Been trying to get our phone service turned on at our new residence for over 2 months now, they turned off phone at old residence and then texted us that their truck had broke down and they couldn't finish what they had promised us to do (turn on our new landline service!), so now it is another month (soonest they could help us) and our job ticket says "move internet", we have never had internet service! Can we please for the love of God get our old phone number and phone turned on!

Having suffered a phone and internet outage on Christmas day, on the 26th I texted an online rep at CenturyLink who scheduled a technician to visit our home on 12/29. Subsequent emails (which by prior agreement should have been sent via text to my cell) confirmed on 12/28, "tomorrow", and on 12/29, "between 2:30 and 6:30." This required significant rearrangement of my schedule, but I figured since CenturyLink was being as specific as they could in their scheduling, I would accommodate them.

I have been with Century Link for years, I have always paid on time, recently I have been paying on the Century Link Quick pay, twice now in the last 4 mos. I have paid my bill before it's due and 5 days later I receive a letter telling me I am past due, last month they added a late fee.

I call for service and I am forced to deal with a bot, they have set customers up so it's almost impossible to talk to talk to a human being! My internet service goes off and on all day, when I trying to make a transaction.

I live in a rural area and paid CenturyLink years ago to install their lines so we could have internet. This is a ranch and we took over working the ranch so for about 5 years we have not had service out here because we were not living here.

Anyway we put in to reactivate service. The tech comes out to activate service and I am told some company cut the line and if I want service I’ll have to pay $1400 to have a new line installed because some company cut the line on the right of way.

So I go as high up as I can talking to so called customer service after 7 hours and 5 disconnected calls I finally get to what they call the back office who says if I don’t want to pay for the charged I have to file. Okay on Aug 19th (saturday) I called to get my phone fixed as it was not working correctly. The person I talked to apologized that he couldnt have anyone out to repair the problem until Monday August 21, 2023 after he had tried many things to fix the problems on his end.

I was fine and even happy that it was going to happen then so I had no problem waiting till Monday. Was told that a tech would be there between 8-5 and they would call/text before they arrived (I work 10 minutes from home so I could get there quickly).

We have been trying for 2 months to have our 95 year old mother with dementia phone fixed. It was determined that the problem was with a ring card in an equipment box out on the street. I have spent many hours with technicians who have promised the issue would be fixed and have spent many hours on the chat forum guaranteeing me the issue would be fixed.

We have had over 10 appointments and each one has been missed. please reschedule. These appointments have been marked as medical emergency and supposedly escalated 2 or more times. We have sometimes had to wait 2 weeks between rescheduling. I just don't understand what is going on.

some sort of failure occurred on the telephone pole that killed the fiber feeding our telephone line and internet sevice. this was two weeks ago. in addition to some of the most obfuscating online automation thus encountered to date after 5 visits by them (including a contractor to Centurylink as well as a couple of unprepared and

We lost two modems in the space of a month due to lightning. The second time, I called customer tech support and because my daughter runs a business out if the home , we needed the modem overnighted. I paid $21+ for the overnight service, but didn't receive it for two days.

Then the new modem they sent decided not to work, it was the old black one and not the new white one, so I called in again. I told them that I wanted it overnighter, but I wasn't paying due to the last one taking 2 days.

They checked and said they would send overnight, would be there the next morning. Nope, I'm writing this Sunday night after calling Friday and no modem. My daughter had to pay extra for a hot spot so she could run her business.

I have over the past 2 monthes try'd and try'd to get service from your company, without getting any service. After you have raised monthly rates from, 50 to 65 dollars, I have been unable to pay. So I cancelled your service. I have phoned many times before I cancelled service to get it 50 or under, to no avail. Since then and recently, I've try'd to get ACP from your people, again to no avail. What I've experienced is: Customer Service that has no idea how to help, lies directly when they dont know or just lies, argue directly with me for no reason, try to treat me as i'm stupid, or under educated. 7/25/23 We haven't had landline service in three days. I waited all day at home to find out my appointment for repair had been cancelled and that I will have to wait a WEEK to have it repaired --- on 8/1/23.

