I stayed at location in Southfield Michigan Sept 23 thru 25th. The hotel smelled with foul odor due to mildew carpet. We asked a cleaning lady in the hallway to leave extra towels in bedroom leaving out room on the 24th 2pm.

When we returned that evening we noticed cell phone which was let next to tv was gone. Reported to Manager at checkout morning on 25th. Manager Billy claimed he was investigating and would contact me. It's 8 days later and I still have not heard back. I am VERY annoyed!

I recently stayed at the Sleep Inn at 595 Warrenton Road, Fredericksburg Virginia. I travel frequently to both Durham and the Outer Banks and use it as a halfway point to break up my 10 hour drive. I always request a room on the second floor since I am a light sleeper and the noise from upstairs bothers me. Although the hotel is very basic, it I had always found it to be clean and comfortable and the staff is usually extremely accommodating.

On September 9th, 2023 I had a completely different experience. I arrived about 40 minutes before check-in and was told the rooms were not ready yet. I knew I was early and was totally fine with that, but when the reservationist double checked she said that there was a room on the top floor that was ready. I had so many extra points I purchased a $100 Home Depot gift card from Choice hotel Priviledges account in July 2023. I called on Aug 8th 2023 to see where in was, she said anytime I should receive it .

I called again end of Aug was told it just was requested on Aug 8Th? I said no I ordered it in July she said they couldn't do anything. I called again and was told at the latest Sept 5, 2023 I'd have it.

It's Sept 9th still nothing and I'm out $100 gift card. Worse part! They don't care they are just terrible rude on the phone even after I asked to be transfered to anyone who could help me. I tried calling again and I'm in a que line of 672 phone calls. Are you kidding?

I had a stay at the hotel last October and have been trying to write letters to all kinds of places were it says it's a choice hotel's address, but couldn't get through. Our issues with the hotel were that the price was increased greatly after we got there, it was not what we were told online, but when we did get there, the bedding was dirty.

The microwave was filthy the tub had a leak, a constant loud leak, and it was dirty. The reservations was all mixed up even though I had done it online and had a receipt. The floor was dirty, the equipment in the room where we had breakfast, half of it was broken (like we never got juice or anything).

And I would like to get a refund on what we paid--At least a partial refund for what we had to deal with.

My kids and I had to stay in my car last night because I was charged for my reservation at sleep inn in albuquerque only to be told I'm on the do not rent list. They said they refunded me my money and it would be back on my card immediately but it wasn't I then spent the next 31/2 hours on phone with choice hotel customer service I had gotten disconnected a bunch of times my last call the supervisor Krystal was very rude and unhelpful.

I had no other money last night and was unable to get a room resulting in my kids having to sleep in car in extreme heat. I was told I could be comped a room at a different hotel by one person then disconnected and then told no they couldn't help me the last person I spoke with named Krystal was very rude.

Stayed a quality inn in midtown savannah, was charged way over the amount of my stay, and refuse to help out. Had to get a hold of my CC company to dispute the charges. I would recommend everyone watch the CC statements after checking out as they keep adding charges.

The front desk lady keeps telling me my kids can’t me outside of the room after 9, being very rude to me(was at check-in too! To the point I’d even asked if she wanted us staying here) while there’s people outside grilling, other kids running around playing tag & catching ball.

AND when there was people in the pool after it had apparently closed!! My kids were playing “monkey in the middle” and being quite(as they had been instructed by me) Why she felt the need to single me out while other people are still out here making ten times as mush noise as my children were!

I will never stay at this hotel again! I don’t see how they get repeated business! We started our stay June 1st and was supposed to stay til the 9th but we will be leaving early because of her!!!

Have stayed several times here. With my son. Each time it is going down. They quit serving breakfast , the rooms are not as clean, the supplies in the room are not usually there. And the room fees are too much.

