Booked a car rental to SFO, I live in Orlando, FL, my flight to SFO was cancelled due to hurricane Ian, rebooked for 2 days later. I contacted Expedia requesting a refund, they said they will escalate my request, after 2 days they came back saying that they will not refund because I already pick up the car, not because it was s non refundable prepaid reservation but

because according to them I already had the car, contacted the car rental and they confirmed that in their system the car was never picked up, Expedia lied right on my face, no consideración on the emergency of the situation, dealing with a hurricane and trying not to lose 478$, money back was denied.

They do not have any consideration what do ever under the circumstances of a natural disaster, very disappointed.

Below 5 stars. Website doesn't even list an active phone number with an active area code. In fact no area code at all.

I booked a room through their website during an active hurricane and governor orders for a state of emergency and my family decided to go else where so we decided to cancel within the hour of making the reservation. I've been online with an Expedia virtual agent for a long time now. Screen shots to prove it. All in all. I booked a room and within 30 minutes had to cancel. I purchased the additional insurance as well through Expedia and that company can't be reached either. I spoke to the hotel that I booked with and they said that had I booked through them there would be no issues refunding my purchase and that they would have even given me a better rate. 00 for insurance. So I called Expedia to cancel. 00 for a rental that I didn't use. I even had to pay for the insurance even though I didn't qualify for the insurance because I was a Tampa Florida resident.

They had on file that I called to cancel. But all they can tell me it wasn't canceled. This is a scam, don't book with them, call the airline, car, or hotel directly. Don't waste your money with these scam artist.

Im telling everyone i know how awful they are, they have zero accountability. Now I'm stuck paying for a rental car that I never used, and the car insurance that I didn't qualify for. But I can't get a refund on any of it.

On June 24, 2022, we (Emma and Peter Dinolfo) booked round-trip tickets from Expedia for a JetBlue flight operated by American Airlines, to Charlotte, NC, departing from Newark, NJ, at 5:00am on August 3, 2022 (Flight AA2505) and a flight on United Airlines from Raleigh, NC, to Newark, NJ, on August 4, 2022, at 6:47pm (Flight 76). The price for two (2) travelers totaled $690.40 (round trip). The price for the two going one way totaled $317.20. Coming home, the price totaled $373.20.

26, 2020 because a Cruise out of BOS had been cancelled. Received a credit of $461 good for a flight on DELTA good until 12/3/2022. Credit was on my trips through Expedia. On 09/15/2022 I decided to use my credit.

Went on Expedia web site booked a RT flight on 12/3 from SEA to VAS returning 12/07. I had a small credit that Delta would keep and then the web site booked a flight from SEA to BOS for Oct. 26, 2020.

And it remains an active trip. I WANT MY DELTA CREDT BACK.

On July 31st I purchased a plane ticket to fly to Prague to visit my ill mother. I was supposed to fly with Lufthansa, booked my flight through Expedia. Purchased insurance and paid for my seat selection. Was supposed to be flying on September 26 /2022.

On September 9 I received an email marked UNRENT asking me to call Expedia immediately. I called the number provided right away. I was on hold for 2 hours only to be told by the Expedia agent that they have access to my files.

She said don't call us back we will call you. They did not. then I was told that they have to issue a new ticket since there have been changes by the airline and I had to fly back on a different day.

Didn’t know that there was a $75 pet fee and I told the clerk that I was not going to pay and that the dog was spending the night in the car. Didn’t sign the form she handed me and gave her no authorization to bill my credit card for anything other than the security deposit.

She billed me anyways and I phoned them directly and was told the manager was not in and that I would have to phone her tomorrow. The room cost me @$250 with the pet charge and I feel that it was not a pet friendly hotel and they stole the pet charge from me when my dog spent the night in my car.

I feel that they advertise that way to gouge customers with an exorbitant amount when travelling with pets! To bad as I thought the hotel was nice but the clerk was a bag

I am writing to the company in regard to my booking and stay at the Grand Hotel Suites in Venice, Italy September 9-10. Confirmation # 19507984. My husband and I stayed one night at the hotel and he was bitten by bed bugs over 30 times all over his body including his face, head, and neck. This level of safety and sanitation is absolutely unacceptable, and I felt compelled to provide this information to Expedia before writing a formal review to the Better Business Bureau. I asked for información via Chat Live of Expedia and then I checked it by phone before buy the flight ticket, but after I bought the ticket from Perú to Narita Expedia told me that I couldn't make a stop over because itc was not permitted. My problem was solved by United airline, they made the date change but I have to pay 135 dollars for the change and 50 dollars for Expedia because I bought the ticket on their website.

I think it is unfair to pay extra because I asked Expedia before buy the ticket and they gave me the wrong information and they have to refund me the extra payment I made.

If I bought a ticket I could make the stop over and change the date flight conncetion, but it was wrong because after I bought my husband ticket to Narita I phoned you again to make the change and you told me that it was not possible.

