Etsy was unable to verify any of my bank accounts for sale deposits and when I asked what the problem was, I was sent a cut and pasted email with no real explanation why they wouldn't accept my bank account information. Due to too many verification attempts (because no one tells me what was wrong with the statements in the first place), my shop was suspended.

Etsy then had the nerve to send me a "good luck in your future endeavors" email and is keeping the money owed to me. I have asked numerous times how they will be sending me the money owed me and they send me another cut and paste email about uploading a bank account.

The account is suspended and I cannot upload anything. No one reads the emails. How do I get the money owed me?

I would like to file a complaint against Etsy for Due Process violations. On 11-25-23 a buyer filed a case against my shop and on that same day Etsy permanently suspended my shop without giving me the opportunity to dispute the claim brought against me.

I buyer claimed that I sent them the wrong order, when in fact what they received was a free gift that I sent them for supporting my shop which was stated on a thank you card included with her free gift. Her actual order which was scheduled to be delivered on 11-27-23 was still on it's way when she filed a case, and her receipt reflects that fact.

However, instead of Etsy reviewing her receipt and tracking her order, they took her word for it and suspended my account leaving me having to fill pending orders that I had. Etsy never once…

I made a purchase on 15 November 2023 on Etsy and I did not receive the purchase ordered. I tried to be in contact with the seller, who keeps updating the store but they did not respond.

I tried contacting Etsy, I don't get any response. I've opened cases but I don't get any proof that the case has been opened.

Customer service agent informed my wife that "I do not like your people and I do not like your country". That agent and a previous agent hung up on her since they could not answer her questions. Both agents had East Indian accents.

For this company to condone such anti-American sentiment is disgusting! And, obviously, Etsy doesn't care because they make it virtually impossible to lodge a complaint about the company. Will never do "business" with them again...

When opening a seller shop on Etsy u are given choice of individual or business and I am sole proprietor so checked business. Over 2 weeks later after communicating with support at least once a day I finally figured out on my own Etsy lumps sole proprietors in with individuals.

Website would not accept edit and no reply to repeated emails. I had to close my shop get another email just to start all over. I now have to spend hours relisting everything. Chat in India and don't know how to help in any way. Emails are all automated. There is NO support

I purchased 4 bracelets from a seller I know and have done business before. Etsy is blocking me on purpose to prevent me from buying the bracelets. I got an email that said my payment is "processing" and it is because my purchase is being "reviewed by Etsy".

This needs to stop and they are meddling in my personal business. I am wealthy and have money, and they are not allowing me to complete the transaction! This has happened before with them on another account I had. As a result, I couldn't buy them again. It's plain wrong.

Nothing is wrong with my credit card. Etsy just doesn't like buyers buying too many things and it doesn't make sense! They are playing games with me and will not let me purchase my order. It's a terrible policy. The customer service are unknowledgeable and don't care…

I ordered a clay pottery pot and when it came, it was broken badly. The seller refunded my money immediately, they were so helpful. I did want to know if I needed to return the broken pot, so I called your "customer service" number, of course it was not an english speaking country, so I was having a lot of trouble understanding him.

The issues with Etsy began when they'd deactivated one of them. It may have been because I'd displayed the original price tag that was attached to the bracelet via a string.

As a result, I lowered the price to show buyers their potential savings.

When a buyers sends an email to the seller it doesn't state what item is for discussion like it used to so I have no idea what their talking about. Why was this changed?

Also why can' you have the option of giving a review right away like Ebay does? I buy so many patterns and beads that I forget how it arrived etc.

I've set up a new shop Clarissas vintage toy box. 70. This is due to not being able to verify my bank account details due to their system error. There should be a link to add the amount of a small deposit to prove that it's my bank account.

However I've never been sent a link to add the amount! I keep being told that it's been referred to the Tec team but I'm still waiting two months on. The stupid thing is that I've got another shop with the same bank account details that have been verified but for some reason that's not good enough.

And so they're holding on to my money!

The issue that I have experienced was: Etsy suspended my account out of no where. This is a common problem that other sellers have described in complaints as well. Then they have been refunding buyers immediately even though the tracking is showing that the items have already been delivered or are close to being delivered. Buyers have started to scam me and other sellers by waiting until their item is getting close and then requesting a refund.

This meant that Since I have already shipped the products. I have lost a ton of money since I have no way of recovering the jerseys.

I would like Etsy to credit me for all of the buyers that they refunded and release my money that they owe me that they have frozen.

I sold an ring in Etsy in December 2022 and it was still in transit, Etsy are aware of the cyber attack on royal mail and the delays of delivery. My customer was refunded the full amount when the parcel is still in transit.

I also can't claim if the parcel is delivered by royal mail. Etsy said they refunded me because I made a violation on 1 item in my shop, I didn't realise we can't sell amber. So due to this they decided to refund the seller without checking the tracking.

