Not only did they not have my tires, which I ordered using their online service, but when I went in for my appointment they advised they would call me and never did. Not even to tell me that my order and appointment had been canceled.

Poor poor customer service and completely unprofessional way to handle a customer. Never again going to this place much less referring them thru word of mouth.

I have enjoyed great service at various Discount Tire locations around the country over several years with no complaints. Until now. Here’s my experience with the Dawsonville Georgia location: I purchased new tires a year ago. In driving home, I could tell something was wrong.

My inspection revealed the wrong tires (cheaper) tires were installed. Not surprising since the manager was gone and the shop was a party atmosphere. Recently I visited again for a routine rotation/balance. I had an appointment. I waited one hour past my appointment time and my car still was in the lot.

After my intervention I was told that they “forgot about “ me. This location is poorly managed. They’re good on apologies but incompetent on quality service.

I went I to the Cottonwood site for a tire rotation. I bought the tires at that particular site. The tires are six years old; however, since I drive infrequently, and my car has low mileage, I don't need new tires.

The manager refused to rotate because of safety concerns that the rear tires were a bit more worn than the existing front tires and since colder weather is coming it would be unsafe to rotate the tires (even though I don't drive in inclement weather). I have never experienced such a problem, and am always emailed for rotations.

I don't agree with this refusal to rotate, and I am convinced that they just don't want to be bothered even though I have purchased my tires at that site and have never had a problem. This situation is unacceptable in my opinion.

I took my SUV to Discount Tires in Spring Branch, Texas to check my tires as it felt like there was a ball in at least one tire. I bought my tires from them, and bought the insurance on the tires.

They checked and rebalanced the tires and said they were fine. One week later I had engine problems so I had it towed to Toyota on a flat bed tow truck. They fixed the engine problems but then seen one front tire had wires coming out of tire.

The tire was no good. Now why Discount didn't find this problem is ridiculous. My wife or I could have had a fatal accident if it would have blown while either of us were driving . I had to spend $500 at Toyota for 2 front tires which Discount Tires should have replaced with our insurance we have with them.

I visited this place to repair a tire, I asked for rotation and balance, they will only change the tire, but the rotation is due to the fact that the tire is worn out and that is false. I returned to complain, the girl helped me reluctantly.

Had tires I purchased from the college station store rotated only to experience my truck pulling to one side after leaving the store. Returned promptly to explain the problem to Garth the service rep. His explanation was something was wrong with the truck. He offered to put me at the end of the line for them to check it which would have been a couple more hours. His attitude was less than professional hoping I would just leave so I did.

Scott manager at the Maysville rd store just came up to me scudding me of complaining to customers about their service etc and I told him to get out of my face and to back off and I was outside standing by myself when he approached me with accusations and his body language was very threatening and uncalled for .

I asked him twice to step back and get out of my face and to not tell me what I can and can’t say and he needs to be FIRED !!! This isn’t his first time coming up to me like this and I should have called the police because by the way he was standing he could have hit me or something.

Also this place based on his behavior doesn’t even qualify for 1 start !!

Very disappointing service. I have been Discount tire for years and today I have to say how unreliable the service is. Took my car for just tire rotation and they screw up 2 of the rear wheels studs. So they send me to Break Master near by on E Southern.

I make mistake getting involved with taking my car to Break Master(worst service ever). I should have left my car with Discount Tire and let them deal with it. It has been 3 days I don't have car to drive.

I will call Discount Tire Corporate office tomorrow morning to file complaint. I must get my car back tomorrow.

I've been to quite a few of the stores north of seattle over the years, and this was the last straw, burlington WA. Was the final store for me and my personal vehicles, I stopped in wanting a bolt removed from my tire, a simple procedure for any tire store, however the employee came in 45 minutes later and

said my jeep srt was ready, and that they had put my spare on, not noticing that my spare is a 20 inch wheel, I have 22 inch tires on the jeep as is the one with a bolt in it that was un_ repairable according to the employee, I told him I cannot drive a all wheel drive vehicle with one rim smaller than the other three, his answer was OK. , I ask for the manager, explained in detail!

