I spilled 1-2 oz of water into my cupholder area of my car and it completely shorted out the electronics in my car. I almost didn't make it to the side of the highway as my car had stated, "goodbye" and shut off.

It then would not go into gear. We looked it up and there are >5000 complaints about the same design flaw and they will not honor or help fix it. I paid the $3000 to fix it and as I was driving it home from the repair shop, I heard 2 large pops that sounded like my tires blew.

I pulled over to the side of the road and as I tried to change gears it started grinding very loud. I once again got to sit on the side of the road waiting for a tow truck. They towed it back to the dealership where it was found the axle and wheel carrier were damaged.

I purchased a new car from BMW and something is wrong with the battery. I just returned from deployment took my car to service and they have to keep my car. I requested a rental and the Service Rep stated the best they could do was provide me an Uber.

After spending over 80k with a dealership then he had the nerves to say other dealers don't offer a rental. Yes, Mercedes Benz does and that's where I should have made my purchase. BMW service is rude and they don't care, just want your money.

iDrive8 debacle !

iDrive 8 is a complete failure on the 2024 X5 and bmw's lack of customer or dealer support should be an embarrassment to anyone that was involved with the software/ hardware approval/ release for production process.

The after sale support was RIDICULOUS! BEYOND POOR.... three different departments telling five different stories...ZERO concern for the danger created by the faulty OS that was provided for an $80K vehicle. We are incredibly disappointed in BMW.

I purchased a brand new 2023x4 at BMW of Greensboro North Carolina. I kept complaining in the beginning that I kept hearing a lot of wind noise coming through my passenger and driver side window salesperson kept telling me I've never heard of this before I said well you have now they got an engineer to come to the dealership took a test drive with me telling me this is normal.

I said BS to that I don't want the car, on Facebook there's a lot of complaints regarding the same issue a lot of people don't have this issue. A lot of people are stating that it's the trim around the sunroof that needs to be replaced and the issue was taken care of I think this is a major engineer problem when the car was built.

"Hi, I am an international student, and I have liked BMW since my childhood. When I came here, I bought a BMW from a dealership located in Chicago. Everything was very good, and the performance was excellent. After 3 months, I encountered an issue with the DRIVE TRAIN MALFUNCTION, and they changed the fuel pump to a higher level fuel pump, fixing it at the BMW showroom in Chicago.

However, after 6 days, the same issue resurfaced. So, I took my car to another BMW showroom located in Macomb Peoria, Illinois. After diagnosing the problem, they found that the issue was with the DRIVE TRAIN MALFUNCTION and a lower level fuel pump.

I lost the key to a newly purchased BMW. It must be replaced. Company "policy" requires that I appear twice at the dealership- once to identify myself personally and provide ownership documents, a second time some days later to pick up the key.

Appearing twice in person is an unreasonable imposition. I have been multiple times in recent months to the same dealership; I am known personally to their employess, and all the requisite documents they have on file. There are no concerns of security or others that cannot be mitigated in a way more conbvemnient to me.

Very few business transactions require my personal appearnce. This is an annoying"policy" of BMW. Policy is a term that can describe a uniform approach to customer indifference or contempt. This does not leave a friendly felling for…

I bought a BMW on 05/03/23, and paid for Vehicle License Fees and Registration, but BMW Fremont, California Financial Department did not repass it to DMV and now I have been charged fines from DMV. Surprisingly, BMW Fremont is not willing to get it solved. They want me to go to DMV and pay it. The Finance Manager Bryan Santana. this individual at BMW of MT Kisco let me to believe that in order to get a credit application approve by Chase Bank, I had to purchase a dealer warranty from BMW for a 2022 X5, with 12K miles even if the vehicle steel had warranty.

I purchased my first BMW X2 in Richmond VA on West Broad St on a Sunday April 30th. I wasn't expecting to get a BMW but I decided against my better judgement. I usually purchase with Lexus or Acura which all have had better customer service than i have experienced thus far with BMW.

Today May 26 2023 less than 30 days of me having this vehicle, I received a notification that my tire was loosing air on the back left tire. I contacted the dealership and they told me they had the tire in stock and will replace the tire.

Once I arrived I asked would they be taking care of the cost of the tire since i have had this car LESS THAN 30 DAYS . The service tech who was very nice advised me that he will check with the manager.

G. Burton in Milford Delaware. At the time of purchase I specifically asked the salesman about a loaner car if I ever have to bring it in for service. As I'm an active person, I do not ever want to be without transportation.

He assured me that if it needs to be left at the dealer for service, a loaner will be made available to me. This was my first venture into any foreign car in my life, I'm 68 and have owned over 15 vehicles.

At first it seemed like a decent vehicle, no great shakes, not a lot different than a Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit, which I am accustomed to. Over the last 15 years I purchase a new car every 2 years, so I'm accustomed to newer cars.

On 12/02/2022 I purchased a 2017 BMW X3 from Car Max. On 01/18/2023 I took the vehicle back to Car Max and explained to them that I heard a rattling noise coming from the right rear of the SUV. I was told that is was the rear seat and then I was told that that there was a cover under the car that was put on incorrectly and that it wasn't the seat.

