The store in geneva nebraska is a joke! There is nothing on the shelves and everything is on carts still in boxes in the isles. If you do get lucky enough to find something no one is at the check out counter to check you out.

I was there today and I could have just walked out with what I had. They were all in the office laughing and having a good time. Other times there all outside smoking. I will never shop there again! And all my friends say the same.

In the last year I have gone to our local Dollar General and this week makes the 7 time this place has been closed in a short few months. I understand help was a factor after Covid hit. Now they just close because they get to many trucks in.

Its to much merchandise to put away an becomes fire hazard. I went Thursday night after work and the doors were locked again with no sign in the door stating they were closed. I went again yesterday afternoon and the doors were locked again.

Maybe if you look at you how many times your stores have to close because they can't get merchandise put up in a timely manner. I would think someone would look at your sales and see that by closing every time a trucks comes in would not be economical.

I was insulted by a store employee and when I told her that she was unprofessional, she threatened me by saying " I'm going to loose my job tonight. I'm about to pull this badge off." I felt threatened and will never spend my money there again unless she is fired.

My mom is an elderly woman and asked the staff if they had a restroom she could use and they informed her "NO" that the restrooms has been without water over a month. She was told she could go out back and use it.

The Dollar general chain in Havana Florida which is located on highway 27 is a very poorly managed store. The store manager Ben exhibits prejudicial or racial views towards white people and the biggest complaint I have is that he doesn't open the store within a timely manner.

For instance when store hours should be opening at 7 am he does not arrive until 8am or 9 am. I also fear for the safety of myself and other shoppers in the community because he has been seen drinking on the job.

He also conducts business in an unprofessional and unethical manner.

Dollar General Store in Jefferson, Tx- First thing happened was I got some orange clearance sticker items because they had a sign up like the other 10 DG I shop it and it states. 50% off already discounted sticker. An employee was smoking cigarettes inside the store warehouse during working hours. I thought it was illegal to smoke in a public building. This happened today 2/8/23 around 2pm at the Palmyra Virginia store 22963 and the employees name is Mary. Not expectable.

It never fails, EVERYTIME I clip my digital coupons and go to any of the surrounding DG stores in my area for those items, all of my coupons do not attach to my order. When I let the cashier know about the issue, they tell me there is nothing they can do! It's so frustrating!

I know that Dollar General stores have minimal staffing in order to keep prices down but would it cost any more money for the employees to be nicer to the customers? I cannot believe how often I have been treated rudely by a Dollar General employee.

Many of us are struggling with finances these days and the DG prices are great but it seems that if you want to take advantage of the savings you have to be willing to put up with the abuse. It shouldn't be that way.

First of all I want to say I understand that Dollar General stores keep staff at a minimum in order to keep prices low. That's fine but would it cost any more for the employees to be nice to the customers?

It seems like almost every DG I've been in had at least one rude and unprofessional employee. I have often witnessed loud and very inappropriate confrontations between employees and customers. These days many of us are struggling with finances and are trying to save money wherever we can.

I appreciate the low prices at DG but it seems like in order to take advantage of the savings you have to be willing to put up with a certain amount of unpleasantness. It shouldn't be that way.

I have been in many dollar generals and like your stores except the one in Wanatah Indiana. It is poorly run if at all. Products are spilled on the floor and the store is filthy. When you say something they blame it on not being able to get help or on corporate policy.

The stocking carts are left in the isles full and the shelves are not stocked. Most of the time you cannot get down the isles because the stovking carts are blocking the rows. There is also rumors that the manager and several of the employies are on drugs (meth).

There needs to be some big changes needed at this store for me to start using it again. I live in a food dessert and this store is only 9 miles from my home. My closest full service grocery is a wall mart 19 miles from my home.

I shop @ 4919 US Hwy 98N Lakeland Fl 33809 in the Barclays Shopping Plaza daily, sometimes multiple times a day and I love the employees but I do have a complaint. I’ve always bought the Drumstick Ice Cream that comes in 1.5 qts. This store had it faithfully until Hurricane Ian hit and they haven’t had it since. I’ve talked to the employees and they said that they don’t put in the orders for products that the main Dollar General does all the product ordering. All the other Dollar General Stores carry this ice cream but they are 5 miles or more from my home. I’ve been buying it at the Walgreens near me but would prefer to get it at Dollar General since I do all my shopping there. Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated.
