They resell Sprint (I think) so coverage is good. The problem is that there is a guaranteed wait on hold of at least an hour. If one selects the callback option, they always schedule for the next day.

I am demanding Consumer Cellular pay me $50,000 for endangering my life and the life of my boyfriend. In April 2018, my top blood pressure number went up to 200. I tried to call my doctor 3 times but the first two calls dropped and the third call faded out. The fourth call went thru but my doctor’s office was already closed for the day. My doctor later informed me that with such a high blood pressure, I could have had a stroke or heart attack. Then, in June 2019, my boyfriend collapsed and fell to the floor in a loud thud. I ordered a new phone in April. When it came I had terrible service. Sometimes I could make calls. Sometimes I couldn't. I spoke to several people and was told about the different connections with AT&T and T Mobile. I was told a new Sim card was being mailed out with the opposite service from what I had.

After 10 days I called and complained because I still had not received the Sim card. My husband was going out of town and I couldn't be without a phone. I was told I could go to Target and purchase a Sim card or wait.

I waited a couple more days and then went to Target. As an FYI the Sim card has still not arrived in the mail. After using the phone for just a few days, I received a data warning. It didn't make any sense because the only thing that had changed was the phone and Sim card.…

I'm not very happy with them lately at all.

First complaint, was in an AT&T area and could not get connected, but a member of family was able to connect with AT&T. 2nd and biggest complaint is unable to contact costumer support 3 different times. Tried the call back at 4:00 EST and was told earliest call back would be next day.

Have been on hold waiting till my patience would run out, and I am a very patient person. So at the end of this month will most likely be looking for a new provider. Just overall poor service.

I got one of your consumer cellular phones worked two days ad stopped, when someone called in does not ring but asked leave a message and do not think I had message service. 80 when reported it and no longer wanted service.

ore or several bills not paying $28 dollars for something that did not work. Now adding late payments and demanding payment. Saying turning it over to collection people. I am seriously considering reporting consumer protection and Ohio state attorney general and think I got to Better business burau (Asking if fraud charges possible) phone messages not interested threatening my credit rating.

I have had 2 issues that needed to be resolved, and I have contacted Customer Service 3 times in an attempt to resolve them. On one call, the agent made some suggestions, but they didn't solve the problem, but at least he tried to be helpful. 2 of the 3 times the company's rep put me on hold and never returned. Clearly the person didn't want or was unable to deal with the problem. If this happens once, OK a bad agent, but twice, something is wrong with their training and/or oversight.

Good afternoon to whom it may concern. I have been a loyal Consumer Cellular customer 4/10 years. My wife and I both use your service and by our phones true you. Recently I purchased a new phone a moto E5 play.

Upon receiving it I started to have trouble with it about a week afterwards. I called the service line and spent over an hour on the phone with them. At that point they told me they thought it was the SIM card and they were sending me a new one.

I waited for the car to come and installed it. The problems still existed I then called their service line again spent over an hour again and at this point they said they were sending me a new phone and that I should send back the old one.

I bought a Note 9 from them as well as an extended service contract. I have had to replace my phone 1X.

First time was due to myself damaging the screen. Very prompt and courteous. After i had the replacement for about 6 weeks it gave me issues regarding the charging system. So I contacted them for repair. They chose to send me a S10 + stating it was an upgrade. Not the same phone.

I got the note 9 because of the ability to use a stylus which I use constantly. Now they expect me to be happy with the S10+ that is like comparing apples to oranges. They are both fruit but NOT the same.

I am interested in becoming a customer so I called Customer Service on 8/28/19 and talked with a CS Rep. The Rep. was helpful and answered my questions. I provided him with all the information he requested. At the very end of our conversation he advised me I needed to provide a PIN # from one of the three credit bureaus to remove my current credit freeze long enough to allow for a credit check.

I am being billed for attempting to convert to Consumer Cellular. I ordered a sim card kit to convert my wife’s cell phone. The card did not arrive, so I requested another card. We attempted to activate her Samsung S4 on your service on or around August 14th. I spent over 3 hours on the phone between your company and Verizon to activate the service.

Your customer service setup an appointment for my at the Target store in Conyers for August 17th. The service person at Target was on the phone with one of your technical people and after jumping through hoops was told “That the phone was incompatible with your network”.

This is the 2nd letter I sent to your office and it is August 22, 2019. I am still displeased with your services. I am not getting calls from your office and the issues are not yet addressed. I do not think that I should pay this bill at all.

