Worst company ever. If I had any other option for internet where I lived I would gladly cancel this crap excuse for internet service. The only thing worse than their internet is their customer service. They’re scheduling me 4 weeks out to get my internet repaired after hurricane Ian messed it up.

I was transferred multiple times, on hold for over an hour, told I would get a tech tomorrow only to be informed by email that it would actually be almost four weeks for help. And on top of that they have the nerve to charge me for this month and I can’t even use the damn service. Absolutely ridiculous

Signed up for 40 mbs tech came to install said distance was to far to run. He measured speed said it was only 10 mbs. I canceled service. They say adress is in ohio but I'm in Colorado. Got text later stating there coming tomorrow to install.

I have made several calls to Centurylink all to know avail trying to get your street phone pedestal repaired. The pedestal number is 025351 and it is in front of 24907 S Rupp Road - Cheney, WA 99004. This pedestal is lying on its side, broken at the base.

Please repair this pedestal as soon as possible as continued exposure of the cables within this pedestal will most likely be effected by the onset of winter weather as well as the danger it poses to the children who live in this neighbor.

years ago i changed my email address. for years after that i clicked on the little box on my desktop that says email and it went directly to my current email. about a week ago it started reverting to my old email which i never use.

when i try to type in my current email address it will not take it. i have tried to get to my account. i do not remember my user name. it says it will send it to me in my email but i cannot access it.

i was on the phone the other day for almost 30 minutes with a girl trying to fix this who clearly did not know what she was doing. she told me to stay on the line and promptly disconnected me. tonight i used chat.

We order our service to be moved on Aug 14. CenturyLink scheduled appointment two weeks out. On the Set 1st a tech came said wire need to ran from pole to house and outside box install, which had to be done by a tech certified to use a basket truck, who would be on the 4th, 4 fdays later.

Well it's Sept 14th and many hour on phone daily complaining, to be reassured that some one is on there way and make sure someone remain home each day for this special tech! Again here it is 7pm on thec14th and nothing! Their promises are worthless!

For a ccommunications company they greatly lack communications! Nothing but lies from every support person and so called supervisor! There people are trained to say anything to stop you from filing a complaint and convince you they handled the problem(all…

CenturyLink has been terrible since we have moved in to our townhome who has a contract with CenturyLink. We pay $80 for the "best" fiber internet, but the internet rarely works. I am constantly having issues with the internet reconnecting, extremely slow speed, the modem was placed in my basement, in which affects slower speeds. I purchased a wifi extender that does not work due to the internet constantly going in and out.

I have waited hours to chat with someone on the issues and they are constantly connecting me with someone else in which connects me with someone else in which tells me they have a special department and to call a certain phone number.

It is impossible to talk to someone local, once i finally do get on the phone with someone, they schedule a week out? I pay for this…

I would give negative 100 stars if possible. Worst internet company of the century. See reasons below: 1. The most user unfriendly website ever. If you move, you will need to create a new account with a different user name and account number.

Hence the technician or customer service gets confused. Utterly rubbish. 2. Quality of technician. The worst. I am not sure what they were hire for because they know nothing. You will get transferred to 10 different people and not get your issue resolved. 3. Customer Service is shit.

I don’t know why does this company even exist. Even when they schedule you for something, they timeframe they give you is like from 8am to 4pm, and they will not even give you a ring when they cancel the schedule on their end.

Been 2 weeks and I am still trying to transfer elderly parents home-phone service to their new residence (assisted living faculty). After now 7 calls, I am told we have to wait 2 more days and call and request service to transfer and no ideas how long it will take.

No window as to when?? Are we back in 1960’s. Why this is taking so long and not yet resolved is unacceptable customer service.

I had issues with my telephone, internet and wifi. Received an email saying that the issue had been resolved. No, it had not! A technician came out days later to tell me I needed a new modem and a new phone.

The thing is a new phone would not work either. I tried 4 different phones. After waiting 8 days without a phone line or internet I called again. After an hour on hold an employee told me that there was nothing wrong with my internet and that a modem had not been ordered.

My internet was working fine after specking with this person. He then transfered me to telephone repair. After a 55 minute wait I spoke to somebody that was little to no help. She made another technician's appointment. Why would I want another lying, incompetent, imbecile technician to come here again.

I needed to order a new modem. I was on hold for over 3 hours and never did talk to anyone. I finally ordered the modem on a chat. The wait time to get it installed was over 2 months.

I was on hold for CL tech support 1.5 hrs., Sat., 7/9/22. Never picked up. Ran a chat at the same time. Created Repair Ticket 5771114 for Sat., 7/9/22 8AM~5PM CDT.

I had a repair ticket 5771114 scheduled for the infamous CenturyLink [CL] 8AM~5PM, Sat., 7/9/22, Did 4 chats during the day to reconfirmed. Told 4 times [via Chats] "to wait for my CL Tech to arrive. I am on the schedule & the CL Tech will fix this today." No show, no email, no "knock on the door", etc.

