Discover Bank robbery x2 Robbed me twice, courtesy of Discover Bank. Online accounts were hacked/compromised. Found unauthorized transactions on my checking debit card. Called & went through fraud protection, filed a police report, & asked for ALL of my accounts to be locked.

This request was also recorded by Discover. 2 hours later an unauthorized transfer of 7k was taken from my savings account. Notified Discover, filed police report, etc. Discover now says they couldn't retrieve the UNAUTHORIZED transfer so tough s**t. Are they not FDIC insured as they claim?

Is their online security so bad they cannot prevent this? Are their online reps so confused that my last call was transferred to (7) different people with no resolution? If you have any hope of KEEPING your hard earned money do…

I had a supervisor from the IRA department. Call me back today. Told me what I wanted to hear but would not put it in writing my accountant. Wanted something and you guys could not supply me with it. I understand why you might not be able to do so, but you gave me no supporting evidence as to why.

I mailed my payment 12/22 as usual like I've done for the past 30 years. They never applied the amount to my balance. I started a dispute. Sent them all documentation of proof that Discover cashed my check on 12/23/23.

After numerous phone calls and chats, ( I have screen shots) I am still waiting for resolution. I will not pay what they still say I owe or any interest incurred. Dispute #179146147D. Not sure what is taking so long. Beverly

I am a very up customer and I need your help please. I recently closed on a home equity loan. I have had nothing but problems with this loan from day one. This is a horrible company and at least 80% of their customer team members are terrible. No empathy nor sympathy.

I was trying to get a credit back that I accidentally paid of $170 Over my credit limit. I spoke to 13 people, including a manger and my issue was not resolved. I will be going further with legal actions

I have been with Discover card since 1990. They have turned into a greedy nasty company who does not care about customer service. They violate credit regulations and they seem to get away with it. If you report them to the credit protection agencies, they lie and refuse to correct there mistakes.

I had a situation with Mr. Handyman that I was using to put up an awning over my outside entrance of my basement. The area needed to be covered because of water getting into the basement from storms. Mr. Handyman did a horrible job.

They also never finished the project and never got the proper permits to start the job, and since they never finished the work, they never got a Certificate of Occupancy that was required by the town. Mr. Handyman had my credit card on file, and without authorization…

I called to file a fraud claim on 8/19/22. The representative had computer problems for 15 minutes while I waited, said this never happens. I waited and waited on my lunch. When there was no time frame of how long I was to wait, I asked to be connected to someone that had a working computer.

He then transferred me to the wrong department. which doesnt' handle credit cards. HOW RUDE. How unprofessional and inexcusable. Not to mention I could hear his smoke alarm battery alert beeping constantly. Terrible service!

Called in requesting stop payment for a merchant and while waiting for dispute to develop, discover credit card simply sided with merchant and re-charges my account disregarding having approved stop payments on any past or future charges til dispute is resolved. Called in for supervisor and after being transferred numerous times around they simply clicked off on my cry for help. Will not recommend this company to my worst enemy.

) I have been the recipient of countless (over 50) scam telephone calls, obviously phishing for my personal information. These calls are recorded messages claiming to be from Discover, and claiming that the caller will eliminate all my credit card debt.

This is obviously attempted fraud. I know Discover is not making these calls, and that the telephone numbers in my caller ID are spoofed. I have contacted Discover more than once to report this. They admit they are aware of this, but claim they can do nothing about the calls.

I have sent them detailed information about the dates and times of the calls, and the spoofed number in my caller ID. I told them they need to have their lawyers work with law enforcement to have the calls traced, find the real callers, and have them prosecuted.…

I signed up from Discover card because a friend has had one for a while, when I signed up it asked about a balance transfer so I put in the information but never received anything that said the balance would transfer, so when I go the card in the mail I did the transfer again because I never heard anything about the one I did when I signed up for the card.

