Worst customer service I've EVER encountered. Been waiting for our A/C to be fixed for 2+ weeks now. Calls to this company are the MOST frustrating thing I've ever dealt with. NOTHING happens. No return calls from AHS or the contractor. NOTHING.

They cannot, or will not tell you who their supervisor is. I've been on hold for 20 minutes waiting for someone in the "escalation" department to pick up. I don't understand how treating paying customers like this is ok for AHS and I don't understand their partnering with these crappy, crappy contractors, actually calling them "preferred vendors".

I’ve had a plumbing leak since June 6 a plumber called this morning and said he was on the way at 8 o’clock it’s almost 11 o’clock the plumbers never arrived. I called the plumbing company several times they never return calls I called American home shield several times and asked to speak to a supervisor or be reassigned to another plumber.

They are very slow and the way the system is set up it's very hard to get a human on the phone. The service contractor that was provided to us was very slow in getting back to us as we put in the claim last Wednesday and didn't get back to us until Friday and then didn't come over until Monday and then said we need a new part and at this point hasn't called it in yet. He said it would take at least a week.

AHS was much better when I first bought my house back in 1999. On August 19, 2003 my hot water heater not only went but they came over analyzed it and replace it all in the same day. When my hot water heater went in December, we had to wait another week for the new one to arrive. I had and still do have a A/C problem. I first called on 6/6 and service provided, Consolidated Mechanical was assigned they serviced the unit on 6/8/22 i did not receive a call or copy of work order detailing what service was provided to the unit so I'm relating what was said to the tenant by the tech.

he stated that the unit was older, and it is, and that he was going to report to AHS for replacement. when I called this am for a status I was told the unit was working at 59n degrees and service order was complete.

If I could rate zero stars I would. Every time we need to try to talk to a human about an issue we're having with a service request we can assume we'll be giving up at least one hour - the customer service reps have no authority to do anything! and then you're on hold for a supervisor who is never available and then hey, I'll get you an escalation manager - guess what? On hold for another hour and no one available or on calls with other disgruntled customers. Then we'll have one call you back in 24 hours - I've been down that road before - they NEVER call back.

I've now been on this phone call with AHS for 1 hour and 47 minutes! I can get through to Social Security faster and easier.

This is a Central Air replacement issue - AHS Account: 266148282. Last August 2021, I used to have a Trane 2 speed compressor A/C (AHS has record of this machine on my account). The compressor broke so AHS replaced it, without consulting me, with a 1 speed Lennox compressor.

The person that came to install the Lennox ONLY spoke Spanish and I only speak English. I kept saying to him that it did not look like the right part (it was WAY smaller) and he kept shaking his head and saing Ya, Ya Ya.

When my husband got home that day, he advised they had only put a one stage compressor in, not a 2 stage. I called AHS QUITE A FEW times to complain about this. Called about center air. Contractor stayed 5 min then said everything is fine. Next day ac breaks again open another work order contractor canceled it no one told me. For the last 2 weeks I have been on the phone with ahs who keeps telling me to wait to hear back from contractor who won’t answer any calls or emails from ahs or me.

Ahs sent it to escalation Dept 3 times who tells me to wait field supervisor won’t answer calls either. It’s 105F outside and I have kids in the house. I have been receiving very poor service from AHS. My AC unit was installed improperly, which they are more than aware of. As a result, my home was completely flooded. They kept bringing technicians out to do a minor adjustment but never fixed the unit correctly.

Now my AC unit is acting up again. When I called to speak with someone, I keep getting the run around. I have been without AC for a week and no one seems to care that my child and I have had to endure 100+ degree heat because they will not hurry the approval process along.

I have been lied to and mislead this entire time. And I NEED someone to do something about the poor service and lack of customer appreciation.

Oven replacement 11/15/21 request #85217298 parts ordered 01/05/22 part not available — needs to be sent in for repair. Estimated 10-14 weeks for repair 02/09/22 AHS states date part sent off for repair. 05/17/22 email from AHS asking if we would like cash in lieu. We replied yes.