I brought my car in for a patch and they misplaced my TPMS sensor and said it came in without one. They finally said they would take care of it but when they tried to program it the front ones wouldn’t work and they were still trying to say it’s not their fault but they have the factory one coming in. I’m pretty pissed about this situation, nothing was wrong with my sensors when I brought it in and now it’s all kinds of messed up!

I bought my new tires on 4/24/23 at Discount Tire through 7301 McPherson Rd. Laredo, Tx. They broke my tire caps and told me they would replace them in one week. I called following week and they said they lost them. They would order them.

I wait another week and they tell me they haven’t arrived. I call following week and they said they would look for them. Following week they said they had ordered wrong caps. Until now I haven’t gotten a call from them.

They are so irresponsible and I would always buy my tires at Discount Tire because I loved the service…NOT ANYMORE! I am a disabled person and have gone through so much dealing with Discount Tire people including the manager. I believe I shouldn’t even pay for my tires for all I’ve gone through.

I had a bubble on the side wall tire so I called the shop to notify them because I had purchased a full set with insurance. I was told to bring in the car and they would take care of it.

Once I got to the location they checked the tire and ended up telling me they didn’t have it in stock and I drove all the way from Nogales Az 50+ miles. I asked the employee if it was safe to drive and he assured me it was because I would end driving close to 200 miles on it, and he assured me it was.

I got home checked online and it was totally unsafe to drive with the tire like that. I did not even get offered a loaner which I had the insurance for. Had to get a rental because I was not gonna continue to put my families life and everyone else’s on the road.

On May 22,2023, at the 18th St and Camelback location, I had my left ear tire repaired from a nail being in the tire. On May 29, 2023, I came up to Prescott to spend time at our 2nd home.

On May 30, I started my car and the computer told me that tire had gone from 35 to 26. I drove to Discount in Prescott and made an appointment for today, June 1. The pressure in that tire today was 15, after having it “pumped” back up to 35.

Upon inspection, I was told the reason it was losing pressure was that the patch was not done correctly. Discount would replace that tire for free, and advised I should replace the right rear also so that they both would start out with fresh tread.

I called the Phoenix location and talked to someone who said he was an assistant manager. I told him what had happened…

I have Continental tire I purchased 19,000 mile ago. They are worn down to 5/32,6/32, 7/32. This is a problem. I had a nail in the side where it could not be fixed so after Getty a Meg. They replaced that tire.

Then they said I had to buy a new tire warranty. Because I bought one for the bad tire not this good tire. I should not have to repay because I use your warranty. The tires are wearing too fast and I think they should be replaced free of charge.

This is the second flat. Why should I need to buy a new warranty. I feel like these tires are not good or safe and don’t feel I should have to pay to be safe. I have more than one vehicle with your tires on them.

Been a customer for 20+ years. I made an appointment for a rotation of my tires many days in advance. When I got there I was told the wait would be about 2 hours. When I complained and asked why would a company even take a reservation when their obviously completely over booked I was told it’s company policy and that walk ins have a longer wait.

This is such a insult to your customer and shows a total lack of respect for me and my time. When I asked to reschedule I was told the wait would still be the same unless their not busy. I’m sure you know what my response was.

At the 1500 eastgate dr location in Garland/Dallas, I have been treated very rudely and without compassion or respect. My husband works at this location, and there are two young girls that work there (with a very inappropriate social media presence btw). These girls are always going out of their way to say hi, bye or talk to my husband and in general finding excuses to bother him and get his attention. Not to even mention they made an appointment for 4 tires to be installed. Called me, made later appointment, only 2 came in, called back saying 4 came in to bring car in, said wasn't my appointment time so I had to wait over 2 hours.

Car didn't drive smoothly, vibrated badly from day one, finally had time to take back today, told me the tires were not balanced, that's only been couple weeks & very few miles. They were never balanced. No apologies from staff.

