We purchased plane tickets on Expedia and we chose British Airways. Unfortunately, due to two COVID travel restrictions and cruise cancellations we had to change our tickets twice. The second time we were not able to use our scheduled flight as Italy made a last-minute change requiring anyone who even transited through Great Britain had to quarantine for ten days.

This was not our fault. We begged Expedia for help. Every British Airways flight transited through Heathrow except for one that said "British Airways operated by American Airlines". When we called we were told that it had to be a British Airways flight.

I have requested an invoice for my stay on over 7 occasions now. Admittedly i had lost my confirmation email and struggled to supply relevent information but was originally able to supply name, dates, email address and phone number to no avail. After several attempts and with no real success from the Expedia customer portal I rang the Hotel i stayed in directly to obtain my Expedia booking number, Hotel booking confirmation number and have since supplied these details also.

Again apparently no one can help me. You seem to have enough details to take my money but not supply an invoice. I bought a plane ticket from Expedia. My ticket was canceled by the airline before the flight departure date. They said they would be refunded. But the money did not go into my bank account. I contacted the airline and they said the refund was made to Expedia.

I contacted Expedia, but they said that the airline deposited it into my bank account. I checked my account, but the money was not in my account. I contacted again, they said that I should contact my bank, I also contacted the bank, but they confirmed that the money was not deposited.

I contacted Expedia again and threw evidence that the refund was not made, but they repeat that the refund was made despite the multiples.

booked flights from CMN to SFO with stop at JFK. Flight AT200 on October 31 was rescheduled to depart 3 hours later,that gave me only 1 hour 35 minutes to change planes. Gates to flights close 15 minutes before departure.

Therefore I couldn't make my connecting flight. Incurred expenses because of the delay. Would like documentation for the delay for the travel insurance. Royal Air Maroc says its American Airlines responsibility to provide the information. American Airlines says that it's Royal Air Maroc's responsibility.

Expedia had American Airlines write the ticket. It's a merry go round. PLEASE HELP ME WITH THE DOCUMENTATION THAT I NEED FOR THE INSURANCE. I HAD A LONG CHAT WITH EXPEDIA ABOUT THIS ISSUE BEFORE THE FLIGHT AND WAS TOLD NO PROBLEM. AND THERE WAS ONE.

Reserved a rental car as part of a package deal with Expedia. We got to the rental desk with Thrifty and we may aswell have not had one ‘reserved’ as we had to go through the entire process there. During the process the gentlemen who seemed to not entirely know what he was doing, ran my credit score and deemed it to not be good enough to pick up the rental car we reserved despite it being over 700.

I’m not entirely sure what they deem to be a good enough credit score but if I can buy my house then I’m sure it’s high enough to rent a compact car for four days.

This is the letter I sent to Expedia. I also have screenshots of customer service wait times of almost 3 hours. Representatives on chat that call you back and have you on hold for over 2 and a half hours and then hang up. You can't call back on the caller ID number they called from and despite they know they have had you on hold for hours and they have your number they make no effort to call back.

The purpose of this email is to request a refund or airline credit. It is also to complain about poor customer service and the inability to contact customer care when needed to cancel a business-class return flight.

I have been informed by Turkish Airlines that the flight from IST to VIE on my ticket from BKK has been cancelled.

I have tried to use the Manage Reservation to reschedule the corresponding flight - to no avail!

I have approached the Turkish Airlines office in SGN to request a manual change - to no avail, again! They claim this is an Oman Air ticket and they should be dealing with this issue. Oman Air remains inactive...

We booked air tickets up and down from Hyderabad to sanfransico, on 10/06/2022 our flight AIR INDIA ( AI698) from hyderabad to mumbai got delayed and due to this we are unable to catch the connective flight BRITISH AIRWAYS at mumbai to London. Hence we booked the tickets from other Air ways from Hyderabad to Sanfransico.

Due to above reason our down words tickets are also cancelled by British Airways on 10/07/2022, again we booked through other air ways from Sanfransisco to Hyderabad.

On September 14th, 2022I attempted to rent a car through Expedia (using SIXT as the car rental service). I put in all of the information, including my credit card number, but a message appeared to the effect that "there was some problem, you need to try again". Which I did. With the same message coming up. I ended up renting the car in Orlando through a different mode.

Shortly afterward, I check my email and saw that the transaction has indeed gone through, contrary to you error message - twice! I called Expedia, and was told I must call SIXT. I called SIXT and was told that they needed to have an agent to agent conversation with Expedia. I called Expedia back and they didn't know what to make of it.

I changed my booking date and paid the difference in the ticket price and got ticket conformational email. After 2 day, I called Expedia and the agent told me the ticket was issued and confirmed and you don’t have to pay any additional fees and also sent me a conformational email. I have booked several trips thru Expedia and have never had a problem.

However with this new trip I booked in Sept, I am highly annoyed. Let start from the beginning. The trip is booked for 4 couples going to Montego Bay Jamaica on Feb 14th 2023. Everything was good until I went on and check the trip and Sprirt Airlines had cancelled our flight (not sure how long it was cancelled) and not 1 of couples on this trip got an email stating flight was cancelled.

I immediately called Expedia and the person I dealt with wasn't much help at all. She told me I had to call Spirit myself and request a refund and than book my own flight to Montego Bay. Needless to say the trip now has cost me another $150 to switch flights and about 5 hrs of my time on the phone trying to resolve this issue.

I made a hotel reservation with Expedia, within 5 minutes of confirmation I realized the dates were wrong. I immediately contacted Expedia and they said they needed to check with the hotel for approval on a modification of the reservation.

That is not true, the hotel is not able to modify the reservation and it is ultimately up to Expedia to make the modification. So now I am forced to make another reservation and ultimately pay double for a one night stay.

