They fraudulently charged the wrong card and amount. They have admitted the error. It has been 2 days and a couple of hours on the phone. I advised them this has overdrafted my bank account and they wouldn't stop the pending charge or refund my money.

This is only the 2nd day with this company.

Called for dishwasher problem more than a week ago. A tech from sears came , he had to get an approval for the parts. It has been over a week, nothing has been done. I have called AHS several times getting run around and different answer from the agent.

Have asked to talk to the upper managment, noone will do it. I am very frustrated, angry and disappointed with you. Someone please give me a status of my request.

Worst service ever take your money and deny claims. Can’t reach complaint dept. have excuses why they won’t pay for your claim. Want cancel my warranty and still can’t speak to anyone. They don’t have a number you can call.

A nightmare my refrigerator has been out for over a week and had to keep calling, only to find out they denied the claim. Ridiculous! Worst company ever!!

Opened a service request to fix the Washing machine issue. The technician made multiple visits, ordered parts, and blew the servo. As part of the repair, he drained the water into a wrong pipe and caused the water damage to kitchen ceiling, walls, basement ceiling.

Called AHS many times, and the customer service reps had me explain the situation every time and did not take any action. I am frustrated.

Have been trying to get my refrigerator fixed for over 2 months. The first contractor they sent out twice but their reports were not good enough to where that contractor refused to keep wasting their time and wouldn't come anymore.

Next they called Sears repair, they diagnosed that it needs a plumber. AHS did not like that and insisted that Sears keep coming until they would make a different diagnosis. Sears came again and said the same. Again AHS not happy and wanted them to come again and made 4 more appointments for me and each time Sears would cancel.

Sears will only give you a window of 8am-5pm, so each appointment I had to rearrange my whole day for nothing. AHS says Sears never sent in the diagnosis from their last appointment which was 11/4/19. Today is 11/30/19. And still they…

Contact AHS to report that my refrigerator/freezer and ice machine was not cool. The 1st technician AHS sent come out around 11/8 and took a quick looked inside the fridge, pointed out some frost in the back of the freezer and said it needed a compressor and only Sear would be able to order the part and fix the problem.

He only look inside the fridge and did not put it out the fridge to inspect behind it. A week later on 11/13 a Sear technician came out and said he needed to order the compressor and the soonest they could come back was 8 days later on 11/21.

This is based on dealing with American Home Shield over the past two or three weeks. Here are the main, low points. I had to make four calls for a change of address to go through (my wrong address was on their records).

Each time I called, I was assured that it would be changed. It wasn't and last Friday, technicians who arrived went to the wrong address. Today I think it was finally changed. On Nov. 8, I called AHS and schedule three service calls.

For one I told the person the call was to fix a ceiling fan that wasn't working. Their phone person should have known that ceiling fans are not covered in my contract. They told me they were covered. Yet when the service person showed up they were told it wasn't covered. They were right.

My complaint is a billing issue. I called AHS Wednesday, November 20, 2019, in an effort to have my payment date changed from the 15th of the month to the 1st of each month. 1 check only! I am single and the only source of income is my retirement check.

After being on the phone for almost 30 minutes, I was told that I would be charged 2 times in the month of December and the next payment would be January 1st. I cannot afford to make 2 payments in one month.

We called in a service for our Polaris booster pump and Texas Pool Guy out of Lumberton were the guys you sent out. The Polaris was not running well once he changed out the pump and we called that day and was told to clean our screen on the vacuum.

We have since been cleaning out silicone daily and the vacuum barely moves. Nov 19, we noticed water leaking and called Texas pool guy company back several times trying to get the manager on the phone. We left several messages and he finally did call back that afternoon around 315.

66 a month, the first month was Nov. 6, 2019 that it was charged, if this is set up for a monthly billing then why did the billing dept. 66. I have made several calls to correct this but to no avail they cannot help me because they said I have to write to the company.

Customer Service is real bad. No phone calls returned. Credit card charge more than what was showed in the paper contract. Several phone calls made without any resolution. Now AHS has the odercity to tell me there is balance due. Very disgruntled customer.

