Upon having to freeze my accounts over the weekend due to poss. fraud, I was told I would have to go into the bank in person to unfreeze my accounts. I did schedule an appt with my local branch but could not get in until 2:00.

I then noticed an email that informed me my preference of paperless statements had been saved. I did not make any changes to my account. " and I felt my acct. had indeed been hacked I went to my branch (195 Lemmon Dr, Reno, NV 89506) just after opening hours aprox. 10:15.

There was only 1 banker working the floor. When she finished with the client in her room she came out and asked how she could help me. I told her I had poss. fraud and needed to check my acct.

she stated I needed to call the fraud department, I explained about my email and stated I wanted to see…

Hello, I have been a credit card member with Bank of America for years. I have asthma and breathing issues. Unfortunately, I contacted covid along with post covid symptoms; due to this occurrence, I was hospitalized during the time spirit charged a membership fee to my card; if you look at my payment history, you will see I rarely use this card; I called to send over documentation to show I was hospitalized however someone told me to dispute it with Experian, how can Bank of America decline to approve my request when I've been a member for years and

What happened to BOA in basking ridge nj? Today (Saturday) I went to do my banking and they are closed. Yesterday they were closed due to Veterans Day. I thought banks couldn’t b closed 2 days in a row? Hours during the week and crazy too!

They open at 10:00 am, instead of like all the other banks in the town or 9:00 am. I mean come on BoA you really need to do better. Very inconvenient!

I had accounts with bank if America for over 8 years in 3 different states, I loved them!! Then I had an issue with "possible fraud" which I had documents to support, causing them to close my account, and take over $400 I had in my accounts.

I recently had a company inform me I had money in an account and they pushed it through to my old account before I could update it, and bank of America accepted my money on a closed account!!!!! This is unacceptable I have not been associated with BOA for over a year, haven't gotten any answers and am now out even more money!??!!! Do better!!!! Unacceptable!

I was a victim of check fraud. Your employees let the Perpetrator indorse several unauthorized checks. My mortgage was processed, it was taken out off my daily balance in my checking account, and the bad check made it bounce. When I utilize my account , I get treated as if I'm less than a maggot.

On Saturday, October 5, 2022, I arrived at your branch on Redondo Blvd in Gardena, Ca at 9:20 am to pay my Equity Line account and I didn't leave until 10:50. For several months this branch has been understaffed. On this particular day, a Regional Supervisor removed and placed two tellers to other locations and didn't accommodate us by replacing them.

That extended my wait time from an half an hour to an hour. I am a disabled individual and I can't stand for that long period of time . I told the guy in back of me that I needed to sit down to wait for a teller.

The disable window is always closed, there's seem to be no special services available for the disabled clients. Today, there was some confusion between me and the other customers in line, who did not want to recognize that I was in…

I would give zero to negative star if it's available. Recently their Customer Service has gone weirdly downhill - I used to be able to log in to my account and write to them and got some response back right away. But now you click on the link, it would popup the omnipresent headshot of Holly O'Neill, the new CSD chief, smiling brightly to ask you to write to her personalized business email (provided) and she would respond certainly.

33 minutes. Trying to straighten out a mistake that Bank of America made. I pay bills through bill pay and I have for many many years. Bank of America sent my Verizon payment to the wrong place. They sent it to MCI instead of to Verizon like they always do.

I have no idea who that even is. I contacted MCI after I was notified by Verizon that my bill would soon be due. MCI doesn’t even exist for normal payments and hasn’t for ten years I was told by a rep from Verizon.

I think this is totally unacceptable to be put on hold this long to try to fix a Bank of America’s mistake. They sent a check to MCI per my checking account info on their website. I paid Verizon again because I would never let a bill be overdue.

I had medical issues with a what was believed to be a stroke when I filled out my normal monthly payment of $300 and accidentally put an extra 0 to make it $3000. I called the BOA as soon as I found my mistake and they first said that there was nothing they could do about it.

My wife later called to explain the problem, but this time they told her that it takes two payment cycles to refund the money. My wife called again( 2 Oct 2022) to check the status of the refund only to be told the my routing number was needed to return the money.

I made a charge on my check card that BoA found suspicious, so they put a hold on my card. I have verified my identity and told them the charge was mine through multiple texts, through the website multiple times, and through SIX phone calls to BoA. There is STILL a hold on my card 48 hours later.

To be clear: the people I worked with all did their best to help me. This is a system problem.

On September 24, 2022 I received an email from BOA Stating fraud alert on my account and I contacted them immediately. 2 transactions was through ZELL so after explaining that to the banker I was transferred to ZELL after holding on 1 hour to file t he complained.

A representative finally answered the phone to take my claim. The ZELL amount was almost 4,000 I have never heard of this person before and every time I call them it's a 1-2- hour hold time for the ZELL department to answer.

I have been a customer for over 22byears with large sums of money in this bank. this is unjust.

I made a wire transfer from my account at Bank of America to my account with a UK bank. The UK bank decided the recipient account details were not good (although the same details were fine in April) and returned the wire transfer to Bank of America.

The initial transfer was made on 9th September and to date (27th September) the money is not back in my account at Bank of America because someone is "not in the office and her work has had to be distributed to other people".

Meanwhile, I was told this transfer was being returned from the UK on 15th or 16th and it was confirmed on the 19th and I was told the money would be back in my account in 3 to 5 days. That was 8 days ago and I've just been told - 3 to 5 days again.

