They won't support me getting a replacement screen. None "available" because I did not buy the "protection plan". This is stupid and I'm pissed. Maybe another carrier would be a better option for customer loyalty.

I have bought a new galaxy from them, had to ho thru 3 different sim cards none worked they pushed blame gor 3 weeks today received a replacement phone within as I wad in process of transferring data from old phone, agent told me to call back in an hour to finish setup of dim card I did and got not available message!

I now have to wait until Monday! because agent wouldn't wait 25 mins for their phone to setup!

I have to be near my WI-FI modem to make a phone call on my phone. I have tried all "fixes" and nothing works. Is the problem in the CC network. Has AT&T messed up? Again, nothing works. If I am on the road and something happens, I am out of luck

Consumer Cellular assigned a phone number to me which is still connected with another customer. It has caused me problems with my new computer, my electric bill, I am getting texts from her contacts, etc. Why aren't the phone numbers checked out better before they are assigned.

The only solution is to get another new number. I got the current one in January because my previous number had at least 50 texts sent to me. Some disgusting. Their only answer is to assign me another new number.

I'm being told my Samsung A20 is no longer compatible with their network and no longer will work. It was a gift to me and apparently it was not purchased through Consumer Cellular. My husband purchased his Cellphone Samsung A20 through Consumer Cellular and his phone IS compatible and works. This is ridiculous.

I cannot understand with the technology today why this is happening. I feel Consumer Cellular wants a person to only buy through them and your phone will not work with another carrier and another carriers phone will not work with them. This is a SCAM!!!!

My complaint is that I have been paying $20.00 a month for service.When they advertised $15.00 a month. Why wasn’t I charged that instead of twenty a month? I called and the gal had talked to her supervisor and she replied I should of went on lines and changed it on my account. Why would I go on my account. I have auto withdraw so why would I do that after years being a customer. You guys should of deducted that $5.00 automatically you should of taken care of this for your customers. As far as I see it I should have a credit for the months it went to $15.00. Poor customer service.

I'm emailing about multiple disappointments I have encountered. In 2021 before August I call customer service for international SIMs card I was traveling to Dominican Republic I received the SIMS card and call to activate. Customer service said everything was ready I got to the Dominican Republic and there was no service for 6 days.

I got back to the US call customer service was informed that it was never connected. In January 2022 I ordered another SIMS card international for Cozumel Mexico call to activate after holding on for 2 hours was informed on the 3rd of March on my way to the Cozumel that I was sent the wrong Sims card five days about service.

Does Consumer Cellular even offer international calls How can I be compensated for my inconvenience. Thanks Estella Logan 6152908151.

*. Their advertised "Unlimited" data plan @ $55 a month is throttled at $35. Doesn't say that anywhere I could see. No one pointed that out when I signed up. False advertising *. The data never worked in 3 months *. Customer service may be US based but it took ONE WEEK to get to speak to anyone. The CEO & Corporate team have made it impossible to get to them. *. There is therefore NO accountability. Even though I could prove that when they said my phone was using data I was living in a place where NO PROVIDER HAS SERVICE!!!!! Their records still showed I used data. They refused to discuss basically implying I was lying because their system showed data usage.

DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM!

Put on hold for over an hour and then they hung up on me. Called back and this time I could have them call me which they did after about another hour. Trying to activate my elderly fathers new phone cause the last one broke and they would not assist me.

My father doesn’t hear well and asked me to assist him. I activated his phone last time a few months back with no problem. That person understood that elderly hearing impaired people need help. This person didn’t care and wouldn’t do it cause my father wasn’t with me right now.

He was with me earlier when I was put on hold and hung up on. I wanted no personal information off hi account and I wasn’t trying to add any new charges cause he already had a line with service on his account.

Terribly disappointed that these people didn’t care…

Service and billing issues. Customer service was also not helpful in correcting the service issue we were having and we requested a partial credit for the non service we we were getting but at the end we were billed more than what we should have instead.

Managers never got involved they just had the phone res talk to us, a couple were nice but most were rude. I have invoice copy of overbilling.

