The day before we left for our international trip I called Consumer Cellular that the international calling capabilities that were supposed to be provided with my service had not been activated. So, while on the phone with the agent I requested that the services be activated.

This he said he did and assured me that I would have international service. Unfortunately, upon arriving at our destination I discovered we did not have the promised services. I called customer service again to be told that they could no longer activate my international services as I had already left the country.

This presented numerous issues for us as well as additional expenses. We had a sick animal that we had left in the care of a friend and were unable to stay in contact with them frequently enough to ensure…

I signed for cellular services with Consumer Cellular, and found I could not access network service from my farm. At our remote farm, I and my wife, with old and poor health conditions, was totally isolated from any emergency services. I shortly learned, unlike their ad, Consumer Cellular does not use T-Mobile network that has a full cellular coverage. I immediately requested Consumer Cellular by phone, and canceled their service. Later I learned my neighbors had the same bad experiences and cancelled Consumer Cellular.

The policy of dropping my data speed when I used 50G was implemented after I agreed to my Contract. I would like to pay the balance on my I-Phone 13 Pro and begin purchasing data from another company. Your 50G limit forces customers to add Modem/WiFi. That’s not your decision.

CC should sell me more data if I need it, but won’t. The FTC under Biden allows this to go on. I oppose it and will start to fight Biden and your company with his ultra-liberal policies. I would purchase more data from CC, but can’t, and I won’t play the anti-trust game the Biden Admin and FTC IS allowing you to play, I expected more from CC, but you refuse to care for your customer.

I transferred my service from AT&T to CC for coverage issues and price. CC offered T-Mobile or AT&T as carriers. All was good until yesterday when a SIM upgrade to my phones switched me from T-Mobile to AT&T. I now have marginal to no Cellular coverage in my area.

This is normally not an issue unless I loose my WIFI coverage (WIFI calling overrides the Cellular issues). When I loose my WIFI coverage I cannot work with my WIFI provider to troubleshoot issues. I contacted customer service who informed me that they no longer have the capability to offer T-Mobile SIM cards.

My name is Beverly Breneman. I have been a Consumer Cellular customer for years. I recently experienced very poor customer service, and discriminatory behavior. The situation is as follows. Before traveling to France I called and asked a customer rep if it was necessary to buy a SIM card during my vacation.

The response was " you don't need to worry ,you're covered with our International plan," The implication being International charges were integrated with my present plan. No mention was made of coverage limits. In France, I received the message that my coverage had been stopped!

I purchased a tablet and service from Consumer Cellular. The tablet lasted one year to the date.

At first the tablet would crash when loading a website. I called for support and they sent me another sim card. It helped somewhat, but discouraged me from using the internet.

Then as the tablet got closer to the one year mark, websites would not load. This seemed gradual. As time came closer to the one year mark, the problem got worst, from the first page of a website not loading and freezing to the second page not loading and freezing. Surprisingly, when I logged onto my home internet, I was able to find this page which makes me think that they are doing it deliberately due to the tablet being at its end of life (one year).

when the battery swelled in my Galaxy 10e, I was talked into buying a new phone. The new phone was a galaxy A13-5G. When the new phone was set up, the voice mail account was dropped. when called to get that straight, i was set up with a new voice mail number, instead of using my old voicemail number, I was set up with a new one.

I lost all my voicemails. Why can I not use my old voicemail account ? I have had other disappointments with my new phone. I have to go into settings every time I leave the house I have to go to settings and turn off wifi so the phone will not search for wify to make a call or connect to data to access the internet.

My old phone did this automatically. Why does my new phone not do this? I give a service rating of 2 out of 5 . if some one can resolve my issues…

My father, Richard Rotunno, who was a customer with you recently passed in Dec. 2022. He had a bill that was due at the time of his passing. After he died, I called Consumer Cellular to notify them of his death.

I was told to send in a copy of his death certificate when I received it, which I did. Since then I have received several more bills demanding payment for his account, even after I have call SEVERAL times and sent in his death certificate.

My father recently entered a nursing home, and I tried to pay his bill by calling the 888-number. They told me they couldn't without a verification code. I fought with them as I am an hour away and due to his condition, I couldn't get this verification code until I went there.

They finally took the checking and routing. This month I called with the code-they told me to get and suddenly it expired!!! What kind of customer service changes the instructions in a month. Again 1 hour away and all I am trying to do is pay a bill.