All Expedia was willing to do was site their policy, ridiculous. I work in customer service and there is always something that can be done to assist a customer. com is so accommodating.

My husband and I got off to a terrible 20th anniversary today due to Expedia not transferring our prepaid credits to American Airlines for our trip. We were told by an expedia agent that our flight was confirmed and we were even allowed to logon to American Airlines and reserve the flight to include picking seats.

We arrived at the airport today to find out our credits were never submitted and the only way to keep our seats was to pay American Airlines out of pocket - so much for our planned excursions. The Expedia representative was unable to help and could not find any flights, so of course we were not going to miss a day of our planned celebration.

If there’s a way for us to be refunded it would be greatly appreciated to offset the more than triple price we had to pay for the flight…

I inadvertently booked a room through Expedia at the Canad Inn in Grand Forks, ND. I would oh lost money with a cancellation!! It was for 2 queen size beds. I told the person there were no children. He wanted to give me a theme room.

The customer service rep was unprofessional I asked to speak to a supervisor numerous times he put me on hold never returned with a supervisor each time he came back with something different. He kept disregarding the fact that I was asking to speak to a supervisor.

I just phoned Expedia to upgrade my seat on my Flight to Mexico City/Huatulco with Aeromexico/West Jet. I booked a room online through Expedia and the dates were fixed for 2 weeks later than the date I needed to check in. I did go in and change the date manually however when I got to the hotel to check in I was told they were booked and that my reservation was made for 2 weeks later.

I used the online form to book a car rental, and booked from Ohio to Illinois. I specifically asked to be able to drop off the car in Illinois. No problem finding rentals, and all was good. I showed up to pick the car, and was instructed by the person, that the rental was in fact to be returned to Ohio.

When I told her that was not what I ordered, the girl did her best to rescue me from the dilemma, but it did it couldn't be resolved by her, as it was booked trough Expedia, and to further my problem it couldn't be changed. I then called the rental carrier, and was advised to change the drop off, after renting the car, which didn't go well either.

I then reached out to Expedia, and again was told that it wasn't their problem and nothing more could be done. No refund, no help nothing.

Unacceptable Exact trip exchange policy.

As an Expedia Gold customer for years, I find a recent practice by Expedia its partner Royal Air Maroc to be deceptive and unacceptable.

My flight from Istanbul to Fez on Royal Air Maroc (Expedia itinerary 72200167487615) was cancelled by the airline when all borders to Morocco were closed due to Covid 19. A full value airline credit was promptly issued.

However, when I tried to use the credit, the Expedia site prompted me to apply the credit to ANY Royal Air Maroc flight (using the "find flights" link in the airline credit listing.

This online process inaccurately applied the two credits stemming from this cancellation. Upon calling Customer Support, I was informed that the credit was only good for flights from the original flight origin,…

Either Expedia or Budget screwed up on my reserved arrival time and even though I had confirmation and the agent said that the time showed up on my reservation, I was told I had no option other than to cancel my reservation and re-book, which cost me an additional $100.

Budget claimed it was Expedia's fault and wouldn't do anything. Expedia claimed it was Budget's fault and wouldn't do anything. It's unbelievable that I'd be penalized for an error that wasn't my doing!

I dealt with a virtual agent named Leo who was entirely unhelpful. He lied to me several times, making false excuses such as saying that I booked my seating arrangements on another website when obviously they were booked on Expedia‘s website.

He also said he wasn’t able to contact one of the airlines because they were closed. Immediately afterward I called them and found that they were open. Several other instances like that. He wasted about an hour and a half of my time.

This person needs to be reprimanded. Fortunately I was able to get a helpful agent next but if that hadn’t happened I would’ve never used Expedia again. And I’m still having my doubts about it actually.

I had a reservation for a hotel room in Rochester for the night of 10/14/22. When I arrived, dropped off by Lyft, There was nobody at the front desk, just a note that said they were full. When a front desk person finally arrived, he confirmed this, and said their sister company hotel was also full.

I had no car, no room, in a town I had never been to, at midnight. I ended up spending more money on Lyft, to take me to a Denny's restaurant, where I spent the night drinking coffee.

We had a trip cancelled last year (due to Covid) and Expedia gave us flight credits. So today, I tried to utilizes one of the flight credits for my son because it was booked under his name. We had $565 worth of credit to use so I found a roundtrip ticket for $635.

After about 30-min of digging through the Expedia website on "How to use flight credits", I finally had to call the help line. OUCH!! but it cost over $150 more!! I had to speak to 2 lower level phone operators and ultimately one 'supervisor'.

I'm not racist and I don't believe in "killing the messenger " but everyone I spoke with used English as a second language and were VERY hard to understand and to be understood, except for the supervisor guy. He spoke pretty good English.

I paid for a protection plan when I booked my car rental to Edinburgh, in Expedia.com. When I went to Europcar to get the car I was informed that the protection plan that I paid for, wasn't valid in Scotland. So I had to pay 29£/ per day in order to have the mandatory insurance protection for rented cars in Scotland. I made 2 phones to Expedia to purchase travel insurance after receiving an email from Expedia noting I could add this to my booking. After consulting with friends it seemed the smart thing to do in this travel environment, COVID, etc.

I went to book and found a place showing one price of $86 and then it took me to a second page asking if I wanted to pay now it would be $86 or if I wanted to pay later $195 so I obviously pushed the button for pay now. It took me to the checkout page and it was still showing the price of $195 a night not the $89. So I thought it might be an internet issue so I Opened a new web page and tried again and again and it was still showing the $89 and taking me to the $195 at check out. I decided to call customer service thinking that they would be able to correct the price to what was shown on the 2 pages.

At that time I was speaking to someone named Jada that spoke so fast I had no idea what he said…