How far will this NEW date be pushed forward, I wonder? This is unacceptable especially without reasonable explanation. Endless time on the cell phone and endless chats get us NO answers as to what is happening. The inability to reach a real person with real knowledge appears impossible.

Century Link (CL) never switched their wires over to the new pole after Seattle City Lights informed them to do so many months ago. Consequently, my wire sagged into my yard and bamboo and was severed. m. that same day. None came.

Now I must be without internet from 7/17/2023 until 7/22/2023 (if indeed they arrive on 7/22) all because they were remiss on their end and didn't switch over the wire. This is too long a wait time for CL negligence.

Also, the representative lied, in particular, Dex, #AD19827. I want to be reimbursed for these 6 days without internet at the very least.

My internet service went down due to a storm - my modem and phone line were fried - found this out when I logged into my centurylink account for them to do a modem checked. And I was on the phone for hours with several reps.

I was given an appointment for July 18, 2023 between 8a and 5p. But no one showed up or called to reschedule. I missed a very important therapy appointment because of this!! I am a senior citizen and total and permanent disabled Veteran so I go to therapy several times a week!!

But due to centurylink's lack of care for their customers, I am in more pain now since I did not attend my therapy!!!! I was on the chat stie with different reps for over 5 hours trying to get them to send a tech to fix my line and modem.

I schedule an install a week in advance. I requested any day they could give me a morning installation time and all they could do was say sometime between 8 & 5. I had no choice and scheduled for 7/18.

I received muti texts and emails confirming the date. Received a text message at 7:46 on 7/18 and email stating the installation would occur between 11 & 3. At 1:23 pm I receive a text " "We confirm that your activation date is now on Friday 0721.

" No phone call no indication that installation date was being changed. No apology just arrogance. If this is how they treat new customers who have paid in advance for services imagine how they treat customers who already have service installed.

Phone and internet have been out since June 14th. Technician arrived June 22 first I could get him could not fix the problem. Said my line had been nicked by a contractor and he couldn't fix it. Now I am told the next technician won't be here until July 5.

Have tried 3 days in a row to contact CenturyLink and use their automated system which after I put in a request they say they're processing it I never get an answer wait hours on hours and hours no answer ever for 3 days in a row.

over the last 12 month I have lost service over 16 time for a total of 132 days. It has been down now for 26 days and they still have not fixed my internet or house phone. They keep push repair time out a week at a time.

They are poor customer service and it takes hour to get someone on the phone. They say they are working on the problem, but there is no one in the area working on the issue. They are a terrible company and I wish some other company would buy them out and fire all the employees.

A rating of 1 is way to high for them.

I finally received my mail after having filed for mail to be forwarded but there had been many problems during cocid with mail services across the country and it had taken quite some time in mail beginning to come to the new address.

Four years ago I had CenturyLink and I was happy. But then CenturyLink added a completely different houses services on my account and I called to get it fixed and they gave pushback even blaming g me saying I needed two step security when I had it.

Anyways I asked for a manager to call none did and I just stopped using their service. No one ever fixed it and I have a collection notice for century link that I got today . I will gladly go to court and allow century link to explain why they made the issue and why they refused to fix this issue but I will never be a customer of CenturyLink or any of their companies

There have been several downed wires in my neighborhood for weeks, and my neighbor asked me to call them in, so I have called Xcel and received no response stating that they are safe and non-electrical. I called the city, because I almost walked into one while cleaning up my alley the other day and urged them to do something about it soon, citing the dangers of downed electrical wires.

" I felt that was extremely rude. I had no way of knowing they weren't hazardous. Yes, I live in a disinvested community. Just because some of my neighbors throw trash in my alley doesn't mean I deserve to live in fear of being electrocuted every time I take my garbage out.

