Hi, I purchased a Cheezo Chicken sandwich from the Checkers at Loftus Park and as I ate the sandwich I bit into a very hard and sharp objects and almost chocked on it. This was a very unpleasant and disgusting experience because upon checking I realised that these were chicken neck bones that looked like were already eaten and possibly put in there by one of your staff.
Not only is this a chocking hazard but also a health and safety hazard that could easily lead to me falling ill or catching viruses from having chicken bones in my mouth that were already consumed by another person. I am really appalled and traumatised by what transpired and fear purchasing food again at that checkers because it seems the health and safety standards are very poor and put us consumers at risk!

Can the CEO visit the company because we as customers we not happy the way they treat employees at shoprite volksrust especially the admin manager Nana Mavimbela ...she doesn't address her stuff properly nor respect them....she shout them in front of the customers....cashier work long hours with no lunch......I think proper management training is needed in shoprite volksrust...please attend to ASAP before the company loses dignity
Abuse of a staff member and disrespect to a customer.
Good day. I stood int the que this morning for more than 20 minutes just to buy coffee. I had to leave without mu coffee because I ran out of time. I had to get to work. There were only 4 tills open at 0830hrs, and only one speed till.
I am a hard working tax payer and I do not appreciate standing in a que whilst the general public who rely on every sort of free payout hold up the flow. It would be good customer service to have designated tills for this kind of transaction and fast moving tills for us who dont have the time.
Most of the people receiving some sort of free payout have all day to do nothing. The tax payer needs to get to work and do not have the time to stand in ques. Please sort out this ongoing poor customer service at both checkers in Upington .

I just came back from the store and we bought milk tart as it was shown that today is Milk tart day. yoh the tart just went to the bin its like is made with expired Milk. The top part of the tart is like inkomazi.
Unfortunately this is the not the 1st time cz last year we bought cooked fish and it was off I had to throw it away. Unfortunately I can't drive back to the store as I stay far from the mall but one day they are going to kill someone with spoiled food and i would appreciate a refund for my money.
18/02/2022: I was given R200 fake money at the Checkers Newton Part Port Elizabeth money market on a withdrawal of R3000. I went to deposit the money at Standard Bank ATM, STRAIGHT AWAY and it's only then that i realized 2 x R100 notes were fake.
Mind you I didn't have any other R100 notes with me and I am 100% sure I got the fake money from Checkers. I went back and i was told there is nothing we can do because you already went out of the shop with the money and something about their policy with no effort to investigate the case any further from their side.

For the last few weeks everytime I go to Checkers their plastic bags tear open by themselves and it is getting ridiculous, 2/3 of my packets tore today, it is getting worse. These bags are tearing as if they are made out of cheap paper.

I'm actually done giving Checkers Canal Walk Mall a chance to redeem themselves from the atrocious service they give every single time I visit there. I love the company and the brand but the service at this branch has put me off enough I don't have any interest in still supporting this chain.
How can you be an express till and turn me and my 4 items away because apparently you only scan 3?? HOW? Then your people still want to be snarky with tons of attitude and having conversations in vernacular in front of customers.

I am writing here to open a complaint with Checkers food section in Rondebosch, Cape Town. Today I went there for Grocery shopping and I decided to but 5 pieces of grilled thighs.
When I arrived at home, and opened the brown packaging that they put the pieces in it had a funny fishy smell, I than thought to myself that they might have used calamari used oil but again it is grilled not fried chicken.
We had to throw away all 5 pieces and this is not the 1st time that this is happening with that food section in rondebosch or maybe the chicken that they get is old chicken already because I once bought wings and luckily I ate the wings while shopping there and it has a funny smell as well and luckily I was told not to pay it .

I went to to return a school bag which was purchased on the 8th January 2022. Upon arrival my husband was received by a lady at the cigarettes' counter who was kind enough to assist him.

Please note I bought Lancewood cheddar cheese last weekend at Checjers Hyper Edenvsle it was on a special and it's absolute rubbish it judt crumbles its not the first time this happens obviously its being frozen firstly and once defrosted goes back on the shelves for sale that's why it's on special.

I ordered two deep sea doubles and asked for them to be dropped fresh and instead they took some old fish fillets and re-dropped them in the grease! They were hard and had no chew to them just all crisp!!

When I go into Checkers ( Kroonstad) I find that the Sir Fruit health shots are most of the time still on the shelve but has already expired. I am a big fan of this product and they are quite expensive.

The store I am referring to is Big Bay, Seaside Village. My husband and I used to enjoy the whole cooked chickens for after work, so as not to cook.
However, over the past few months the quality is terrible. The chickens are smaller and terribly dry. Yesterday we bought a Lemon & Herb one which could not even be eaten because it was dry like biltong. 99. I am shocked that you can still allow these chickens to be sold to us loyal customers.

I have gone last week to checkers parow wanted to buy a lamb they told me they are out of stock I went today again they again told me they out of stock. My son and I ordered 2 Buford burger meals with large cokes. We got someone else's order, and there wasn't a receipt. We were working so I had to call. I spoke with someone and they took my name.
