I am sooo frustrated with your company. I hate your customer service department. The people are fine. The entire system is flawed. If I am having an issue with my internet, I need to carve out at least 2 hours to partially resolve the issue. I am put on hold for long periods of time waiting for someone to get to me. I am then given to tech support who partially fixes the problem. Then I am sent to customer service which is another name for sales department. The solutions to my problems always come in additional band width. Which also includes additional costs.

The wait times and being on hold is terrible.

Illogical & . We have paid for your servuces for many many years - but have rever received timely rapairslnefficient tech explanations to service stelephone and weak wifiee services. Despite many calls our land line phone has been telling callers that the voice box is full.

Following printed instructions the box was repeated;y emptied. Right now the box reads "no mail". Yet immediatelyin-coming callers (as family members and busines caller sinform us they were unable to leave messages because the box is full. This has going on lone before Steaphanies letter dated june 4, acknowleding these problems.

When your internet is down and you work remotely they need to understand the urgency of getting the internet back up and running waiting 24 hours is not acceptable. With everything being based off internet to make some one wait that long to get their service back up and running is totally unacceptable. There should be an emergency option to get someone out within a 2 hour window

I have had several times in the past year where I have needed to call the company due to no phone service . Since the pole in my yard and the lines were replaced about two years ago I have had nothing but problems with my phone service .

There is a connection of wires in our front yard near the pole that has a plastic bag covering it . This allows birds to build nest in there and also the weather destroys the bag . We have asked that a hard case cover be place on this area with no results .

This information has been shared several times when calling for a repair. This time , I have not been able to use my house phone for over a month . I have made several calls to the repair line to no avail .

For about 2 months now, we are having internet/EMAIL issues. I use my iPad on a daily basis and now I’m having huge issues. Websites can’t be found or searched. My email comes in, but I CANNOT respond and send out new emails!

I’ve spent the last 3 days, about 7 hours trying to fix the problem through Centurylink help site. I was on the phone yesterday with 3 different representatives a total of 1 hour and 45 minutes. John listened a bit, couldn’t help me and told me to go to the website and then hung up on me.

The second representative, Joanne, tried and then began getting assistance from a co-worker and they could not resolve my problem either. She said I needed to be transferred to an “upper level” representative. After waiting 12 minutes, the third person started from the “beginning”…

For 2 year I ask CenturyLink to fix our Internet and for 2 years it fail on deaf ears and the problem was never resolved! On April 29, 2021 I called CenturyLink and canceled our internet service, keeping phone service.

They are yet to send me a correct bill. I have called 3 times and sent messages to advocacy dept but they will not even address the problem. I guess our only option is to cancel phone service as well!!

Guess we will continue to get bills???

5 upload. Can't speak to a human being that can do anything. Was transferred and disconnected 3 times, chat stopped responding twice. Worst company ever! The only option where I live, and I can't do my job with internet this shoddy, and they don't care.

FCC states they need to provide a minimum 25 Mbps to be considered a broadband internet provider.

I have been informed by our local police department that my landline phone number (now disconnected) on a Century Link accoun thad been making several calls to 911 over a three day period (May 30-June 1). Only after lengthy conversations with several Century Link customer service representatives, was I able to successfully have this number disconnected immediately and thereby stop these calls to 911.

Evidently the calls to 911 consisted of only a buzzing sound, no human voices. This is a serious matter. Century Link needs to immediately initiate an investigation to discover who (or what) caused these calls to 911 from my home landline.

How is it possible for such a criminal use of my former landline number to even occur?

They have done nothing to fix my house's internet from the start, and when I first moved in I spent over 10 hours ( collectively ) trying different things so the ping on the ethernet wasn't over 1000. The smallest upload like a message sent over wifi is enough to spike the internet to 1000 ping, I've had to close everything on my phone, and everything on my PC, and

for a good while it was fine just little 2 second spikes here and there, but then I'll get hit with a random spike that isn't even consistent? I shoudln't have to clear my DNS every 10 minutes because it starts getting inconsistent or restart the modem every other day because the latency is awful, overall CenturyLink has to have been the worst internet company I've ever had the shire unpleasurement of using.

For over a month have tried getting land line fixed( nothing to do in residence) . Promise repair and never do. Don't even have courtesy to tell you not getting to ticket. Then we have to call(what would happen if this was our only outside communication)spending hours finding out they will reschedule, promise it will be done this time and of course nothing happens.