Absolutely avoid this company at all costs. They seem to drag their feet at every turn to delay making repairs and holding up their end of the agreement. We've had to have the control panel on our oven replaced THREE times.

Every time it's the exact same issues and we know exactly what the problem is but have to wait three weeks for a technician to come out and file a report. Then we have to wait another 3-4 weeks for the technician to come out and install the control panel.

After the control panel went out a second time, we asked for a replacement or money towards a replacement. We were told by AHS that only the technician can request that in an email. We've called the technician every day for 2 weeks and are promised a return call every day and never get one.

I currently have five (5) contracts with you. One address has two contracts as the guest house is considered as Unit B and the Main house is considered as Unit A. Unit A and Unit for the property located at 7440 Topaz are paid at the same time.

AHS has indicated that I an delinquent on Unit B. I forwarded to the Supervisor copies of bank statements and credit to show that payments were indeed taken out of my account for these two units. I have had a home warranty with AHS for about 3 years. This is the first time that I've tried to access benefits from the plan and it has been a disaster. I am making this complaint online because when I requested the information on how to make a complaint with the AHS customer service, they would not provide me with the information.

My refrigerator has not been repaired in one month (as of this writing), due to errors and poor customer service from AHS. My refrigerator was misdiagnosed by AHS company June Appliance on Oct. 10, 2019, indicating the refrigerator was under warranty and needed to be repaired by Sears.

I have NO complaint about my service provider or the young men that came to help me. My complaint is that while I have been your customer I believe for around 18 years that I find that you continue to go up in price and include more exclusions.

I called for warranty on an electric heat pump on Nov. 1, Friday (I live in Minnesota and the high that day was about 35 degrees). I was told it would be Monday afternoon. I asked that my request be expedited. And was then asked why they should (not a friendly request). Uhhh, it is cold and I live in Minnesota....It was expedited and a tech came out that afternoon.

American Home Shield replaced my washer. The tech. came out to install the washer, and there is a problem with the plumbing that connect to the washer. Greenway Homes came out to repair I thought, but I learn later that it was just an inspection to access the issue.

I learn this morning that it may be 5 to 8 business days before they receive the part to make the repair. The tech. told me he could come back today, but I would have to call greenway to schedule the appt..

I am a very unhappy customer. I have been with American Home Shield for 10+ years, and most issues we have it is a battle to get things done timely. I am very upset about this. I always have problems with Greenway .

We have had American Home Shield (AHS) since we bought our home in 2010, and have had nothing but great things to say about this company until now. I have been dealing with them to fix my heater since May 2019, it is now November 2019 and still no heater.

I called AHS on 9/13/19 and cancelled my membership. The company rep was kind and respectful. She stopped the monthly auto-deduct from my bank account and fully understood my intentions. At that time, my account was fully paid. I owed them nothing.

For weeks / months I have received invoices and calls from the AHS accounts manager saying i owe them for two months because my account was not properly terminated. I terminated it. The company rep terminated my auto deduct payment.

I have not used the AHS services since. Why am I being hounded? What can I do to make them cease?

I have been trying since 10/11/19 to have my ceiling fan/light fixed through AHS. 2 contractors were assigned. Both contractors stated they did not have a ladder high enough for my 17ft. ceiling. At first I was told I would have to pay for the ladder rental.

Then I was told AHS would be responsible for the cost. Both companies refused to do the repair.

Second contractor never even came out. I was told on 10/30 that you would try to find another contractor out of my area and I would receive a phone call with 24 hours. I have had numerous calls to AHS, in which I have never received a returned call.

When I called on 11/4 I was told someone would call back and I did not get a phone call. I would appreciate someone handling this situation.

Worst customer service EVER. This company is set up to profit, which means, they do not pay out, and will look for every excuse not to. Within two years, they "replaced" my evaporator coil twice, and when it broke the third time, again only offered replacement of the part, not to replace the 12 year old unit.

Instead, I opted for the cash out of $690, but ha, ya, umm.. of course they every excuse not to pay this. Did I mention that every time they replaced the coil, I had to pay $600 out of pocket for freon, in addition to the $125 service call? Wicked scammers, this company.

