Once again I am unable to check my account I am unable to get a balance on anything. This happened right after the conversion to BMO seems like every week there's an issue we're going on week 2 now of not being able to check account and nobody from the customer service line can determine what the issue is or even those with the error messages I keep getting. This Bank should be shut down as they don't even know what the issue is beyond ridiculous.

00 missing from savings, 5000 missing from checking. Other bank drained. Was debanked on March 10 2022 by Deserea Vigil who didn't recognize me thereffore closed the account. She is way too familiar with Jack Wales who is another account holder at my household.

I was urged twice by one of the tellers at the San Bruno Ave. branch in San Francisco to open a new CD to get the higher interest rate. I went to the bank on two different occasions to do just that and was told there was NOBODY there that day that could help me with that.

On my third visit there were finally two people working the desks. I waited a half hour STANDING as there were no seats. When it was finally my turn the woman told me that she could open the CD but now she was UNAVAILABLE.

I would have to wait another half hour or so to see the other woman or go home and call to make an appointment. As I have a spine condition, standing for another half hour was not an option. I don't know what has happened but a couple of days ago we would log into the bank account and it would say no accounts are valid with bank of the west. I called all kinds of people noone could help.

Then I was able to get online and it said that the services on the account weren't working, the debit card was bad and the Account number was invalid. We pulled out money the next day. Noone was still able to tell us why

My old landlord stole my money order that was supposed to be my rent money, I had a police investigation going on and everything and bank of the west is refusing to reimburse me. They allowed the transaction to go through even though mY name was on the check.

The supervisor is aware that the check is fraudulent and I even have tons of proof that it was stolen. ber she even refused to write down anything g for me or give me any of my paperwork back. If you want to get away with check fraud.

Never get resolution either with supervisors or managers. Since your buyout, your customer service has declined precipitously. I ALWAYS FEEL UPSET AND FRUSTRATED. SPEND HOURS ON THE PHONE TO NO AVAIL. Get more and better trained reps, for goodness' sakes.

I closed checking with you because I couldn t stand the unwarranted charges and overdrafts based on your free checking protocols. Handling that was a nightmare. CLEAN UP YOUR ACT!!!!

Negative 5 if I could give it. No one over a span of maybe 5 years , has responded to my mother or my emails and visits to the bank and speaking to manages and corporate with how they handle their coogan account in which our local branch has no clue how to do anything with these accounts.

And bank depletes money from these coogan trust accounts which I believe is illegal. No one calls back or responds to emails.

We hold a Ban of the West credit card and have experienced a nightmare with the customer service on trying to get a relatively small amount of credit card fraud reversed. On my last statement I noticed 3 fraudulent charges. I did not charge anything at all during this April 2023 billing period.

The first charge for a scam gaming site was a fishing charge of 1.95 WHICH SHOULD HAVE IMMEDIATELY BEEN SEEN AND DENIED AS FRAUD. But of they let it go through. The person who did this then charged 99.50 to same site. Then another charge to another site of 199.50. I called the first 2 charges (listed no. of retailer) and they said they would not help with the transactions.

Reported to customer service Bank of the West. the woman I spoke with said they would open a case, trusted her and did not ask…

I have been trying to get a state to state title transfer since 3/21/2023 to date it has not happened. I’ve been told they did not have the necessary documents then told they did 5 different times. I’ve been to it had been sent 3 time then informed it had not.

The branch located in Bear Valley, Denver. CO I went to cash my Colorado State income tax refund check The lobby was closed so I went to the drive thru. A young girl Cleeste was the teller. I gave her the check, let her know that I wanted to pay the 20 overdraft on my debit card and she told me they wanted to hold my check for 2 days.

It's a state refund check 1st of all and so I asked for my check back. She was so rude, and I was upset at this time. So I got my check back went to Wells Fargo and called the manager when I got home.

He proceeded to tell me that I called her the "B" word , which that NEVER came out of my mouth. So not only did he not care about my issue as a customer, but totally disregarded her actions toward me.

My account was closed due to a situation where my money was stolen from my account. 2022 and I got hospitalized right after. I did 2 disputing transactions on my account early February 2023 due to all the personal things I had going on.

