I’ve been back and forth for months with credit karma about my refund from my taxes they sent it to and old address and now giving me trouble with reissuing it to the right address. I’ve asked them to cancel it because turbo tax said they would reissue directly to me but they won’t do that either it’s crazy to have to fight for your own money. Horrible customer service.

In order to change information on the account, one must upload proof of identification.

However, to bypass this proof, all one needs to do is request the account be deleted and restart it. With a little social engineering and hacking, one could easily bypass their security procedures for any account. When I attempted to communicate this flaw to them, customer service did not seem to understand nor care.

I was given half assed, pre-written replies that were less helpful than if an AI were responding, and not a single person there tried to validate my concerns. Considering that Credit Karma holds SSN information, you would think they would take this flaw a little more seriously.

Credit Karma advertises and supports predatory lenders. I was pre-qualified for a $21,500 loan at 14%—fast funding. After they made a credit inquiry—which was a big hit to my report—I was offered $13,000 at 34%!

Run from these people! Cancel your account! There are other reputable businesses that offer honest, valuable services!

85 due to the fee for online payment. The agent at credit karma insist that I had to disable my card ending in 2127 and they would send me a new card that I did not agree to. The electric company PSO/AEP BIL MATRIX has been trying to send the funds back however the can ONLY send the funds to the card ending in 2127 which is the card the agent disabled.

The funds are now just sitting in the air and credit karma can see that the company has been trying to send the funds back. I tried to file a dispute with credit karma so the funds can go back to my new card but the agents says the same thing over and over about a duplicate charge.

Hi, I'm a credit karma, card holder (Checking Account) which gets money deposit from one of my jobs bi-weekly. I call customer service April 7, 2023, to complain about money that was taken from my account on April 7, 2023.

the first customer service rep was very rude with broken-English and talk really fast, so I ask to speak with another supervisor. He got mad and hung up the phone with out resolving the issue. So I called back and ask to speak with a supervisor.

92 will be return in 2 to 3 business days. Today 4/12/2023 I call back 3 times, all three times the customer rep, where unknowledgeable and very rude. Two supervisor that i spoke with I still haven't gotten my issue resolve.

I have been getting the run around for several weeks about my income tax refund. I been given the same script by Credit Karma each time that I have inquired about my refund. After several weeks of we are sorry but we have not received any funds from IRS, I called and talked to a representative of the Internal Revenue Service today 3/28/2023.

We verified the routing number and account numbers that the funds were sent to by the IRS on 3/1/2023 to the authorized Credit Karma Bank. They don't have the funds and according to Credit Karma neither do they. Where is the money. Respectfully, Pastor John E. Chalmers Jr

I tried to apply for a prepaid credit card and when I started the process it says that they don’t check your credit, but now I have a hard inquiry from the same card after they said it wouldn’t affect it. This is false advertising and I will be filing a complaint with discover.

Hard inquiries make it harder and mess up your score even more. This is wrong on all accounts and I will not be using or recommending credit karma to anyone.

I called just to verify I piece of information and every time the restated the reason for my call thru were wrong. I kept trying to tell them what I need and they kept telling me something that had nothing to do with my call.

I asked to speak to a supervisor and the rep kept repeating the wrong reason for my call. I ask at least 6 time for a supervisor. I told the rep I didn’t want to hang up and call back which is what I had to do.

I called back and it sounded like the same rep. I asked for a supervisor and she kept saying she had to verify who I was. I said why cant I do that with the supervisor. I’m trying to talk, the rep keeps trying to talk louder than me.

Your site sucks as far as credit scores and keeping up with accounts. You gave me a 742 score 2 weeks ago because I complained about the same thing . Then I got a credit card a couple days ago and then you drop my score 74 points .

That's bullshit and your site only tries to shove credit cards down peoples throat. I've checked my credit with 2 banks and my fico score is over 700 in all of them . So take your scores and shove them where the sun don't shine .

Worst customer service! I was having trouble with my virtual card and needed the fastest resolution instead the worker cancelled the card without telling me which is going to be the longest process possible. Called and spoke to manager and basically said I was shit out of luck even though it was the employees fault didn’t try to fix the problem or help at all.

Don’t do early refund through TurboTax because it takes you to creditkarma!!

Jan 28 2023 I had Aaron's rental took 4 payments out of my credit karma spend account I'm not even a customer with Aaron's rental anymore I contacted them on Jan 28 2023 they reversed the charges as of today Feb 7 2023 they still have not given my funds back all I get is excuses it was simple Aaron's reversed the charges on the same day and it shows on my transactions on credit karma then to top it of there customer service hardly speaks English and you can't understand a word then they canceled my debit card for no reason and

I am filing this complaint because Credit Karma makes recommendations for personal loans, credit cards, and other assorted products that they claim are a perfect match to the client. But when I applied for personal loans, because of the hard inquiries my credit score has consistently gone down when I was told they were soft inquiries that would not affect my credit score.

