Called into unlock the account. Varied my mother's information with her voice. And then I assisted to help her get her information. If the first rep would have adk if I was my mother I would have said. Instead ge lied.

Said he was working on getting it unlocked. Abd the left me on hold for 25 min. Then I called back.

Second cust service agent hung up on me. After my mother had used her voice to verify. Abd given all her info. Then the third rep put me on hold immediately and left me on hold for over 20 minutes again.

Horrible customer service!!

I called for clarification regarding my 401k. Upon speaking with a representative, I found her tone to be quite rude. Despite my polite inquiry about guidelines for reviewing my 401k match, she was unhelpful and dismissive. The call ended abruptly without resolving my issue. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a way to file a complaint about the customer service experience. If anyone has information on how to do so, please share it in your review.

Tried to open 3 accounts with 7 figure balances.

First person did not know anything about trust accounts tried to transfer me to his supervisor Dana after 25 min wait I hanged up. Called again and asked for supervisor. She was so rude so I asked her for her supervisor. She hanged up. Her name was Alexandra.

She did have an accent maybe this helps identifying her. Not my loss ( except 1 hour time). Disgusting employees

My husband passed away in September. I have talked to so many people, sent paperwork to four different states & can't get a straight, honest answer from anyone at Fidelity. Can't talk to a supervisor because they are never available & don't call you back.

I not only lost my husband after 50 years of marriage but I cannot get the money I am entitled to. No one cares.

I have invested money for over 20+ years with Fidelity. I called today (11/4/23) to inquire about withdrawing money from my Roth IRA and the rules to avoid penalty. (I know you can withdraw the amounts of your contributions without penalty.) Myy wife got ill at the end of April 2023 Because ofcthis, Fidelity Investments ceased sending the monthly distributions from her IRA that my wife had put into place years before she got ill.

They never gave me an exact reason as to why, citing "policy". Asking for where in their policy this was, they then claimed that information to be "private".

My 401K through RYAM (previously with empower) was transfered to Fidelity. My funds transfered but when checking my bank statements i noticed my monthly disbursement did not. I contacted customer service to request a check as well as to re-establish monthly distributions.

After about 1 hour on the phone (setting up federal and state withholdings) I was informed it would be 5-10 businesses days the get my funds. After 6 days I called to check status of my request. I was told they were put on hold because I could not have a specific dollar amount withheld for state taxes in Georgia.

Changed withholding to calculated amount and was again told 5-10 business days. After 5 days I called to check status. Thus time I was told there was a hold because someone wanted to ask me if I wanted to change…

Moved Fidelity 401 to Fidelity IRA account 242633103 on July 7, 2022 earily 8-9 am central time. 00 interest earned as of July 31, 2023. 00. Questioned three account specialist on there different telephone calls why the change in interest for July earnings.

Told that the account was opened after hours on Friday and that the account would start earning interest until Monday July 10,2023. Not satisfied with their explanation so I requested to speak with a manager. Spoke with Monica 800 491 1002 on August 29 2023.

She confirmed that the money was received in the IRA account early 8-9:00 am on July 7, 2023 but interest was not credited to the account until Monday July 10, 2023. If my money would have remained in the 401 account it would have made interest until the account closed.

I updated my banking information online nothing on your website says I have to wait til my banking information is verified. I never chose fifth bank for a deposit. The online experience has been horrible. I was told if owe the bank you chose to deposit my funds I’m out of luck and need to speak with that bank.

Clearly it is your fault by not having an online that directs you correctly. Your reps has not been any help with this situation. And you all need upgrade your online or have customers call in. This experience has been horrible.

I am paying for their mistakes!

First of all, they are unable to wire rollover funds and, instead, must MAIL enormous sums of money, like my entire savings, "overnight" to your home and you must then forward the check to your other account - as a result, they are making money on your funds that are no longer in any of your accounts. In addition, their errors have caused this time to stretch to two weeks for me to get my own money.

After an agent mistakenly updated my new address too soon, I had to have it corrected before a check was sent to my current address. At that point, the system saw it as a new address. Then, because they can't wire the funds, they used UPS, which went on to temporarily lose the check!

I called in today and spoke to a team manager by the name of Alina Badea. She was extremely rude and condescending toward my late wife who passed away and didn’t want to offer any assistance. This type of behavior from a client manager toward a customer is unacceptable and shameful.

I have had if not the worst experience of my life dealing with Fidelity investment for the past few months. Fidelity investment managers and representatives almost cost $11,000 in lost. I have been trying to recover a check for months.

I previously spoke to the representative who was supposed to send the check to my home but never sent me the check and never made notes in the system that I called fidelity to request the check. Since I never received the check, and I didn't call about the check for another few months, Fidelity assumed that it was abandoned property. I believe a wrongful transaction of funds occurred in my account on 04/25/24. I believe the lady at fidelity misunderstood what I wanted and that I misunderstood when she later asked if this is what I wanted to do. I called your 800- 319-4433 number at 5:35 KY time to get help with my account. I have not used the account in years so I needed help updating my information. The woman who answered the phone was with a baby, I could hear the baby. AND that is okay! but I feel because she had to attend to her child, she was not able to help me. She asked for the date I worked at that specific job and I said I don't remember the date and she was not able to ask any other questions to verify and to help me.

Very unprofessional and as a mom and a person who works from home, I understand but this person should be ready to help customers, especially when we are on hold for a long time.

I submitted power of attorney documents and the related Fidelity forms to them on April 6, 2023 for both my parents. My mothers account is still pending. I’ve been to the office in Sarasota twice and also called the 800 number several times.

No one can tell me what the hold up is. I asked to talk to a manager yesterday and they said someone, not a named person, would call. Of course no one called. The worst part is the POAs have to be done before the trustee change can be made, so I can’t even initiate that process yet.

