I do not even know where to start with the complaints and I know that I will not hear back from this department either. The service is the worse that I have ever experienced I have been disconnected multiple times I have been placed on hold I have been on a phone call for an hour and 45 minutes I have been transferred to twelve different departments I have been transferred to the EAST COST AND THEN WEST COST transferred to people that I cannot EVEN understand. This order was simple increase my upload speed from 2 mb to 3mb I was even told that my house was wired WRONG. Checked out an address for fiber optic before purchase. Was told by Century Link it was going in. Upon moving in was repeatedly over 6 months told no Fiber. A neighbor bought next door, building house, got fiber, and not moved in yet.

His line is 50' from my house. I can't get fiber. I need fiber for my medical work.

Horrible service, they apologize hundred times,act nice, but there is no help from them whatsoever, so unprofessional, people without any knowledge of what they are doing. Should be fired all, I am a client who pays money and acspecting to have a service not spend hours to solve simple problem, that is their job.

Their solution is just transfer somewhere else or hang up. There are so many people with a diplomas, degree that can get their positions.

The poorest customer service I have ever experienced, if here was a rating for NEGATIVE 5 they would get it. After being in a WiFi outage area for 5 days I received a text message service was restored. No such luck, called for tech support, 5 different techs I guess all working from home, as you can hear kids, music, tv’s end etc. in the back ground. zero help.

Not one of the tech’s knew of the outage, one tech said I was out of service as I had reached my data limit ! I would have to wait till next month !!

Really same service same usage, same equipment for 10 years.

I called for new service I reached a English speaking rep that checked my usage and was told I have NOT even used half of my DATA !!!

So what planet was that first tech on.

I am at day 9 in a row of sporadic internet service which began 9/8. I have lost internet around 1:00 each day and it is out for hours. It might come back on for a few minutes at a time then off again.

And continue this way for hours. I called the repair service on day 2 and was told there was an outage in my area and it was being worked on. A technician was scheduled on 9/11. The technician called on 9/11 and I was told the problem was fixed that there was a problem with the heat of the day.

At that moment my internet was working and he wouldn’t come check anything. Shortly after the call my internet went out and was out for hours. Not being able to speak to anyone until on Monday I had to wait to call back.

I was then told that the problem was fixed but my router needed to be reset,…

century link has been doing construction on their equipment at the entrance to our gated community. The work appears to have been completed for over a week, however they have left behind a large steel plate that was used to cover the hole where work was being performed.

I represent the Home Owners Association where work was being done. I am not a century link subscriber ( thankfully ) and without an account number I can't find anybody with the company that can get me thru to someone who can get the plate removed.

After my experience trying to get help, its not hard to understand why many in our community do not recommend century link. Worst service I have ever experienced.

Took over 45 minutes to get a live person on the line. 00 per month.

Also this person was on the other side of the world and apparently working from a farm. Roosters continuously crowing during the entire 30-45 phone call. Very poor service and extremely unprofessional . I live in Louisiana and I’m ashamed centurylink has corporate offices in our states .

ZERO stars. Z E R O stars I am forced to leave one else I cannot leave a review. Fraudently billing, abusive customer service, and unethical business practices. I have contacted Centurylink 28 times since June 20th 2021. I have supposedly spoken with managers, the escalation team, their legal department, supervisors, consumer advocacy, and the president of the customer service department.

NOT one issue has been resolved! There are 7 states that have sued Centurylink for unethical business practices, fraudulently billing. Apparently, it takes the Attorney General in every state and a lawsuit to make Centurylink "Do the right thing, bill their customers correctly" Nothing in the Universe can or will make Centurylink provide acceptable competent knowledgable customer service. The service has become so bad we barely get a signal. In the remote chance you get to talk to a person, after waiting on hold for hours, they provide no solutions, offer no help and end up putting you back on hold. Eventually you give up.

This is without a doubt the absolute worst service I have ever seen in my life.

I called and placed a order on 7/12/2021 Order#1604461947 and was told we were grandfathered in because we have been a customer for so long. Under this order the agreement was internet at 10 mbps, cancel phone service. Prices were $65.54 for July Aug $61.37 and July $81.37. with a Loyal customer Discount $20.00 expiring July. I thought that part of being a good company involved communication, problem solving and customer service none of which we have yet encountered from our interactions with your company. We had internet installation set up for August 23. This was confirmed online and by a representative over the phone.

