My issue is I was reaching for pico de gallo and it was on the top shelf.. I usually do not have a problem reaching things on the top shelf in the produce section.

I would ask if you all have cameras or anything. It was in the evening.. I'd have to look back at my receipt to know the exact date if I did not throw it away.

I didn't inform anyone of the situation because I thought I would be okay.

So when I reached up to grab the pico... water splashed in my face.. and I didnt know it was water.. I just know I saw something coming at me, this made my reaction ... I flinched so hard to avoid what was coming at my face, that I ended up hurting my neck. I did feel the pain immediately - but I just said to myself.. ohh it will get better and go away. .. I asked my Foodlion store to put 3 items up front for me so someone could pick them up for me. I'm disabled. I've also used my town store over 30 years. The manager Cameron said no we can't do that.

Well they've done it several times for me over the years. I've been bedridden 40 years. I'm very sick. How dare he treat me like this. They do nothing and can not take 1 freaking minute to put a item at the register?.

food lion has been selling me rotten food! just this past laborday weekend I got 20lbs or bad shrimp,12 ears of rotten corn,1 bad watermelon and a rotten cantalope! 00 just from this past holiday purchase alone! this is NOT a one off thing either!

my family and I have been made sick on many occasions! I'm disabled and a senior citizen and on social security and money is hard enough to get much less waste on bad food!!!!! as soon as another grocery chain close by opens up I'm done with food lion!!!!

I went to do a propane exchange and I paid for the propane and the cashier went and told the manager that was running another register. I waited and waited and the manager just kept checking other people out. I finally asked him are you going to get someone to do the exchange?

He said they lost the key two weeks ago. I asked why are you charging people for propane and you can’t open the cage? I then had to get a refund which was a big hassle. Why didn’t they tell all cashiers don’t sell propane!

I am a frequent shopper at food lion especially the one on timber drive in garner North Carolina today I checked out at 12:43pm . I also go through self check out and never have any issues. Today was a different story.

when I approached the register that’s where the man was standing with other costumers checking out. When I started to check my stuff out the man came QUICKLY standing right behind me, like if I was to take a step back I would have stepped on him.

This is reference to an employee by the name of Max who works at Food Lion in Swansboro, nc. I visited the store one day last week and this young man reaked of Marijuana. I asked for assistance with an item I could not reach and not only did he act very nasty about it but he stumbled to get it and just seemed drunk or high as a kite.

Needless to say I didn't purchase the item, and left the store. This young man should be drug screened and definitely should not be working in the public under the influence. I looked up his record, and apparently there's a dss case opened & a police report filed for child abuse on Max.

This employee should be fired!!!

your program of cash off or cash back on designated purchasing products is very suspicious. I shop at Food lion in Centerville VA Manakin Sabot VA 23103. Nice clean store. for the past several months when making purchases your system does not recognize my phone number.

To me this is purposely not doing so, therefore not giving me credit for the rewards program. This not only is happening to me but other shoppers while I am in the store.

I used foodlion to go today. The shopper forgot to include the dogfood I payed for. I called to ask where it was and got the response she forgot to include it while bringing our order out but I can come back and it would be waiting in the front of the store.

This will require 2 trips to receive my full order. Gas is expensive. I would not complain but this is not the first time items have been forgotten. I was also unhappy with communication with messaging during the shopping experience.

I visit the Food Lion on Hwy 42 East Clayton least3 to 4 times a week and after the last months visit I decided enough, anytime I go there there is never anyone to help at customer service and on 8/16/23 I waited 20 minutes for help at the customer service desk, yes I could have left but myself and other customers decided we would see how long it would take for someone to help us, the customer with me stated the same thing has happen to her several times during the evening hours and she finally left.

This is no way to treat customers and gave No apologies for keeping us waiting. This is something someone needs to address if you care about keeping customers.

I came home from the beach without stopping at a better quality grocery store because I liked your prices better.

However, I have arrived at my food lion TOGO spot on time and have sat here an hour and 25 minutes now. Nobody will answer the store phone number so I’ve had to go inside. Leaving my 4 year old daughter and sick dog in the car in the fire lane just to speak with someone.

That was 40 minutes ago. I am beyond mad. I have wasted my gas sitting here waiting for my groceries in the heat. I’m not sure how y’all will attempt to make this right, but as of right now I will be making sure my town knows not to expect punctually from this location.

Poor Customer service from the cashier named Chris, I spoke to two managers and gave the details of the incidents.

The cashier asked me to put the basket near the door and I went ahead and did that, I asked him is it generally the duty of the the customer to do that and his response was that it is what decent customers do. I recently visited the Food Lion in Walkertown,Nc since I was unable to find what I wanted at another location. I parked my car, stepped out , and nearly threw up from the trash in front of and around the remaining parking lot!

It smelled like a garbage can, and looked like it hadn’t been maintained for quite a long time. If I were Food Lion, I would be very embarrassed to have a parking area outside my place of business looking like this for customers who spend their hard earned dollars in your store, to see this every time they walk through the door to do their shopping!

The cashier took my grocery shopping bag, the bags that Food Lion sells, and dumped the contents of the bag onto the conveyor because she did not feel like taking the items out of the bag one by one. I had carefully selected fruit and vegetables and yogurt that could have been punctured , bruised or damaged by the other contents of the bag.

Store #196 Bridget, manager of the deli. I asked for shaved ham since my husband can’t chew it unless it’s shaved. She didn’t offer to show me the slices. I asked to see the ham and she rolled her eyes.