I have still not been approved for any loans that Credit Karma says that I have a high approval rate for, and the reason I have been given for that is that I have too many hard inquiries on my file. I have been working on getting my credit score raised so I can apply for a car loan, but because of this situation that has not been possible.

I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau for Credit Karma…

Customer Support and their recovery link to reset one's password is not working and I'm getting the total run around. I've provide documentation for verification and all customer support does is provide with the link that I just tried to reset password.

My account has been locked and under review for 18 days now and I wasn’t notified of the situation until January 20th 2023 when I received my turbo tax advance loan and called customer service to see why I couldn’t use my card. it’s been locked since January 5th 2023 the last time I used my card was January 2nd 2023.

I needed to change my email address due to identity theft.

First I had credit karma lock my acct. so no one could access my money” social security “ when it comes on the firsts Then I called to change my email. My money comes and they have ME locked out.

I tell them I have till 1/3 to pay my rent, I’m 65 or be evicted. This is the 3rd time I haven’t had access to my money from CK. They don’t care. They keep saying it’s been esculated to a higher dept they can only contact by email but for me to keep in mind the dept is busy.

They have had my case for a week. The worst part I can’t get them to understand is . The “higher up” dept did not lock my acct they are working on a diff issue , my email change. I requested my acct locked and now.

I checked my credit scores yesterday and discovered that TransUnion and Equifax both dropped my scores by 16 points simply because my TD Bank credit card balance went from $40 to $0. How is that possible? Shouldn’t that be the other way around?

Scores should drop when customers miss or make late payments, not when they make 100% on time payments in full like me. I hereby demand an explanation for this drop before I file complaints with the CFPB against you, TransUnion and Equifax.

This is a complete joke. Credit karma does not report changes and an accurate reporting. Sell and promote credit cards and loans to fit your criteria. It doesn’t help the consumer. I’ve been waiting for an update the was paid off a month and weeks ago. Not reported.

I have read that Credit Karma had performed fraud on most customers, deceiving them have pre approval for a personal loan and or Credit card, only to find out they are not approved, and hurts our credit scores, and there is a lawsuit against them. And after reading about the lawsuit situation, they continued to send me emails, that I am pre approved for a personal loan, I had tried this about 4 times in the recent past, only to be declined, and therefore hurts my credit score.

I am still getting emails from them the most recent one is from yesterday on Sept 9th, 2022. There are no complaints forms to fill out to make this complaints. Why are they still offering via emails about us customers, we are pre approved, and I know I am not.

when I was 18 I wanted to start my credit off strong and wanted it to be as clean as possible. Coming from a low -income family I wanted my credit to be excellent so I could get a car for college or my first mortgage when the time came.

So I did research on credit, a lot of research everything that builds and destroys your credit. I came across credit karma and saw that it had a lot of users and that it was trustworthy so I downloaded it.

I had not gotten my first credit card yet so I started browsing, looking at my options so I could choose the right one and not get denied for it. Credit Karma is a fraudulent company. By this I refer to their claim of helping people build better credit and save money. They have a partner network through which all their referrals are made and their claim that these are my best options for my credit score and to save money are blatant lies.

I get pre-approved and pre-qualified offers almost daily through the mail with interest rates much lower, no annual fees, no over limit fees and 1 to 5% cash back. I have a Discover card that is far superior to anything they say is my best option and a card thru PenFed Credit Union that's even better than that.

I was given an offer to refinance my car payment and save money because they can beat my 10% loan. 5%. I have a personal loan I pay 7% on and their great offers can't even beat my credit…

First and foremost I had issue with my tax return. 60 refund was granted just for them to take those funds. Since then my account was closed with no notification to me. My stimulus of $200 was held and pending return with approval of processing dept.

Due to the lack of communication and order in which Credit Karma operates I will never do business nor refer this company. It’s horrible company to do business with!!! I want my money NOWWWW!!! All of it!!!

First, I noticed that my credit score displayed on Credit Karma was never correct. The site would show one score and then inquiries into my credit score would show something different. I decided to deactivate my account, which took thirty minutes.

I literally searched the entire website several times, even searching the Help Center for an article with instructions. I ended up having to be helped by the chat bot, which was ridiculous. I am sure that companies do this purposely.