A month of this, hours wasted on our part and still no service. And you want a rating, ok, minus10 if we could.

I'm opening a small business and needed service now. I waited 5 days was told they won't need in office yet called and did. After I gave access to office he complained no one had your device there . He spent over hr say to me he got a line thru to storage room and that's what work order said was to find 1 line.

00 hour or move desk into storage room . Lol I said never mind I'll get infinity Wich by the way is 50 a month less and only charge me 50 for how ever many rooms the phone goes .

I am paying for a service that I can not use. Last week I talked to 4 different customer service reps. After an hour more of online chat finally I thought I had an appointment scheduled with the correct date only to find out that it was never scheduled.

When I tried to reschedule today I was told that was too far in advance and the calendar would not allow it? 7 days is too far in advance??

Also the recent rep did not have manners and was somewhat rude. This has been a really horrible experience. Your technician has been great. The customer service experience has been a nightmare. I will try again later in the week to schedule an appointment for a technician.

No internet for several weeks now. Centurylink please do better.

basically WiFi. It was installed. Right from the beginning WiFi would drop out every about 20 minutes. After a week I cancelled CenturyLink and went with TDS. I now have solid WiFi. I would like to tell the public to stay away from CenturyLink

In trying to upgrade our service from “fast speed” to “fiber” by clicking a link within our household acct, centurylink created an entirely new, prepaid acct that we were entirely unaware of until we noticed no change in our internet speed.(It actually got worse.)

In trying to fix this, my spouse lost hours of work time on the phone getting transferred around to different departments. He received 2 tech appts, neither came, nor did the site acknowledge the confirmation # for the appointments even existed.

We have been double charged for bad service because of this. I am currently waiting for a new modem to arrive via UPS which is supposed to fix my issue AND needs to happen before we can cancel the pre-paid account we never wanted to begin with.

Repair of phone trouble not being resolved. 04/09/2021phone does not ring. Trouble fixed, but back down by 4pm. contacted repair again and they said they would have it fixed on 04/10/2021. Never got fixed, never got a call. Ref#12917131. If there people cant fix it perhaps they need to hire another company than ca fix it. Have had nothing but phone service problems for the last month and a half.

They have the WORST customer service. It is IMPOSSIBLE to talk to a human and when you do get a person, it’s the wrong department and they rush you off the phone with a link that bumps you off. They are a true nightmare!!!

Customer service was absolute, could not be any fucking worse complete shit. I've been with centurylink for over a year and i was told i wouldnt have to pay for my modem after 6 months and that my internet would drop $10 a month.

While on the phone to discontinue my services today, she proceeded to attempt to get me to stay with centurylink after i made it clear i wanted to discontinue my services, asking me what was wrong and asking if i wanted a technician to come look and that my speed was very little which means it was dropped.

the lady i was talking with told me i HAD to send my modem back or i would have to pay for it. i told her i was told i didnt have to pay for it and that my internet never went down.

If i could, i would have given the call a -10/5 stars.

I have been having internet service fuck ups for the past 2 years. This March 2020 till present day I have had 10 people coming out, 3 modems and still nothing . The technicians that come either don’t know what they are doing it simple just don’t give a damn.

Today the tech was suppose to change wires , it was in the notes and I told him when he came to door. He didn’t do shit. If there was another service available to me I would have been changed .

This is a sorry as company. Techs that you can’t get in touch with , that don’t call or send emails. If you have another option of services please go elsewhere and leave century link alone.

Good morning. I spoke with a very nice, polite customer service associate a few minutes ago. She was very helpful and researched and explained my question very clearly.

I received my monthly bill and it had increased by $25.00. I did not receive a notice that it was increasing. She advised that it increased because there was a $20.00 across the board increase in TV service. I understand that every company needs to make money, especially in the environment we are now living. However, a $25.00 increase is a lot for the consumer to absorb as well. CenturyLink has no customer service! I was on the phone for 2 hours (2 HOURS) last week with a technician. I first told him my modem had died and after 2 hours he says, "I think your modem doesn't work." He supposedly ordered another and I find out today that he never placed the order.

What a shitty company. They always want to sell you stuff but never stand behind anything.

