One of the worst experiences that I have ever experienced in my life! I bought the Alienware Auroras r12 for my Nephew for his birthday (October 9th). Immediately, it was clear the PC was a lemon.

First the PC would not boot. When I turned the power all I got was a black screen. After 3 hours talking to a Dell technician, he told me that the monitor was incompatible, and instructed me to buy a new monitor.

I didn't do that because I had tried three monitors.

Second call for help at Dell ended with the person informing me that the video card was defective. So they then sent a technician (a week later) and it turned out that the video card was fine.

However, the video card was not inserted properly, therefore getting no response from the monitor. The technician reset the video card. Then he…

I have an Inspiron 15 model 3511 that was sent to repair under service ID 168523504. The battery and motherboard were replace and since then battery life is 2 hours or less. I also had to do a Windows 11 reset in order to clear several errors that kept cropping up.

I just want to inform Dell about the issues and let them know that their work wasn't satisfactory. We have learned to adjust to the minimal battery time. I do not intend to spend more money on future repais and am unsure if I ever get another Dell. laptop

Pathetic experience. 1. I purchased Dell laptop worth 70k, and in very few weeks the screen broke resulting in non functioning of the laptop. 2. Raised multiple complaints from IVR to call, whatsapp what not, finally emailed their CEO and all Stakeholders as well, which is of absolutely no use. 3. This shows even their top doesn't care about the service!

Honestly - my sincere advise would be even if its expensive go for Mac book or so. Or at least do not ever buy from DELL !!

New PC takes 5-7 min from off to usable. Super slow with any task. Immediately called Dell and they wanted $ to sign up for service. Wouldn’t honor warranty without signing up for services. Took PC to local repair shop and $284 later with new hard drive, works fine now.

They were shocked how this PC made it through QC and was released to be shipped.

Very poor quality of hinge in dell inspiron laptop In two years second time my laptop hinge has got problem in opening and closing laptop due to which my screen has got damaged. Now I have been asked to get the panel changed which would cost around 25000. This is really bad.

I bought a Dell laptop believing that its operating system Windows 11 could be downgraded to Windows 10 as other comparable laptops have. Apparently, I could have ordered such a system, but Dell failed to advertise the fact that its latest laptops do not allow this downgradabilty.

This failure to advertise that fact is Dell's error. I have a laptop that has screen issues that are unacceptable. I have attempted to establish dialogue with Dell Tech Support in the UK, suggesting options and remaining helpful.

However, they have cut me off and refuse to engage with me in any meaningful manner. Not only is this rude, it is not proper business practice. I understand that the issue may be down to the licence agreement that Dell has struck with Microsoft.

I bought a Dell inspiron 16 touch screen computer brand new from Costco. My touch screen did not work from the moment I took it out of the box. I called dell, they said they would send someone out to fix my screen.

I told them at that time that i wanted a new computer since this brand new one already had issues. They refused to give me a new computer. I should have returned it to costco at that point. My computer worked for 16 weeks during my first semester of school aug-dec 2022.

I put my computer up in the spare room for 3 weeks between semsters in my climate controlled house. I got my computer out in jan to use for the next semester of school. Touch screen would not work. Dell refused to fix my computer again without me sending it off to the for 7-10 days to repair.

I have communicated with mr Simran from the Dell Social Media team yesterday and spending the whole night just to figure out what is wrong with my laptop under Simran guidance.

Laptop self rebooting itself,showing red screen texture, hang at dell logo,. Black screen after restarting,. Few seconds into windows will get bluescreen even after fresh factory image restored. To me this is obviously a hardware failure,. Still Mr Simran ask me to perform some task which has to be inside windows operating environment which I can't even log in successfully. To me he is instructing by the book without evaluating the actual problem and he is not competent to be in helpdesk in my opinion.

I purchased a computer for personal use which is only occasional for me. I am on a limited income and this was a real treat for me. What a disappoint. It is nothing but a piece of junk! It takes at least 7 tries over about 20 minutes before it finally opens which is my major complaint.

I have taken it to several places to be checked at they are unable to do anything. Here I thought Dell was the best.

I sent my son’s laptop in for service one month ago and we paid extra for speedy service as he is in college. I was told his laptop was sent to an address in Atlanta, Georgia. We live in Pennsylvania.

I purchased 2 Se2722h monitors from Dell in July 2022. I did not immediately open them due to not needing them. When I opened them, one of the monitors had lines going across it to no fault of mine. I've been transferred between customer support and tech support for 5+ hours and their only focus is well the monitor is 200 days old and pictures of showing box was still unopened still no help.

They want me to spend an additional 160 dollars on a replacement vs sending a replacement. Where is the customer service that will help?

I purchased a laptop computer in May. The computer has been broken more than it has worked. This computer has had 3 motherboards installed. The solution presented by the visiting tech was to once again change the motherboard- which clearly was not the root of the problem.

Now, we wait and I am out of my computer while we wait on first even more parts, then approval to be granted for something that should have been a non issue - replacement. Basically I am still getting the run around from Dell stating there need to be approval - which should have been today. So frustrating and angering.

