I have been a customer for over 10 years. I actually used AHS once or twice in all that time. During that 10 years I probably paid over $7,500 in total fees. It is not logical to continue.

I have been trying to cancel my account for the last 2 - 3 days but have only had unsatisfactory conversations with customer service representatives who don't really want me to cancel. I've been referred to the "Cancellation team" a number of times and have been waiting for their return phone call. Nothing.

Why do business with a company who is not responsive to my requests???

Refrigerator repair service request filed 6/23/2021. No repair. Parts unavailable. Requesting replacement for months. Each time, I am told that someone will call within 24 hours. No call back. My contract is being violated. I pay my premiums each month (on 2 contracts).

I paid $100 for this repair in June. I am over 65 years old and this is my worst experience in customer service, ever. When I call to request filing a complaint, the agent says they cannot transfer me. I get the same old “someone will call within 24 hours”. No one calls.

If i could give negative stars, I would. My AC died Sept 18 2021, and to their credit, they had their chosen contractor company, "Air Magic LLC" out in just a few hours because they didn't want the diagnostic from the 1st company.

) came out, checked the AC, confirmed what the previous tech said that it was a bad leak on an old machine. It would be almost $800 to refill the freon + whatever it would cost to try and repair the leak. This was Saturday, Sep18.

I call on AHS on Monday for an update, am told it's in review, and to give them a couple of days to make their decision on repair vs replace. I called back on Wednesday the 22nd, spoke to another AHS rep who asked me to give them the end of the day to hear back on the decision.

Worst company I have ever experienced by far! I honestly can’t believe how rude these people are. This person named Holly Schettler is unbelievably cruel. She told me how she and their vendor were making fun of me because they didn’t like me. All I was trying to do was get them to fix a plumbing problem covered by my policy.

She accused me of lying about a leak in my ceiling. So I sent so many pictures and she said she couldn’t open them. I had to climb into my ceiling an get an actual video of the leak happening and she said she couldn’t see it.

I’m still in shock about the rudeness. And the thing that really gets me is she probably a star at that place because she is so mean and such a liar that she gets credit for lying and denying the actual existence of the leak. It’s been 6 months…

have been a customer with you all since 2020 it will soon end.. I had an open claim that was filed in July. The contractor has reached out to you all on several occasions about doing a buyout.. I have called seemingly 3 o 4 times a month trying to find out what is going on.

The buyout conversation took place in July. I just recently called, this month on last week, only to be told that a buyout can’t be done as they have parts on order that have never arrived! I would never ever never recommend this company to anyone.

I entered a service call on 7/13/21. Service request #77281537. It was assigned to Integrity Air Conditioning and Heating. It has not been completed as of 9/23/21. He never answered phone calls and no messages could be left because his voicemail was always full.

He would answer texts a few days later after I sent him a text a day. This contractor canceled the ticket after I requested an itemized proposal of materials and work to be performed in my house. I called AHS two weeks into the ticket to find out the status.

I have had AHS contractors repair my AC in my home several times. My AC went out and TEMP PRO MECHANICAL INC came out on 09/13/2021 and basically told me I need a new AC compressor and new inside unit.

The repair man said all the previous repairmen have been doing minimal repairs to get the AC temporarily functioning. I have paid several trip charges and the AC never works right. The last contractor sent the information to AHS about the AC and at first they were willing to replace the system.

Today they tell me its from secondary damage but this is from their contractors putting a bandage on the AC and not completing the work. I in no way have touched my AC because I have no experience in HVAC.

We have had so many AC issues. We contacted American Home Shield for all those issues, and now, there is a crack in our ceiling due to water leakage from the AC. Keep in mind, every time we put in a work order or request service on our home, we have to pay the $75 fee.

I have been a member for almost 3 years. Auto pay each month. Never have placed a claim until July 27, 2001. Air Conditioner not working. 00, they sent an Air Conditioner repair company and they submitted what they needed to AHS.

As of today, September 2, 2021, still no call back from AHS and still air conditioner has not been fixed/repaired. I have called AHS almost every day and no one can get me a status but only that parts are on research.

I called their purchasing department and after 4 hours and 45 minutes on hold someone answered and they said that they were going to look into it and place a rush on it. As of today, parts have not been ordered, and they never have a supervisor available.

AC "technician" contracted by AHS came out in June 2021. Looked at AC unit. Wouldn't go in attic because it was too hot and we "had a black roof" that supposedly made it to hot to go into. Supposedly ordered a new unit.

Unit arrived at contractors but they sent it back for a better unit. I offered every reasonable option to work with them. Come at night! Come at 2:00am! Come when it cools off! I'll run window units into the attic to cool it! Fans!

