We have not been able to receive or send e-mails since Saturday, October 28th. I have called AOL technical support many times and they keep saying my issue has been escalated to the MOST technical support team, but no one has called or got in touch with me since this issues arose on Saturday. My case number is 21511949. My business is 100% dependent on getting, receiving and sending e-mails, so we have lost a ton of money due to lost business. The e-mail addresses affected are:

My mother is almost 70 years old, she has had AOL for almost if not more than 20 years. Within the last few years we found out she was having strokes so I began helping her, I am her daughter Shawna Holman 850 586 0718 I noticed that she was being charged from yahoo and AOL but only goes on to check her emails.

After calling multiple people who automatically told me there was nothing they could do to help us I finally reached a supervisor about a week or two ago who advised me he could refund me for 3 months of charges on his end and cancel all subscriptions my mom was signed up for, but that he would need to escalate the rest to see what final amount my mom could be refunded for , seeing as these subscriptions were being charged for several years.

Passwords don't work. Constant loops of text messages and emails to verify and temporary passwords that necer appear or are claimed to be invalid. All I wanted to do was add my email to a new phone and it put me through 5 hours of he'll and then said I tried it to many times.

Its a hammer without a handle. Too difficult to use. I have used it for 30 years and I suppose its time to move on. I called customer service and the same people who made using AOL impossible for the average user wanted me to pay them to fix it.

The way I see it they designed the system to make money from loyal users because they caused problems too difficult to solve. Thats just wrong. There are easier solutions. If its this jacked up now its just going to get worse.

07192023: Hello: in the "new and improved" AOL, there's no way to INSERT a photo into an email. You can ATTACH a photo to an email, but you can no longer insert a photo. What kind of nonsense is this "improvement"?

My father died and for months I have been trying to gain access to his email account to find any information that would be useful to me as administrator of his estate. I have called the customer service number about 10 times and they always tell me they will send paperwork for me to submit so that I can gain access. They never send anything.

Then I tried contacting AOL through Facebook and was given the customer service number. No one can give me any other info. I am frustrated beyond words.

I AM LIVID ABOUT THE FORCED "NEW FORMAT" OF AOL MAIL!!!

How DARE those clowns at AOL migrate us all to a new format, without even so much as the option to stay with the Classic format!!! AOL charged me $30.68 I think 3 times starting March. I never had this “protection”. Please read notes the day it attempted to be installed. The computer crashed, would not show anything on the screen to allow me to contact BB Geek Squad from home. Your Cust. Serv. Rep said I’d have to take it in to Best Buy to fix. He could do nothing before transferring me to someone who could do nothing. I took it to Geek Squad. It took about 1 ½ weeks to repair. It would not allow this program if it was to function. The entire desktop was wiped clean, everything deleted and returned in a new program without, of course, your “protection".

I have Webroot. Your Rep told me many things. My e-mails had been hacked. He said he would be able to identify the hacker and cease these spam e-mails received minute…

I don't understand that when I'm on my computer to check my AOL mail I have to get a verification code but when I check my AOL mail on my cell phone I don't have that problem. This is very irritation and don't see the reason for this AOL mail verification code when on my computer.

For the past week to 10 days I keep getting a suspicious activity error message not allowing me to log in. I have to have a code sent for me to verify my own damn account. I have called multiple times about this, and every "so called" technical support talks to me like im a kid.

I have been working on computers with the federal govt for over 25 years. I know more than your techs do. They all make it sound like its not an issue. This issue is requiring me to use 2 way authentication without me having any say in the matter.

I have been with AOL since the very beginning, and only keep it now because I have important emails saved there. I even pay for AOL, just so I can use email. AOL offers nothing else that interests me anymore.

Dear Madam/Sir, I signed into my AOL account this morning and opened my New Mail option. In the upper left corner under AOL Mail , there was a "Try New AOL" (or words to that effect). I hit that option and my New Mail it was completely different from the option that I've known for years.

Additionally, I was frozen; I couldn't change to another option like Saved Mail or Today On AOL. I didn't like it, but I couldn't the way to go back to what I had for years. It said "Try", not switch, so I expect a button I could hit to take me back to the AOL I've known for years.

PLEASE HELP ME and tell me how to restore my AOL. I'm an 81 year old retired Vietnam veteran that's not a "tech weenie" that has used my AOL as my primary for over maybe 25 years that really needs your assistance.

i have been locked out of my aol mail account for 8 days now. i have tried for 5 days to contact someone. b phone number recovery email address anyone i have had emails from in past 7 days. I have given information to them on 3 occasions and still nothing they refuse to help me.

I am the administrator of my brothers estate. He passed away months ago and I have been trying to stop the monthly charge to his bank account. I want a refund I will supply you with the death certificate and court papers.

com This has happened before and I managed to speak to Technical Team and they sorted it all out - I had been hacked and they gave me a Cisco Firewall. I have had these e mail accounts since 2002 AOL will not unblock as I did not provide enough information: They want me to list 4 e mails which I wrote more than seven days before the problem.

They want e mail address AND subject matter. If I don't have access to my e mail accounts how can I possibly provide such information?! These e mail accounts hold very important information and documents. I need access as soon as possible

The only way I found to get out of the AOL situation is to cancel the credit cards they have on file for me. Their cancellation process is a scam to keep you. Their posted information says they do not consider customer satisfaction a priority activity.

Get out while you can.

I am no longer allowed to say anything at all on AOL threads. They didn't notify me that I've been kicked off, but they won't publish a single comment of mine. It happened after I used the word "revenge" with respect to the new Republican House.