CenturyLink 800 number or their chat service is rattled with errors and people that can not follow a chat line communication as it is transferred through the organization. I spoke with 7 people on a chat line that would or could not read the information from the person before after logging into my account online.

They continued to state that is not my department and transfer to someone else. They are also understaffed on phone service waiting 18 minutes for someone to answer their specialist customer service department. The Technical support team was once again requesting identification of basic then very short in communication of details.

I have been with century link for over forty years. Normally, I have no problems. This past year I have had the techs out to fix my service at least 5 times!!! They fix it for a month or so then it goes bad again.

My internet gets less than 10% of the speed I am supposed to and I can't use my caption phone which I need because I am heading impaired. The phone cuts in and out when I am lucky enough to get a signal.

I have them coming out AGAIN. They always say it's the wiring inside the apartment. I am tired of this and am very close to closing my account and getting cable. I love in a city and everyone else in the building is fine. WTF????

I have been paying my account from my checking accounts for years. Evidently one of the accounts payments starting bouncing even though I thousands in the account. I did not go in and edit the account to change anything. I was notified it bounced but never told why.

Today I was told it was because my credit card set up for auto payment was expired. While auto pay was set up, I never used it and always payed ahead with checking accounts. When I went it and tried to edit the account with the same info as before, I received a message about credit card.

I was hung up on with one call and then with another call told I could only pay with a credit card and would be charged. I asked for a supervisor and was told one would call which has also turned out to be untrue. This is a mess!

I cancelled my Prism TV and CenturyLink internet and voice on 11/7/2019. I was promised boxes to send back the cable box. When I did not receive the boxes I contacted CenturyLink on 11/21/2019. I was told the boxes would arrive shortly.

Next day, 11/22/2019 I received an online bill for the next month. I cancelled Autopay and contacted CenturyLink by phone. The representative told me my cancellation had not gone through. She worked on it for quite a while and said the bill now shows no money owed and was on cancellation order #1561956217.

She also said I would be contacted by the Autopay dept. this Monday (11/25/2019) to verify that Autopay was also cancelled by CenturyLink. On Friday, 11/23/2019 I received another email from CenturyLink telling me I was subscribing to more internet…

I have not been able to retrieve my voice mail for the last four days. After the second day I called repair service and got an automated response indicating that it was out of service and being repaired and would be completed the following day. As of now I still can non retrieve my voice voice mail from a remote source. I have called repair service and have been on hold so far for one hour fourty minutes. On the other phone I called trying to get corporate and I got a low level person from billing.

Late on Thursday 8/8/19, I realized I did not have internet or WIFI. On Friday morning (8/9) I called & the folks with whom I spoke did the testing, etc & said that I would need a new modem which would be mailed to me. I specifically asked for overnight service as I need this service for business purposes - I was told that was NOT possible. I then asked for a supervisor & after about 10 minutes a supervisor by the name of AL came on the phone & after listening, he assured me that a modem would be overnighted to me -- I would likely receive 2 modems as the previous conversations generated a request as well. I was emailed a "return label" in the event I did receive 2, so that one could be returned.

SO -- I was assured by Supervisor AL that I would receive my modem on Saturday (8/10) by 6PM…

I contacted Cenurylink over a month ago to have phone and interbet servuce restored after a house fire. Tech showed up and could not find the phone wire. Said they would be back with a mini excavator. They never came back.

I called them 4 times asking for a staus. I got a different answer each time. Basically no progress and no estimated completion date znd a lot if lies

I had an appointment set up for July 2nd for internet to be hooked up at my weekend home. ( I am only there on the weekends so I took the week off to be there). They NEVER showed up for the appointment and never called/emailed cancelling the appointment.

Called 3 times that day and was told he could still be there up until 7 pm. The next day I called to re-schedule the appointment and they kept setting it up for a week day when I told them OVER and OVER again I would NOT be there.

They said someone needed to be there because it had to be a BONDED router. After about another 8-10 phone calls over 2 weeks another lady said I DID NOT NEED A BONDED router. My Husband tried it on Aug 3rd and it was not connecting correctly.

We were not going up the next weekend. We called and made another…

I have had multiple contacts with customer service with centry link, and have not had my issue fixed. After receiving another new modem, the modem’s only last about a year or two just passed the warrantee, once again I was not getting the service I am paying for. Wi-Fi is horrible.