I will never take any of my cars there again, as I have done before. I have used this company in my town of Jackson, TN over the last few years and have taken in around 5 vehicles. I just went into the store today and wanting my tires rotated the gentleman proceeded to take my keys, come back with another associate that he was training and to tell me that 3 out of my tires where bad.

Dear Discount tires. I went to have my tires mounted at the store on Midway Dr in San Diego. When I left the tire store as I got on the road they were pulling significantly to the right when I was driving so I pulled over to check tires; there were punctures on the chrome wheels and weight balances attached to the outside of chrome wheels .

I ordered 4 tires from discount tire, 4211 N. Grandview Odessa, Texas, on 04/21/2023. I was advised that the tires would be shipped and arrive at the store on 04/26/23. My wife and I took off from work and drove to the store with is 55 miles away.

I went to discount tire to have the air checked in my tires, prior to hitting the interstate. They kept me there 45 minutes because it's what's involved in checking the air. Happened to me once at same location a year ago.

I'm and elderly female, no gas stations in the area to fill air pin tires, so I thought it best to go where my husband originally bought the tires prior to his passing. Tires are on great shape as I hardly drive it much, big truck.

I ordered my tires but was not called when the tires arrived. I gave the store a call and they told me the tires were not ordered. I go in person and it turns out they did order them and the tires had arrived since April 14th and today is the 19th.

00 dollars off on the continental tires I bought. They told me the discount was only if I bought a set of 4. The email with this discount does not say that. So I was very upset about this. I had also purchased insurance on my previous tires and they told me my tires did not qualify for the wear and tear discount.

Took my car in for road side hazard on my tires and your discount tire facility located on military drive in San Antonio Texas would not honor the road side hazard. They told me that roads side hazard is only good for 6 years of the tire and that I would have to buy new tires ranging from 800 to 1,200 to get new tires.

I called a different discount tire location in Victoria Texas and they said they would honor the road side hazard for my tires. My tire are only 8 years old and have less than 20,000miles on them and these tire are 60,000 tires.

My tires are Michelin premier A/S 225/60R18 and the outside tread is coming off in quarter side pieces. This store on military drive is robbing people blind.

Over Charged and lied to. A routine removal of a nail in the tire turned into a “rusty lug nut” and entire set supposedly needed for the entire car,. 38 charge. I requested my lug nuts that were supposed to be rusty.

We've been conducting business with this location since we moved to High Point serval years ago.

My wife and I were shopping at Discount Tires at ( 4025 Precision Way High Point, NC 27265 ) trying to decide which Rim's she wanted to purchase for her truck.

The sales person I guess get bored with us going back and forth about which would look best and he Ask, ';Well Who's Truck is it'?

My wife got offended and a little Insulted because he looked at ME when he ask the question. I told him it's her Truck she shopped for it and she bought it.

I think it's inappropriate for any sales person to ask a question like that these days. My wife makes more bi-weekly than Him and I put together and frankly since I retired she is the Bread winner in our family.

They first had me pay incorrect and took all money out of my account when I had explained I only wanted to pay half cash and the rest credit. Then they stripped my lug nuts and bolt on 3 wheels.

The excuse given to me is that they are kids working on the car. The fact they gave me that excuse infuriates me. That is not a justifiable answer. It took the shop I was sent to 7 hours to fix what they did to my car.

The first lug nut put on the was cross threaded the tech should have stopped. He continued and he cross threaded I believe 9 lug nuts and stripped the studs as well. Instead of informing someone immediately he continued to torque cross threaded lugs and then pull my car around to me and let me leave with all my lug nuts not flush and they were cross threaded and studs stripped.

I was sent the wrong tires, which were received on a Saturday. I called immediately and they said they would send the correct order. On Wednesday, I called and they at that time told me they don't ship the correct order till the wrong tires are picked up. ( I was not told this on Saturday). I stated the wrong tires were picked up on Tuesday. They checked the system, and verified they were. They then said the correct tires were in a warehouse 8 miles from me. Today is Friday, and no tires. I called customer service and was now told the "order" gets shipped from Dallas and is now in Memphis. Also, the order doesn't even consist of the tires just a disbursement order for the tires 8 miles from my house.