After being checked out I was told that the rattling was coming from the transmission cover that was flipped upside down. I then questioned IF you guys sold me a used car how was that missed?? I was under the impression that before used cars are sold that they our thoroughly inspected.

My 2015 X5 keeps leaking oil and requires 2 quarts to be added almost every 2 weeks. The drive train keeps malfunctioning and BMW of Mobile has serviced it several times since 12/21 but the problem has not been fixed!

They have replaced the oil pans, and done several other service repairs that have totaled several thousands of dollars! I did research and saw there is an 125,000 mile extended warranty/ class action law suit for a recall on this issue with the oil leaks, but I was NEVER advised of this, until I mentioned it!

Randy Zeigler the BMW Service Manager at BMW of Mobile has now become RUDE because my husband has told him we are tired of having to keep bring the car back & I’m also losing hours from work, plus they keep my vehicle for 3-4 weeks and the issue IS NOT FIXED!

I took my x7 to the service department of BMW of north Austin for a problem in lane departure sensor. After they fixed it and gave it back to me an sos malfunction appeared right away. I called back and they scheduled another appointment a month later.

I took it back and a week later they called and told me it was a small easy fix. I took it back and the same message appeared after I drove it a couple of a miles . I called again and they scheduled another appointment.

The warranty was expired by the time I took it back. Although I bought the extended warranty from BMW they said it is not covered due to a water leek in the Antenna cover and charged me a diagnostic fee.

I’m the owner of a 2015 BMW 528i and I’ve recently took my car to the shop to address a drive train warning and an issue with a fluctuating headlight. First, I’m charged almost $200 for each diagnostic that required the technician to plug in an OEM meter and read the output. (I paid the fee).

The estimate for the resulting work was almost $7000 over the cost of the diagnostic (replace the turbo charger and replace the headlight housing). This in my opinion is ridiculous. Neither of these issues should occur as part of normal ware and teat on the care. This car has approximately 150,000 miles primarily highway driving, which includes daily drive to work. It’s never been in an accident or had any kinetic issues that would cause jarring or over vibration that would lead to this kind of issue…

My 2011 BMW X3 has been serviced by Leith ever since I bought it. A few months ago I brought the car in for a noice coming from the engine, I was told it was pulley. They changed the pulley.

Upon retrieving the car, I heard the same noice and immediately made another appointment. This time I was told it was a valve inside the oil pan underneath the car. I replaced it. A couple of days later a message popped up " drive train malfunction", again I immediately made a service appointment.

Before my appointment date a noice prompted me to call my service representative. I took my car in and this time was told the engine was no good. Other than the issues mentioned above, Leith BMW has been the only place I've serviced my X3 and other BMW.

So I went to BMW of Idaho Falls ID, test drive a X3 absolutely loved the car and we started talking numbers and the sales manager was completely rude and disrespectful. The sales man Alex was great but that sales manager would not give me a final price because I was still car shopping and said if BMW is not number why but if I decided to go to with X3 then we could talk kinda sarcastic and just rude.

brought my car in to get an oil change as part of the 3 oil change package promotion. Set an appointment at 12 and a lyft was provided to my house and scheduled for one back due to service being told the completion time was 2 hrs and 45 minutes. No problem.

However i waited until almost 4 and still no contact from my service advisor including via text that went unanswered. I contacted the dealership and waited about 15 mins to speak to someone. Avoid iX40 BMW ❌❌❌❌❌ 1- Has many electric faults 2- No spare parts or diagnostic available in Dubai 3- Extremely poor after sale service from AGMC branch at Dubai, Sheikh Zayer road. No exchange or refund policy if your product has a 100% manufacture fault.

My car is only two months old, been at their service and body workshop for the last month. Nobody knows what’s happening!!

If you think EV, go for Audi or Mercedes or Porsche. You can also get a very cheap VW from duty free.

I lease a new BMW X7. I recently moved to a new state and in order to get new plates for the car, the DMV must receive proof of lease/title from BMW. I have had to spend 2 trips to the DMV plus additional hours on the phone trying to get BMW to help get this settled.

They lost my form I mailed to them but then have said they can't email me the form because they can't. I am stuck. They have the worst customer service I have ever experienced with a luxury automobile. So now I am waiting for another copy in the mail and need to start over.

Dear Sir, In the middle of January 2023 , I had sent my BMW 330i (VDY9292)for repairs. BMW ingress dealer said the engine mounting needs to be replaced. They said that they have ordered the parts but till today the parts have not arrived more than month after the ordering the parts.

I was told by the dealer as well as BMW Malaysia that the parts have not arrived from Germany. I have made complains to BMW Malaysia (CAS-14013-T3D4Q7)but to date they are unable to provide me any information on when my car will be ready.

They are blaming BMW Germany for the delay. If BMW Germany cannot support the local BMW dealership than it should inform the customers as we can then make a decision to buy other premium brands who have support from their parent company.

I recently had my vehicle in for service yesterday at Ferman BMW. I was due for an oil change and a system update recall. . I told my service manager Sal that a dashboard notice was displaying indicating an emergency call malfunction.

He told me it might be the battery and I signed a form indicating the approximate cost of the service would be $250.