I have been trying to contact Consumer Cellular for the past two days. When I call their number, I am told that their business hours start at 5:00 am. Then their message will say that we are currently closed and hang up on me.

I have an elderly father without phone service and this is very upsetting. He has no way of contacting anyone if he needs medical assistance. I can't even get the chat with customer support to work. This is rideiculous!!

My experience with them has been unfortunate. I ported my two mobile phone numbers to another carrier because of poor coverage, thereby cancelling my service with them. But Consumer Cellular continued to bill me for one of the two lines that was cancelled, because of a computer error. I called their customer disservice line (you cannot write to them; there is no published customer service email or address) and waited a very long time to be told that they would not correct that billing. They would continue to charge me for service that they knew was not provided.

This is how I learned Consumer Cellular is not trustworthy and that their customer service personnel are poorly trained and unhelpful. I will not call them again. Fool me twice…

I am a new customer to Consumer Cellular and when I signed up I was told to have a paper bill would cost me $5 monthly, but the young man said to call when I received my bill and talk to customer service about having it removed. I received my bill February 7, 2022, and called Consumer Cellular billing February 8, 2022, to discuss removing the E-Bill/AutoPay Opt-Out Fee.

When the rep answered my call, first thing was to ask me for my special code for my account, and I explained to her it had been almost two months since I signed up and did not remember. ". Then she proceeded to ask what I needed and I told her I would like to have this fee removed from my bill and she proceeded to tell me unless I signed up for AutoPay there was no removing it, period!

I told her I get all my other bills…

Monday my cell service was cut off because I was two months behind in monthly payments. Consumer Cellular sent me a voicemail I called them and told them the truth, my Identity was Stolen and my monies gone. I did send them a bill early Monday morning but they said they have to receive the check and cash it THEN I get my cell service back.

” I also reminded them an elderly man who’s been on Social Security Disability since 2014. I think they knew that once. Who knows I may need to call someone who can help me take care of myself. I asked them for 2 months free service but when I speak to them again I will ask for 12 months.

Another rep stated she could not find any cancellation request.

Finally, a third rep acknowledged the cancellation request but told me she would have to "talk to her supervisors". I had enough of the BS and filed complaints against Consumer Cellular with the MN State Attorney Generals Office and the Better Business Bureau.

Both agencies put the "heat" on Consumer Cellular and they finally acknowledged that my cancellation request would be honored! Why fight the facts? Why lie about receiving the cancellation? Why hand up on a loyal customer? I wasted several hours…

My sister in law has been on my account for years and recently bought a new iPhone 13 from consumer cellular to replace her iPhone 5. When she went to target in north Des Moines they called to verify that she is on my account.

After giving my information to the gentleman he insisted that I give my drivers license number after giving him my ssn, birthdate and security code. I don’t think that all that information is necessary. The gentleman stated that he wouldn’t activate the phone for her without my drivers license number.

This whole process has been a cluster from the time we purchased the phone until today. That being said I have had to sit on hold for better than 35 minutes just to talk to customer service trying to activate the phone.

Your customer service used to be very good but…

On 1-2-2022 I received a call at the bank I work for from a mutual customer. She stated she had spend well over and hour with consumer cellular and after everything they went through the issue was actually on the end of the bank.

After taking my time to look through this issue with our customer I found nothin that could be found in our system and began a three way call to help assist our 80 year old customer figure out the issue with trying to pay her bill. After 45 min on hold we got in touch with one of your reps.

She was very kind and was able to determine that the fault landed on Consumer Cellular end. it appears the payment system that is used had been down and was unable to take ACH payments at this time. The customer would need to call back and process her payment tomorrow.

00. I purchased the new box and received it at my home. The instructions stated to call CC to have it activated which I tried to do. , then the tech support dept, then the supervisor which nobody could do so they said send it back.

I plugged in the old box so I would have service and had to call again to activate the old box, they stated could take up to 24 hours. 24 hours later they said they would set up an appointment at TARGET for me to have them replace the sim card.