I moved to consumer cellular to save money on cell. I purchased alcatel flip phone for my dad . had been told we had coverage in our location 39071. service poor but until recently I just thought my dad didn't know how to use his phone 89 yr old.

Has too many of consumer cellular customer representatives that dont know what they are talking about when their is issues that cant be resolved by common communication skills. I tried over 5 times to get this resolved and only 2 of the 5 understood what I was having issues with their telephone service.

I was trying to make due with what I had on hand for replacing a telephone that was acting up on me. THE BIGGEST EXCUSE THEY USE IS YOUR NOT COVERED WITH ANY ADDITIONAL WARRANTY SERVICE TO GET A REPLACEMENT TELEPHONE WHEN ITS NOT WORKING PROPERLY.

On 4/30/19 I purchased a S-10 phone. On 5/24/19 I decided to exchange it for a Note 9 phone. I was told to place the S-10 phone in the box of the Note 9 and place it in the return labeled envelope in the note 9 box. This i did. I have a landline and use Consumer Cellular. Very happy with the service.

However, about 2 months ago I started experiencing heavy static. It is not on all calls. Maybe every fifth or sixth call. Maybe two in a row. Maybe tenth call, no pattern. I work on this landline from home and this has been very difficult.

I have to ask customer to hang up and call back and this usually rectifies problem. But frustrating for customer. I tried 3 different phones and same problem. I called your company and person told me to unplug your device, remove antennae, put back, hold in front of window, etc.

I purchased an Android phone from consumer Cellular. I have had nothing but trouble since I received the phone I am tired of calling their customer service department and finding someone that knows absolutely nothing about what they are doing.

my current phone has been affected since the day I received it. I pay for phone replacement. Today I called and requested that they send me a new phone. All they did was try to change things on my phone.

They wanted to do a factory reset which I would not do. I will not lose all of my settings because they are inept. If there is something someone can do to help I would appreciate it. This is just another example of a corporation who does not give a damn!

On Friday 4/19/19 I was on a call and my phone service suddenly died. When I called Consumer Cellular I asked If I could have 7 days extension for my bill. 47. I was told no, I would need to pay the full amount and I could not get an extension.

I advised that I was in a bind because I was in Seattle and my husband who is disabled was in Redmond Oregon with our 7 year old child and we need phone access. I escalated up kept getting told Nope, pay up or we aren’t turning it back on.

I finally escalated up to Tina. She stayed she was the Call Center Assistant Manager. I explained the situation to her and she told me that she would not turn it on, I was so mad and absolutely dumbfounded that given my circumstances they were so Unwilling to help give the situation I was in.

Called customer service and spoke with Cody. Am trying to change phones and activate new phone. Bought a Motorola pho. from Best Buy. They said had to call you to get pho. activated. Well Cody did not know what he was doing and could not answer all my questions. I am a new customer. When I signed up, no one told me they needed to run a credit report on me, nor did they ask if I have any freezes on credit reports. So, without being told, I am placed on autopayment. When I discovered that fact and called into Consumer Cellular I was told they need to run a credit report with Equifax. So after hours on the phone with Equifax, I was finally able to get a temporary lift on my freeze. I called Consumer Cellular back and told them that my freeze was off. After putting me on hold for a long long time, the rep came back and said my credit was not good enough for monthly billing.

My credit score is between 820 and 850. There is NO reason why I am not being granted monthly billing. And, the Equifax rep told me that my credit report has nothing to do with…

On March 20, 2019, received call from Consumer Cellular telling me $901 was taken from my checking account but they overcharged me $220.

First of all did not give permission to take ANY money from my checking account. I had closed the account in December 2018 and spoke with you all that assured me the account was closed. Then in February 2019, called to say I owed $700 because phone is not off and used cell signals. What?

My cell is junk!!! I told the non empathetic customer service rep, I am VERY unhappy with the battery life of my first phone after 18 months. Yes - 18 months!!! After being fully charged in the afternoon,(without making calls) the phone had a RED signal that the battery was dangerously low the next morning.

If you can sign up for a plan online then you should be able to cancel a plan online. Isn't that obvious? But with the scammy Consumer Cellular you cannot do that. They intentionally make the cancellation process difficult and frustrating. Why isn't this illegal. It should be.

Bought a new phone went to set it up found out my SIM card from the exact same phone older model would not fit. I called the company talked to a very ugly phone operator after being told that I must have broken the little clip that is supposed to secure the SIM card and that there would be no exchange.