They have not only cancelled an appointment that we were NOT TOLD was cancelled, HUNG UP on my husband while he was trying to communicate about our lack of internet, and our experience with one of the technicians recently was uncalled for and completely rude.

My husband and I had our internet DISCONNECTED by this said technician and when we asked our neighbor to kindly as if they could re-plug in our fiber, the technician said, "I can't help them". RE: Account 311294325: Telephone service had not been working for a month at least by or on 3/24 so telephone and fax line were terminated upon my request. I asked that internet be continued but that was cut off as well. They cancelled the payment due on 3/17 because I had no telephone service. However, once cancellation order #1622759612 was placed on 3/27 again, I received notice that account would not be closed until April 24 and I owed $146.89 by 4/17. Again, on 3/24 my internet service was cut off and my phones had not been working for 2 months. So I respectfully disagree that I owe Century Link any more payments.

First it took 2 visits to get me up and not! going! 00 dollars for them to do it, I still don't have working service only partial service till Monday! Why? Its been 6 months since Hurricane IAN knocked down my power pole LCEC had a new pole up in just a few days. Your phone lines are still lying on the ground in my back yard. A tech said there is still power in them.

I don't know if they pose a danger to people and animals. I would think you would want to do something about them. I got sick of waiting for you to do something about my phone and canceled my service.

Our ancient copper telephone line intermittently worked for months and completely stopped working in October 2022. We notified Century Link (CL) of this issue. CL sent out various techs over the last 6 months to try and resolve the issue. The best solution according to the techs was to switch the line to fiber (we have been a CL gigabit customer for years) so we agreed. CL proceeded with the switch and the issue was resolved in February 2023.

But NO ONE informed us that we would no longer receive local long distance until my wife attempted a local long distance phone call! She contacted CL and the rep told us that if we pay $15/month we could have unlimited local long distance!

I live in a city, but you wouldn't know it by CenturyLink's poor service. Internet regularly goes out and is out for extended time. Last time was 2 weeks and I had to contact them three times for a credit.

over and over and over again. They also offer no backups if internet goes down, such as hotspot access. If it's the end of a month and you have online bill payments coming up or you work from home, you're just screwed.

CenturyLink needs to evolve for the 22st century and do better keeping up with maintenance so internet doesn't go down every couple of weeks. I stayed for their locked in for life pricing but the pricing is just too upcharged for the actual quality of service provided.

Email is not functioning like it did before the upgrade. The support for email is almost nonexistent. I received a call today supposedly from email support who left a message with a number for me to call back < I called that number and was on hold for over 40 minutes!

Have tried to get new internet service set up in our barn area. Have had one appointment cancelled for no reason given and then set up another appointment. When we called and advised have getting a refund for the first cancelled appointment and what issues we had a rep named Gabe cancelled our second confimed appointment and said he would give us a refund as well as a better price and

I've been trying to get a landline installed for 3 weeks for my elderly father. He moved and needs his landline turned on. Centurylink was to come on out 2/6.

However, they had written the wrong address (even after I had confirmed it with them 3 times) and so the tech could not do the service. So we scheduled a 2nd time, for today 2/15. This time, they never showed up and said there was an issue with the request and it was not assigned to a tech.

They told me to call back in 48hrs to reschedule again. My dad can't call, he doesn't have a phone to call with! He has medical equipment that requires a landline and it is not working because of this. I just need the phone turned on.

Our CenturyLink landline does not work about 4-6 times a year, for durations from 24 hours up to 4 days. This is a business line. There is a short in the line, which they have diagnosed, but they never fix it.

Customer service says a technician will arrive in one day. The technician has not come in 4 days. CenturyLink absolutely sucks. This is a rural area with spotty cell phone service, so we depend on the landline.

I have having trouble with phone and internet service for month they fix the phone and still no internet it comes and goes take a day off from work to be here then they canceled it and move it out later now another day off from work for them this is getting old but if they want there money o it's now