You are so much better off paying for repairs out of pocket. Save the premiums and bank them to cover repairs the right way.

I have had a broken dishwasher for 2 months with the Appliance Tech, technician coming in on 3 different occasions for it to still not work. The worker has broken parts on my dishwasher as well as my washing machine.

American Home Shield refuses to replace my dishwasher because we are “waiting on a part”. I have taken so much time out of my work days to come and wait for this technician to not fix my dishwasher which has caused a loss of money for my family.

I have contacted your company 5 times to take advantage of my cash-out option and have received no call back, no letter and no check. My new air conditioning unit was installed on 8/14/2019. When my air conditioner broke down (during our week of 114 degree weather) American Home Shield approved a new compressor for my A/C unit.

The only problem was that it would take 5-10 days to get the new compressor and the unit was already 22 years old. I decided to replace the entire unit because of its age and the intense heat here in Las Vegas.

I am not happy with the service I have been getting from my home warranty plan. I have had problems over the past couple years with service request and the level of service I am getting from these request. this summer my central air went out and I waited 5 days for a company to contact me for a service request. I had to end up paying out of pocket for a company to come out and service my unit because I was having issues with getting a company from American HomeShield to come and fix the problem.

Last July my house was hit with lighting and blew out my panel. AHS tried for three days to find someone and could not so they said find someone yourself. We found a very reputable company had the AHS person on the phone with the electrician negotiating what kind of panel to put in and finally AHS said "send us the invoice".

When we sent the $4,500 invoice they said we never received proper authorization!!! They know they are supposed to cover it, the man said, in writing, "send the invoice" not send the estimate, and they refuse to respond. What a crock these people are.

On two different phones calling two different representatives and they are asking for the money up front. A 75 dollar service fee before any work is actually done. I requested a supervisor to express my concern about paying before the work.

The call center is trained to say there are no supervisors available at the moment and are trained to talk you out of speaking to a supervisor for any complaint. I’m on hold on two different phones and getting the same thing from two different people.

The reason for not wanting to pay prior to the service being completed is the fact that I’ve had issues with my Rental property where I ended up paying 3000 out of pocket to fix an issue that was never fixed by American home shield after paying the monthly premiums as well as the 75 dollar service fee.

99 for a single property from aug 2018 to July 2019. I found the error when my policy was renewed. I have contacted them several times since Aug 13, and they acknowledged the mistake on their part. 00 on duplicate policy.

I keep hearing the term “the check is in the mail”, but as of 10/24 I have received nothing. The outsourced customer service is terrible as I have speaking to someone several thousand miles away who don’t seem to care about issue.

Called AHS today about the fact that washer machine repair today ended up being a repair of theimproper install of a part installed a couple of months ago. Technician seems capable but they apparentlymade a mistake on first repair and admitted that the part had to be reinstalled and tightened properly. I called AHS SPsoon after the tech departed and the person responding on the phonewas not able to speak clearly enough for me to understand her responses to simple questions. Three years of paying lump sum payment and the 1st time I use it, I'm out the $75 Service Fee/Deductible and getting a serious run around from both AHS and the local HVAC Company. I've called AHS & the local contractor 5 times and been told each time that someone would "call me tomorrow" each time.

To date, I haven't received a single call from anyone. Now the local contractor is telling me the repair isn't covered, but AHS is claiming they've already paid them the $75 and that I can't get my money back. But they want to send a different contractor out to do it, and "their authorization dept will give me my options".

I had requested service to have my refrigerator repaired over three months ago. It took several attempts and several weeks to finally convince the service technician to arrive on-site. Once there he began by saying that he has never worked on the type of fridge that I own.

He also wanted me to help troubleshoot it. He ordered some parts(Apparently an entire wiring harness and other things). He did not install this, only the heater that came with the package because the freezer was not defrosting and causing ice to build up in the bottom of the refrigerator.

After not having much luck with this, I requested another service technician in hopes that would correct the issue. No luck. I had paid another $75 and got a new technician, but when he finally came out, he had no clue what was wrong…
