If you only surf the net fine, but Century Link has the WORSE email service ever. My email fails on a monthly basis, there is no phone support (only "chat" & text), and you should expect to wait at least 40 minutes (originally 87th in line & currently 66th after over 15 minutes).

Got through earlier today (after 45 minute wait) & was told to reset my password, which not only discontinued the chat but made the problem worse. Now instead of one "reset you server password" message over-and-over, I'm getting TWO. And don't think for a second that Century Link will help you -- they'll only say that all support is now handled by a third party company.

Good think I also have two other email addresses.

Phone not working, I can't use 911 or report anything on phone, Called century link 8 days ago and set up repair ticket, they said they would be out that day to resolve problem, got a message that they were transferring work to another tech, never saw any updates so I called on a cell phone, unable to get transferred to customer service rep, just kept getting the same circle of options to report I have no phone.

Now a week latter still nobody has looked at it, and I had to go online to reschedule another appt. I would be embarrassed to operate a company like this manner. I will also report them to the better business bureau

I have experienced a phone outage since I cancelled the Internet. I have called and scheduled two service calls for the phone. Upon having the automated response say there was no ticket, I spoke to an operator and was hung up on twice. I am frustrated and risk losing business due to the problems with my phone.

The manhole at the entrance to the shopping center is sinking and creating a safety hazard. The shopping center is located at the entrance to 7945 Blue Diamond Rd. Las Vegas, Nevada 89178. This is on Buffalo at the East entrance to the shopping center.

This needs to be repaired as soon as possible.

I have been using Century Link for home phone and internet since 2011 and even before, but my records start at 2011. When they offered a service that provided internet/computer support for a monthly fee I signed up. Originally I think it was Rescue It. There was a phone number to call and they had you download an applet that gave them access to your computer and they could trouble shoot, do a computer tune up, check for malware, etc. IT WAS GREAT!!

Now I pay for $15.95/month for this service and it is labeled on my bill as Advanced Century Link Support Pack. But now there is no way of contacting this service directly. We have had nothing but problems with our internet. Close to a dozen technicians have been out in under 3 years and EVERY one of them bad mouths the previous technicians. We have been told not to name our WiFi, not to have numbers or symbols in our password, our inside wiring has been replaced, our outside wiring has been replaced, the wiring at the neighborhood box has been replaced, both the modem and

router have been replaced and moved downstairs then back upstairs, we finally were told we had to hardwire to our computer. The people on the chat are confrontative and always blame us. Who knew a company could be worse then Cox?

I wouldn't recommend this service to my worst enemy.

Worst customer service ever, I used to feel cox was bad but now WTF. Been with CenturyLink since day 1 but now I am seriously considering dumping them. 9 minutes listening to a computer asking useless questions then when I finally connected and asked what was wrong with the internet all day the Customer service person hung up on me WTF is wrong with you people?

In November I had a Sewer line replaced by Sunshine Plumbing and the cut the DSL line that let t my home and internet. A technician was called and he replaced the cut line and put on top of my fence until it could be buried. He came in and spoke with me saying I did not have to pay since he spoke with the plumbing company that was there and they would pay. He also said he made notation in his notes. Nov. 22 I spoke with Ricky who said a tech would be out to bury the line. Next month a team came out and buried the DSL line and it was working. Bill November 11, 2022 your company billed me $300.00

I have been trying to get my service connected ant my new office after my other office was destroyed in Hurricane Ian. It is now January 3 2023 and I started this process on October 6 2022. I am a Dr and have a health care facility and have had no phones, internet, credit card machine, or fax capabilities for 97 days! I have lists and list of phone numbers, technicians have been to my facility, and I have spent 100s of hrs trying to get my service. Oh yes, I keep getting bills for my CentryLink service. I have called the Governers office and filed a complaint with the FCC. So far I’m still waiting for service. Please help. I’m loosing business and income.

You could use a better way of informing customer of a change in billing. My email telling me I stopped auto pay was not true. You are no longer not using checking account and could have stated that! Not that I stopped it.

Your solution was sending a link to redo except would not accept account info. Took another call and transfers to find out had to use debit card!! Very frustrating and a long time on the phone!!

I have been a Centurylink customer for years, too many evidently. My internet is out since December 22. I had a service appt scheduled yesterday between 8-5. Even received a text message confirmation. No show, no call, and now I cannot get another appt until 12/27.

I guarantee I am going to have to threaten to get credit for those days. Customer service is horrible. They all have different lies they tell you, and one even guaranteed they would be there. Once fixed, I'm looking for another Internet provider. Worst company ever.

Avoid them at all costs and save yourself a lot of grief.

