complaint is regarding customer service at Shoe Department at Erie Local Boscov's store. 18th2023 at 9:15 ET sales person Lou /she didn't have store ID on her, but I think I spelled name right/, couldn't assist me with return, order #62116279 complaining she can't find my credit card in Boscov's system!?......

She asked me few times to show the receipt, I did. She told me multiple times to enter my cc to all Boscovs machines on twp ends of the desk. I did.

Finally she created a line of people behind and said she can't credit my card! I have never in my life experienced such non existent customer service for a store selling shoes because of seller Lou! Well, finally I found real customer service associate at Man's clothing department and she credited my credit card within a minute. I…

On the 11 of Aug 2023 when my Wife a Black woman!!!!! went shopping there, as she was leaving the store 2 White guys from the store security stopped her in the parking lot and accused her of stealing merchandise!!!!! Which she had not!!!!!!

While in the store all she bought was 2 pair of stockings which she paid for at the cashier before she left the store. When she asked to see the one who had mistakenly Accused her of stealing, they would not let her confront her Accuser to ask why they thought she had stolen merchandise in the first place!!!!!

So because of what happened to her at the Boscov’s store at the Colonie center in Albany NY, she’s going to tell all her Black friends what happened and not to shop there!!!!!! She is also going to bring back the 2 pair of stockings she bought…

Just heads up on your store at Ocean County, NJ mall. Went there yesterday, Sunday. Never saw this store in such a mess. Near empty clothing racks, clothing on the floor, a mess! What happened? Usually well kept. Hope this is one time occurrence since I love Boscovs and would miss shopping there.

Also, very limited registers open, this should be corrected. Please make this store a nice place to shop again!!

Placed an order December 19, 2022, said order was delivered December 20, 2022. I had a family emergency and was out of town until December 23, 2022. Upon my return my package and my green utility bucket were gone. I immediately notified Boscov's in December 23, 2022.

They asked me if the picture that Fed Ex took was my porch, I said yes because it was. 39. Boscov's never told me to contact the police for a report. It was Christmas time, everyone was having packages stolen.

I usually do not complain about things but today I purchased some items for my son and I noticed that I didn’t get any savings at all even though signs were up showing 25% off . I used my Boscov’s card and still didn’t get any savings.

50 for men’s tshirts and men’s underwear. So I went back to Boscovs at Christiana DE and the men’s department store manager really didn’t help he only said that it was rung up correctly. I could have just returned everything back in and got credit but at this point I just would like to pay off on my card and just shop elsewhere.

My son didn’t get good vibes from this store as well y but just tell your associates to treat everyone with kindness. Thank you

On 12/9 22 I ordered a pair of prescription glasses. 9th. 2023. Which you can go back for review. We finally were contacted by Tamera (267 259 7452) a Manager by phone on 2/21/23. I explained what had happened and she dismissed what I had said to her.

She said that the new lenses were made with a incorrect prescription. All three pairs were made with the original correct prescription. 00, the cost to have the prescription checked, which the store manager had told us to do, and wasn't necessary.

Me and my husband had placed calls to Tamara on the 21st of February and she hasn't returned our calls. Since Boscov's has been negligent in handling this matter I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business . Bureau.

On several occasions , I have been in the jewelry and perfume area and more then once i noticed a Saleswoman that I would describe as about 60 , short, stocky with gray hair , who seems to be a long time employee or supervisor. She always has a disturbed look on Her face like You better not bother Her , very unfriendly , never smiles or chats in a friendly manner.

She gives off an air that says , Stay away from Me. I also heard Her make an unfriendly comment about another employee. I don't expect You to take My word , all you have to do is observe the employees in that area and You will pick Her out in 2 minutes.

We purchased a recliner couch on 11/20/22 from the Camp Hill Boscov's store. It was delivered on 12/01/2022. I noticed the first time I used it that the recliners were hard to close, the right side was impossible to close without extreme force, I gave it a couple of weeks to see if it would loosen up but

it never did, during that time we looked at the under side and took some pictures. So I finally went back to the store to talk to the person who sold it to me and he wouldn't even look at my pictures or video of me trying to close the recliner.

Went at 9:40 to purchase gift towels. The sales associate was talking to a gentleman while I was shopping for towels(not at a register) I carried 4 towels in my arms and walked toward the register. The woman was in the area the whole time and when I wanted to pay she was not anywhere around.

I saw another woman and asked were can I check out? She said right there. I said no one is here. She said with an attitude “I will come over there” I felt like walking out but I shop at Boscov’s quite often and I wanted these towels. She was NOT FRIENDLY.

This is not the first sales associate that was unfriendly.. my daughter and I both experienced this last week in York, with 2 different associates. We went shopping Thursday at Park City, Lancaster and the whole experience was VERY PLEASANT.

