Upon not receiving my Master Card/Fifth Third statement on time this month, I telephoned yesterday to be certain it had been mailed to me. I was told I had been changed from USPS mailing to on-line notifications. I was told I had been sent a mailing saying that if I didn't respond with my request for standard mailings, I would be switched to on-line service.

I told the person that I did not recall receiving such a notice, and that if I had, I would have been certain to stay on the USPS mailings - I DO NOT do on-line banking. I was assured that I would be changed back to my preference.

1. Why does 5/3 use customer service people who do NOT speak English as their first language? Usually, not always, I have to talk with someone whom I cannot understand. It’s frustrating and annoying. 2. I have had my credit card compromised 5 times in the last few years.

I call the Customer Service line to address the problem and typically get transferred 3 times before I can reach someone who can actually DO something. Why isn’t this an option on the main menu? 3. Why does it take SO long to get a replacement card? I mean seriously? 4.

On 09/26/2023 at 10:40 am, I entered the 5/3 Bank, Brunswick, OH branch, to purchase a money order. Behing the teller window, there was one teller and there were two customers in front of me. In the lobby there was another employee and four employees in the offices.

I had to wait 20 min. to get to the window, where the teller did not greet me, she just processed the transaction, no questions asked and again no greeting at the end either. I asked the teller, if this is normal to have only one teller to serve the customers, and she responded that all employees are tellers and they come to the window, as needed.

I want to also note, that while she was processing my transactions there were 4 cars lining up outside waiting. I have an account with 5/3 for 25 years, but never had such a poor…

LOSS DRAFT DEPT. HOLDS MY INSURANCE MONEY FOR MY HOUSE REBUILD DUE TO HOUSE FIRE. THEY WROTE ME CHECK 6/16/23. IVE BEEN CALLING EVERY WEEK COMPLAINING I HAVE NOT GOT THE CHECK. THEY TELL ME TODAY THAT IT WAS CASHED ON 6/21/2023.

I have been banking with Fifth Third Bank for almost 21 years. Beginning as a struggling college student in Akron, Ohio, to when I purchased my first home in Homewood, IL. I enjoyed my relationship with Fifth Third so much that when I moved to Liberty, NC, the closest Fifth Third Bank is about forty-five to fifty-five minutes away from my home.

I switched over from chime bank to fifth third bank, and it’s literally been my biggest regret. Since the first day I opened my account with fifth third, it’s been one issue after another and it’s honestly over the littlest things that shouldn’t even happen!

For example, I always get my paychecks direct deposited into my fifth third account, and I have for months and months now! Then, I’m supposed to get paid today, my payroll even texted me at 8am saying the processed my check, but I never got it today.

Ever since I moved to FLORIDA, I’ve had HORRIBLE service!!!!!!!!! I’ve been banking with the same bank over 40 years!!!!! Every time I go in the main bank to make a simple transfer it turns into a disaster!!!!!!! Last transaction took 2 hours!!!!!!!

I deposited a check into my daughter's account using the 5/3 ATM in the 5/3 building (main office in downtown Cleveland). The ATM has not be showing the images of checks that are deposited for about 6 months but deposits have gone through without issue.

When I deposited this check it was deposited then taken back out without explanation. I went into the branch when I discovered it had been deducted and they were completely unhelpful. Ever since hurricane IAN, when I lost internet and phone service, I was forced to go to a new internet provider. From then on, I could not sign into my account unless it was verified b a phone call. More often than not I could not sign in. Also, I was told I cannot clean out the cache nor remove cookies - which I do every evening before shutting down the computer. It appears that 5/3 bank now DICTATES TO ME HOW TO MAINTAIN MY COMPUTER.

I use the self deposit feature by using my phone with the ap. Two days I deposited a check in this manner by writing myself a check from a well known death benefit fund account. I have done this many times over the last 4 years after losing my husband.

00, the teller by name of Tina, treated me like a criminal for doing so.. I waited an exceptionally long time while she discussed my account with another teller. I explained that I’d made the deposit 2 days prior and even made an additional deposit to the account during this transaction.

If I could mark zero stars I would. I have attempted now three times to get a loan payoff release etc. from them that they keep saying they are faxing but never arrives so I can get a auto warranty credit for a vehicle i traded in.