Compré una estadía de dos noches en un hotel a traves de Hoteles.com. (pertenece a EXPEDIA). Me la cancelaron por la pandemia. Me dieron un cupón.

Quise usar mi cupón para comprar la misma estadía en el mismo hotel para el 3 de octubre. Y resulta que, lo que pagué en su momento 311 usd ahora me lo quieren cobrar 1464 usd...! Tengo que poner mi cupón de 311 usd y pagar encima 1.153 usd.

Entiendo que puede haber modificación de tarifa, pero más de 4 veces... Es una locura! Solicité me autoricen a utilizar mi cupón en otro hotel o me reintegren el dinero y me contestaron que NO y no solamente eso, sino que tengo hasta diciembre para usar el cupon de lo contrario lo pierdo.

Unbelievable! I called to try to cancel one-way of my two-way flight. I was on the phone for 4 1/2 to 5 hours spoke to four different representatives on hold the majority of the time. Every time I called I made it clear what flight I wanted to cancel that I did not want to cancel the return flight and I wanted nothing done to my husbands outgoing or home going flights.

Every time I was told it was canceled but received no email confirmation. Every time I called back I was told it was not canceled and this repeated four times until the final time I was told that both my husband and my flights were canceled and that we could rebook them at a higher rate.

It is still not showing any sign of cancellation on their app. I have been told however that I can rebook at a significantly higher price…

Our stay at this hotel was completely unacceptable and unsatisfactory. The front desk staff told us we'd have to take up our complaint with Expedia, since we booked through them. They told us they could not address our complaint and request for refund until we contacted Expedia.

I booked a trip through Expedia, from a flight to rental car to hotel and return flight all to go see my brothers graduation from basic training in Fort Jackson South Carolina. I've used Expedia a number of times I've had an account through them for over 2 years.

They're usually the best prices and customer service is generally quick to help resolve any booking issues I've had.

I had an itinerary with a friend of mine. The airline canceled my friends flight but not my flight so automatically Expedia canceled my flight just days before I was supposed to fly out. I spoke with a supervisor who confirmed and had me pay for a new flight and sent me an email confirmation that stated I will be reimbursed for the difference.

I keep calling and going through the process of every person I spoke with to put me on hold to read the comments for 11 weeks and now to be told I will not get reimbursed. They landed in Addis last night around midnight local time via Turkish airline. But they have been told that their luggage will arrive after one or two days. I have tried multiple times for a total of almost 2 years to try and get this sorted. I have waited up to an hour each time I call and multiple times the callcentre operator has sent an email to someone higher up the chain and they have assured me that they will ring me back or email me back. To date, no one in almost TWO years has contacted me back.

I had a flight booked in 2020 which was cancelled because of Covid 19. I have credits thru Expedia for JetBlue and United. To book a flight using the credits you have to call Expedia. You speak with a representative from another country, who put you on hold for over an hour hoping that you will hang up.

The customer service is the absolute WORST I have ever experienced. I booked an airport pick up through Expedia and the shuttle did not show! I called and they said because our flight was delayed they left even though I called them ahead of time and got an email that said “We track your flight, if there is a change to your flight status you do not have to do anything “ I called to get a refund from the shuttle company who said I have to call Expedia.

I called Expedia and cannot get through to anyone and their automated system keeps telling me to call back later and then HANGS UP! No option to speak with a rep. This is total fraud! I paid for a service I did not receive.

I had to cancel 3 flights with expedia due to covid 19. com once logged into my account. The huge problem is that now I am COMPLETELY unable to use the credits.

First off no option appears when you use the site to use your credits. So I went ahead and called Expedia and talked to 4 agents! All said that Expedia does not offer credits, they are unable to explain how the credits appear on my account page.

They refuse to help me any further. 2 of them hung up on me out right and 1 other refused to transfer me to a manager. The last one transfered me to manager just to be told I have to wait 72 hours for me complaint to be escalated! This is robbery!

I booked my hotel Monterey Tides in november 2021 to make sure i have the best rates and nice room . Stay was from aug 21-23 2022, confirmationnr 72199438932822 I got an email with the arrival info days before, from expedia on behalf if the hotel.

When i arrived, you cancelled my booking. There was no reservation, and only one room left for higher rate and only partial ocean view. Just one queen for my family of 4. Customer service from expedia said it must have been a ‘glitch’ in the system.

They cancelled my reservation and filed for deposit. I ended up being forced to book the only room left and pay way more for way less, due to the mistake of expedia. I am filing for an extra refund for the extras this cost me.

I checked my email Sunday Aug. 21 and noticed Expedia had cancelled my flight ABON962332 Charlottetown to Toronto to MTL . They refunded me the amount of the flight and told me to rebook. No explanation was given for the cancellation.