I was with Bof A since 2010. I never committed any unlawful act what so ever. I never went to jail or did any crimes in my entire 62 years of life. My drug addict daughter, who has a criminal record, who spent a year in jail for breaking and entering, theft, and drunk in public, who had an account with BofA, less then one year!!!

She lied and said I stoled from her zelle. 00 then it worked!!! 00. She won, even though Zelle states once you send it it is GONE. 00. they are made up Zelle's . 00 check in the mail to me.

I am a longtime B of A customer. I went to B of A Studio City on Ventura Blvd on Aug 31st and there were no tellers to address my banking needs. NO TELLERS! So I couldn't do my banking.

Went last week as well and there were no tellers either. And the day before, in the middle of the week, the bank was CLOSED. I am one of many who were upset and disgusted at the lack of service at our bank.

I will take all my money out and close my accounts if this doesn't change and get back to normal. Just giving you a head's up. Fix the situation. Or you will lose many customers including me!

I was a victim of unauthorized transactions to my account from a website called Luckyland, which is owned by VGW, an online casino company. I had an account there for a few months but only used cash app for modest purchases. I have since closed the account and contacted their support department for help.

The exact loss i believe adds up to $5631 although the people i spoke to in the BofA fraud department said some of the last transactions were pending, I'm not sure what the outcome is. Worst bank ever to bank from. Will wait till you have no money on your card to take an old credit making it negative. Once had withdrawn $800 and only received $700 I filed a claim they credited me $100.

But took it back saying their investigation didn’t see an atm error, but the next day one of my bills got half stuck in the atm and torn but they claim the atms are perfect.

Also bank didn’t cover me when someone found my card and uploaded money to cash app as well. Lost $500 with or more with this bank. I will be filing a complaint everyday I’m free to!!!!!

Bank of America should be embarrassed by their customer service department. After you argue with an automated system to reach a representative, you end up with someone who may or may not speak in English you can understand & most likely has no idea about anything associated with BOA.

Normally, you have to hold 25-30 minutes to reach a human & then they transfer you around (having to hold at least 20 minutes more each time). In my last 2 interactions with BOA, I spoke to12 people on the first one & 6 on the second.

I ran an ad on Craigslist to sell some items I wanted to sell. An interested buyer sent me a check for the asking price. I deposited the check into my checking account. The bank said give it 10 days to clear.

On the tenth day, I went to the bank to see if it cleared only to find out my checking and savings accounts had been closed, any money I had was to be sent to me at a later date. The customer service department could only tell me closing my accounts was a business decision, and that is all they know and all they could tell me.

My wife and II live in Citrus Heights, CA and I occasionally use the ATM located in the Woodmore Oaks Shopping center! Although it is handy, I have been frustrated by the spotty availability AND timeliness of service in the past.

Today I visited the ATM and was greeted not only by ANOTHER out f service notice, BUT ALSO A NOTICE SAYING THERE IS NOW A $3 SERVICE FEE!!! REALLY. WERE IS THE SERVICE HERE???

The only office open in Camarillo is poorly run with wait times exceeding 30 minutes in line while an assistant Mgr. Serves as a greeter at door. After being told to wait in lobby for non teller services another wait until I insisted from a service rep.

I recently deposited a local check via mobile deposit in the amount of $5,000 (July 6th) for which (unbeknownst to me) they placed a until July 12th!!!! Who even does that anymore? That is an excessive hold for a relatively small deposit for an over 20 year customer and they're not kidding anyone that it takes that long to clear a check.

they were just "delayed in processing" until the deposit cleared. I immediately called BOA customer service which is a joke. I went from "Cherie" to Mr. and then was getting transferred to another person when the line went dead. They had my number.

Bank of America destroyed a check I deposited in Simsbury Ct Main Street ATM. 8 May they said a form letter explaining would be sent to me to verify the check was destroyed. There upon the vendor would reissue the $12,400 check.

Why B of A is Losing a 40+ year Customer

After over 40 years of banking with Bank of America and millions of dollars of transactions, we are closing our account. The reason: The unhappy experiences at the Los Gatos branch.

It seems your bank optimizes policies for protection and convenience, resulting in a less and less satisfactory customer experience. At the same time, we hear over and over how much B of A cares about its customers.

Many times, we have gone into the bank to find ten people in the teller line, with one teller, yet many Financial Service people standing around.

99 charge on my VISA debit card. The claim # was 211220300139. 99. 99 purchase at PrinterPix. They were separate transactions for the same item. The purchase was completed on 12/06/2021 for picture Christmas cards. After about a week of not getting any update from PrinterPix about the order, I decided to cancel the order.

I cancelled online and received a confirmation of the cancellation. PrinterPix shipped the items even after I cancelled. The items arrived on December 24, 2021 in the afternoon. A little too late to send out to family and friends to receive by Christmas.

I opened my Accounts Overview and found the "new" format for listing debits and credits TERRIBLY ANNOYING. The apcing is spread out between entries in an junnecessary way. Worse, debits are in red, giving the impression. not of amounts spent, but rather of having a negative balance.

It is not easier to read, but much more difficult. I liked the compact list, easy to scan through, and red only used for a problem, not a regular transaction.

I have been a customer with Bank of American for 18 years and am a platinum member now. I have submitted multiple fraud claims and escalated them twice on a check fraud scam. Bank of america's customer service is so disjointed, no one talks to anyone, and they have provided the WORST customer service I have ever seen, which is saying a lot from a credible bank.

I was willing to close all of my accounts and walk after 18 years due to this poor service and NO ONE seemed to care. They just told me how to close out all my accounts. NEVER EVER EVER should anyone open an account with bank of america. They are the WORST.