Hello: I'm writing about an ongoing issue of significant nature. I am writing on behalf of my 75 year old brother who cancelled his Internet account back in June of 2022, as he moved to the Philippines. It is unknown why this account was not closed.

Although cancelling his account in June, CenturyLink has continued taking out his auto-payment to this day. 05 for the past 6 months. The bank where the money is drawn is SeaCoast Bank in Okeechobee, Florida. I spoke with a CenturyLink representative of Indian decent about 7 - 10 days ago who said there were two accounts at the address where my brother lived.

One of the worst internet service providers I have ever had the misfortune of having to use. I’ve had the service for 9 months now. I have been without working internet for over a week. I have tried to contact them 8-10 times over said week.

They like to tell you to go online but how do you do that when your internet doesn’t work? The first person I finally got through to blew me off. I have told all of them from the beginning that the troubleshooter said the line is not stable.

He didn’t care to listen. The second person, same thing. The third person said oh it’s the modem. They sent me a new modem. Waited a few days to get that. Hooked it up and it’s not that. I pay to rent the modem also.

I stopped my service with CenturyLink on December 15th, this would be both my phone, and the internet. 57, which made me paid up till Jan. 10, 2023 for these two services. Now I find out that they will not refund any of the excess amount for the days that I did not use between when I stopped the two services, and the time the end of this billing cycle that I was paid up.

To make the story short, I feel that when they do not prorate the unused part of what you were paid up to, that this constitutes outright stealing from me. I have been a customer of CenturyLink since Aug of 1971, and have never had a late payment for over 51 years.

I canceled my account with Century Link on Nov 29th 2022 the last day we were at our previous address and i just got an E-mail saying my NEW BILL IS AVAILABLE ONLINE. I called today and got transferred one department to the next.

On Wednesday December 7th, 2022 my landline number 208-745-0256 quit working. I live in a rural area and need a landline. I called Century link from my cellphone standing outside to get service. A representative said a technician would come to my residence the following day Thursday December 8th, 2022.

That morning I received an email and text saying a technician would arrive between 2:30 pm and 6:30 pm. When a technician never arrived I again called Centurylink and was told that there was an outage in my area and that my service would be restored by Monday December 12th.

Why are your repairman allowed in my backyard without my permission? When I said something, the rude response was " call centurylink". Not only that but the truck was parked in front of my house blasting music. When the electric company needs to do work, they knock on my door and let me know how long they expect to be there.

I just think that this is incredibly rude. I am a senior citizen who lives alone. I don't like strange people around.

Since Nov. 8 I have numerous appointments to fix my WiFi not working one month later and still no show- my appointments never show up even though the text message tell my the tech is scheduled. I am tired of calling, chatting, talks with supervisor who guarantee the tech is on the way.

In the last couple months I’ve been without service more then I have been with service. Then when I try to get a technician to come solve the problem century link tells me they will be out the next day or in a couple days.

So I get the ti levitate t message then I’m told it won’t be for a week. So there goes another week without service. This is an ongoing problem with century link and nothing is being done. What are you going yo do about it?

I canceled my service a couple days ago because of this on going problem. I want to come back to century link but I don’t know if I want the aggravation again. 00 for a service technician to come out because it’s considered a new service again.

Our gas company is laying new line and CenturyLink marked it wrong and the gas company of corse hit the main line. We lost our phone and internet, being a business caused lose of revenue. When I called them to have it fixed, they said they won’t come and fix it until Monday 5 days later, but if other people put in a repair notice they would come out right away.

I feel this is deplorable customer service. They have left us high and dry. I’m supposed to be understanding, but they sure aren’t when they want the monthly payment. If I had a choice I sure wouldn’t use them.

My complaint is not specifically with the company centurylink. My complaint is with a tech that they sent out. We were told we were getting two Services brought into the property. When I explained this to the service tech he said that was impossible because we didn't have appropriate lines.

We had two exterior cat fives brought out. He said he could only hook up one line. I told him I was disappointed but go ahead and get line hooked up. He then asked for access to where the lines came into a central Hub inside the home.

I guided him down to where this location was and stood there while he was hooking up. Both lines were labeled outside. He grabbed one of the lines and began to prepare it. After watching him prepare the line I asked him if he was going to use the other line.

This company owes me $153,24 and ha not paid me the money I overpaid in my bill before disconnecting my service. I have contacted them several times to no avail. They never even sent the final bill, for which I was fully paid.

I did not owe a dime and they will not refund me the money that I am due from having a credit. I am so angry and now will have to go through the Attorney Generals Office to get my money. No excuse for this!