Had to chat today, Sun., 7/10/22 twice to reschedule. I had to do this myself with zero reaching out by CL. First Chat was stopped the first time when I asked to escalate this. I changed my internet services from CenturyLink to Cox one year ago, returning their hardware via UPS, informed CenturyLink of the change & paid for any services rendered. Despite doing all the proper steps, CenturyLink continues to bill me. I’ve called everyone department available to cancel my account, received email from their analysis II representative notifying me the issue had been resolved.

Phone line has been out for multiple days, multiple times over the past few months. Attempts to rectify this are met with difficult if not outright hostility and an unwillingness to resolve.

This is a landline phone service that has effectively been in operation for years, and now an entire community is experiencing blackouts for... no determined cause. Down times lasting literal days. Terrible Service, Terrible Customer Service, Terrible Company!

I contacted you about getting a second modem for another line of service. The person I spoke to only ordered the second modem and nothing else. They didn't set up an appointment to have someone come run a second line through my phone jack so that I'm able to even use it. She was rude.

She was poorly educated and doesn't seem qualified for customer service. Please reevaluate who you hire.

Worst service ever! They answer the phone when you need to buy something, but good luck finding anyone after that. I ordered a new modem, had trouble installing. Called from landline, waited on the phone for two hours, and gave up.

Called on cell phone got through in 10 minutes, not helpful, told to hold (no music or nothing), and then eventually call dropped. Called again later in the day, waited over one hour on hold with same irritating music, never got through.

Called again from cell phone, and same thing happened as first time. Went through same stuff all over, and then put me on hold to never return. I spent endless hours on the phone with these people and got no where.

I will NEVER recommend Century Link. I will be ditching them for horrible service! Totally worthless customer…

I have been scheduling repair for outage, and or loud humming interferences in phone line 602-268-5848, Acct# 332996013 at address 2929 East Chipman Rd Phoenix AZ 85040, over a year now. My mom is and elder who has doctor appointments and other important call that is needed which with having these issues is not successful and very frustrating.

I have been a customer for over 40 years, of which half of those years I have been a phone and DSL customer. I upgraded my internet speed to 80 MB back around September of 2020. My complaint is that no one at Centurylink billing asked me if I wanted to lease the modem. So for the last 31 months Centurylink has been billing me a lease amount of $15.00/month. To date I have paid Centurylink $465.00 for a modem worth $200.00. This isn't the first time I complained about the lease amount on my bill. My internet has been down for 4 days. I have spent hours on hold for a tech to help me. When I got one on day 2 he checked some things and told me my router was bad. He had one sent over night, when I set it up it does not work.

I have now spent hours again today trying to get help. I tried chatting only to have the chat end before anything was resolved.

Finally got a person on the line this afternoon who said he needed to transfer me . I held on until the call was ended. I am at my whits end for what to do.

18 months. Cut line went unrepaired above ground. Century caused the cut wire. Kept paying bill and complaining of poor to no internet. )Buried/ fix yesterday still having same problem. Century has admitted line jct box and a switch on there end is the problem.

No help from repair retention or escalation.

I have canceled after upgrading my internet. My phone and internet went out. I called and they said if it was some type of issue it would be almost a $100 but the service window is 8-5. I had took off a day less than a month before so i went with another company that hooked up phone and internet the next day. I canceled in Jan.

It went though beginning of Feb, but i just got the 3rd bill. I am tired of dealing with your company. Quit billing me!

Telephone has been out over a week as has others on the street. No one comes even thogh we have appointments. They text and say they fix it off site. It is NOT fixed. Some line has to be cut somewhere. n this is unconscionable.

I kept my word to call back on 2/18/22(8:32am) to set up a payment plan and made payment with payment plan (by Malisa-CL employee). I was told that one had 90 days to pay on account after suspension before final cancelation by Peter on 2/3/22).

Set up plan within that time frame, made a payment as promised. When I looked in email CenturyLink had emailed me (2/18/22,8:14am) that service had been canceled on 2/17/22. When I telephoned back that evening at 5:53pm to report no dial tone, I was told by (Katherine-CL billing) that since my service had been disconnected on 2/17/22 that it was too late unless I paid the bill in full and

I could have service again as new with a different number. Katherine said Malisa and Peter were wrong in telling me that and wrong for setting up payment…

I have not had satisfactory internet service since early December, 2021. After complaint a new modem/refurbished was sent 1-10-2022. I got it working on 1-12-2022. Tt stopped working next day. I reset it four times next five days. Called customer support 1-18-2022.

A tech was scheduled for 1-21-2022. Tech worked on it and got it working. That same night it went out again. I have reset the modem nine times since the tech worked on it. I have not called customer support since the tech left.

He said one problem was distance from distribution station. I need the signal boosted.

Also, I am paying for 10 mb an only receiving less than 7 mb. I have not changed. Phone/internet service in 50 years, I am so frustrated that if satisfactory internet service cannot be given I will look elsewhere.…

I have been with Centurylink since 2008 and in the last year my internet service has been horrible. I have been dealing with their corp. ofc. for mo. & they want to say it’s the distance from the box! My house did not move, nor did their boxes.