We come to MDanderson for my son. Really enjoyed first few times. Really am disappointed that choice would associate their name with this kind of hotel. I have choice awards, but my son pays for the room. We may try one more time, but will be looking for a nicer hotel if it isn’t fixed.

I called twice and got hung-up on each time. I tried getting a hotel through your app and it wouldn't process my stay. I was trying to use points. I had to end up paying full price. I don't want your apology, I want a free stay or some points and tell your employees; most of them if not all are Asians because you don't want to pay proper wages, not to hang-up on customers.

Don't stay at this hotel! They will fraudulently charge your account of $150! When we checked in at midnight, the manager, sara, was upset and rude that we disturbed her bong hits. She and the entire office reeked of marijuana and she was completely baked! She was so stoned that she put the reservation under my husbands first and middle name rather his first and last. We didnt know this until we contacted corporate, Choice hotels. Choice hotels could not find the reservation because of this. They had to use the last 4 digits of the debit card to figire it out.

I have a case number with Choice Hotel 11280807. The event happened on March 17 If I heard the story from someone else I would find it unbelievable, but since it happened to me, my 2 daughters and my granddaughter I still find it unbelievable.

At 11:00 at night we were told to leave or she would call the police! We should have let her call! We did leave! We had not been drinking, nor arguing I’m going to turn 80 this year! And I have never had anything so bizarre happen in my life!

I’m sure she has got some crazy things she has made up! All I know is at 11:00 at night we were out on street with no place to go! The thing that really bothers me is I asked for the manager at Plano to contact me, he did not!

I made a handicap reservation three weeks in advance at Quality Inn in Monroe,Mi. When we got there it was over booked and according to them that’s not the room I reserved, and didn’t get any room there. I ended up staying at the Quality Inn in Dundee and my daughter had to pay.

I stayed in bed for a day and a half because I was so exhausted dealing with this. We had cock riches in our Monroe and people running around up stairs all hours of the night.? I am highly upset with Choice.

I asked for 2 free nights at the Econo lodge in Monroe for the king handicap room the end of April. I feel that with what I have gone through it’s he least Choice can do. Will you give me that

We have always had satisfactory stays at Quality Inn and are a member of Choice Hotels. This was the worst ever. Quality Inn 2602 Navajo Blvd, Holbrook, AZ TV did not work and GM was going to send someone right over, never showed. Ice machine did not work, hot water was warm, no breakfast because no one showed up and there was no one manning front desk. Hair dryer is a fire hazard as it gets red hot but no air. After the TV report, GM said he would give us a 10% discount but with everything else that happened, we expect a full refund. And last but not least the room smelled. This morning I checked my credit card and was charged for two nights. Unless I hear from someone, I am going to dispute all charges.

We had an experience on 1/28/23.. We checked in about 7:30pm. We dropped everything off in our room and we put our carry case in a drawer. We took everything of value out of it, but left out laptop. We were probably in the room for 10 to 15 minutes.

We placed a do not disturb sign on our door & went to the front desk and asked for a place to eat and were told a couple of options. We went out and came back about 9pm. We walked in out room and the drawer was open and all of our carry on zippers were open as they had been gone thru.

The good thing was the computer was still there. I had everything of value with me when I left the room. We went down and told the manager and she said only she and the housekeeping has keys and she didn't use hers.

I had a medical appointment at a distance from my home that was to far for me to drive round trip. So sn appointment was made through your company for the comfort inn at Emporia ,Ks for the night of January,26.

The circumstances of my medical appointment changed, and I tried to cancel my reservation and after going through your customer service service was denied s refund because I was one day late they said in cancellation. So I paid $104.

Recently stayed at Quality Inn in Elton-St. Augustine Fl. from Friday Jan 20, 2023 to Jan 22, 2023 & sorry to say that there were many things that were NOT satisfactory. Trouble with door lock & key cards had to be re-programmed.