Because of this we removed oven and had our trash company pick it up 05/24/22. I have water leaking from my ceiling in my kitchen. Called on 06/08/2022 for emergency service. The authorization number of 124522198 for my contract 598732028 was not forwarded to the plumbing company of Pruitt Plumbing until the morning of 06/09/22. I have an appointment between 12 noon and 5 PM today.

If this is not an emergency then what is? I do not think that a turn around time of over 12 hours is an immediate response.

Second, are you only covered with Pruitt Plumbing in my area? Is there no one that you are contracted with closer than Phoenix? That is 2 and 1/2 hours away from us.

American Hime Shield sent us a check for the wrong amount. 99. With numerous calls to correct this we still have not received our corrected check. We can not get a supervisor to call us back! We have asked numerous times for that call back and have been told over and over and over again they will call back in 24 hours and this has turned into 4 months of nothing.

Supposedly the check has been reprocessed about 5 times and still we don’t have it. Dates of arrival have come and gone! We do have pictures of the incorrect check with the check number and a copy of our invoice with approved amount that we paid.

Uses vague words in the contract "modification" to get out of paying for repairs. For my AC UNIT, that is covered per the contract, I was asked to cover $3800 of the repair because they were deemed "modifications" required to do the repair: These modifications included $422 for a labor and evaporative.

On or about April 14,2022 I called in for a service request to address my garbage disposal concerns. 00 and sent out Hills General Plumbing. They came looked at situation without changing out old garbage disposal for new one. 00 and take several hours to fix.

He said he would get authorization and return. He left the garbage disposal and left. Did not return . AHS sent out A1 Plumbing . That technician did something to get it to run temporarily. It worked about thirty two days and went out again.

Well the complaint on April 5 the representative came out after two weeks he determined that my in wall heater air conditioner needed to be replaced he said that the company excepted to clean I have been calling and getting no answers just roundabout I've been American Home Shield customer for years and I would like this taken care of I do not want the same Representative I would like the first one that was called Gallagher in WAterford.

This company is very difficult to communicate with. Most of their customer service reps are foreign and they speak very fast and this on top of an accent is difficult to follow. Another problem is the site for the appliance replacement choices.

I’m not complaining about the wait time for my appliance to become available. I totally understand the problem with that is beyond their control. What I’m having a problem with is that I have to call and renew the appliance site every 21 days and when I do call I am hassled about getting it reinstated.

The last time I had to get it reinstated the customer service rep told me to just start calling them. well, that doesn’t make any sense because then I can’t see the appliances that are available to me for my replacement.

I called to have a friend’s refrigerator repaired. She’s a minister and houses three families in her home and has no refrigerator. I made an appointment for Saturday, June 4 between 11 o’clock and 1 o’clock. At 3 o’clock the technician still had not shown up.

When I called the company to inquire of his whereabouts, they advised they could not reach him and suggested I reschedule for three days later. Needless to say I canceled the repair.

Can I say the service has been negative stars? We filed a ticket on 5/10/22 and it’s still open. The contractor they sent was rude and is trying to gouge us. Customer service is a joke. They either don’t call back or they give different answers every time they call.

We want the ticket transferred to a different contractor we have used in the past and they won’t let us. We want to cancel the ticket and start a new one, but apparently we can’t do that either.

I have repeatedly asked that a printed paper copy of the contract be sent to me by USPS. I DO NOT DO ONLINE STUFF. It is AHS business expense to provide policy holders with a copy of the policy. I will not use my time, my printer, my paper, my ink, etc. to print out your business record. Young people may be dense enough to see you are transferring your business expense to them, but this old paralegal sees right through that for what it is.

If AHS cannot send a copy of the policy, consider it cancelled with refund due.

Date: June 1, 2002My contract is up for renewal on 6/15/2022. 00 discount. I was driving at the time and could not transact business. I called back today to pay for the renewal early and in full. I was told that the system would not allow her (the representative) to give me a discount and I should call back on June 15.

Keep your money in your pocket and do not give it to this scam of a company. I had my first call to them to use my warranty and it was an absolute joke. The air-conditioning stopped working and I contacted them.

They sent out the contractor for repair, they looked at the problem and said it was the condensation pump. They left without fixing the bad pump. I tried to have them come back out for a week with no response.

