Hello I’m a new customers with 53 bank here in Florida. I open my account. In August of this year and was looking forward to receiving the $375 just in time for Christmas but I was unaware that my Social Security account had already sent money to my account monthly.

I’m on board for that to happen in February since it takes two months for Social Security to transfer my funds to a new account. I am very disappointed that I did not receive that money. I am on a very tight budget and I was hoping to have that money like I said for Christmas presents this year .

I was told that since my Social Security has not hit my account yet I’m not going to get that money. I was not told that it Has to hit my account before the 90 day period to receive the 375 so I really believe that was false…

To whom it may concerns; my name is Deborah Ogungbemile I have been a customer since 2016 with Mb financial bank and to date with fifth third. Every time I am traveling out of State, especially Africa, I am from Nigeria.

I always informed them about my movements and I let them know that I will loved to access my account, even if I am not using my card, just to monitor my account because of bills pay. As soon as I leave, that’s, I don’t have any access again.

It’s been all the time I travel and I’m not happy about it. Thanks

I have been trying to get my account number for two days to fix the mess up that your company updates removed my auto pay and login account info so now my autopay isn't connected third time this has happen and

also the customer service line keeps hanging up on me. Excessively talking Iverson people and makes yoy repeat yourself 900 times because the wasn't listening in the first place. Now here I am no way to make a carpayment because yall don't offer other ways of payment.

There is a big problem if yall want this money I can always get another car!

Fifth third batesville Indiana Bank manager extremely non responsive to lack of service. Seems to be sensitive when confronted with a problem. Makes all issues personal a d gets very defensive. Response to customers in rude immature childish way. Unfor after 20 years of business banking due to her incompetent behavior i will move my account.

I tried to get a loan through fifth third bank because I have two loans that I cosigned on or have so through Fifth Third never got a response. Never got a callback from the loan officer ever got an email so I went with somebody else now I’m trying to do my mortgage, but the credit information is not updated through Fifth Third on the loan that I cosigned on Fifth Third is the worst bank.

I did a business and have my account at Fifth Third and I closed everything out in 2006 but my children worked with Fifth Third so I tried it again. This is the worst bank in existence. They do not have good customer service.

They do not update their credit information for you and they are no way in a hurry to help you.

I opened a checking account with Fifth Third Bank for the first time this year. I opened the account at a local branch and was assisted by a nice employee who set my new account up quick and easy. When i opened this account i specifically requested to be opted OUT of the overdraft option so that i would never have to deal with possible overdraft fees.

A few months later i notice my account being overdrawn for a payment i made on a bill. I called customer service and asked why this was and explained that i should not have any overdraft ability due to my specific choice to be opted out of that option when i first opened my account.

The agent told me that i was enrolled in overdraft. I told the agent again that when i first opened the account i refused that option and have paper work…

I paid off my vehicle loan as of 09/2022 & still have not recieved a paid in full letter nor release of my lean , which has kept me fropm obtainign my Title. I have called several times requesting both these letters & have not gotten anything jet. Fifth Third Bank is hindering me from obtaining my Title & having accrue additional cost with DMV per day since title was released due to loan being paid in full.

the same day I called back to tell them something that I forgot to tell about the letter, so when I got there Tuesday, Annie its I think manager or something else, she treated me like she first ignored me and told me that she couldn't talk to me because she has a customer I told her that I was there just to picked a letter that suppose to be ready for Tuesday , so

I could not get into my new account after registering it online. It said it could not id my computer. I called customer service and the man told me I had to wait 14 more days after registering my account to view it online.

I am closing this account. That is unbelievable. Now I have to change my auto deposit back to my previous bank. I am so in disbelief.

I have had fraudulent charges come in on my card. Charges sent to Dispute Dept. Card closed new one sent out. 1st time overnighted FedEx (3 days later it arrived). 2nd time mailed you have to wait 8 to 10 business days ( if you handicapped and have no car you can not get to a bank office to access your account you have not way to get cash to buy food to eat or pay bills that are on autopay.

Customer Service closed another card and mailed out another card that will take 8 to 10 business days. At this rate I’ll be dead before a card comes to activate to use again. So the month of September I have been waiting and waiting.

It is October 8 and still now card to use.

There online banking is a scam to hold your money. to validate which is fine. After 5 calls to support they said try in a few days to write a check. They refuse to release my money to pay bills and support is awful.

They call a supervisor who they get ahold of. I guess all are out to lunch. They basically say you can’t pay your bills we need to hold your money longer. This bank is a distract to banking and I am filing with FCIA FOR BUSINESS PRACTICES.

I tried to cancel all my accounts but you have to go into fifth third. Be careful they really don’t care if you pay your bills on time and support is awful. They said tru ask on the app and that didn’t work either.

You can’t talk to a supervisor since they are so guarded from front line who know absolutely nothing. This bank is a joke.

Your new Security System! In the last 2 months I Willie Hannah have changed my User ID & Password 3 times . Do to your new Security System. On each occasion the New ID & Password has fail to me being able to access to my Mobile Acct.