Soap that was there were small & not suitable for the two of us for two days. The sink water was very slow to drain. A few lamps did not work & there were no outlets for them. My wife & I stayed 2 days, no one came to make the bed or replenish soap, towels, toilet paper, & alarm clock broken.

My stay was the worst I have experienced at a hotel. If I had seen for my very own eyes, I would have changed to another hotel.

My complaints are;

Room was never cleaned during my stay, I had to dump my own trash. Never received clean linen, was stuck with the same linen during my stay. Hotel management informed me that I have to ask for my room clean (which is only done after four nights) and had to put a request for it to be cleaned!!

The owner at Econolodge in Cartersville, GA was beyond rude. He was screaming at me in lobby face to face and smelled of liquor. All because I had 2 small working dogs with papers when checking out. He did not ask me at check-in about dogs.

We recently stayed at one of your hotels. It was the Rodeway Inn & Suites in Ft. Lauderdale FL. The check-in line was very long and took forever to check-in. The room was fair but twice the fire alarm went off because of smoke in the kitchen.

Also the band music from the next door bar was very loud and kept us up until 1 in the morning. We ate at the bar next door (Marina 84) and the service was not that great. When I got the check I saw where they automatically attached an 18% gratuity to it.

The service was definitely not worth that so I went to he manager to complain and pretty much blew me off saying "it is what it is". I doubt we will ever stay here again.

My wife is going through evaluation for a lung transplant at University Hospital in Indianapolis. We live in Ohio, so we have to travel to Indianapolis and stay overnight for tests they've scheduled.

Do not ever stay at a Choice Hotel! We reserved rooms in SC for a race. We went to hotel before race and were told rooms were not ready. Went back to check in after the race and we were told rooms were no longer available.

To top it off I was charoged for room that was given to someone else. I have been fighting with them since Sept 2019 for reimbursement of room. They keep telling me that check is in mail. ". It is now December 2019 and still no reimbursement!

I will never stay in Choice Hotel ever again, even if my life depends on it!

I stayed at Comfort Suites, 15555 John F. Kennedy Blvd, Houston TX on 14 Oct, 2019. The first 3 rooms they gave me the phones didn't work. The front desk gave me keys to 2 more to check, one of them smell like cigarettes and the carpet had stuff al over it, had not been vacuumed. (I have pictures). The room I did stay in when you picked up the phone the cord would fall of of the receiver. When I checked out I ask that the manager contact me. First, let me say that I talked to a customer service representative with Choice Hotels and was awarded 10,000 points for the problems incurred with our stay at the Quality Inn in Seymour, Indiana, July 25th through July 28th. While this was a nice gesture, it did not make me feel like I had been heard regarding several issues.

When we arrived, our room smelled horrible - like someone had urinated in the corners or the air-conditioner was leaking causing the carpet to smell sour. We went to Wal-Mart and bought some air fresher. The next morning, the room didn't smell any better so I talked to the clerk at the front desk.

My husband and I stayed at the Quality Inn in Troy, AL on 6/12/19 - 6/14/19. The overall appearance of the facility is not up to par. The front entrance is dirty and needs to be painted. The landscape bushes are overgrown. The front door is peeling and needs to painted as well as the outside sidewalk. The check in counter desk has paint that is peeling.

Inside the room - There was an electrical wall socket over the sink that was held in place with tape and when I attempted to use it, it fell inside the wall. There was a dirty towel hanging on the bathroom door from a previous guest. The ceiling paint was peeling. I had to hold down the toilet handle for a substantial amount of time for it to flush each time. There was a fixture missing from the bathtub and a gaping hole was showing.

My welcome at the Amarillo, TX Quality Inn 1515 I-40 East on 23 June 2019 was the worst I have ever experienced! I eagerly pulled into the QI complex noted above for our reservation at 9:45pm parking under the covered area directly in front of the door.

We recently stayed in the Comfort Inn and Suites in Irondale, Alabama. We have a trained service dog for medical purposes. At breakfast, one of the workers, named Patricia, told us that the dog was not allowed in the breakfast area.

