The family dollar on 49th and Central Ave used to be managed well. The place was clean, the employees considerate, you never had to stand in line long and the parking lot was clean. Now there is always trash outside. Trash cans overflowing.

When you go to check out most of the time you have to wait for a cashier to even acknowledge you. Today I went there and the cashier said "I will be right back" and literally walked away for 6 minutes.

What happened to this place????

You have this coupon system where you clip your coupon to your phone to get the deals, problem is when you get inside the store there is no internet and also how do you expect older people to do this some no nothing about the internet and many have flip phones and don't use the internet.

Seems as if you are catering to the younger crowd. Those of us that live on Social Security should also be able to get those deals. t work. Today is the second time this has happened to me. Real nice system you have to save you money.

I live in Preston Idaho and shop is a family Dollar there. The products seem to consistently be Miss marked. Wanted to buy a glue gun posted at $3 but the clerk attempted to charge me $4. 30. 95. when I pointed this mispriced item to the clerk they acted like I should just pay the difference said the prices change faster than they can change the labels.

I find that excuse completely unacceptable for two reasons, one because every other business in town is able to keep up with their prices and two seven miles away in Franklin Idaho is another family Dollar that manages to have all their prices correct. I will be shopping family Dollar less because I will not go back to that Preston store rather than driving a half a mile I will need to make a 15 mile round trip to go to the Franklin store…

I was at the store in Forsyth montana and the assistant manager Nathan refused to ring up my order because I was not speaking to him and said he had the right to refuse services, I had a previous run in with him a few mts prior where he yelled at me for eating a bag or habenero pepper chips in the store after I purchased it saying he had a severe pepper allergy, after that encounter I refused to speak to him.

00 a mth in that store now I am not welcomed in their if he's behind the counter this incident took place in front of my 13 year old son. Will like to have someone address his attitude for future refrence.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. The only older white lady that works at family dollar in marmet west Virginia has a real problem with following my husband and I around the store like we are thieves. She first tried to stop my husband at the door asking about a pack of suckers assuming he had not paid for them because he had previously purchased suckers some other place and

had already eaten one before we entered the store and now she follows us around the store staring at us and it's rude and it really pisses me off because we aren't and have never ever took anything without paying for it.

The store manager and the system manager are mother and daughter. The daughter is under 21 at the store they sell cigarettes and wine and beer the daughter asked another customer to get her two packs of cigarettes and to use her mother's credit card to do so.

I did not sell the cigarettes to the customer cuz I told him you don't smoke you coming here twice a day and I've never seen you buy cigarettes I got fired. Not the underage lady that tried to purchase cigarettes but the person who told got fired this is why I believe mother and daughter family are not supposed to work together not to mention the daughter has fought another employee is she still has a job out of control.

Family Dollar store, #12019, located at 3349 N. 19th Avenue, Phx Az 85015, has seemingly become more and more dangerous to enter, along with what appears to be staff who just don't care about keeping the store stocked or addressing customer concerns.

This used to be a really nice store. Well managed, and they kept the panhandlers away from customers. Now, this same store, has panhandlers 24/7, who seemingly "live" in front of the store. They have an old seat from an automobile that's firmly planted along the walkway, and many of the folks living/hanging out there, are aggressive about asking for money from those of us trying to enter the store.

If one dares to go to this store at night, it's poorly lit outside and these same panhandlers are there, doing what appears to be dealing/using…

00 today at the Family Dollar in Tinley Park on 171st street. The cashier was complaining to me that she was the only person working today and she had to use the restroom and there were too many people in line and she was tired. Totally inappropriate behavior.

She should not be allowed to work with an attitude like this. She needs to be reprimanded. I would appreciate a response. I am a valued customer and have never had someone like her check me out. I have always had great people assist me in the past.

I was at the Provo, Ut location and the two employees working today, 2/19, were incredibly rude to an elderly man. He had lost his wallet and asked the female employee for assistance finding it. She very rudely told him that she was busy, and had very “time sensitive” things to do, and that nobody could help him.

He then asked to pay with a check and the male employee proceeded to berate him because paying with a check is “complicated”. The whole interaction was just unnecessarily rude as the man was trying to do his shopping and was at no point rude to them.

This occurred at the store #09072. My spouse and I shop here weekly. 40 This has happened multiple times and each time an employee has had to correct it. Today the manager refused to correct it and was completely rude, she would not tell us why she would not fix it, nor would she give us her name. She then walked off.

We haven't dealt with her before Today, but this is absolutely unacceptable. I want to make it clear that the cashier was polite and did not treat us poorly. The manager (or as the woman claimed to be) she also had no name badge nor other identification and was on her cellphone the entire time.