On August 19 2022 I was allowed to make a Deposit into the account. The account was closed as if a illegal transaction occurred. The bank tellers were rude and unclear regarding my transactions of what was permitted on the account.

I filed fraud when 9 charges were made to my account on a Saturday morning all within 10 minutes. -$1000. I got a case number and took notes. S. said they were taking care of it. I called Wednesday when the charges went from pending to posted. S. Moonie?

( can’t understand much of what they say but I did record the 19 minutes of my wasted time) and she had nothing on file. The case # didn’t exist. At end of conversation mostly me asking her to repeat what she said, she gave me 2, case #’s. Incompetence runs rampant.

I just took out a mortgage loan and opened an account with 5/3 in July this year. My first payment was due on 8/5/2022, and luckily I enrolled in the automatic payment and the first payment was deducted automatically.

However, I was eagerly waiting to receive my first statement to review everything but I never received it. I checked online as well even on 8/5/22 to see if the statement was uploaded or not. It wasn't and it wasn't even available the next day, 8/6/22, as well.

" First, how it is that a company like 5/3 is allowed to slack off and make an excuse saying they were behind when it wouldn't even allow borrowers to pay late.

Secondly, how could it be a bad address when I have been getting other 5/3 mails to the exact address? Now 5/3 marked my address to be bad and won't be…

My mom and dad died. They banked with 5/3 for 25 years. I went into the bank to let them know he died they say I had to be executor so went to courthouse got that. Went to bank they said I needed death certificate.

He had an autopsy so that took over 2 months. Went back and his account went from 1500 to negative 153. Why was the account not put on hold? I will not pay shit!

Visited the branch on Old Hickory Blvd, last week. When I walked into the branch there were no other customers. The teller was on the phone and hesitated to call me to the counter. After a few moments she called me but was still on the phone.

I waited patiently until she finished her conversation thinking it was bank business. I love you! It was not a business call. As I proceeded to state my business by getting my DL, I was informed of the new way for customer identification.

I inserted by debit card and followed the instructions on the device. After being prompted to remove my card, I did. The teller stated to me very harshly, "you took your card out too soon". I explained that I followed the prompts.

We have been 5th/3rd customers for over 30 yrs, both while living in Cincinnati and now in Bonita Springs FL. My complaint is with Terry Paras, the title on her card read: a Retail Personal Banker II, she is working in the Bonita Springs, FL office at 8800 W. Terry St. We needed a Notary Public and two witnesses for our Living Trusts and Wills. We had our legal work done at a Cincinnati law firm, but we needed the documents notarized here in Florida. Her attitude toward us was unbelievably rude and treated us like we were a real inconvenience to her. I felt like I was being scolded and I am a CUSTOMER! This individual certainly shouldn't be dealing with customers. Customers are what pays her salary!

I called card service to made a o % 24 mounts o interest transfer to pay off a capital one cradit it was 2 cards. the didn't pay one off the check was sent to the Synchrony bank instead of Capital one this was 3 mounts ago card service never claimed the check make it was a big mass.

one of the supervisor told me at the end. I would have to pay the money bacb even if they left paying the money back and the card was never paid the last supervisor was very nasty and and did nothing to help me.

13 at the downtown Blue Ash Ohio branch on kenwood road 6/17/22. Checks were made out to my name James Fogler have deposited/cashed before 30 plus year customer . Was told I could not deposit the checks in my checking account that I would have to cash them.

Then a gentleman believe his name is Mike (only male working at the branch) said he could not cash the checks or deposit. Went back and forth could not understand why the checks could not be deposited/cashed. Ask (Mike? )for his business card as I get these checks routinely and have had no previous issues to avoid problems in the future and he refused and walked away from the window.

I don't have an account but keep getting phone calls fom 18002408151 I've blocked but still get messages. Ernest Bell is who they are trying to reach. I'm not him. I called but the csr wanted me to give my number out even though I'm constantly getting calls.

no stars for dirt third. They posted a charge on Friday which was in red indicating it cleared my acct. on Monday morning even with available finds they returned the check to the company I paid and charged 37 dollars.

So in non business days they not only charged me with a fee but returned a check that was a pay off loan check which now I will have to pay interest on for not paying in time. Not to mention my acct was and is today in good standing with sufficient funds to pay the check that they cleared on Friday.

They are a money hungry bank that feeds on their own customers.

My father passed in February of this year and unfortunately did not have any of his affairs in order when it came to completing a will or having a delegation of estate. Naturally, this is a frustration more on his part but 5/3 certainly made this debacle that much worse with their incompetence.

The matter in question was that my father had an auto loan with 5/3 that he still owed on when he passed which meant I had to take care of this matter with them. I am of the mindset that important matters like this one are best discussed in person so I visited a local branch near my house and met with a banker who I informed I was interested in taking over the loan and inquired what the process would be.