I went to the Taunton MA store at my scheduled time and the stated there was no Consumer Cellular rep on that whole day. I went home and called 3 more targets and found one where the rep said bring it in.

Account #105636367, I signed up for Consumer Cellelar Service in April 2021, never had any problems until August when my bill was increased without my authority. 00 @ month plan, but it seems phones calls do NOT straighten out the situation.

I have paid these bills because I need phone service for my doctors and prescriptions etc, but do not need an upgrade in my service. I have called every month to change this situation, but the next month bill always has the increase even thought I specifically told clerk I don't want added service.

00 extra for opting out of auto pay, really?. The only reason I turned auto pay off is so I see bill before it's paid (by my mother) as I don't have credit card, because I don't work and am on disability since my colon was removed.

I am behind 1 payment and I tried today to do a payment arrangement. I was told by my doctor to go see the MAYO clinic in Scottsdale AZ. for my cancer. I needed money for gas , food , and hotel for myself and my husband.

I wanted to pay one bill on 12/15 but was told I needed to pay on 12/3. Nothing could be done. For my medical treatment I need my phone to be on. I am so disappointed with this company to turn my phone off over a $48 bill. Terrible!

I've been a customer of Consumer Cellular for 3 years. It has gone well until recently.

My Motorola phone's battery literally blew up. So our local Geek Squad put the SIM card from that phone into a Samsung. All the data transfered Except the phone answer icon on the Samsung. I can call out. Calls come in (ringing & ringing) but I am Unable to answer the incoming calls. I've tried for THREE days to get help via Chat or by phone. Recordings say "due to a high volume of calls, we cannot answer. It will be 30 minutes or more for a rep' to answer." SAME with Chat. How are people supposed to use your service if there is ZERO customer service?

My elderly aunt is a long time customer of your company. We have an issue with her phone that is no longer working. She can place and receive calls but you cannot hear the person on the other end. I contacted the customer service number. After waiting 45 minutes to speak with someone, I spoke with Beverly. She was very pleasant and helped to walk us through all the troubleshooting steps. Beverly indicated the final step before being able to replace the phone was to allow the phone to be on the charger 4-6 hours. If that did not resolve the problem, we could replace the phone.

Naturally, we contacted the center today, after waiting another 45 minutes, and was told that we needed to again restart the phone to see if the charging scenario worked. I live 35 minutes from my aunt and did not…

Really disappointed with the representative given the name( Misty ) Up until this morning I was only disappointed with my finances being held when while my card was being declined by Consumer cellular. I talked with my bank and they informed me that Trans action had been approved.

The lady (Misty) I spoke to continued to tell me my card is declined. Even when I tell her my bank has approved the transaction and Consumer shows each transaction as pending. MS. MISTY WAS VERY RUDE. I PRAY THAT THE INTERACTION WAS TAPED as Consumer says for training purposes.

Buyer BEWARE. Especially if you are a senior. I NEVER get warranties on phones. I also get paper billing. The warranty they put on my phone without my permission was not realized until several billing cycles. I went on the website to see what was up and there was an un-authorized warranty.

I called and was told " we record all phone calls and I will check the recording and get back to You". No one did so I called again, No reference to the recording and they took off the charge but, would not refund the months they charged me.

I was told " you paid for it so that was the authorization" Keep in mind this charge was not on my paper bill. ONLY on line. After 2 months of back and forth I decide to go elsewhere closing the account on the 10th of the month.

I wanted to try Consumer Celular Service and went to Target and purchased a sim card to be able to switch carriers. On August 10, 2021, I called CC to help get more information about the plan and also how to get activated.

I decided to purchase the 35gg plan. The adviser said that the 35gg plan was unlimited data at a higher speed and after I used the 35gg, it would drop to a slower speed. He thought the 35gg plan should be enough for the limited amount of use I used it for but if not I had three choices: stay at the lower speed; pay to go to a plan that had more ggs or cancel.

It seemed that I had 30 days to to try out the plan or cancel. It was my understanding that during the 30 days I could cancel and get a full refund.