We said he was because he is a service dog with full access legally. Patricia then proceeded to argue with me and say again that the dog was not allowed. We did not leave, but I heard Patricia bad mouthing me to another employee.

During checkout the lady at the front desk said that service animals are not allowed in the breakfast area because of "corporate policy". I told her the law states that service animals are allowed anywhere the handler needs to go by law and cannot be discriminated against.

Iarrived in Martinsville Va on Saturday June 8. i had a reservation but there was a car show in town so the hotel was booked so i was told by the front desk clerk (janell)to go ahead and pay for all 3 (three) nights.

Once i returned on Monday I HAD NOI RESERVATION. and the money was placed back on my card in 4 business days. i traveled 250 miles and thought i would have the room that i paid for.

So many complaints about losing precious Choice points it is not funny. We have been saving Choice points (32,391) for a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Japan back in Feb. Reservations were made, however, due to health issues we had to cancel the trip.

My family has been Loyalty Choice Hotels Members since 2016. Today, I was trying to book a hotel up in NYC for a family reunion, I was in shock finding out that all 32K points were gone; I emailed and inquired why, the customer service replied immediately & told me that my points were forfeited last 03/01/19 due to inactivity.

I have received NO warning, advise, or just plain notification from CHOICE about the expiration. I DID NOT FORFEIT my points, they were taken away from me without notice. My calculation of the expiration is Aug 2019. you…

We stayed here specifically because of the amazing advert in one of those hotel catalogs you get from the rest area. It boasted it was the newest in the city, hot fresh cookies,free candy in the room, and the big one - ULTRA CLEAN!

Also, only $39 with the coupon. Sounds great, right? Not so much. The guy who checked me in was great, but informed me they can only accept 15 of those coupons each day so my $39 was now $78. Ok, it happens.

We get to the room and it is a disaster. Walls are super dirty, carpet feels disgusting, and worst of all the entire place reaks like mildew! I couldn't use the pillows because I sleep on my side and they smelled of mildew.

I had to go back to my car and get my travel pillow. The breakfast was a huge disappointment. It said there was biscuits and gravy…

The Sleep Inn Bridgeton, Mo is falsely advertising PKF7 rate. I paid extra for this rate for two rooms. We had no problem parking and getting shuttle ride to airport but when we got back 5 days later called to get shuttle was told had new general manager and the shuttle service had been stopped. We would need to get taxi to our cars, we did have to get two cabs .I feel some reimbursement should be done. Desk clerk "who said she was office manager" would not let me talk General manager also informed me PKF7 rate didn’t include shuttle only using parking lot. That is not what is advertised online says shuttle to and from airport. She said no reimbursement would be done.

We stayed in the EconoLodge, a Choice Hotel, on E. 40th Ave, in Aurora, CO. on both May 16 & 26. We left our car in their "secure", "monitored by security cameras" parking area behind the hotel while we were traveling by plane.

This is a service they offer and they charge for. m. on 5/27 and checked in. Upon arising later that morning we found that our car had been broken into. The desk staff acted like he couldn't care less. Shrugged his shoulders. Didn't comment.

Didn't offer to review the camera footage until I asked. No manager available "she's comes in later". No help when I asked for nearby glass repair or auto repair. Shrugged his shoulders. Did give me a plastic bag for the broken glass after I asked.

It regards my stay at the Comfort Inn and Suites Athens Atlanta between 12th and 22nd May this month.

First of all the booking. My CRS Confirmation # 66260159 was cancelled on 6th of May without my knowledge or advice to me . I attach the relative document. Where it says that my reservation was cancelled . . . . .

by x, it should read "cancelled by Comfort Inn and Suites" Then my payment. I have been charged twice and I have paid twice for my stay. 98 were correctly drawn from my Mastercard which I submitted. 61 was charged to my credit card, without my knowledge or with the use of the card.