I received an email from Sal indicating the battery.needed to be replaced for over $1,000! Majority of bill was 4.5 hours of labor ar $189 / hour! I denied the service and asked for it to be disconnected. I was told this could not be done!

I purchased a BMW based on the quality of the brand and the expected high level of customer experience.

The Finance Dept of BMW is simply awful.

They cashed my buyout check for my vehicle TWO MONTHS ago and have yet to provide me with a title. This is shameful and unacceptable.

The lost the odometer disclosure form (the cashed the actual check just fine, which was attached to that very form...) and then did not notify me for two months. They refused to expedite paperwork regardless and in my state there are personal property tax issues at transfer.

BMW Management, are you listening? This department needs an overhaul....

I bought a 2019 BMW X5 about 2 yrs ago and i start having a problem with my Driver Assistance System. Every time i start the car i get that message and also one time i tried to use the system, my car got damage from the left rear quarter panel.

I am a very busy person and i really Never had the time to take the car to the shop. When i purchased the car, the Sales Manager from Hendrick’s Motors persuaded me to buy A very expensive Platinum Service Contract from the dealership.

I have a 2014 BMW 528i, 85,000 miles.

I have severe water condensation inside both front headlights to the point that I’m have multiple headlight messages/warnings displayed on my screen (adaptive headlight malfunction, aim control, front left and right headlight malfunction)., The headlights are not cracked or physically damaged that I can tell.

At my repair shop, I’m told this is a common issue with this model/year BMW.

My questions: 1. Is this a common issue? 2. What does BMW recommend to fix this problem short of a hugely expensive headlights (2) replacement job? (I have tried to fry pot the headlight compartment using a hair blow dryer. It worked for a day or so but the condensation quickly returned. 3. Is their a recall or service announcement on this issue.

I purchased my vehicle at lease-end at the end of October. On 11/21, I received an email notification that my license plates had arrived at the dealership (San Antonio). I had the option to have them mailed to me and I provided the correct address to make it easy for them.

The next day I was informed via email that they would be emailed later on the morning of 11/22. 50. I call the dealership to see if they had mailed the plates. I could not get through to anyone at the Genius Desk.

I emailed the person (Erick) who emailed me to see if he mailed them. No response. I text my sales advisor, Ramone, who lets me know via text and phone call that the plates were mailed, as well as the windshield sticker.

I am BMW Regular Customer & using 330i, i have been treated very badly from your side , in BMW Authorize Service station. My car was taken to service center while Pickup / Dropping or in Test ride from their staff, The car Front Driver side tyre is Damage they agreed & took that back to ask for replacement, But the service manager call us & told if the car is damaged in their premises or in transit etc. we will not bare any cost you have to pay.

Sir we can't think that car is in safe hand's & we will get back as it is , As we handovers car they take all surrounding photo's then what is meaning for that.

If local service center also take car for service and it's damaged they apologise & make car as…

I purchased warranty on tire and wheels and this dealer service gentlemen Javier at Long beach BMW is avoiding my calls. I have attempted numerous times reaching out. I have had the phone hung up on me numerous times for no reason.

Place me on hold then shut the phone. a warranty is a service purchased and should be respected by all dealers. This dealer is the most ridiculous incompetent outrages service. This will not be the last review I make. And I will make sure to report this to the BBB and other services.

Closed End Lease Account number 4003420918

I was able to sell by 2020 BMW M340i to a dealer and realize considerable positive equity. BMW financial was paid in full. BMW financial then proceeded to send me a bill for $350.00 for the vehicle return fee -- quoting me chapter and verse from the lease agreement indicating that they were still owed this fee even though they performed no work, no inspection -- nothing. I have run into this situation with Land Rover, Ford, Honda, to name a few and they were all smart enough to waive the fee. BMW's approach is not to empower there CSRs to handle this, but instead to force customers into a dispute with their lawyers (not worth my time). Bought a new BMW X5 in September 2021 in WA. and front drivers seat started loosing color/finish around 7,500 miles. At our first service around the 12,500 mark I asked the dealer to take a look, response was yes it's loosing finish and looks poor but it's not under warranty.

Offered up a couple detailers that could possible add some finish to the worn areas at my expense but I declined. Just left another dealership in AZ. probably not a stain then? probably my last BMW since there are lots of other brands available.

Good afternoon, I bought BMW6 model 2015 from Abudhabi motors UAE(united arab Emirates) and it’s now 120 k kilometers. I’m a doctor and my usage of the car is very light(gentle). During these 6 years i faced a lot of problems in the car from the first few months of usage and you can check service records.

I‘ve before Lexus, infinity fx35 and never faced such problems in such short duration despite i do all services in Abudhabi motors(agency). Is it logic for a top rated german car to have these major problems in such short duration?

X5 50i engine blown(per BMW Catonsville). Current mileage 112,000. Dealership can not find the reason for the issue and all they came up with is “you need a new engine”. I understand there are recalls for the 50i engine oil leak.

I bought a car 1.5 years ago for 40k with an existing accident. Now the same car they tell at the same Bridgeport BMW agency that they ll take it for 20k because of that same accident.