I’ve been going back and forth with the frauds department all February and never once did they say my account was being closed. I had a deposit come in February 23 and can’t access my money due to unprofessional customer service now I might be getting evicted from my home with my 2 children and my car was taken due to non payment because of this bank.

I have been waiting nearly a month for a new atm card.

First person I spoke to told me 7-10 business days. It was not sent out when I called again on 20 th. That is when supposedly sent out promised I would have before Xmas. Today 24th still no card. Call again oh should get next week. This inconvenience is inexcusable.

A gentleman named Jason Steinberg claimed to be calling from the Compliance dept. He gave me surprising news, over which I expressed alarm. He then audibly laughed at me (and confirmed he laughed at me and repeatedly spoke over me while I was speaking in a condescending and rude manner).

When I asked to speak to his supervisor, he pretended to happily oblige. He then came back on the line claiming his boss was "out sick" and would call me back. When I asked for his supervisor's name he bizarrely claimed he wasn't "allowed" to tell me their name.

He then hung up on me.

I recently acquired a Bank of the West Mastercard and was planning on making payments, etc. online as I do other credit cards. I went to the Bank of the West website to set up online access to the account and I was prompted to enter MY FULL SOCIAL SECUIRTY NUMBER.

Other sites only ask for the last four digits!!!!! I certainly will not put my full number on the website as per the advise of every financial institution I deal with as well as legal experts. What are you people thinking?

Appalling service from this bank. I ordered a credit card nearly 4 weeks ago and have not received anything. Numerous emails and calls to the bank relations manager Mandana Pirzadeh have amounted to nothing. Not replying to me or calling me back, I should not have to chase a business to deliver what it promises.

My joint account holder partner also hasn’t received a replacement card, since the last card was faulty. The list of incompetence is endless. I’m looking forward to speaking with someone who has a semblance of authority. Best regards Mr Nelson

I have contacted the Bank of the West numerous time since May 2022, the customer service is unacceptable, providing wrong information or refusing to address any concern.

I have a credit card with them and I requested a balance transfer on May 05, 2022. Bank of the West claims the payment was sent by a paper check (really paper check!), but the problem is the payment was never received by Citibank. I have asked for the full account number and a copy of the check, but Bank of the West just insist I have to contact Citibank, so they can look for the payment!

Of course, the amount is posted in my Bank of the West statement, and they denied my dispute or even a help providing a copy of the check. Not a reliable bank. I would not recommend it.

I have been a customer of this bank for decades, have many accounts at the bank and lately the bank is so often temporarily closed supposedly due to under-staffing that it is now not annoying but getting awful This is a memorial day weekend went today and yet again for 3rd time in a month it is closed for an hour.

Of course this was the hour I went there. I didn't want to have to go friday and with gas prices i shouldn't have to. Get your act together at this bank or my accounts are GONE

Opened a new account and attempted to wire money from another account to new account. Wire did not go through. Branch manager said it was a 'sweetheart scam' and said the bank was closing my account as fraudulent. My payroll is set up to be direct deposited in this account.

The account shows it is still open. I cannot get the branch manager to return my calls or emails. David Merg, Denver, CO. All I want to know is what the status of the account is so I can make other arrangements at another banking institution.

I called on 3/3/22 and waited on line for 1 hr and 45 min because my husbands debit card strip was not working all the time, plus he had tried to use it at an ATM and it blocked his card. After waiting that long a lady answered the phone who un blocked the card and said she would send a replacement and we would receive it in 10-14 days.

I called back 3/14 and the customer service rep insured me I should get it any time, this call I was on hold for 48 min before my call was answered. 00 but all I had to do was call back when I saw the charge and have it waived.

After the cutoff time of 4:30 pm, my account was suddenly negative, and the charge didn't went through. I called customer service and explained what happened, but was insulted and the manager named Jill was very rude to me. She did not even try to listen or try to do something with my situation.

I had to hang up because I was verbally insulted and felt so little. I ended up crying after the call.