What a terrible product - followed up with terrible service and no standing behind their product. I will never purchase another Dell and I recommend the same to everyone.

I purchased a dell desktop model D28M003 (over 1000Dollars) about two years ago. I’ve had problems with it numerous times. Within the one year warranty period, I contacted the Dell technical department a few times.

However, just recently the computer had no power. I took the computer in to a reliable computer repair shop. I was informed that the power supply needed replaced. The repair shop ordered the Dell only special power supply (150 dollars).

Upon receipt and being installed, it was discovered that the motherboard is bad too. The total cost to repair would be around 700 dollars. This desktop is about two years old. Because the warranty is only one year, I’m out over 1000 dollars and will need to purchase another desktop. Definitely, not a Dell.

I ordered a computer system. And sales pushed me to buy alot of things I didn't need.

Also sold me a monitor with no cord to fit tower. Had to purchase a hdmi cord separately. And still didn't fit. So the next day had to purchase a adapter. Not good business. Couldn't complain because nobody speaks english.

2 days ago Dell forced me to do an update. It has been 2 days and I still cannot get my computer to work.

As a result of my computer being down, I missed a proposal to a client. My boss just informed me that I am no longer employed because of this.

The message is clear. Dell updating their computers is significantly more important than my job, or me having the ability to feed my family.

My never-ending nightmare with Dell I recently purchased a new work laptop from Dell. I received the new XPS 13 laptop from Dell on 02/13, on 03/15 I started having trouble with the laptop. I contacted customer support on 03/18 regarding the issues.

After an hour the Dell rep determined the motherboard on the laptop was fried. A service order was entered to have a tech come out to replace the motherboard. The rep assured me this would only take a few days.

03/19 I receive a system email stating the motherboard replacement has been delayed until the end of May. I again contacted support stating this was not going to work since I needed the laptop for work. After talking to several reps I finally spoke with a rep that says they will just replace the laptop.

I bought a laptop in November as a Christmas gift for my son. The laptop had performance issues from the very beginning. By April, the laptop wasn't charging. I contacted Dell and they had me ship the laptop to them.

After receiving the laptop, I was contacted by them. They claimed that the wi-fi wire was damaged and there was damage on the back of the LCD screen. Further, they claim it was because of user fault and wasn't covered by the warranty.

Purchased new touch screen desktop computer. Discovered that the left control button on keyboard stuck. Dell service assured me that a new keyboard would be delivered in one to two business days. after no receipt, called and was told that the order needed to be approved and "not to worry," A few days later the robot informed me of a delivery date.

Waited an extra day and finally called for status. Oh, this is an American keyboard and there are none available at this time. Wait time is approximately two weeks. I cannot believe that Dell does not have a replacement keyboard in the entire United States or in India.

Dell has reached a high level of incompetence.

I have Dell Inspiron 7000 series laptop under warranty. All off sudden the battery got no charging and laptop does not power up with out adapter. I have called and send laptop to repair and it came back with same problem.

I resend it and later i was told that there is no parts, so I got replacement. And that had same issue and resend for repair , after a week I got it back with out repair. I DO NOT GET A LOYAL SERVICE OR A SUPERIOR EXPERIENCE OR A GREAT VALUE FROM DELL FOR THE SERVICE.

I have received a Dell Inspiron 7580 laptop as a gift for Christmas. The laptop was ordered in November 2018 and I first started it on Christmas eve. Since the day I started the laptop, I am facing blue screen of deaths. Eight or more instances so far. I have reported Dell on December 28th for the first instance. Recently I purchased the above machine. Today I contacted your Technical Support and the first call was hung up because I couldn't understand your agent. I called back because I needed to know how to perform a hard reset to correct the issue of a blinking red light when booting near my camera and my boot process freezing. The second agent I spoke with knew English better. I explained the problem so the first thing she requested was that I remove anything attached to the machine. We purchased a $2000 Dell computer for our son at Syracuse University and within weeks of the purchase all he has had is problems. Customer service continues to lack follow up and commitment in correcting the situation. He was promised a 48 time frame for a service call and when the time past, he again called and they were unable to explain why it was cancelled internally.

He has been without a computer for a week because it does not hold a charge. My son owned a MacBook for 5 years and never had a day of a problem. Dell has absolutely the worst customer service. I think they need to bring it to the United States where the customer representative understand the issue and get immediate resolution to the situation.

I would never buy a Dell computer again!

I purchased this Dell notebook November 2015. Within weeks, I was paid 2 trips by two separate Dell technicians to replace 2 motherboards! After that the computer seem to work fine until Thanksgiving 2017. Then all hell broke. I have had multiple component failures along with numerous hours of spending time with Dell technicians who took control remotely.

The first time was related to very poor performance, programs crashing, the "blue screen of death", and phrasing of apps and programs. I was no longer able to stream programs. For Black Friday Dell has sent out a brochure claiming half price on its computers. Don't buy it, I mean this figuratively and literally. If a company is not respectable enough to honor the warranty then you are essentially are buying a computer without one. How much of a reduction in price does that carry when there are so many fine other computers out there? My laptop had a myriad of things go wrong with it, in less than a year.