The worse customer service I have ever experienced. I have been trying to get my account reactivated since Thursday. I have been a customer since AOL startup date... in other words a loyal customer. Needless to say you would think this would be a simple task.

I have went through the ID verification system three times and still nothing solved. After a battle today to reset the password (not reactivate the account) we are back to zero results. I have asked to speak to a supervisor who is suppose to return my call today. We will see.

I called AOL on Monday, August 8, around the 10 pm (CST) to resolve an issue for me. The rep listened and yelled at me and bullied me to order a subscription that I did not wish to purchase. I asked him to transfer me to another department.

He bullied me again and said he will not transfer me until I purchase the subscription. Is this what AOL has come to? The reps are mostly pleasant but this is not the first time I have encountered a nasty representative.

What can I do to ensure this does not happen to me again. I have been with AOL for perhaps two decades.

I am blocked from aol because I refused to pay 15 dollars a month for premier service. Customer service is rude. There is no help. I have tried at least 50 times to get a new password a d it cannot be done.

Cit is frustrating and I need to see my email for important health and other issues. Worst service ever.

I called AOL a few weeks ago to get help because all my email was going to spam, the agent was rude and all he wanted was to sell me something, I told that on the survey I was sent. I think it was the same guy started calling me every day several times.

I finally answered and she said remember me Ginny. I never answered again. I We had to contact Geek Squad who we have a contract with about my husbands laptop. We were waiting for Geek Squad to call us back and this guy called me again and I thought he was Geek squad and I asked him and he said I'm Higher authority. 00 security .

They sent code to my other email. Did not come. Did get some lady who connected to the laptop. Said it was very slow and I needed System Mechanic. O K I said, like a dummy. She put it in and then ran it. 1857 errors.

S M would not delete them. She said I had to call S M and gave me the number. THERE ARE NO REAL PEOPLE AT S M!! All done by smoke signal and email. Another gypsy company. They, AOL is just another scam company like S M and Commiecast.

Hello,

On your home page just below the stories there is a small window with daily videos and commercials/advertisements. Those advertisements are almost fraudulent. I have purchase several of the items from different sites that are shown. Many of these are the same company that simply change their website name. They sell items that are straight up junk compared to what they are claiming to sell. In many cases the items are counterfeit knockoffs of actual items. You really should research this and remove the adds as there have been thousands upon thousands of victims. Some simple searches will reveal this.

I tried to change my profile picture and when I did I pushed delete and the message came back and said I deleted my account. I tried through the help net work to get back in to no avail. So I called AOL help and was told that I would have to pay for a premium service to get my account working again.

They said my account was deleted and there’s nothing I can do about it but AOL still has the account active it’s only deleted on my end. So unless I pay a fee. I have been an aol Customer for years and this is the first problem I have had.

I cannot believe I am being charged or would be charged to use my account again. I have never heard of such a terrible customer service from any business in my life. I will never ever do business with you again

I have been a member of AOL for more than 20 years. I had a problem resetting my password and after hours of frustration I called AOL for help. The agent was very pleasant and assured me she could help me with the reset.

95 and I would have to pay now with a credit car . I have never been charged for help in all my 20 plus membership years. I am 80 years old and that’s expensive to me. I felt I was between a rock and a hard place and had no choice.

My phone is very important to me as I depend on it daily because I am compromised health wise. I would appreciate a credit for this charge. com

I have used aol since 1976. Recent experiences are making me quit aol forever. i have a master screen name (Hscreen1) and one sub account left (aquality4u1). I tried to sign on 3 days ago to aquality4u and was told to change password but then it locked me out.

I was going to delete it and make up a new name. The first 8 reps over 3 days told me how to reset password and how long to wait for server reset etc. spent many hours on the phone.

each told me something different. the one yesterday told me to wait 24 hours and i told her that if it didnt work today (sunday) i would quit aol and ask to have the remaining names deleted. it didnt work.

I have sent an email with screen shots, reporting a person for harassment, death threats, sexual vulgarity in AOL games. I have flagged multiple times, I no longer bother, Delphi is useless. I have been a loyal AOL paying customer for over 20 years, and have not even been given a response. I am very disappointed in your service and lack of response. All posts made to the newsrooms conversation boards are rejected for not following community standards. Every person I have spoken to at AOL says that I have not been blocked. This has been going on for over 2 months.

Numerous phone calls, texts, emails, surveys have proven useless. On 2 occasions I've had customer service tell me they can't help me, one of which was less that courteous. On two occasions long interactions with tech service resulted in the p-hone call just dropping out with no return call. One tech went clear into our computer and put it in Safe Mode then disappeared.

Today i requested that a manger or supervisor come to the phone. I was put on hold twice and told they were too busy.

We have had disagreements in the past.

The newest AOL has blocked every post since I told the OTHER side of Floyd holding a gun to a pregnant woman stomach - while his 5 buds robbed her home in an home invasion robbery (which he was CAUGHT and spent time in prison NO ENOUGH I might add of mine) and continues - even if I say OBAMA was GREAT - deleted!! I am getting an increasing number of spam and phishing emails. Today I had 11. Despite my constantly emailing these emails to the AOL phish email, they grow in number each day. I am going to write a letter to the CEO, give him 30 days to stop the phishing and spam, or I will file a formal complaint with the PA Attorney General's Office of Consumer Protection.

Email system is the worst.

Constant error messages that they have encountered a technical error.

Cannot open emails, cannot send emails.

This happens constantly and it stinks!