Then took off work and waited at home specifically for it as they would not give me a specific time and stated anywhere from 8am to 4pm then I got a txt msg stating after 12pm to 6:30pm. I call on Monday, the cable/wire felt down, and the costumer service guy said they were coming Tuesday to fix it. Yeah, I call Tuesday and the Monday person did not enter the ticket correctly. So now is going to be Wednesday.

Poor service, emergencies who cares, not them.

Also, their recording does not have an option to go to repairs directly , it wants to check if your modem is working, how does that help when the cable is down I mean does their answering machine detect changes in gravity. Good internet service, awful customer service.

My residental (I also have a business account) phone began having difficulties (not working). A policeman showed up late at night and said my phone number was associated with calling 911. I assured him it wasn't anyone from my residence. I disconnected the phones from the outlet. The next afternoon another policeman showed with the same concern, 911 had been called from my number. Again I assured him that we did not make any calls and that I had disconnected the phone.

Obviously this will do no good looking at other reviews that have been written. I am 64 years old and in my life time I have never had such bad customer service. 1st tried to call but no one had any comprehension and frustrated me even more.

Just have had the worst experience with century link in closing account at old address and attempting to start new service. Was encouraged to put on vacation hold and then start up at new address. When called back to start, no one new any info on my account.

Then when it finally closed they could be er find the new address info for the startup. Today was the day the tech was suppose to connect service at new address. Even got call for time frame. No show ALL DAY!

Called customer service 3 times throughout day and was told a different time. The final time the rep told me no one was assigned to my address! Unethical. Told all day they are coming and No one assigned?? I think that's called unethical business practice.

Several phone calls to support, and over a month with intermittent phone service. I have had to take 2 days off work to wait for repairmen that never show up. We live in an area with no cell service and satellite internet that is not strong enough to support wifi calling.

On October 3rd 2022 I got approved for ACP which prompted me to sign up for internet service. It’s been nothing but an issue since. It never took my acp number into account and I paid full price then had to pay a 15$ installation fee.

I was scheduled to have it installed on the 7th. The 7th came and I still had no modem. I stayed home missing work just for the technician not to show up as well. I called support and didn’t get an answers the first modem came on the 9th and I tried to get it installed myself.

It wasn’t working so the lady told me she had to send a new modem and that she had it on overnighted delivery which as it was Friday wouldn’t be here until Monday because usps doesn’t deliver on weekends. She also told me I wouldn’t have to pay for the service I wasn’t receiving m.…

At first there was no problems with your internet service. Now the internet connection cuts off every 2 to 5 minutes. This has been going on for a while now and it's almost impossible to get any help. My buried telephone cable was cut by a construction crew working on a new home next to mine. I have spent several days and at least 4 hours trying to get the cable repaired.I have talked to at least 4 service reps and 3 times was given a phony repair appointment and " ticket" which no one was able to find a record of.I understand CenturyLink is very busy with the hurricane damage in FLA ,but that is no excuse to mislead and lie to paying customers.

Your prompt numbers are not helpful. Press 1 for tech support or repair. Pressed 1 Waited about a half hour. Oh no we are tech. Have to get you to repair. Waited there. Finally got through. Heard some kind of a voice and you disconnected with me.

How hard is it for you to see the incoming phone number and call back. I did this i think 3+ times. So now i guess I'm into almost 2 + hours of time on the phone.

Finally got to some kind of repair service that informed me that I was on vacation hold and there was no start up date recorded. OF COURSE THERE WAS NO RESTART…

I ordered installation service for a Friday (range of time 8am-5pm) and because their policy requires someone over 18 to be there, I took a day off from work because I don't have any family since I just moved to the area. I called them at 1pm the day of installation they said they didn't have an order for me even though I specifically talk with them about the installation and rescheduled.

They put me on wait for over an hour on the phone and didn't give me any solution or policy for this type for mistake. Their only solution was "sorry" and they were very rude towards the end. The people I talked with was Britney and her supervisor Daniel.

I lost everything in the hurricane. I stopped service on 10/2/2022 and my bank account was charge two days later. I have tried to get help on this several times and can never get any help anywhere.

Now I have been notified that my account will be charged again!

It is absolutely impossible to Get help. I chat online and they say that someone will contact me and still they done.

We have been without phone service for four days. We scheduled a service repair for October 21, 2022 and CenturyLink repair was a no-show. Contacted them again on October 22 to reschedule for the same day. We canceled our fishing trip plans to wait on service technician.

We were promised an escalation of our outage issue and guaranteed of a repair done by 7:45PM. Again a NO SHOW! Ruined our plans for the weekend. Now when I try to connected to a live chat on CenturyLink website, the link I used before to speak to a CenturyLink representative no longer worked.