I spent more time then its worth to try and get one of the transfers cancelled, ok not a huge deal but I ask to have one of the transfer fee credited due to the confusion. The customer service rep said yes just contact us once it goes through and they will credit one of them, so I did that and got told no by a customer service rep and a supervisor.

Its not a huge amount but principal that I was told they would credit but then said no.…

I am a senior citizen and is a victim of elder abuse, identity theft, false imprisonment and use of long arm method and it's still being investigated by the p police and the Depth of Social Services for seniors. I have credit cards that were use fraudently and have informed Discover.

I got a message to call them which I did and I believe Pamela was her name. SHE was nice at first but became rude like asking rude questions gestapo style even knowing what i am going through. She doesn't care and almost up to the point of accusing me of making false claims.

I recently filled out an application for a discover card. I was given a credit line and told within a week I should get my card. When I received my card and called the activation line they told me the card was activated, but I couldn't use it.

I was told I had to provide further verification of income via a form to get a copy of my tax returns, My grandmother immediately said that is not necessary and deceptive practices. She consulted an attorney and the attorney said that was unethical and a bate and switch tactic.

She also has a discover card just open a few months ago and they never required her to provide tax returns. We spoke with Customer Service a Supervisor told us that further verification might be needed because of some red flags on her account, but also stated only Account…

I have not been able to access my Discover Card account on line for about a month now, I contacted Discover Card tech line about it and am told they are working on it but cannot give me a time when it will be fixed. I had a CD come to maturity over a holiday weekend. I attempted to change the maturity and renew it on their website. It would not allow access until Monday (also a holiday). I sent messages to Discover regarding my dilemma.

I got the standard corporate response that the account was renewed for 30 months and did not address the problem I had trying to renew it . I called Discover on Tuesday and explained my concern and was told I could change it but had to open a new account.

I was told I would have to pay an $87 penalty (for 3 days) since it was not renewed withing the maturity time. The representative supervisor was not helpful to my dilemma and kept referring to Discover policy instead of my circumstances.

Worst company ever, had a balance on my card so I set up automatic payments with them directly to pay it off but didn’t notice that when I pay they cut that available balance and make my card look maxed out to 100% month after month causing so much damage to my credit score.

I tried to ask them to stop it and they said there is nothing they can do that the system does what it should do. Worst costumer service I had ever had to deal with. Stay away unless you are looking to destroy your credit score.

99% on my balance which was $2752. They said I was being charged that percentage because of cash advances I had taken out. I told them I never questioned them because I did not understand why I was being charged so much interest.

I talked to a representative and he transferred me to a manager and then her transferred me to a supervisor and on and on it went. I felt I was being given the runaround.

Finally someone told me all they could do was for me to pay more than the minimum payment. They checked their records and it turns out they said they could only go back as far as 2015. 99%. 99%. 99%.

I've been trying practically daily, for a MONTH, to get a payoff amount on a judgement Discover filed against me in 2010. All I get is the run around. I have talked to various departments and Discovers "collection" law offices.

I've heard, "we can't find file, file was sent to different office, the file is on "HOLD", we need 45 days to verify the information, file needs to be uploaded to the system, there's a BLOCK on the file. " And many, many more excuses.

I filed a report on Discovers Integrity Hot Line, what did I get - run around!! Do you think, as I am contacting them to PAY off the debt, I could get any kind of straight answer!!! So fed up!!!!

we have had a discover acct for a few years we have maxed it out and paid in full a few time the last time we paid in full we deceided that credit card was going to be used for emergency purpose only. But i guess thats not allow with discover.

It cost you nothing to keep an acct open it shouldnt matter if a customer doesnt use their card on a regular basis or if they dont use for a year. We were actually planning on using one of the checks that came in to buy a car but now we will just go with another credit card company.

If that is not all we call customer service basically was told to bad just reapply. One why would i ever reapply with a company who doesnt care about anything about money, two i wouldnt waste an inquiry on a company that shut me down for non use.

I put a call in to discover to try to settle because I'm overdue.