Every time I come to family Dollar and drink it Massachusetts at the store number 10090 address 50 pleasant Street they always have stuff put on the wrong shelf with price tags underneath it don't know how to start the store properly and always laugh at you when you tell him the price is there underneath it I am a handicap person hard time to move around the price tags at the bottom of the shop on the item I ain't grabbing but

The manager did not come to counter when ready for check out. I requested his assistance. He said yes. Asked if I was in a hurry. Initially said no, then said yes actually going to meet my daughter in Richmond.

He said Richmond will still be there. I said I’ve waited for a while. He said no. I said yes. I asked him to cancel my transaction. And asked for proof. To which there was none. I will not be back. His name is Jeremy.

It should be on camera. He also said when I asked about a manager other than himself, that he doesn’t have anyone to whom to file a complaint. This happened at approximately 10:00 am on Saturday (today) again, I will not be back in the store except for emergencies.

I drove over 30 mins from my retail job to make it to my local family dollar in brodheadsville Pa, before closing. I literally pulled in the store parking lot at 8:52, I just needed 1 item! The girl watched me pull in and park, again at 8:52, so I still had 8 mins to grab my one item and she locked the door!

I then went to the doors to tell her it wasn't 9 yet. But she did not come back to the doors. So frustrating because I am a manager at a retail store and this is not accepted at my store!

I went in to purchase a dog food for my dog the Shelf price said $14.50 when I got to the register the item rung up $17.50 again the price on the shelving underneath the item for the item was $14.50. When I ask to be given the shelf price because it is false advertisements the clerk refused. On the same night there was a shelf full of stuffed animals under a 50% off sign when ask why I wasn't charged the difference an employee simply walked to the back and removed the sign.

Recently I entered the store in Wagner, South Dakota only to have the door locked behind me. I made my purchase, the clerk unlocked the door to let me out and told another patron that they were temporarily closed. I don't recall the clerks name but it was a male that some would may question their intent. It made me feel very uncomfortable to be locked in the store with him as I am not sure if any other customers where there or not. I have heard that this same thing has happened to other young women.

Due to stock shelves not being fully manned. I took my goods to the cash register to check prices. The young lady who I asked for help, choose to respond that "I was delusional". I said, mam, that was very impolite of you and again she replied "I don't care". I asked for a Manager and she said "I am the Manager". Yes, I went to store 12060 on 2/16/2023 and was inquiring about prices. I asked the manager if he could check the prices for me as he scanned the items to so that I can let him know whether or not I wanted them.

I did have a lot of items so he definitely was doing the price check before he would scan the item at the end of the transaction. He told me that I was getting on his nerves and that I was rude.

I had not said anything to him, and he just started going off, saying a whole bunch of different things to me while people were in line and I just was devastated And I told him ask him as name. He gave me a false name and he said he didn’t care if I called corporate. That is so unacceptable.

I am writing about your employee Becky at the Family Dollar location in Keene Texas, store #8602. I have had at least 20 bad experiences with this employee. She once told me about how her sex life was better since she dyed her hair purple.

She has a habit of asking children to leave the store. I always go in with my boys. Every Friday my 4th grade has his friends spend the night and we stop off at family dollar to get snacks. Every time, before I can even get to the door, she is screaming at them that they can’t come in without a parent.

This is the Dollar Tree (store #1680) located on Outlook Dr in Silver Spring Maryland.

I frequent this Dollar Tree quite often at least 3 times a week. I love to do DIY projects. I notice they have changed management and the store is a lot neater and organized, BUT the customer service needs to improve greatly.

I was at store number11605 in Sand Lake, MI. I picked up the items I needed to purchase and headed to the check out. The manager was at the cashier. He was texting with someone so I patiently waited. After about a minute I started getting impatient.

I was hired on February 7 th as a team member of a remodel project at store 26969 in Spring Hill Florida the store manager name is Lisa and the lead project member name was Allen at first it was a decent job but demanding the project was supposed to take 10 days .

After 6 days another woman worker seemed to have a problem with several men saying we was stupid and lazy and constantly ran to the manager to complain. So Lisa started to get attitude with me for no apparent reason.

On Feb 13th 2023 I was returning an item for my mother that I purchased at another Family Dollar and the employee at first said that she couldn't do the refund and that I had to go to the original Family Dollar where I purchased the item for the refund.

I asked to speak to the manager and the employee said that she will go and ask if she could do the refund. Not sure who she spoke to, but she refunded me the money and I signed for the refund, but she kept my original receipt.

Twice now I have tried to return something without receipt for store credit and have been denied. Both times the item was less than $10. Both times my roommate went back and was granted the return for store credit. My roommate is male and I am female.

I feel as though I am being discriminated against.