Consumer cellular is the absolute worst cell provider. I paid my bill with a check but the check must have sat on someones desk because it never posted to my account, so they shut off the phones. I called and paid over the phone to get the service restored and asked the rep to send back the check but they refused.

SO i had to go to the bank to put a stop payment on the check and then Consumer Cellular tried to deposit the check to make me pay the same bill twice but the payment was rejected so they shut off my phone even though I already paid the fucking bill!!

The last time i called the rep I spoke with said they would NOT shut off the phone when the check didnt clear but that was a LIE! Consumer Cellular- YOU SUCK!! shutting off my phone like that is ILLEGAL!!

I had a samsung 8 cell phone under warranty which consumer refused to repair because they said they could not resell it. and they returned my phoneo me. The replacement phone they sent was a samsung 9. Square trade informed me that my phone was also under warranty with samsung and got me in touch with them.

They repaired my phone but then consumer would not take back replacement phone.

I am a new customer since August & I am unable to view my invoice online. For over a month, every time I click View Invoice I receive this message:

Invoice not available We're Sorry! Invoice Not Available The requested invoice is still being processed. This usually takes less than a day so please check back soon.

When I called support they assure me that this is my problem & I just need to wait. What kind of support is that? Nor, have I ever received an invoice in the mail as I selected for billing preferences. When you auto charge customer bank accounts, you better be able to allow us to view the transactions which, at this time, make no sense to me.

I was with Consumer Cellular for several year . I changed to ATT because your company changed carriers and was not an overseas carrier , it made my overseas calls difficult so I changed. I do not make many calls overseas any more so I wanted to come back to Consumer Cellular !

I phoned about my phone not charging correctly, It is still under warranty. I was told that I would be charged for another phone if it was not returned in perfect working condition. What kind of warranty is that? Return a perfect phone? If it were working correctly, I would keep it.

I spent 3 hours with customer service reps who were not able to tell me how to stop ads from blasting out their ads even when no one was using the phone. No one seemed to know what the other had told me. One told me to call back on another line so that we could troubleshoot the charging mechanism on my phone, I did this, but the next lady I spoke with had no idea and wanted to lecture me about ads on the phone. Consumer Cellular had impeccable customer service until June 2016. Recently, they "informed" me that my cell phone for a senior citizen would soon become obsolete and I needed to purchase an iPhone for $100.00. They further conveyed to me that since I work for a Christian organization, I needed a phone that they could "track and monitor."

Subsequently, I have sent them payments that they are refusing to accept or acknowledge. Please inform me of the government agency that regulates and supervises companies like Consumer Cellular providing cellphone calling service so I can submit my complaint and it be investigated and treated seriously? I have experienced horrible customer service from this company but cannot contact them. It's almost as if this is not a legitimate organization. Does anyone have a phone number or email address to get a hold of them?

Here is my complaint. On January 14, 2016, I, over the cellphone I had been using, informed Consumer Cellular that I did not want to continue my phone service with the company beyond the end of that day, the last day of my billing period. I recently purchased a wifi base for my wife since we were in a wifi dead spot and no cable available. With the delay in billing and not realizing how they bill we had a $488 bill. Today I tried to cancel the service and get a total amount to pay. 00.

They wont take my credit card over the phone so I asked for a bill by mail. After many delays and an additional $5 charge I think I will be getting the actual bill and can rid myself of this awful plague.

I would advise anyone walking up to a Sprint store to turn around and run as fast as possible. I use Consumer Cellular for my cell service and they are great. Best service and great people. Great value.

I recently ended service with Verizon and went to Consumer Cellular. 69 which included an early termination fee. I have had Verizon for at least ten years or longer. This cancellation fee is outrageous and I cannot believe Verizon had the nerve to send out such a bill.

I have always paid my bill on time and have been a loyal Verizon customer. I am requesting this so called cancellation fee be waived and a new correct bill be sent to me. If this is not done, I would like to request in writing the laws or rules that states Verizon can charge such an outrageous fee.

I expect a reply to this as soon as possible or I will contact the Better Business Bureau as well as post this to social media outlets so everyone can see how Verizon does business and treats their customers.

I get these automated texts on my cell phone from Consumer Cellular. I have called customer service to try and get them to stop but they say they have no records. It's actually quite incredible that in 2015 you can not stop somebody from sending you spam text messages.