Instead, the tech came out on August 20 and installed some of the stuff outdoors and rang the doorbell to do the inside stuff and, lo and behold, no one was home so they could not complete the job. We both had to be at work that day and we cannot answer personal calls.

They also claimed to have tried to call one of us but there are no documented calls on our phones that day from Century Link. Not knowing this, someone waited at home on August 23 expecting the installation that day but no one…

My modem went out two weeks ago. I have been on the phone/online chat almost every day to get a new modem and no one will help me. One guy on the chat said he was going to send me a new one and the order was never placed.

When i call i get transferred over and over and then end up getting hung up on every time. This company is a complete joke. Worst service and even shittier people. If this wasn't the only internet service i could get i'd cancel.

I need a new modem. Get me a new fucking modem. This entire company is full of dumbasses, and rude pieces of shit.

Our reception is in and out. 3 repair people have been to my home and each one has had a different opinion but nobody seems to be able to fix my problem. This has been an on going problem for many months.

The last guy said the line was cracked. One guy said nothing is wrong and the third guy said had no opinion. I do not feel I should pay my bill in full each month when I am not getting proper reception and your service team has no idea how to fix the problem.

This company STINKS & is the most terrible of any I’ve ever dealt with. I recently had problems with my WiFi & they sent a technician out. What he did, I could’ve done on my own. He reset the modem & said everything was fine.

But it hasn’t been for weeks. I’ve called, emailed & texted for weeks to no avail. U CANNOT REACH A HUMAN BEING. I realize there is Covid to deal with, but what do u do, when you’re making mthly pymnts to someone & u can’t reach anyone to get a repair.

I can’t even get on their app to chat. I’m just so angry & frustrated with them. I just want my WiFi repaired. I’m on the verge of contacting the BBB Monday, bc I’m disabled & I don’t have money to waste on a product that’s not working properly.

I am wondering how you would like to wait all day for a repair man . I am guessing you have nothing to do but wait on someone with a 9 hr window . I am guessing that with some thought a repairman would be able time trim that 9 hr window down to AT LEAST A HALF OF THAT .

I believe that problem is LACK of management ,or at least good management. I have met some of the repairman ALL are nice ,friendly and helpful . Therefore the lack of service falls on management . once again I know no one cares about the people that have no other service to turn to.

I currently have no phone or internet. My line was cut by Comcast digging the first of August on the 2nd a temporary line was put in but not buried and on August of this week it was cut again by some type of machinery.

So here without phone or internet for another week. Very disappointed with technical service and repair. Wish I could get problem solved. So this is approximately 2 weeks this month without phone or internet. Very disappointing.

I have been trying to reach Century Link for at least 2 weeks now, by phone, chat text msg & email. I had a technician out here the end of July to chk my WiFi & he said it was fine.

I was given an appointment for Internet repair for 8/16/21 from 8:15-4:15. I received a few texts confirming the date/time. I took the day off from work for this appointment as I live 40 minutes away from my job. I tried multiple times to use the tracking for the technician, however it did not work.

I had 3 chats with Centurylink and was told the tech would be paged to give me a time. The tech never showed up. This morning, I received a voicemail from a tech saying he was at my house and nobody is home.

I did not have an appointment for today. I chatted once again with someone that told me the system shows my appointment was today 8/17 8:15-4:15. It seems my appointment date was changed since they didn't show up for my scheduled day without my knowledge.

Century might have good internet service, but I doubt it, considering how ridiculous and bad their customer service is. My wife and I just purchased and moved into our new home and asked century link to come to our house to install internet and WiFi.

Not only did the technician not complete the job after 3 hours, he actually made it worse. After calling the customer service the next day, the call being dropped 4 times, we spent over 4 hours with them amc no resolution.

They said they could not get another technician out to our residence to fix the problem they created for 4 days. We were told that they would try and get someone out sooner but never heard back from them. Then, to top it off, they never showed on the scheduled date and time they said they would come fix the issue.

Due to the pandemic last year my spouse has been focused to work from home I have contacted you all several times about the slow speed and weak connection. I have switched my service and contacted you to disconnect my service as of 08/09/2021.

Centurylink is undoubtedly one of the worst customer service providers I have ever had a occasion to deal with. Recently I tried to get a bill straightened out for a gentleman who is 86 years old and has heart monitor through centurylink lines.