This was very disconcerting and I had to cancel my hotel reservations in MTL at the Bonaventure plus an overnight stay in Charlottetown. This took 1 1/2 hrs of my time. I would like to know the reason for the cancelation.

I am trying to obtain a K-1 visa for my fiance in the Philippines. I live in the U.S. My trip to the Philippines was to complete the K1 process and visit with my fiance. I booked my flights through Expedia. Two itineraries but one trip: Itinerary #1: confirmation ZEECAI Flight 371 from MSY to DFW. AMERICAN Airlines. Itinerary #2: confirmation PWM7PK Flight 2371 from DFW to eventually MNL. UNITED Airlines. Flight 371 was delayed then eventually canceled leaving me with no way to get to my next flight. I had to cancel the entire trip. And now, because of Expedia it would cost an EXTRA $4,000 to $5,000 to make the trip. You need to make this right! It was supposed to be a fun, enjoyable time. I was researching a get a way package, and when I found an ideal itinerary, Expedia advertised the option to Book now Pay Later. So I tried to use that service, but when I got to the payment options field, the Book now Pay Later option was not offered.

I asked a customer service rep about using that option and was told I had to provide my credit card details in the payment filed in order to be able to use the Pay Later option, it seemed odd to me, but I trusted what the agent had told me to do, and used my credit card.

I booked the mentioned above... it's not a hotel, it's someone renting an apartment! I was giving the wrong information about the hotel, like the following 4 items are included in the cost we are paying: 1 - The booking comes with Umbrellas and chairs for my 5 members family to be used on the beach. 2 - There are beds for the five of us. 3 - Beach passes for the five of us. 4 - Sure, you can have early check-in.

I was traveling on Miami , FL , on June with my wife . We book the hotel through Expedia. On first 10 minutes on the hotel one of the hotel employee stole my wallet. I call Expedia to complain, they don’t ever call the hotel to check if the complaint was real .

I call the banks to stop my credit cards and after I call the Miami police. My wallet was “found “ by next shift employee on the floor of lobby 6 hours later. Next morning the person who checked me in said he had the wallet all the time, he place by mistake next to the printer .

He never was on possession of my wallet, he had my CC and my driver license for check in . I had the wallet on my back pocket. He offered to walk us on our room to see if is ready .

com. com Reward Night and I called in because I had received the credit for a reservation at the same hotel for the following day and it was also a pay at the hotel reservation. I pointed this out to at least 3 or 4 different agents and they all just kept saying it takes up to 35 days for the credit to post to your account once you have completed your stay.

I repeatedly asked to speak to a manager and not one person would transfer the call to a supervisor. Not one person was willing to look at the reservation to see what the problem was, and I was told by the first agent…

I booked a package trip with flights and hotel and upon arriving at the airport there was no airline tickets for my wife only for me. I called Expedia and they said they made a mistake and did not book my wife’s ticket and asked me to book a new flight so I did and they were pricey.

I was asked by them to email the receipts of the flights I purchased and now there trying to blame the airlines and they don’t want to refund my money. I’m out over $1000 in flights thanks to Expedia and will never use them again. They are CROOKS!!!!

I do all my travel arrangements in Expedia. I purchased a ticket to fly Ft Laud- Raleigh-Durham. NC on July 22. But the convention was cancelled. Itinerary # 72268359407093. I was told that I would get a credit in Delta Airlines of $317 which is the price I paid for the ticket That ticket price was on the Expedia website when I purchased it.

I tried to use that credit to go to the same location but this time on August 16 returning the 17,2022. I was informed by one of your agents, that In order to use the credit of $317, I would have to pay $100 penalty and $178 for the difference of what the ticket costs now.

That would have been $595! When I looked at the ticket price today, The price was even cheaper than $317 it was actually $250 . I mentioned the fact to the agent and she told me that…

I had flight credit from West Jet and made 7 separate phone calls trying to use my flight credit. After spending hours and hours on the phone, Expedia failed to get this processed. Poor business

My return flight got cancelled and I have been calling Expedia to reschedule it and I have talked to over 7 different ppl in different countries and NONE could help me. They simple say there is no other option in any other day. They leave me waiting for over 30min on hold giving NO update, no solution or anything.

This is ridiculous.

The WORSE call center I have ever contacted. My return flight was suppose to be tomorrow and I have no solution what so ever.

I called to get help with my United credits. The man who picked up claimed his name was Ritik. He claimed something specific about the terms and conditions of the credits, but when I asked him if I could see the documentation, he told me that is impossible (really???).

At this point, I asked him to connect me to a supervisor or someone else. At this time, he repeatedly yelled over me, put himself on silent for 10-15 minutes or more at a time.

I asked him to connect me to someone else multiple times, and was rebuffed either by being yelled at or being given the silent treatment. Until eventually, he put me on hold for about 30 seconds and then claimed to be Manish the supervisor, and didn't even try to hide the fact he was the same person (background noises and voices were the same).