I am emailing you regarding a formal appeal that I have made against the permanent closure of my Etsy shop.

I was very disappointed to find out that the decision had been made to permanently suspend my account.

This was in relation to several listings of mine, which included items that may be prohibited to sell on Etsy.

It seems there was an area of confusion over the emails I received from Etsy, notifying me that some listings were being removed.

In all honesty, I did not fully read the email notifications I received and after having a large percentage of my listings deleted by Etsy, I naively presumed that all of the prohibited items were now removed.

I had an Etsy shop. I had a no return policy, but would consider a dialog if I had made a mistake, sent the wrong item in error, or if the customer had a similar issue. I sold vintage items.

Each listing explained that old items are not new items. Certain wear and tear was pointed out in each listing as appropriate. I sold an antique Qing Dynasty robe that was over 100 years old. The buyer loved it as we communicated before the sale.

I sold the garment, packed it, insured it and shipped it. It arrived right on time. I did not hear from the customer for three weeks. The buyer never contacted me, he went to Etsy and filed a "Customer Protection Program" complaint.

TheSquareNail! I bout a barn November 29th! Delivery by December 20! She made a slip for USPS with tracking number ! The tracking information from pistboffice says item never received! ordered 9 personalized items on 11/4 - was informed they would ship WITHIN 5 business days - expect to received item 11/14 - 11/18 it is now 11/22 and they haven't even shipped. This is despite me inquiring on the 15th at which time I was told they were working on it and it would ship then or at the latest, they very next day.

On the 16th, still did not ship and on the 17th was told They were OUT OF STOCK of the colors for 5 of the pieces - and I needed to chose an alternative color. I asked to cancel at that point - they refused because they already started the order.

Keep saying they are escalating to the specialist team and to look out for an email then disconnect me from the chat.

Have refused never ending ad e mails from ETSY. ETSY now refuses to let me check or track already paid for items, sign in, or review purchased items. I can't change the policy. But I won't use my cash at a company that does this or refuses to allow honest reviews.

Someone has apparently hacked into our Etsy account and has ordered products. We cannot even contact you to stop this shipment! Therefore you are contributing to the fraud that has occurred.

We called our bank and disputed the transactions and they will stop any payment from going to you.

My complaint is that THERE IS NO WAY TO CONTACT ETSY TO STOP SHIPMENT OF THESE PRODUCTS, EVEN IN THE EVENT OF FRAUD! YOU HAVE NO PHONE NUMBER THAT WORKS AND YOU DO NOT EVEN ALLOW CONTACT WITH YOUR STAFF FOR URGENT MATTERS!

All of this is extremely impersonal and is terrible customer service. You have become too large and we have cancelled our account with Etsy. Our friends and family will know about how your system is subject to fraud and that you are impossible to contact.

If I could I would get the Etsy platform -1,000,000 stars. It’s honestly really disappointing and ridiculous as a small business owner. I’ve been selling on Etsy for a little bit over two years now and I have been really successful.

But it seems like they almost target successful small business owners. Ever since I started to get good sales on Etsy they have constantly made it a nightmare for me to use the platform.

I was charged on 2 different cards for an order as it was saying denied on my cc I use online payments all the time!!!!! So I used another card that I do not use and it went right thru!!!!!!!!

I then looked at my accounts and noticed two charges on my card so guess it did go thru!!!!!! I was on the customer service support for over 3 hours to get one charge off my credit card!!!!!!!!!!! 3 hours to refund my money!!!!!!!

Can you no longer say take a charge off of one card and charge the other???? I declined a sale on ETSY as I no longer had the item. I communicated this to the Buyer and completed the Refund function on ETSY. As I had no more inventory, I closed my ETSY account and thought nothing more of the incident.

I just received a direct deposit from ETSY for the sale that I declined. Apparently they continued the sale, took the Buyer's money and sent it to me. This is outright FRAUD and I do not intend to be a party to their fraudulent practices.

I had opened a shop with Etsy and had a range of products which I designed myself and then they were made with the help of a printing company for production assistance – this is stated in there policy that this is allowed. Through this shop I had made sales to very happy customers and understood that being a new shop owner Etsy puts any sale funds into a payment reserve for 90 days in which after that the payment reserve is lifted and the amount in reserve is available for deposit into the shop owner (in this case myself) bank account. I am tired of my password being changed and getting locked out of my account. I have this happening more and more where I buy an item and Etsy cancels my order and locks me out of my account. I then have to go and complain so they can send me a new link to change my password. Yesterday I had to do this twice and at the end of it I got locked out of my account with all my shopping history vanished. I don't have this issue with Amazon.

Etsy needs to invest in hiring people for customer service instead of going back and forth emailing on the computer. As much as I love shopping on Etsy, their "security" and lack of customer service is forcing me to shop elsewhere.
