorry a million times.

Our microwave broke. Filed a claim. Sears technician came out and said the magnetron was broken. He said that it was not repairable due to the parts no longer being available. He told that to AHS on the phone while he was still in our kitchen.

AHS said they would have their parts dept look for the part. Our claim has been sitting there for a MONTH. I have called at least 6 times to see where we are in the process. I have been on the phone now for 38 minutes waiting and asking to speak with a supervisor. I have been lied to and lied by K & S Plumbing after paying 2 service fees, and multiple calls that they repaired the upstairs commode/toilet, that pairly flushes, that runs without flushing and overflows.

They have sent a contractor from Alchemist Pools in Las Vegas, three times to fix a pool heater. We we told a variety of things, none of which were accurate. They installed a gasket backwards, leading to more leakage. We asked for a second opinion, which was supplied by Dunk's pools, who were professional and spotted the problem right away, none of which was correct as reported by Alchemist Pools.

Now the pool heater is STILL leaking and AHS wants to send the same moron out to "fix" the problem again. When we called to complain about this contractor and ask for a different one, we were told they were the only ones available to us.

On the morning of 12-15-2019, Sunday, my finance stopped working. I called AHS and was told an approved contractor would call me. After a few hours, I called again and was told AHS could not reach anybody and was given a dispatch # 538949522 to get my own HVAC contractor.

I finally got SOUTHSIDE PLUMBING AND HEATING to come out. Since it was a Sunday there was an extra surcharge. The tech said it was the relay and the generic relay was too large to fit in the space. 00 for the service call.

On November 11, 2019, I requested service on my Hot Water Dispenser which was dispensing only cold water. November 13th two technicians inspected my dispenser and said it needed to be replaced and that I would be contacted by Amazing Plumber Rooter to set up a date and time to replace the dispenser.

Requested service for three ceiling fans one one ticket and submitted another ticket for an oven... The company Smitty’s came out worked on my stove which he was not hired to service and only looked at one ceiling fan. I contacted American Homeshield and Smitty’s asking when will he service my other ceiling fans (December 19 is when this all occurred).

I was charged twice for a service charge. Spoke to several representatives only to be told several times that the refund was not processed correctly to wait for 7 to 10 days. It's almost been a month. When I called to cancel my contract I was told it would take 30 days.

If they were able to take the money out when they wanted to why can't they refund the money within a few days. It seems the representatives are not knowledgeable about their job's. I was put on hold for an hour several times only to be hung up on. This company is rediculous.

Even their contractors are questionable. I have had problems with them also. Never again.

I have cancelled my warranty with American Home Shield because my hot water heater pilot light went out. The technician arrived Dec. 4th replaced the faulty piece (technician stated an improper piece was install on the heater) which caused water to drip down inside the hot water heater and put out the pilot light.

The technician could not light the pilot light because there was water inside at the bottom along with corrosion and there was nothing else he could do, technician suggested the hot water heater be replaced. In the mean time I called the company that had the warranty on my heater which expired 2025 stated the if it was a plumbing connection that caused the problem the company could not acknowledge the warranty.

I have been waiting on the phone for over 45 minutes now, the first person that answered the phone could not be understood at all and insist that faucets are not part of pluming !!!!!!!!!!! I asked for a supervisor multiple times and he keep repeating himself f over and over not making any sense, I could make one word a out of every five that he speaks.

Ahs sent swat plumbing to check my hot water heater and we were told we needed a new one and had to pay for upgrades and parts. 11/26 we were out $1100 to replace hot water heater and since 12/13 it is not working.

The vendor was supposed to come that same day and called and said he could come but he couldn't fix it bc he didn't hv tools so dodnt mk since for him to come. Ahs is not helpful at all... very unsatisfied!

We have been a customer of AHS for approximately 9 years. I will be as brief as possible given the circumstances. In the interest of brevity, please know that all calls to AHS and Contractor where generated by me. No follow up, warning, or updates have biin made by either to me. timeline and events: Mon. 11/11 Requested service to repair Fisher Peikel Washer 11/12 Technician came to inspect. 11/15 called to ask disposition. Advised that technician "forgot to submit diagnosis." 11/19 advised that "parts would take an additional 15 days to arrive." 11/21 Advised that we would be credited the $100 for service call.

(Numerous calls to "Customer Service" (call center) made. Repeating situation with no resolution. Waiting time 20 to 40 minutes.)

I have a washer machine that broke a couple of months ago, I paid for the service to get it checked and the technician came and fixed it that time. A month later, the machine broke again and it was not working appropriately again.

I called AHS again to get it fixed. This was more than a month ago. Another technician came and said the transmission was broken and needed to be replaced. I never had a call back to let me know when they were coming to fix it until a month later I called.

A technician was scheduled to come and replace it last Wednesday but he never showed up. I called me later in the day after I had taken a day off to get this situation fixed but he said he couldn't make it that day and we needed to reschedule again for another day.

I am a teacher and cannot take days off…

We paid for a service call for our air condioner heat pump. 00/ lb for adding the freon after the repair. 80/ lb. So we refused to have the unit fixed. We are retiree's and cannot afford this ridculous ripoff.

The company hires these crooks because they can't get legitimate repair companies to work for there meager payments. So we don't have the heat pump at this time.