I had even purchased my own modem from Best Buy, which happened to be before their upgrade, and then it was no longer compatible. I was disputing the modem charge, until I could have somebody look at it I figure out what my next step was.

I even was working with a supervisor, who after talking with tech-support we realized the new modem was not working optimally. She immediately sent out a new modem which happened to be a refurbished model. Cords were broke and Dirty.

And now I get no response from that…

I upgraded to 80mbps service. Paid $99 for installation. Service had to come out twice to get it working. Right now it works but not nearly 80mbps. The best I have seen while testing is 45mbps and that is right at the modem. I have TV's throughout home that use Hulu and Netflix via wifi. They are still very slow and when testing via wifi at these devices I get upload and download times less than 5MBPS. I have asked if it is possible to get a wifi extender such as a Google Wifi Mesh system. Your support team would not verify that they would work, and they could suggest a system or way to extend coverage throughout home. Just want to watch TV! Did I buy a system that does not work in my area?

About a year ago, I noticed my bill with my phone carrier, Charter-Spectrum, seemed high. I contacted Centurylink and found a cheaper rate, so I initiated the process of changing my landline service from Spectum to Centurylink. Charter-Spectrum disconnected my service and ported my number to Centurylink, but I was never able to get my phone service started with Centurylink.

I called and talked to numerous people at Centurylink, all "who could solve my problem", but never did. A man even came to my house with no results. I had nothing but frustration as I went about a week with a dead phone and spent hours on hold waiting on my cell phone to talk with representatives to help me to no avail. I finally got frustrated, called Charter-Spectrum and went back to them.

You can't drive down the street where I live without watching a Centurylink truck swerving all over the road, texting and driving. Today I pulled up to a stop sign and (Photo attached) this is what I saw. How do you report one of these phone zombies to Centurylink? Short answer: You CAN'T!

Try calling any of their phone numbers and you get endless options none of which take you to a live person. I guess I'm going to have to start a YouTube Channel that just show's how bad Centurylink drivers are.

They can't put their phone down when they drive, and they drive all over the road because they're staring at their phone most of the time. What type of company allows this behavior?

To Whom this may concern, As a CenturyLink employee for over 20 years and a loyal customer, I have always worked under one of our principle rules of a Customer First attitude where our customers are concerned, in fact I take great pride in this, though I am aware that there are times when we don’t meet the expectations of our customers, and when this occurs, we fail to meet our own expectations or goals in providing an excellent customer experience.

This is not solely with our customers, but also those businesses we are in partnership with, in this case CenturyLink and DirectTV. Which is why I want to file a formal complaint regarding the billing excessive from either DirectTV or CenturyLink to my account.

Internet service speed test shows less than 1, but bill shows 15 .. Repair tech can not look at it for 40 days (from 07/07/19 to 08/13/19). Talked with Manager and no change was possible because of lack of employees. By any standard this is unacceptable.

This year has been especially bad. The Post Office has been without service for two weeks. Others have reported extensive delays in response to service requests. And some businesses have not been able to process credit cards because of no Internet..

Will also file complaint with BBB, FCC and Colorado.

Six months ago. My plan was to be changed to a new business rate the man I talked to was Jason. Three months later I contacted them to complain. And Jason told me in April he would take care of the problem.

So I paid the bill and told him if it was not corrected I would be issuing another payment until it was taken care of. Now in July still was not taken care of until yesterday or that’s what they stated but I would have to pay fees although the made the mistake.

I gave her two options fix it or the company would go elsewhere. Needless to say they have done nothing and they made all the mistakes.

My internet went out June 15th was told the earliest it might be fixed was June 24th. This is beyond unacceptable! I am 65 years old and have never had such poor service. I deal with electric, satellite, water, insurance etc.

I was told that technicians don't work weekends and are backed up; not our problem as customers. If you are selling more people than you can service its wrong, if your service is that poor that's wrong too. I am an insurance agent with AFLAC and my and our customer service is exemplary.

You have cost me money as I do insurance at home and expect to have internet 24/7 that was the agreement with you as a company and I as a customer. I could go on and on as to how mad and upset I am not that seems to mean anything.

For years my internet service has been 8mbps. I recently call to check why my service plan was not what it is was advertised as and learned that my service is now 3mbps. My bill is still the same and I can not get a plan that offers faster service.

Cutting my service by more than half while keeping the price the same is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! Your customer service is the worst service of any company I have ever dealt with!