Also, spoke nasty to me. I spend a lot of money at Food Lion and her rudeness and nastiness was uncalled for. I spoke to a manager about this and he said he would take care of it. I was told by another employee and he said this is not the first complaint against her.

I am a frequent customer of this location as I live near by. 01 . 00 on the conveyor table in front of the cashier. After a brief standoff I was asked to pick my money up the cashier then put their hand out to receive the money.

99 cents I asked what that was all about and I was sternly told that I was disrespecting them for putting the money there. I didn’t say anything I just took my change and item and left. I thought is was appalling and a real insult to me .

We live in Columbia, NC and Food Lion is our only grocery store in town, and have lived and shopped there for 20 years. What I am writing about today is regarding the Fresh Express Veggie Lovers salad. My wife and I buy a bag once per week, sometimes twice.

Here is a list of my complaints about this salad: 1) When we purchases, it almost always goes bad before the "Best if used by" date (We have taken back many times for a refund) 2) The ingredients are supposed to be iceberg lettuce, carrots, romaine lettuce, pea pods, radishes and red cabbage.

I’ve been having problems before with one employee before this incidence. Tonight I stopped in to get a few groceries, dog food, in checkout lane I went thru because I needed cigarettes. The cashier treated me as if I weren’t there, having problems with my card and asking for help but she’s busy talking to girl behind me.

About 50 percent of your employees are polite and cooperative however the other 50 percent at the Ayden store are not. They don't even respond to a hello and are too busy chatting with other employees to even acknowledge you.

I really am disappointed because the other employees at the other food stores are very friendly. I love Food Lion but don't look forward to be treated rudely by your employees at the Ayden store. Thank you for listening.

I went to food lion yesterday in Raleigh store number 2504. I went up to customer service around 9:10 pm. I was the only customer at the desk. I approached two employees who I assumed went to get me some help.

After waiting about 10-15 minutes a lady finally came out and with no sense of urgency. She came and looked as though she was doing me a favor for coming out and assisting me. She was by far the worst customer service representative I have ever seen in a Food Lion store.

I tried to find her name but don’t even think I got a receipt. She was a black woman with long braids. I am not using race as an issue as I am African American as well. She was horrible and I couldn’t let that go.

I have used the store since the inception of ordering online and picking up at the store. I use this service at least four times, if not more a month. The phone service at the store has been down for a good month or more , making it impossible to call into the store upon arrival to have your groceries brought out to you.

The last three times I have been able to Chase someone down on the parking lot that was taking carts back into the store. I have also been in the store, requesting the groceries. That’s absolutely ridiculous for a service to be run that way.

I realize you can have problems with your phone services but not to have a phone for a month or more and not to figure out an intelligent way around that for temporary use is also ridiculous. How hard would it be for Food Lion to…

The manger sheldrick streete jr. is an unprofessional manager that doesn’t treat his employees nor customers with respect. I was eventually terminated for a reasonable reason but the following day i didn’t hear from the original manger and when i called to confront my Delhaize account being locked 2 days after my last shift he then told me i was terminated later during the day.

The manger had plenty of time to leave a message, e-mail, or anything to let me know or confront me about the problem, when i got irritated and said he could’ve been told me, he hung up in my face. He now presses charges because i called the food lion over 50 times because he is unprofessional.

I was at food Lion 931 located on north Wendover rd in charlotte Nc, when around 6-8pm on Tuesday the 20th of June 2023 I witnessed the customer service manager chasing around an associate with a taser. Not only did I feel unsafe, but I felt unsafe for the worker who was getting chased.

It was highly unprofessional from a so called customer service manager I believe her name was shoria. I could not grab the associates name. I was unable to get a photo or video but I noticed there were cameras located above the customer service desk.

Yesterday I went to the store in Swansboro. I should have know better Cashier number 0256 was extremely rude. Did not greet and just said is that all you’re getting? Is it cash or card.? Then proceeded to talk with another staff and trying on a jacket because she was cold while completely ignoring us and not completing the transaction.

I have been a constant shopper at the Food Lion on ForestBrook road in Myrtle Beach, SC for years. 00 dollars a week at this location.

However, I will not be shopping at this Food Lion any longer. I cannot believe that Food Lion allows the employee that stocks the Red Bull to work in the store. I went to high school with Ryan Lane and he is a known rapist all around Conway, Sc.

He has taken advantage of multiple girls and has been arrested and charged with rape. I just cannot fathom that Food Lion allows him to work for the store and puts women in the community in danger. I no longer feel safe shopping there and even though I enjoy shopping at Food Lion can no longer stomach going in the store.

Food Lion recently changed the Food Lion App...since I have downloaded this app, each time I have shopped at the store none of my rewards monies have been deducted from my bill. I have called Food Lion customer service twice already and each time they tell me that they will send the information over to the appropriate person to find out what is going on...they tell me since they changed the app they have had a lot of complaints about it not working properly. So how am I supposed to get this matter resolved? This is our local store and I don't want to have to travel to another store.

This is very frustrating to say the least. It's been a week since I have called and was told they would get back to me within 24 hours...not the case....very dissatisfied customer.

I have been shopping at Food Lion for decades. It is my favorite grocery store. For several weeks now my local store, 5021 Trotwood Ave, Columbia TN has been advertising sales without the items actually stocked. I believe this is called bait and switch.

I’m not sure if it’s illegal but it is unethical and sloppy management at best. I really hope they get their act together. I don’t want to go somewhere else.

On Friday June 16, 2023 I ordered Food Lion to Go and arrived at the designated time. I called 2527468907 to let them know my order wasn’t ready they didn’t even start it. They came to my car and asked to take pictures of my phone and the order.
