What is there not to complain about Bank of America? As the years have progressed their in person and over the phone customer service has gotten really bad. The bank now charges for one to breathe in their branhes. And the manager at the branch located at 888 NW 62nd St.

Do not bank with BofA. Their check hold policies and practices are unreasonably long. They do not honor the hold stated on your receipt. Your deposit can be flagged by their system as high risk and then additional holds are placed.
They do not tell you that though until after the fact. Even if you call and complain, they will just tell you there is nothing they can do. Checks clear in 3 to 5 business days, so a hold of 10 days is extensive.
Most other banks will release at least $100 to $200 right away, and then the remainder in the next few days. Not Bank of America though.. stay away if you want your money in a timely manner! We live in a town with a population of nearly 50,000. We used to have two BofA branches but both are now closed. The ATMs are still available at one but frequently are out of money. There is no way to file a complaint other than calling a customer service person who probably doesn't do anything with this type of service complaint.
We've had accounts at BofA for nearly 4 decades and are about the move all our accounts due to this lack of service.
Towards end of 2022, Bank of America sold off their AmTrak credit card to another bank. Prior to this action I had 4 credit cards total of a bit over 40K in total credit line. They automatically closed on my accounts, which effectively decreased credit line by 25%.
This increased my debt to credit line ratio causing a ripple effect to my credit score. By such action, lowering my score, during that time I had some hard inquires that also hit my credit score due to aggressively shopping for a car loan.
So my score dropped over 30 points in a few weeks. Instead of keeping my credit line across three cards, i lost 25%, so i applied for a 4 th card again. Now BoA, extended me a 4th card again, but instead of giving me the approved amount, someone decided to split one of my cards and lowered…

I bank at Bank of America. There is one of my bills that is paid with"bill pay" which means that each month on the same date, money is taken from my account to pay that bill automatically. On November 3, 2022, Bank of America paid that bill as scheduled.
Then on that same day, the payment was withdrawn and put back into my account! The company is in the process of terminating my business with them and taking me to court for non-payment! I called Bbank of America and asked who gave them permission to cancel that payment.

I went into the bank of America Castro Valley branch on Saturday at 3:00 PM to add my wife to my account as a co owner since we just got married. I wanted to change last name. I had all of the required credentials. after initial processing from Service rep, it was noted that I needed my husbands to come in to sign a new signature card. Even though nothing on him was changing. After leaving my husband said he could meet me there. so we came back. I showed the teller(Camille) my bag and she spoke to the manager(Sheila Widjaja)who refused to accept it for shredding. I spoke with Sheila explaining that I’ve done that at the same branch for years and she responded that BOA was in the banking business not the shredding business.