First and foremost if you've looked at my account I've never been past due always paid in full never had a problem. We moved to Florida by time I get another job and start paying well I got backed up a little bit.

Hi there, A few months back I received an email message from Discover card's fraud department The message was attached with a list of pending charges in my account. I was asked to contact the customer services department if there were any charges on that list that I didn't recognized.

Last week, I callled to see if I had a b/t offer on my open, 0 balance account. I no longer had the card. Customer service told me they found my account and I had a bt offer. So I did a balance transfer.

My husband called tonight to check his balance and they put my balance transfer on his account. I called to let them know that they used the wrong account. They gave me 2 options. 1st option-- pay off the account.

2nd option, do a new balance transfer and get charged a 2nd balance transfer fee. That would be 2 balance transfer fees. I trusted DIscover to give me the correct acount number. My husbands card has a running balance. I told Customer SErvice my account was paid off.

They gave me no options that would not cost my hundreds of dollars.

I have a dispute that was "closed" on 12/2 according to Discover.

However paypal said they never received any thing letting them know to release the funds. It has been over two weeks and the case is still open. Discover said they would not send anything else to paypal. I cold not believe it, the lady was not helpful at all.

I asked her if she could send me something in writing and she said no, all I am trying to do at this point is get the dispute closed because it is affecting another person. Basically I am SOL. I am done with Discover.

Maybe if they decide to get some customer service I may think about coming back.

As a discover card customer, I am very unhappy with my recent experience. I have had my account for a little more than a year. I have only had 2 payment delinquencies that were due to my being in the hospital the first time and the second time was due to technical issues with the automated system.

I had to call the next morning in order to get my payment taken care of with a live agent. Other than these 2 hiccups, I have paid faithfully on time each month and I have even paid more than the minimum due.

I have requested a credit limit increase twice and have been turned down both times due to those late payments. I think it is very sad that life things can happen in which we can't control but still suffer for it.

I feel like I have proven that I deserve to have a little bit of an increase.…

My complaint is simple: What good is your card if you constantly reject paying for anything "for my protection" making it look like I have gone over my limit. So I realize YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO HAVE SOMETHING IN EFFECT to validate my purchase but what good does it do when I cannot check out?

It takes up to an hour to hear from you IF AT ALL and by then it's too late then the store marks me as a "bad risk" because of your stupid useless antics. We went thru this once already AT THE SAME STORE and I was able to hear from you then but now????

In November of 2018 I noticed charge after charge with ITunes. I have been a long standing customer for years and always paid on time. They just wanted to give me more line of credit. I had numerous calls with iTunes and the supervisor and discover on conference calls to get this rectified.

It was a $4300 charges from someone using my account. iTunes supervisor and I called and spoke to several people. There should be record of it. Discover kept saying they would transfer me and document it. They never helped me.

I just had my card canceled and I have NEVER missed a payment since I opened the card in 2014 and I just paid the account off IN FULL two months ago and they just closed my account. Now, my credit rating will go down.

Great way to treat loyal customers. Not that the person on the other end cares, nor does Discover care because it's just business as usual.

I just received my Discover card. I activated it ok. I downloaded the Discover app to do a balance transfer and said they were having technical difficulties. I called and was told to do it on their website. That's not working either!!!!

She kept telling me that it can't be recalculated and I kept saying that simply can't be.. She kept talking over me and offered No help. I recently became a customer with Discover credit card, but I am having horrible with their billing department customer service. I opened a dispute after purchased super-fake bag from one seller on ebay. After provided all the documents and evidences to help and support my dispute.

However i received the notice that told me their decision was on seller favor and the credit was reapplied back to my account. I had to call them several times.

Finally they admitted that maybe some mistakes and they will continue working on my dispute. Have called for 5 months repeatedly to fix a charge that was never made. It is like a ping pong match, one of these Internet subscriber products that I did not want, did not subscribe to and all know they are a problem (Just Answer).