Your associates are very unpleasant and not helpful at all. I was told in the Easton location that I could check out at the candy register and then I get there and the lady behind the counter was snippy like she didn’t even want to help me or ring me up.

What ever happened to good customer service? Would be better off just having self checkout instead of grumpy disgruntled employees

I have been a loyal Boscov's customer for many years.. On rare occasions I have been late with my bill (very few times). The first time, this year, was due to the late mail deliveries because of the pandemic.. This time, I had Covid..

and, although I did pay my bill of $29, it was late. I tried to call Comenity Bank, but never got to speak with anyone, because at a certain point in the call, I was cut off. So, I drove a half hour to the Bostov's store in Plymouth Meeting, Pa..

I bought a chair in February it was a Catnapper reclining chair with heat and massage. I paid $986 for this chair one month later in March it broke the chair fell to the right and list to the right I called up and made a complaint and

I have yet to have the chair repaired they told me it would come under warranty and that the parts would be forthcoming that was August the 12th it's now October the 12th and I have not received parts or satisfaction or repair.

Went to Boscov in Niles Ohio. Was looking at recliners in furniture department. This store had only 1 sales person and he only catered to couples. I asked him if there was a boscov flier because I needed to verify the chair I was looking for.

I went to the Newark de location at approximately 10-1030 am. I was in the home (linen) or bath and bedding section when I encountered Beverly . My initial encounter was when she pushed pass me when someone called her to the register to ring a customer up .

My second encounter was when I was ready to check out . I found a set of tea towels and it unfortunately was one of many of that style that did not have tag, my nephew and I checked through several but none of that style had a tag to scan .

I was at the Boscov's in Milford Ct on Monday 9/5/2022. 99 each. 00 each. The girl at the register said there was nothing that she could do. I went back to the rack where I had gotten the shirt, took pictures and went back to the register.

She said that there was still nothing that she could do. 99 but said that it was a mistake. She asked another associate to take all of the shirts off of the rack and that a manager would have to fix it the next day when they come in.

I felt like I was so insignificant. No we're sorry, no we apologies for the inconvenience. Unless I hear back from somebody soon, I won't be coming back. This is unacceptable.

We ordered furniture 2 identical couches in Jan. Waited until June which we expected. Delivery set up for June 8, my birthday. Delivery team said 8am, arrived at 1pm. Said furniture wasn’t in truck we called and spoke with Mr Juan Castillo at warehouse.

He said he personally loaded it and it was there. The two delivery men looked again, pulled a small chair off and tried to give me that. Then they said they found the 2 couches after we heard arguing and a lot of loud sounds from throwing furniture.

One of our couches was destroyed. Big hole in top corner and frame was twisted. At this point im really upset because we have house with empty living room and company coming for dinner at 5 for my birthday. We are told we can take display if WE drive to get it and have new one sent.

Ordered furniture from Wyomissing store to be delivered on Friday March 31st.

SPECIFICALLY told sales person to make sure furniture was delivered AFTER 11am as I work that day. Was just told that furniture was coming BEFORE 11am. The sales person as well as the delivery department were unwilling to work with me and deliver my furniture, that was paid-in-full, after 11am and just told me to be there and just return to work.

I work an hour from home. This has been the WORST customer service experience I have EVER encountered.

2 Ornaments missing from a Dec 13th visit. Total for both was $7. I sought help on Dec 16th to have them replaced. Finding employees is near impossible. I approached the only employee i saw, "Shannon" who worked the candy counter. She found her Mgr.

I explained it to him, his response was who was the cashier, what dept was the register in. I told him I don't know the cashier, usually only one floating on each floor. He said it wasn't his job to know the cashier. It certainly wasn't mine!

I did not receive my monthly statement when I called customer service number was hung up on two times. My third attempt someone named Dennis help me.

First let me say I have been a boscovs customer for years always paid my bill on time love the associates in the Clifton park store. Dennis was kind removed late charge I paid over the phone entire bill. Not sure if it is the US mail not delivering or if boscov accounting people not sending out bills, especially after being hung up on two times.

I have a hearing problem and did have a problem understanding representative so I had to ask them more then once to repeat. I love Boscov’s, it’s the delivery company you use that I have an issue with and keep getting the run around from you and them. FedEx driver caused property damage while making a delivery to my home last March and I’ve been trying to collect from them ever since.

My name is Paulette Ball, a long time Boscov's customer. I have enjoyed shopping at Boscov's in New Jersey and Maryland. My problem deals with a serious problem that occurred with my Boscov's credit card. I received my Boscov's March statement whiich indicated my payment for February was received 1 day late.