Centurylink said he had not paid his prior months bill, which centurylink had already cashed his check through his bank. I called centurylink and was on the phone for over an hour and was told I had to send a copy of the bank statement which I did.

A week later I get a email stating they couldn’t read a jpeg file. Another hour on the phone and another email was sent. We were customers with CenturyLink for approximately 10 years. In July, due to unhappiness with your internet and phone service, we switched carriers. Our home phone is (253) 839-4489, which was transferred to our new service.

We recently received the attached from CenturyLink telling us that changes were made to our account and our new phone number is (253) 946-7881. We have called CenturyLink five times to resolve this issue even speaking with a Supervisor. Each person asked for a pin number …. which we didn’t have because we didn’t ask for this change. We were then emailed a pin – which turned out to be our old pin number … for a change we did not ask for. Whoever set this up (in error) also set up our pin number.

I have been in business for many years. CenturyLink has the WORST customer service and WORST recorded messages of any company I have ever dealt with. It is impossible to contact customers service by telephone. And one must do so after listening an inane record message that repeats its message over and over again and crackles and breaks up such that it is almost certainly coming from India.

I believe we are getting spurious charges and have not been able to get a copy of our account charges. I believe we have repeatedly signed up for Auto Pay including with the "help" of a so-called customer service representative - but we still keep getting delinquent notices. My parents are both in their 80’s. They have a message machine not voicemail. Evidently, centurylink, unbeknownst to my parents , upgraded them to voice mail causing a ripple effects of problems. They can not receive calls now, nor have a dial tone.

After HOURS, of trying to speaks with a human, the agent abruptly told me she would take off voicemail, but it would work for hours and she rudely assured me that was the problem and a phone in their home was off the hook. Hours later, and all new phones, thinking it must be our phones, still no dial tone, and no humans.

I live in a large apartment bldg. at Stephens Creek Crossing in Portland, OR We have an ongoing issue with vendors and the general public parking in our resident spaces. At 12:06 today one of your employees younger guy with his hat on backwards parked in front of my building which is marked for Resident Parking Only.

I politely approached him while saying excuse me three different times. He did not acknowledge me at all. The fourth time I said excuse me and said this is tenant parking to which he replied, "I am just doing work down the way on an apartment here".

Our landline stopped working about a week ago. We only hear static, can't hear callers or our voice mail. I called to have them come fix it and waited all day, the tech never came and they closed the ticket.

I called and they set up another ticket and I waited all day yesterday and the same thing happened. Our complaint is that our home phone lost the dial tone and all service on July 8th. We called that day and was told that a repairman could not be sent until the 13th. This delay was very painful but our pleas for quicker service were met with sternness.

We need our phone for ministry and five days hurt.

However, No on came on the 13th nor did we receive a call advising a delay. On the morning of the 14th my wife called to inquire what was the problem only to be told that your repair had no "ticket" on our outage nor notice that we had called..

We strongly requested that some urgency on your part be used to fix our phone. No luck! A repairman would be sent sometime on Friday the 16th. We feel your "service" was unresponsive.

I submitted a repair ref # 42687099 on 11 July. I was told someone over 18 had to be home. I wasnt able to be available until Tuesday 13 July. I was told someone would be here between 8-12. When i arrived home late Monday night my phone was working, but I dont know if it was fixed, dried out from the rain, or just started working.

I started service last Oct/Nov using a CenturyLink rental modem. I didn't want to buy unless service proved adequate. I'd have canceled the modem after a month but got Covid. Returning the modem was easy but changing my bill has been a nightmare. Every month I call, then wait to see that the$15 fee is removed and then pay my bill. This typically takes 45 min, manager involvement and call backs... EVERY MONTH I'm hopeful its fixed. This month is like no other except that I forgot to confirm removal of the fee and pay the bill so I have a $17 late fee on top of the erroneous rental fee.

Please make this stop! Cindy

Not doing there job lieing about doing gsomething about it and it never changes. The loading is so slow freezes buffs and kicks you off for no reason I have been with this company for years and still want fix the pro lem I dont care if it works on your end I am the paying the damn bill and

it's not working on my end. I hate this company I wish I could go to a different one but where I live you cant. this company. I am so sick of them I wish I could put there payment in a escrow account until they fixed it right.