The location at 11850 South Marshfield has the worst customer service. They never answer the phone and when you leave a voicemail no one ever returns the call. The knowledge at the bank is horrible. They are severely under staffed.

We had a breach of our checking account with all funds taken. The bank knew something was not right and we had an e mail notification of such. When we went in to talk to the bank about it, the bank manager seemed to be more concerned that we enabled the scammer to obtain our account information rather than being concerned about our loss and trying to assist us in whatever way she could.

At the time we talked with the bank manager the funds had not been accepted at whatever place they were trying to be transferred and we even had an e mail telling us this which meant the funds were still controlled by 5th3rd. The bank manager did not indicate any interest in checking on this.

I’m am extremely disappointed with Fifth Third services. I went to the Bank yesterday with my check from my 401k retirement that for borrowed for an emergency and deposited but before I deposited I was told that it could be possible that my funds would be available by today but

Time to leave this bank: No notice on web page that you can not access your account from a computer, even though this "technical issue" has been going on for weeks. So, is it not reasonable to put a notice on the website advising customers that the site is temporarily down, and to use your mobile app if you have one.

I called the customer service number they provided on the website on Sunday and it took me through all these authentication steps only to finally tell me that they are CLOSED.

On Monday morning I called at 9 AM when the bank open asked to speak with the manager and was told that she had a customer and will get right back to me -- it is now 3:51 PM and no call back! 5/3 Bank continues to be one of the worst customer service organizations I have ever dealt with. They rarely answer their phone at the branch. It is nearly impossible to speak with someone if you don't have an account. Good luck new customer!

The same is true with their user interface online. You can't set up online bank without a credit care/debit card. If you don't use one you have to do it at the branch. I have never worked with an organization that makes it so incredibly hard with which to do business. Just an awful experience.

My payments were made, yet i received and check in the amount of my mortgage payment. I called Customer Service who stated they did not know where to apply the funds yet state I am delinquent by a month. My back statements indicate the payments were taken out of my account.

I have asked to speak with Supervisors and still get no where. We all know conversations are recorded, when asked to review them, they can not find them. I wouldn't even give this company the one star that is automatically put to this complaint.

Fifth Third Bank has been servieing our mortgage for the past couple of years. In the past year or so they have misapplied our regular monthly mortgage payments as curtailments at least ten times, including twice in the past month.

I have called multiple times to get the issue resolved and even spoke to a manager to have a note put on our file to get this to stop. We've paid online through our bank, mailed the payment in with notes stating what it was for and the last couple we have been using their own website to pay and they are still screwing it up.

Would be nice if I could start charging them fees every time I need to call and fix the issue the way they'd charge me if I was screwing with their money, perhaps then someone would give a damn.

This morning, my wife was behind a delivery truck with a 5/3 ad on it. In the ad, there was a woman holding a cell phone with a message on the phone that said 'Let's go Brandon'. Is this something your company is proud of?

Just waiting on a response, before I share this info with a bunch of folks. A lack of a response will be treated as an admission of guilt/ignorance. I'd hope you're better than this, but we shall see. Best of luck, even if you do turn out to be a moronically lead company.

It has been almost 4 months that I have been unable to access my account due to terrible problem solving and lack of care from customer service. I have attempted to order a new card three separate occasions and have not received one.

as well being locked from my funds in my 360 access account due to you guys not sending the permanent card. thus is a really big issue for me, not being able to access any of my funds pretty much defeats the purpose of me banking with you guys.

this is the worst banking experience i’ve ever had and will surely be closing my account with you guys and educating my peers and other interested parties of the horrible service as well as my experience trying to access my funds

If I could give this bank 0 stars it would be too high of a rating. I have been hung up on, mistreated, rudely spoken to, bounced around from department to department. I have been trying to get a hold of my Mortgage statements for over a month.

They magically stopped generating in July and no one can tell me why or get me copies. I have had to push back my closing for 2 weeks trying to get out of this bank. No amount of money in the world could make me ever want to deal with them and their horrible customer service ever again!

I cannot wait to close my refi so I don’t ever have to deal with them again! After weeks of calling almost on a daily basis I am no closer to getting my statements than I was before I started the refi process! Absolutely horrible!

waited to talk to someone 45 minutes (when your voice message says wait time 5-10 minutes) and then talking to someone finally for over half hour to get it done... nothing. WAS NOT! horrible customer service again. gave me a case number.

I've used fifth third twice in the past but left it's service both times due to absolutely HORRID customer service. Now after closing them again about five days ago I looked in my email inbox for something completely unrelated and saw my "balance" at over 500 THOUSAND dollars over!

In the time I've had this account I've only ever done the required 50 dollar deposit and left that, I didn't trust them and this just proves me right in doing so. I've attached a screenshot with my personal information blocked out.

" I'm a 19 year old trans girl! I can barely afford my hormones and an overdraft of half a million dollars is INSANE! Especially when I had it set to decline any transaction that would take me a cent over zero since I can't afford their overdraft fee!