I was in need of a new phone and tablet because my good ones had been stolen by a former roommate. I talked it over with my Dad and he agreed to help me very month with payments for the Galaxy Fold.

It's an expensive phone but combines the two things I needed into one. I was able to finance it with you over 48 months so it fit into my budget. I have been very ill lately and live on disability.

I questioned my bill for January and found out from Customer Service that I was being charged for 2 phones. I was asked to fax a copy of my return receipt from Target on Jan. which I sent to the Billinging Dept.

I opened a cell account, they kept double-billing me, and when I tried to handle it on the phone, they required a "security code" first. They never gave me one, AND REFUSED TO GIVE ME ONE. SO now they've billed me for 4 months, after 10-12 phone calls, two rude supervisors, lies and promises, and they cut me off today for being "rude" to their cust. service. WTF?

I'm 80 and need that phone for my safety. They are crooks and thieves and abuse seniors.

I would rate Consumer Cellular less than 1 star if I could. I decided to switch from Verizon to Consumer Cellular for a lower priced plan. The first SIM card they sent me would not work on my phone. No service at all.

They sent me a second SIM card. That card also would not work on my Google phone. My daughter spent hours on the phone with CC customer service people trying to get my phone to work with their SIM card.

They could not get my phone to work and told us that the software needed updating on my phone. I had the latest software updated on my phone already. They had no answers to why it would not work. " I switched back to Verizon with a new Google phone and a new phone plan.

bought it ~ 1 yr ago. Problems from day 1. No useful "user support". It randomly blocks my contacts, the instructions are incomprehensible,Problems too numerous. 5 hrs w/ "tech support"; it ws worse after. The settings aren't clear (understandable) , and settings just seem to cahage randomly.

I have issues with volume on my phone. Contacted CC today and spoke to two different CSR.

First one seemed knowledgeable until she talked me into upgrading my data plan. Stated she would help with my phone problem. I was told to remove battery for 3 minutes replace and turn phone on, call back. She stated there were significant notations on my account for next CSR.

Called back second CSR said limited notes that I had a very old phone and nothing she could do, the speaker was worn out. Didn't even try to help acted like I was a bother. I hung up on Miss Snarky.

Inadequate service as far as I am concerned. As a senior I have limited income and CC was a good plan and a good price.

I am completely dissatisfied with Consumer Cellular and its unethical business practices. Due to no fault of my own, I was without service for nearly a month. I contacted them several times to try to resolve the problem, but I was ultimately held accountable.

Customer service acknowledged the problem but offered no solution. My most recent phone call revealed that it was fraud or a related crime, that I was to blame, and that my account would not be credited.

You are told something different each time you call and they will not provide any solution or resolution, other than you owe them money for no service.

I purchased a consumer cellular phone in July/2022, I began having problems with the phone in September of 2022. I called the company on several occasions only to be given the run around from different representatives advising me to take the phone back to Target to be fixed, I was sent to two different Targets and the techs could not fix the phone, having performed a master reset.

I am a long time customer. I purchased a new phone and because of transferring all my into from my old phone to my new one, a lot of my data was eaten up and slowed down my service. I called Consumer Cellular because I wanted to buy more data time (I've done this in the past), but I was told I'm "grandfathered" in my plan because I'm a long term customer and

I traveled to Spain the entire month of September and called 2 times prior to get on a plan that wouldn’t cost me a fortune. I was ensured by a representative that I didn’t need to buy a SIM card when I got there and that my usage fees would not be more than 100-200 dollars. I received a bill for 471 and my phone service was disrupted Sep 8th for 2 days saying I exceeded usage.

I explained I’d be using my phone a lot and should I turn off roaming, get a SIM card, etc. She assured me not to worry.

worst worst worst experience ever!!! They took my grandmothers money. Conned her into giving her credit card number . Charged her card for the Grandpad and then asked her to accept easy pay. She does not even have the internet to do so.

9/21/22: Consumer Cellular has the worst customer representatives. They don’t seem to clearly know what they doing and/or able to rectify your problem. They just want to send you to Target for more poor service. I got several different answers from each person I spoke with, even supposedly Supervisors. That is poor service!

This Avid 589 phone, which I haven’t had for 6 months has never been a great working phone. After my phone call today, the phone went to Android Recovery mode, what!! How and why did that happen? When I ask for a replacement under warranty they say we can’t give you another phone because you want don't like the one you have. NO!