On 3/26/23 I bought tires at the discount tires on Palmer highway in Texas City Texas. The salesman’s employee number was 479 and his name is Mario DB. What an OUTSTANDING employee you have! You need to go out and hire more gentleman like him.

Granted I’ve shopped at Discount Tire for many years but this guy is special. Very polite, respectful and he knows his job well. It was such a pleasure to have him help me. You need to promote this guy and give him a pay raise.

It was such a pleasure dealing with him. My wife was as impressed as I was. net. My vehicle I had the tires put on was a Mazda CX-9. Thank you for providing such a good product. We appreciate it!

Imagine yourself alone at night on a back road, 30 miles from the nearest service station, and 50 miles from a tow truck. You get a flat tire and get out your spare tire to change it. i took my car into a discount tire to get two new tires on jan -21- 23 at the grapevine location. We left and drove down 121 to drop off my grandkids in Bedford, while driving I kept feeling something wasn't right and hearing a sounds, we pulled into a parking lot looking around and didn't see anything so went on to drop off grand-kids. I’ve been a discount tire customer for 20+ years until today. I took my daughter in because recently they found 1 of the rims she bought from them last summer had a defect in it and the rim vendor sent a new rim to replace the bad one.

(I was also going in to order a new set of rims for my truck for the spring) so after the rim was swapped and my daughters car was pulled up they told me $22 for the swapping of the tire to the new rim? I asked why I had to pay for this because it wasn’t my fault we were even there and he said it’s their policy?

A few months ago, I purchased 4 Michelin tires after purchasing 2 sets of Continental tires that did not last very long for my E350 Mercedes. Today, I needed a slow leak fixed on my wife’s CLK 350 tire. On that previous visit the stud was broken on my car and it was a $1000 repair but your insurance company paid the claim.

Erick Wright , the store manager was very rude and came up with a story that the stud was rusted out. The authorized dealer said that was not tru and the stud was cross threaded. Today on 01/04/ without provocation he came to me and said that I was $1000 richer .

During installation of set of 4 new rims they broke 2 of the old center caps that I wanted to keep and they lost or stole 3 brand new ones that came with the rims. They are trying g to claim that there was only one of the new center caps in the boxes not 4.

But this is not true. I personally waxed each one of the new ris with the center caps on the evening before my appointment to have them installed. I put each one back in the box myself. I did not remove any of the center caps while waxing, they do not easily come off either.

I believe they should replace the 3 center caps that they either lost or stole. And since this was the worst experience, being called a liar, I will not return to the auburn store and everyone I used to recommend them to I will tell them how that store ripped me…

I called to see if my warranty was good and if my tire could be saved due to a possibility nail in my tire at Discount Tore on N. Tryon. I was placed on hold without checking back over 8 minutes which is expected.

The worst thing is young lady name Vicki told me she I don’t have a warranty and never got one. I informed her that could be right because I told the guy to give me a warranty with the purchase and I was charged.

She was still stating I did not have a warranty. I told her I would call back, I pulled my statement and they charged me separately for warranty due to they forgot to add at the original sale so manager rung it separately on same day of purchase.

First let me say I am disabled. I told the salesperson, I wanted a set of tires that would wear good in winter and summer, I drive approximately 60,000 miles a year, if that. I needed something that would hold up for a few years.

I gave him the criteria needed. Instead, I started to have problems with leakage of air in my tires. I would find out that the tires the salesperson selected had a history of leaking air. Since I am disabled this person should have known not to sell them to me because of my disabilities.

I had two appointments on 12-05-22 for two vehicles that I own; both services a complete fail! I took my Jeep Wrangler for a 5-tire rotation/balance and a scheduled appointment. My Jeep was returned to me with the spare tire rotated into circulation (as requested), no tire balancing, and my tire pressures were not even checked (reference invoice #1385162)!

When I left the store I noticed my vehicle was pulling right. I checked my tps on my dash and all my tires were different psi and one tire was 9 psi below all the other tires. I called and talked to the manager and was told that only a tire rotation was written up.
