I am in the Doubletree Raleigh, NC, Crabtree Valley. The gentleman that checked us in gave great customer service, but it was all downhill from there. My husband and I are still here, and if we weren't checking out tomorrow I would consider leaving.
First, and the least, we received cold hard cookies. Doubletree touts its cookies, and that was disappointing. But the biggest issue is we came to breakfast at 10a. We checked on line AND with the front desk and they told us it was in place until 10:30a.
When we got there, we were turned away and told they closed at 10a. To add insult to it, Victoria at the front desk looked at my husband and said "What? " In a not friendly tone. " Loud enough for him to hear. No apology.
No compensation for the misstep. It gets worse. We came for lunch, to…