Where do I start? Let’s put it this way; there is no consistency on how to address issues. I spoke to 4 agents yesterday. I needed to get my wife’s phone reactivated because somehow the new phone I ordered got activated before arrival and her current phone got cut off. The other issue was my new phone’s QR code for activation failed. One agent disconnected me; another told me there was nothing they could do to reactivate my wife’s phone and challenged me when I asked for supervisor; a third tried to help but their attempt at a new QR code failed.

When you change plans now, you are bullied into either selecting automatic payments or paying $5/month to opt out! For those of us who actually pay attention to what we spend, automatic billing creates extra work -- these days poorly working web sites and other technology causes more than enough extra work!

Until today I found Consumer Cellular to easily be 5-star. Reasonable prices with lots of choices for those of us who don't need big, expensive plans, and any time I have contacted customer service the service was excellent! But being bullied into tolerating automatic payments is completely unacceptable!!

And you can't find an email address or street address on their web site; the only contact options are chat or phone.

Consumer Cellular terminated my service when a scammer went into a Target store and convinced those idiots that they were me. They gave the scammer my number and terminated my service. I finally got to Consumer Cellular on Facebook and they found the problem.

They told me it would take 24 to 72 hours to get my service restored. It has been 5 days and they continue stalling and making excuses. I have told them I have medical conditions and missed an online visit with my cardiologist on Friday because I could not verify the appointment by phone.

They are putting my health at risk by this stalling tactics. They should give me a new phone and fix this problem now but they refuse blaming the carrier. Can you help? I am at risk with Consumer Cellular and they could not care less.

Yesterday at Tacoma waterfront I needed to make an important call, as I was supposed to meet someone there, I suddenly had Zero connection, Tried and tried, Had to get into the car and drove to downtown Tacoma where surely I would have connection, but NO. Half an hour went by and no connectivity.

Turned my phone off then back on again and suddenly it was connecting. By then I was an hour late to my meeting. Now today, I am trying to send pictures and cannot send to anyone. Last night I tried a phone conversation several times because a friend is in the hospital with sudden surgeries, and the calls kept dropping.

If this awful service continues at this pace I will be changing to a different phone company next week!

2days ago my phone stopped ringing, no text messages coming through. The phone goes straight to voice mail. I have called cellular support 3 times and did 3 sets of instructions and nothing worked. No one knows why this happened or can help me.

I want to know why this happened.

Also the 2 side buttons don’t work so I can’t reset. They are sending me a new SIM card but why should I have to go through that. I have no idea or guarantee that that will work. I thinking of quitting consumer cellular and should not be charged a termination fee.

When my husbands phone broke a few months ago, I called consumer cellular and they said it was a known defect in the phone, I sent it back a couple of months ago. They also said they would replace mine if this happened to me, my phone broke in same place my husbands did, left side of opening center hinge.

He was not required to send broken piece back. On July 19 or 20 th I called and talked to two people and they said they would not replace the phone if I did have the broken piece. I do not have it, because I don't know when or where the broken piece fell out of the phone.

I have the unlimited call, text and data plan.

However, when I reach the maximum data (50MG) of my plan the network 'slowdown' that Consumer Cellular does is virtually a standstill of data. I cannot open static pages, text any content other that alpha/numeric content. That means I cannot text contact information, pictures, a simple phone number or anything other than a basic text message.

I expected a slowdown of streaming. But certainly NOT a standstill of data access/exchange and/or simple text message ability. All I am able to do is make and receive calls I have experienced that with 2 other carriers. I ordered an iPhone 13 brand-new I used one came damaged called them they sent me a new iPhone 13 but then they charged me for the damaged one that they sent Corley pack and used is there attorney out there they can help me with this

I purchased a new Galaxy S22 phone, protective case and a glass screen protector from consumer cellular. The phone and case were just fine. The screen protector was damaged. The tape holding the screen protector onto the shipping case was impossible to remove from the screen protector.

I very carefully tried to remove this tape. I have installed screen protectors on many phones. I finally got the tape to come off but some residue was left on the screen protector The residue rendered the protector unusable. I called consumer cellular was was told they would not back up the screen protector and wanted me to go to the manufacturer.

Mind you, all three of the products I purchased came packaged in one box from consumer cellular. Consumer cellular told me to call the manufacture. I replied…