I currently have my new vehicle loan with them (which I am now thinking I might need to move to another bank). this is 2023 not 1973. Each time a fax is sent it is a request that takes 30-60mins where you have to hang up then wait to see if it actually happens.

Lost Draft Dept lost my insurance check over thousands of dollars. On Feb. 23, 2023 I Spoke to dept mangager Sarah Williams and Shelbie Man (owner of my file). I was promised resolution on following day. They were going to call me next morning and never did.

I attempted to call and got automated answer machine. I did not get any resoluntion. Up until this time, I am not able to get to anyone. This process has taken me form Jan 23, 2023- Feb 24, 2023. I still have not received my check and have contractors waiting to be paid.

My father and I went to the branch above yesterday around 1130am to have me put on my father's checking as an authorized person to take care of bills in the event he can't due to illness or other reasons. I provided my CDL A driver's license from the state of Wisconsin that was up to date and current. I also provided my social security number, which was accurate and valid. I walked into the 5/3 bank on Libby Road in Maple Heights. The Teller was an African American lady who wears a natural afro sometimes. I don't know why the Tellers do not have to put up there name plates it is ridiculous.

I have been trying for 3.5 weeks to get a copy of my HELOC. I have called, emailed them to no avail. They keep sending me an encrypted message which I can’t open due to I only have a I-pad. We have been rescheduling our appointment to open a checking account in this bank in branch "". Somehow every time they have an excuse saying that no one is available, they are not in bank at that time, they are occupied somewhere else.

I deposited $60 at the fifth Third bank ATM and it didn’t credit to my account gave me a slip but said go inside bank atm was having technical difficulties. I went in lady immediately yelled nothing we can do with atm issues gave me a phone number and told me to file a dispute.

Called disputes spent an hour on the phone with them repeating what happened more than 3 times. Was told it could take 45 days to resolve dispute. I explained without my deposit would cause overdraft. Lady stated they would take care of overdrafts.

Money was located and deposited on the 12th but overdraft remained on my account have spent two days making calls to the bank without resolution. Customer service says disputes has to handle and disputes says customer service has to handle.

On December 1, 2022 I logged into the new Fifth Third App and discovered that check imaging and detailed deposit info was no longer available on the App. My wife Marta and. I both rely on info the App provided. I received the below info on December 1, 2022 on the “Ask Us” feature of the App.

“Welcome to Fifth Third Bank! My name is Jack. I would be more than happy to help. Raymond, I apologize for the difficulties you have had. The check image function has been removed from the mobile app with the most recent update. We will be bringing it back soon with another update.

A few days later I went in person with my wife to the local branch to ask about the issues with new App and we were told Fifth Third was going to fix it after receiving lots of complaints.

I have never received poor customer service like this company. I have had issues at the very start with the online banking. This was for a car loan, I finally got so fed up I paid off the $25K loan and was told as long as I wire the money before 3pm from my bank I will get a letter of paid in full.

I did exactly that and when I called I was told that is misinformation and they require 3 business days to process a wired payment. They would do nothing about it to provide the letter I needed that day. I called back 3 business days later and then they told me they need 3 business days to fax the letter to me and 10 business days to mail the letter!

The manager at the Fifth Third Bank location on 5771 Wooster Pike in Cincinnati, OH by the name of Jeanette Trujillo refused to help me get a title notarized and did not provide any explanation. I am a Black man and have owned my own business in Cincinnati for over 30 years.

I have been a customer with Fifth Third Bank for over 40 years. She said she didn't feel comfortable helping me and refused to help me in any way. She didn't even pull up my account. Why work at a bank when you refuse to help your customers?

I inherited a mortgage loan with Fifth Third Bank from Capital City Home Loans. My loan number with Fifth Third Bank is 301305017. Since then I have called customer service several times in regards to City Taxes in Cordele Georgia to paid out of escrow account.

Because no representative reached out to City of Cordele Tax Office for current taxes, I faxed a copy of the current tax bill to the fax# 817-826-0538 to Fifth Third Bank. Noone can verify whether the fax has been received.

I was given a personal check from a family to buy Xmas gift for my children and fifth third decides that they want to place a hold on it, when it’s was already cleared and was taken out of the givers account, 5th third won’t release it until Jan 3rd. Thanks a lot fifth third, way to ruin my kids Xmas!!!