Each and every month I pay off my entire Boscov's balance so that I do not incur interest on my account. 38 interest. My February payment (check #4499 dated Jan. 21st was mailed on Jan. 22nd at the Bel Air, Maryland post office).

We purchased a Lazy Boy recliner loveseat in the fall of 2019. 00 to have it delivered. The delivery people were clearly unexperienced and damage to the loveseat handle as well as our home resulted. I contacted Boscov's and a claim was generated.

The loveseat handle has been repaired. Since then I have spoken with Boscov's several times regarding the damage to our home. Then I was contacted by a gentleman by the name of Hutch who told me I would receive a check to cover the damage to our home.

I last texted with Hutch almost a month ago when he told me he was in touch with the delivery company and I would receive the check. That was nearly a month ago and I contacted him by text again today.

Today 11/15/19 I went to Boscoves at Granite run store to buy a pair of mens sneakers. I could not find anyone in the mens shoe Dept for some help and the area just seemed to be in utter confusion, there was know one on the floor for help.

I went to another Dept. and asked why thery didnt have help so the woman tried to help me by asking the shoe dept to assist me, it didnt happen, I never saw such confusion in a store as today.

My sister and I stopped in on Sunday afternoon. Went to the makeup counter and I needed to get foundation and some Clinique face cream. There was a female, black, heavy set lady working your counter. I asked for help and was told very rudely, wait!!!

I bought a couch at the Palmer Park Mall Boscov's in September 2018. The motor has already died mid-recline on the one side. I filed a complaint with Guardian since I paid extra for their coverage, and they have not rushed to review anything.

Being tired of waiting for anything to be done - can not sit on this side of the couch comfortably - I called the store. The furniture dept. told me to call Corporate, since this motor failed within the manufacturer's 1 year defect warranty.

But Corporate told me to just wait for Guardian. I bought this couch from Boscov's because of their good reputation, but the way everyone is passing me along from person to person without addressing the issue is making me question if Boscov's stands behind their products.

We bought an outdoor furniture set with a love seat, table, and two side chairs in brown wicker. We purchased this set February 26,2017.. It has started to break apart and looks terrible. We cover it during the winter months.

It was fine last year but now it continues to fall apart. We would like at have a refund or replaced. After spending $600 for the set it should stand up for more than 2 years since it was covered.

Your people at the York store told us to contact the manufacturer in China. Good luck with that! My phone number is 410-292-9609. I've already told the store personal that if something is not resolved, I will not shop at Boscov's any more.

M. while shopping at the Boscovs in Woodbridge. Nj on the 2nd floor, my wife cell phone was stolen from her pocketbook that was in the shopping cart. We immediately reported this theft to the 2nd floor cashier by the mall.

I stopped in your York PA store today, as I had a reward certificate to use that expired today. I really did not see anything that I felt I had to have today but since my certificate was expiring decided to try and use it since in the past I have had certificates that I did not use. 98. 00.

31 cents I could not believe that the women insisted I had to use my Boscov's charge. I understand you have a policy that states your credit card must be used with those rewards, however I would surely think that 31 cents could be an exception especially since it cost more to produce a bill than 31 cents.

My customer service experience today April 23rd at your Egg Harbor Township New Jersey location. This afternoon I was at the Bed and Bath department to return items and to make a purchase. My interaction with the sales associate Eva was uncomfortable because her demeanor was cold and rude.

She was unfriendly not helpful, making sounds under her breath indicating to me her feelings of frustration. I walked away feeling sad for the way I was treated in your store.

The item I was looking for was available showing 4 items at this store however the clerk would not go check sizes . In Albany store woman's department. I love shopping at Boscovs did not like like that this lazy person would not help us today. Thank You.

Tina Cellus or Sellis in the infant Department, the cashier, would not assist us with a deal going on in the store today only. Instead she asked me to step aside instead of assisting us and calling a manager to get the approval to do the right thing.

I refused to step aside since I was first in line and just decided to get the items I really needed which are going to be returned due to this terrible service today. A manager was finally called when I was leaving the register after asking for the employee's name.

I asked for a manager in the beginning and she told me she was the manager, she should have called for help in the beginning and she was unable to help assist the customer. This issue should not be taken lightly and additional coaching is required for Tia!

I purchased an Enzo Angiolini in your purse Department Sept of 2018. Used the beautiful purse for 3 weeks and the screw holding the handles together fell out. I took the purse back to the store I purchased it from and was replaced no problem.

Well, today January 26, 2019 again the screw fell out, I longer have the original receipt. I tried to get on the web site of this company to complain, but the only site that comes available are sites to purchase.

00 for a item it should last more than a few months. I will NEVER purchase an expensive purse again from your store. Patty