HOWEVER, THE REPRESENTATIVE NEVER told me that to get a full…

When I accessed my phone the evening of August 11, 2021, I noted that previously-submitted messages had not gone through nor had incoming messages been received for a couple of days. I clicked on a few other functions and they, too, were not responding.

When the phone was still malfunctioning on August 12, 2021, I called Consumer Cellular customer service. For the first time (to my deep regret), I did not get the name of the individual who responded. The representative, a female, was, without doubt, the most obnoxious and condescending person I have ever had the misfortune of encountering. My problem is my phone quit charging and they made me clear out my whole phone which fixed nothing. I lost all my nieces wedding pix. Plus so they order my phone which will take weeks to get and tell me if its damaged I will have to pay for my new phone that's only 5 1/2 months old.

I'm a long time customer I've never damaged a phone yet. Plus target has my phone in stock I couldn't even do a exchange which would save me big time. I could have got the address to send my phone but no instead I get to wait weeks for a replacement phone.

I dont damage phones in fact the phone I'm using is a old phone. My replacement phone hasn't even shipped yet and it's been a week. Plus now I have to buy a new screen protector which is another expense to me.

I cant transfer to another service they have done everything possible to stop me ( wrong transfer pin, wont unlock sim card, not forwarding info that is needed to transfer phone service) they state that even with me buying the phones they can not unlock sin card because of something to do with apple and only after 180 can they unlock the sim card.

I was enticed to change to Consumer Cellular because they were offering "Unlimited Talk Text and Data" at a much lower rate than my previous carrier. My previous carrier was AT&T and I was grandfathered in to their unlimited program. At Consumer Cellular I have discovered that their "unlimited" is not really unlimited. After a certain amount of data, they reduce your speed to a rate that will not even support streaming music and force you to pay for "speed" rather than "data". Because the speed is so slow the data is no longer the issue. I feel duped.

BUYER BE WARE. CONSUMER CELLULAR IS NOT BEING GENUINE WHEN THEY DESCRIBE THEIR PLAN AS "UNLIMITED".

I will be reporting them to the FCC.

I had the worst dental experience of my life in your Jonesboro office "aspen dental, 2203 Red Wolf Boulevard, 72401, Jonesboro, AR". The woman in charge of cleaning my teeth did not do well in terms of hygiene and used an open set that I could smell bad in my mouth.

The anesthesia was very strong and after the anesthesia disappeared, one of my crown teeth, which I had in my mouth for 20 years, fell out. When I complained to the responsible Dr. about this dissatisfaction, he rudely said that he was not willing to continue treating my teeth.

In fact, I spent a lot of money to damage my teeth .

They resell Sprint (I think) so coverage is good. The problem is that there is a guaranteed wait on hold of at least an hour. If one selects the callback option, they always schedule for the next day.

I am demanding Consumer Cellular pay me $50,000 for endangering my life and the life of my boyfriend. In April 2018, my top blood pressure number went up to 200. I tried to call my doctor 3 times but the first two calls dropped and the third call faded out. The fourth call went thru but my doctor’s office was already closed for the day. I ordered a new phone in April. When it came I had terrible service. Sometimes I could make calls. Sometimes I couldn't. I spoke to several people and was told about the different connections with AT&T and T Mobile. I was told a new Sim card was being mailed out with the opposite service from what I had.

After 10 days I called and complained because I still had not received the Sim card. My husband was going out of town and I couldn't be without a phone. I was told I could go to Target and purchase a Sim card or wait.

I waited a couple more days and then went to Target. As an FYI the Sim card has still not arrived in the mail. After using the phone for just a few days, I received a data warning. It didn't make any sense because the only thing that had changed was the phone and Sim card.…

I'm not very happy with them lately at all.

First complaint, was in an AT&T area and could not get connected, but a member of family was able to connect with AT&T. 2nd and biggest complaint is unable to contact costumer support 3 different times. Tried the call back at 4:00 EST and was told earliest call back would be next day.

Have been on hold waiting till my patience would run out, and I am a very patient person. So at the end of this month will most likely be looking for a new provider. Just overall poor service.