The Bank of the West on Saddle Creek in Omaha Nebraska still does not have its lobby open and only ever has one drive-through open so the wait to even do a simple transaction is usually about 45 minutes. This is ridiculous hire more people and open the lobby or close this branch

BOW mailed me a brochure when I moved to my new place. It says I can deposit three months $1000 or more to get bonus. Then I personally talked with a branch manager in Fremont ( I remember) to confirm that I can get the $250 though not much by depositing from another bank.

Then after long four months passed and I went through my trouble, I did not get it. And I thought it was not much and I was busy, but does not hurt to ask. They say personal deposit does not qualify and the tone was like she did not care or respect customer. ". I hate this experience.

BOW reminds me of a bunch of kindergarten children playing bank. Service is non-existent, processing is impossible, answers to questions are simply answered with "I don't know" or call this number to which no one answers, clearly, no one really gives a damn,.

After closing my account, your still paying my automatic monthly bills??? If you do pay these bills, I will not reimburse you. You also continue to advertise that your a great bank. It just ain't so.. Now one other thing, when trying to fill out this complaint form is also a problem, it doesn't seem willing to accept the information.

It is impossible to reach anyone by phone. I have tried several different numbers. The shortest time I waited was 30 minutes. The longest and hour. I sent an email about my question and was told to call. I tried to call and hung up after a 40 minute wait.

IF I COULD GIVE THEM A MINUS ONE (-1) I WOULD. They say it's a cash back card, but they lie by omission since you can't get cash back until you reach a $25 amount. Then the ordering process is via an outside vendor which is a mess to complete and understand.

Back on July 1 went to make a payment on my car and found out it had been paid off since February, 2021. I did not know it was paid so kept making payments until Mar. 00 each month and a portion was going to principle.

I had several coupons left in my book so was not aware it was paid off. 00 that was overpaid and due me in July. It has been in the process for several months now. I have received some checks coming in here and there but now I cannot get the remaining that is due me.

In August 2020 I took out a loan for a used RV that I was purchasing. I received the loan and made the purchase of the 5th wheel trailer. I took the necessary steps to register the trailer with the California DMV, but was told that I had to wait to complete the registration until the title was sent to the DMV.

I notified Bank of the West and was told that they were waiting on Austin Federal Credit Union to send the title. Since that time, I have called Bank of the West seven times (12/09/20, 01/07/21, 05/03, 06/04, 07/22, 07/30, and 09/09) to find out the status of the title, but have been told that they do not have it.

we are a business with a lot of cash flow. We were at a smaller bank but did too much cash withdrawal for them to handle so we moved to a bigger bank, (so we though) we went in to the Bank of the West branch in Oakley, spoke with Carla about opening an account. We explained our needs to her, she ensured us the first 30 days we were subject to a hold, well after 30 days we still have 9 day holds on cashier's checks. cashier's checks are supposed to be the same as cash. The branch manager has made it her personal vendetta to make us doing business hard. She was really nice the first time we needed a check released after that she turned into Ursula.

And we are prior customers of your Bank. I was a contractor for 50 years until I retired. I learned never, ever do business with someone who has lied to you. I , after a period of time was, was given the loan/refinance, but I turned it down because of her lying to me.

This bank has continually added fees on top of fee. One time they called me, all other times they fee me knowing funds will be available. Weekly for years payroll has been deposited and they put charges on before they pay higher amounts then run a check multiple times adding more fees.

This practice is unacceptable by all customers and happens to often. What a bunch of crooks, very unethical.

When I was about to enter the Tigard Branch bank today, one of the employees who also has been very unfriendly and root to me on a ongoing basis, was standing at the inside door who could have opened it for me but instead walked over to his desk without saying hello or welcome or even a good bye when I left. My ex husband cashed an escrow check that was in both our names. He deposited it into his Bank of the West account. If this is in fact your acceptable policy I suggest you take a long hard look at being part of this behavior of what comes down to stealing. I was told by Jennifer Nunes that since the names were stacked that it a non issue because that's your policy. While $1200 (approximately my half) might seem like a small amount to you, it is a mortgage payment for me. I was informed by an outside source that even if this is your policy, it would NOT be common practice to allow the deposit into an account without both our names being on the account. Please forward me your policy in writing.