My complaint is the amount of calls needed to receive the credit of $100 offered to us to renew contract, which we did. Multiple representatives PROMISED to call back. Never did. One rep says can't do this or that. Found out by next rep yes we can.

Ask for Supervisor or Manager. Speak to a lady ID's as supervisor. 24 hrs later still no callback as promised. I call again now all managers in a meeting. A lie I'm sure. I asked for the corporate phone # and address the foreign lady ignoramus says there is no corporate.

Next call I picked sales so I could get that info. American Home Shield did take care of our replacement, but I'd personally have to clean out the call center a bit and replace all the non- professional employees. Replace the call quality Dept if that even exist.

Like most homeowners, I believe in the protection of my investments. I joined the American Home Sheild Warranty Company in 2019 for the second time.

However, I was hesitant to re-sign up with AHS. I did not have the best experience with AHS prior. 2018, I was only trying to obtain the records of my service history. 00 dollars just for a record of my services to have available for the new homeowner.

I felt like I was being penalized for canceling. The customer service was horrid. I was kept on hold for extremely long wait periods before being constantly being hung up on. The responses were asinine. I did not have to mental capacity to deal with it then.

Have been an AHS customer for many years, and the quality of contractors being utilized continues to deteriorate. Called in a repair yesterday morning for a broken water heater, the contractor never called to set an appointment. When we try and reach the contractor, no one answers and the voice mail is full.

Call AHS back today, and they tell us if we want to change contractors our time cycle starts again. So, we are stuck with the sub-standard original contractor which is probably someone working out of the back of his truck.

instead of calling to ask us what it appears the problem is. AHS has gone from being a very reliable home repair source to a very marginal type service.

Don't do business with these folks!!!! I called about 7 months ago requesting for repairs of the AC for my tenant. I was told they could not get anyone there for several days. I said that was unacceptable as my tenant has young children.

I was told they would authorize for me to get my own contractor, but I would have to pay upfront and they would reimburse me. That should have been my sign to not renew. I called local repairmen and had someone who could get to the house the next day.

I paid and forwarded via email everything to get my reimbursement. Called for months and was initially told the check went to a forwarding address, not true. Called again and emailed new address and had to reconfirm over and again.

Heating and Air conditioner requested service on 5/19/2019. True Air replaced items to meet code and refrigerant, cost me $960 on 6/13/19. True Air had to come back on 6/21/19, refrigerant had leaked out. Invoice on 6//13, pressure tested for leak (not repaired).

6/21/19, Invoice replaced 16 FSH-410A. , unreadable. Service request 12/5, H&A no heat, Total Air, no refrigerant in unit, he did nothing else on 12/6. 12/6, another service request for H&A, True Air came on 12/09, Duct work inspection (True Air does not work on duct work.

Joe, AHS was to send duct work inspection to Dispatch Team to find a contractor, so how was service request sent to True Air company does not repair or replace duct work. True Air said Total Air would have to come back for H&A unit to add refrigerant.

Paid them to come and fix a leaking bathtub faucet. Was told by 2 separate contractors that the service is repairable. American Home Shield is denying the repair due to "modification" when it is a repair. Contract has conflicting lines that entitle me as a contract holder to have this repaired.

They are still refusing service as well as not authorizing a refund for services that will not be conducted. The reports from the plumbers has not been released to me nor are they willing to release them to me.

Called and paid $75.00 for stoppage problem. Watersafe contacted me, arranged to come out Friday, December 6, between 9 and noon. Fine. They did show up - two people, one appeared to be an apprentice. They were at my home for about half an hour, suddenly said they said had to leave for a part, and never came back. I called the office several times, once received a person who said he would call me back, but never did. Two more calls went directly to voicemail. Answered survey that indicated job was completed, which, of course, it was not. Called AHS, and spoke with a woman who was difficult to hear. She finally found file and indicated there would be a $400 plus charge, and when I said No, no, no - she hung up on me.

In Feb 2019, I requested an electrical repair of my ceiling fan. AHS sent an electrician that did not fix the fan. I’ve been calling customer service since Feb 2019 trying to resolve issue to know avail. Cust. Associate have hung up on me, promise to call me back but didn’t, given me erroneous info about my warranty coverage and now want me to pay another $75 service Fee which I do not agree with to get another electrician

On November 20th, AHS sent Rose Heating to inspect our furnace. The technician said carbon monoxide was coming from the furnace so he shut it down and submitted the information to AHS. It is now December 5th and we still have no heat.

When we call customer service they tell us that the information has not been sent to them yet. But Rose Heating has filed it twice and called it in twice. When we call customer service, I think we reach a call center in Asia somewhere.

We never get to speak to the same person, and the girls just repeat the same talking points. They refuse to let us speak to a manager. Nobody seems to be able to coordinate between the warranty company and the heating company.

They tell us they will find a solution and call us back but they never do.

The plumber service arrived on time and identified the problem. Now the plumber service company States home shield does not cover it, The problem I have as the owner is to resolve the problem. AMERICA HOME SHIELD help me correct the problem please.

Example where is a resemble company to repair the problem give me three company in my area to correct it. Don’t leave me with a busted pipe.