The real reason is they keep trying to repair the old lines and like the Serv. Tech. told me they all need to be replaced they are past the band aid stages but Centurylink does not want to pay to do this!

am being billed for two accounts on the original service request 09/2020 am being billed for 2 routers that i received and both were sent back to company when service was disconnected 09/10/21. am still being billed for service that was to be discontinued 09/10/2021.

this needs to be fixed. tired of waiting on the phone for hours to talk to a customer service representative that does not know what they are doing and them being disconnected, or transferred to someone else and starting all over again.

will not be paying for false charges because you cannot run an organized business. good day.

I had a CenturyLink fiber internet connection plus a $5/month static IP address. I upgraded connection speed in fall of 2021 and CenturyLink discontinued the static IP address without telling me or asking my permission. When I later realized what had happened I contacted CenturyLink and was told I would have to pay $15/month to get the static IP service back.

Again, I never canceled that service nor was I told I would lose the static IP address when I upgraded my connection speed. My business phone uses a VoIP system based on that static IP so my business phone has been down and potential and existing clients having no way to call me.

Century link caps the Mbps every evening at exactly 8PM. I have fibre optic cable and pay $74. While I have about 800 mbps in the morning, it goes down as low as 4 mbps after 8PM. I my opinion this is fraud.

I will request part of my money back.

We are honestly trying to pay our bill. We've had a problem with your billing day one; You did correct the billing the billing the first time; You than told us that our monthly billing would be $67 per month; With the next billing it was over this amount.

We did try and call, however, the call was outsourced to some foreign land. The persons had a horrible accent: Part of the problem is that I'm hard of hearing and foreign accents can be a major problem for me.

NOW today I tried calling your various numbers on our billing; Finally after 47 minutes I finally was able to speak to a "live" person, HOWEVER, this woman had a horrible accent thus we went round and round. I asked for a supervisor; again, apparantly the supervisor was from India.

All we want to do is to get the proper billing…

Century Link has taken two payments, and one that was not authorized. This caused a hardship! I spoke to the Financial Team on Tuesday of last week and was informed that the payment would be put back into my account.

Today, I called and was on hold for 45 minutes, spoke to 2 representatives that transferred me to the finance department, and the Representative hung up on me. Each person I spoke to had a HUGE language barrier! After 1 hour on the phone, and still no one can tell me what happened to my payment!

The Customer Service in the entire department has always been terrible! But it's far more worst than it's ever been! I will never refer any of my friends to CENTURY LINK! THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE!

We've had to have a service call twice in the last three weeks, and the experience has been terrible. Representatives are hard to reach, with many misrouted calls and disconnections, and when (after hours of trying) we were finally able to reach someone the soonest they could get us a service call was five days out!

We use the internet for our business and having to wait that long means a substantial loss of income. If it takes that long it means they haven't hired enough service people and also that there are significant problems with their system.

Just one more company that spends too much time adding expenses for their customers while neglecting to ensure that they have a good product. We are looking into changing to another provider.

Somehow my voice mail was removed from my phone line without my knowledge. I called on 1/7/22 and told the person I needed it put back on my line as I have multiple medical issues going on and I needed to get any messages from my doctors.

The person advise they had to put in a work order and that would take 24 hours. Since it was late afternoon on Friday the 24 hours would not start until Monday 1/10/22. So I would have my voice mail back on Tuesday 1/11/22.

I have called Centruylink since I still have no voice mail and they keep apologizing but said they can't do anything as the order is in progress. I have had issues in the past with my internet service as well and when I call I get transfered multiple times and have to go thru the same information everytime I get a new person.…

The CenturyLink service is horrible. both actual internet and customer service. The service is slow and because they "own my area" i have not choice but to use their slower than most service. I don't feel like anyone should be able to own an area, I should be able to choose and if century link is going to own an area then they should offer all of their service levels not just their slow 100MB plan.

This company seems to think the answer - or not - to customer services is slamming customers with repetitive, annoying automated email reminders. Then, there's the "chat" service that they must think is fun for customers who can spend 30+ minutes on some simple issue and be further annoyed with their clueless customer srervice representatives.

I constantly loose internet and it seems impossible to get a human on the phone to help me. The "chat support" takes a very long time to communicate with especially when I am typing in my phone because my computer internet is out.

On today's episode I spent about a half hour (after the additional 15 minutes of attempting to get a human on the phone) chatting with someone who finally gave me a long list of instructions and links to reprogram my modem. He then asked me if there was any other issue that he could help me with and when I typed "no" he ended the chat and the entire list of instructions that I now had 45 minutes invested in getting, disappeared.

Without a way to get a human on the phone I probably will just have to switch internet providers.

My DSL went out with power and has not worked. My cabin is in a remote area with no cellular service. I spent 4 hours on their overseas customer service both online at my primary residence which is three hours away.

I have had this problem several times and the problem has always been up the line and not with my modem or house. Centurylink will not dispatch a technician without me being at my cabin and on the phone with them.

I explained that I do not have phone service and they could not figure out to send a technician.

Our internet service is out at least once a week. Then it takes from 1-4 days for them to come out and fix the problem. Very poor service. Would change providers if I had another option. Very angry.