VERY FRUSTRATING, and it’s been over two weeks.

Call Fidelity asked to cash out my Time Warner Cable Pension. Pulled all information off website, spoke with advisor at Time Warner Cable which directed me to you all to complete task. Called spoke with Josh and Chad and was advised I was pretty much out of luck until 2045 and could not roll over my plan or cash out.

So I have an account with Fidelity investment I’ve been calling for two days straight because the system online was giving me an issue with getting in to sell any stock. 00 come out and put my account negative. And I knew that in less than a week I had a check that was depositing into the account and that would resolve the issue. Well the day my check was deposited and I went to try and draw funds to pay a bill I was found out that my account had been restricted.

I called immediately at 5am my time and talked with customer Service. They informed me it was because the negative balance and that it would take up to 24 hours to lift the restriction that I had not been informed about.

I contacted Fidelity to make a withdrawal from my 401K on Thursday 30th of March. I asked that the withdrawal form be mailed to my address and was assured that this would be done. On my last two previous withdrawals this form was not sent out to me, and I had to contact Fidelity again and have it sent.

I separated from my employer in January . I reached out to fidelity to find out how to go about the process to cash out my pension . Over a series of more than two month prior to my separation from the company I had interaction with various representatives who gave me wrong information.

As IBM employee I got a pension plan as part of the retirement package. In July 2021 I decided to cash this pension plan to invest in technology so I followed the Fidelity process to get access to these funds.

On 08/24/2021 the ‘Pension Benefit Authorization Election Form’ stating ‘Your benefit Payment Option: Lump Sum’ has been shipped to the IBM Benefits Center by Fedex. Obviously I can provide you with a copy of the documents and the tracking number if you need it.

Shortly after, the Pension Plan information disappeared from my account on the Fidelity Web site (I still have a screen capture of the information before it disappears from the web site). Worst customer service ever! I have been waiting 2 years for them to send me my 1099 & each time I call the reps are rude & never provide the same info. I’ve called 5X in the past 2 months again requesting my 1099, they all say they mail it but they never do.

Each rep has told me it’s overnighted but when I call back to ask why again, I have not received it they claim it was mailed, only to find out it is in processing. I made an appointment with a Fidelity adviser last Friday and had to call to reschedule my appointment. The advisor was not listing to the customer as he should! I tried to set up another appointment with someone that could meet with me for the new time i requested.

After telling him three times that i had no affiliation with the advisor of the canceled appointment that i wanted someone who could meet my time line for a new appointment in about a week he told me he did not want to step on the canceled appointment advisors toes. This guy just doesn't listen very well!!

The request for my own 401k funds to pay for grad school was handled in the worst fashion. The multiple associates left me on hold multiple times over 2hrs. Once someone who was an upper level to the CSR she lied when explaining exactly why my request could not be fulfilled even though multiple past requests were filled without a hassle.

She attempted to use an IRS rule without any reference and ultimately just said they wouldn’t fulfill it and hung up.

NO STARS!! This has been the worst customer service I have EVER experienced. I am trying to do a 403B roller into another employer plan and I uploaded a document I need to include with the check to the new plan administrator - T. Rowe Price.

I uploaded this document via the app with instructions to mail it to me. I called on 1/17 to inquire where the letter is, I was assured it was mailed, Ginger Coy said she would send another. Never received. I called again on 1/27 and they assured me they would send another, never received.

I tried liquidating a roll-over that Fidelity held on a 401-K account from a previous employer. Fidelity made an unauthorized trade on the stock portion and is unable to recover the funds or issue a check. I initiated the liquidation of the entire account on 12/13. Two months later and I still have not received a check, nor a reasonable explanation from Fidelity. They have asked me to track down an account number from the company through which they made the unauthorized trade twice now. The account number this company provided the first time was insufficient to Fidelity and they said they cannot help unless I call a second time to ascertain the correct account number--again, to a company with which I had to business relationship on a trade I did not authorize.

I chatted with Fidelity agents on three occasions asking for my Tax documents to be mailed to my home. Each agent promised to send the documents. None of the three sent those documents. Fidelity claims the documents are sent to your account online and that you have to print them for tax purposes.

The first agent never logged his call. the second agent did log the call but sent an "electronic" copy of the documents. The third agent said the documents will be sent out later in February when the batch is complete for mailing.

None was able to provide a phone number for their corporate headquarters. Escalation was also not possible. It seems that Fidelity would prefer their clients take their business elsewhere rather than have Fidelity mail the necessary tax forms to clients.

I've contacted Fidelity several times, trying to access my 401k plans I have. I never set up my account. I've called 5 times within the last 2 months. I need to withdraw money from my 401k plans, each time I call, I'm told someone will contact me back.

I have dealt with fraud and fidelity was a huge part of it. Although luckily my money was secured, the circumstances which made it possible are unbelievably scary. After weeks of trying to rectify the problem, I have finally been told everything’s ok but they will not allow any documentation or anything that I was a victim.

Will not show the bogus accounts in my name. I was told to get a subpoena. I need this to bring to irs and other agencies to prove fraudulent activity. I am in the process of putting together a comprehensive complaint to FINRA, FCC, FTC, and consumer financial protection bureau .. to name a few.

I was required to take my first RMD this year. I reqested 30% be withheld for Fed taxes + 10 % withheld for State Tax. FIDELITY withheld a total af 95 % for tax purposes leaving my wife and I with virtually nothing.

I have spent almost 2 hours on the phone with Fidelity hoping for some resolution. 5 customer service representitives left me so frustrated i couldn't take anymore. Do not trust these people with your money ! I am pulling out all ibvestments as soob as possible, you should too !