We have had American Home Shield (AHS) insurance for our house appliances, including our AC. On July 7th our AC went out, we filed a service request with AHS. They sent a contractor, who stated that the blower motor was out.

The AC unit is from 1972 and used R22 Freon. After the contractor told AHS that the blower motor was out , AHS tried to find the parts to fix it, then they sent it to the contractor to find the parts, neither found the parts.

So on August 23rd I was told by the Contractor and AHS that they would replace it. The contractor was going to submit replacement paperwork. I hadn't heard anything by August 27th so I called AHS and asked when they would be replacing it.

It's almost a month since I put in a request for repair for my A/C unit that stopped working. Until now the A/C is still not repaired. Every time I call customer service agents would tell me something only to be told something different the next time I call.

I am not the AHS customer, but the real estate agent that sold my neighbor's home earlier this year. The young couple that bought it had a plumber over the other day. Since I recently sold the house and know it was in good shape after the home inspection, I asked the new buyer husband what happened.

He said the hall bathroom toilet was rocking and leaking some. I asked him if the plumber said he had a broker floor flange, which he did. This was on a Monday and the plumber was supposed to be back on Wed to complete the repair.

I called in about my HVAC 4x and each time they send out ppl that cannot work on a zoning system. They all keep messing it up. No heat in the winter. No AC in the summer. It’s over 90 degrees in my room and I’m waiting almost 2 months now for a resolution.

I have two accounts with AHS. One of the accounts is in my daughters name, nut I pay the monthly charge. My monthly payment during last year was $78.00 a month and my daughters was $77.00. My new contract went from $78.00 to $86.66 and my daughters went from 77.00 to $104.48. The lady told me from AHS that rates are bases on your street address. Hi, we have a water heater issue since June 17th 2021 and we had been calling and trying to schedule to repair. Since then we spoke to atleast 50 agents and opened multiple tickets with no resolution as of today august 24th 2021.

We have spent atleast 10-11 hrs a week talking to customer service to get this resolved. I have not seen worst customer service in my entire life I will keep trying and post multiple experiences we had in past few weeks and the frustration and inconvenience irá caused for us.

My HVAC unit went completely out on July 12, 2021. I went on the AHS website to request service and paid the $75 service fee. AHS assigned a HVAC contractor, who was 2 hours away from my home. The contractor showed up on 7/20/21, and tried to diagnosis the problem without access to the inside of my home (did not call to ensure I was home).

The contractor was very rude and extremely unprofessional. I filed a complaint with the BBB. I called AHS immediately and they sent out a local HVAC contractor. The new contractor came on 8/4/21. The problem was a bad compressor and possibly a coil.

I submitted a service request for my 20+ year old A/C unit that went out. The person sent out was unprofessional is is trying to bandaid fix the unit with a coil repair when the unit is was too old to be bandaid fixed.

I had a water heater replaced by American home shield September 2020 . The water heater was not functioning correctly . I contacted American home shield and was told because it was less than a year I needed to contact the manufacture .

I would like to file a complaint. We have had our microwave broken for over a month. We have had two servicemen from Sears come out and it is still not fixed. One of the parts are on back order and we don’t know when it will be in.

I have been with this company for too many years and properties to count. I have never experienced such poor service since moving to Michigan this year. I pay over $80 a month, requested service for several faucet issues, paid my $100 service fee and the plumber came out, never came back.

Put in a service request for a broken garbage disposal, sent to the same company. Another $100 and never came out. After 2 months, called and got a $100 refund, paid another $100 for a new plumbing company. On July the 31st, 2021 I put in a request for service regarding my HVAC system. On August 3rd Sheppards HVAC service was sent to diagnose the issue with my HVAC. I was told by the service provider that there was a leak in my HVAC and the part would be ordered by the next day.

I have been trying to get our microwave and dryer repaired. On July 13, 2021 Accord Appliance came to our house to service the microwave and dryer. Two or three weeks ago ASH said the dryer parts were in and they were waiting for the microwave parts.

My name is Barbara Alexander, contract # 660309377, address of 18316 35th Place South, Seatac, WA 98188. On July 28th, I requested service for a roof leak on our mobile home as well as the bathroom exhaust fan that sits below the roof leak.

Water goes into that electrical element and could short out or cause a FIRE! , but he did not understand what this fan was. this is NOT a paddle fan. I guess whatever country he was located in doesn't have these.

I called the Electrical Company regarding the fan request. They received the order but when I explained it is NOT a paddle fan and water was involved, they said I would need to get the request corrected and they could not work on the exhaust fan till the roof was fixed first.

I waited about a week and called back to see about the roof…

Still waiting since Saturday am to have air conditioning fixed. No one showed up yet. It is Monday afternoon.