I replaced the pump myself. When I called to ask for my deductible to be refunded, they said they couldn't since they had already come out. Asked for a manager several times, all they could do is repeat is that the repairman had already come out so they cannot give me a refund.

I called in a request on May 7th. On May 8th a technician came, diagnosed the problem. On May 10th someone from Ken Buggeys company called and asked what the issue was. I explained that AHS requested a 2nd opinion from the first tech. We used AHS MONTHS ago and have an incomplete plumbing situation which we have contacted AHS on numerous occasions. We also contacted the plumbing company that sent the technician - Curry Plumbing and they were unable to help us because of AHS.

We have made numerous calls to AHS and get 'passed around' to polite but personnel who are inept and are not fluent in the English language. We receive no follow-up calls and have even attempted to contact the corporate office but are unable to do so .

On May 19, 2022 I had experienced leaking hot water tank. 00 to American Home Shield as per contract I have with them. It took American Home Shield 10 days to replace hot water tank and those 10 days included Memorial Day weekend I was without hot water in my house. 00 to them.

In addition the contractor they submitted to me is not a plumbing company it must be a company that employees some butchers. The service man was running back and forth to get some parts and he made a huge hole in the dry wall after he did some damage to inside the pipes while doing his job.

I only had a leaking water tank and there was no reason to cut the dry wall and left me with a big hole and mess. Nor cooperation from American Home Shield or the plumbing company they hired to do the job.

I have never had this issue, since I been with American Home Shield, however I am now holding both American Hold Shield and Beaches Air accountable. I have been without air now over a month and it is very hot in Florida, however both have given me the run around regarding a part that was ordered in April, it's about to be June some how Beaches air was saying they didn't receive the part.

We bought a home in May of 2021 in Pierce county Washington. 00 1 year all paid. We have a 7500. 00 commercial grade gas range to include center griddle. The griddle stopped working in early February of 2022, still under initial warranty from home purchase. 00.

ASH contacted RPS Service to repair. RPS came out assessed the problem and relayed to a AHS representative that the part was not made anymore. we turned the offer down and opted to wait for the part that was to arrive in 10 weeks.

From the pool service repair company Aqua Maid. Per your request, below is the verbiage that was turned in to AHS regarding your filter: “Existing Filter has cracked push/pull, blown manifold, and cracks in the housing tank that are causing lack of pressure, leaking, and lack of water circulation which will cause pool not to filter properly, cause algae growth, and effect other equipment.”

Our recommendation was simply to replace to the filter with another Pentair 60 DE.

At no point did we discuss dirty cartidges, grids, or high pressure.

The damaged part needing replaced is the attached Pentair 60 DE. This is not a disposable filtration system, which AHS is incorrectly basing the denial on. I am being quoted section H # 6, specifically Disposable filtration medium, from my policy as…

I placed a service request for my ac and never heard from the service provider about the cost, etc. and can’t get in touch with them. Contacted ahs as it has been over 2 weeks and I haven’t heard anything.

Rep stated my portion for the repair which is pretty high plus the service provider stated at the time of diagnosis that the unit needs 7lbs of Freon. Ahs stated 9lbs. I don’t want to work with a company I can’t communicate with.

I asked for another provider but was told I have to use this one or pay another service fee. I don’t believe I should have to pay another service fee as the current contractor is unreliable and unreachable. Not happy and thinking about canceling the two plans I currently have with ahs.

Assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

AHS is very very slow about making sure that my home appliances are back in working condition in a reasonable timeframe. Contractor have been out for refrigerator 3 times already and it is still not working properly. I have lost food that equals to the Service Call fees.

AHS contractors don’t answer their phone for AHS and myself for recall. Been without working refrigerator about 2 weeks.

This is the worst company I've ever dealt with I have been trying since Sunday to get a repair done a repair done I have made a call every hour almost 32 calls I have been hung up on I have been transferred I've been put on hold there is no way to reach someone in the United States who speak English all of their customer service comes out of either either the Caribbean or another foreign country they do not stand behind their warranties and

no one can help you all they ever say is I understand I'm so sorry When in fact they don't. Worst company no customer service
