I have used the grocery pick up several times at the Dawsonville food lion. Two of those times were ok, but every other time I have either not received half my groceries or I have been given and charged for 8-10 additional items.

When I try to contact the store I am out on hold for up to 40 mins before I hang up and try again. It’s too far for me drive back and forth to the store over all of this and today I got fed up with it.

I will not ever be using this store again. I’m so disappointed with the lack of communication and consistent mistakes made. Today I was given 9 additional items and when I check my receipt it’s all charged. Im not sure what happened to this store as it used to be my favorite which is why I continued to try.

I am outraged because my family and I came shopping at store number #2854 and was racially profiled. A worker stood behind up the whole time we was ringing our food but not one time helped one of the white customers that needed her and we shop her all the time never stealing anything.

Ive been wanting to file this for quite some time but kept trying to be nice. I have been going to this Food Lion at 2225 Florida Avenue Lynchburg, Va. 24501store #00992 for over 20 years. I really hate to switch stores.

But you need to fire this girl. She really makes the store look very bad. Everybody is talking about her and the way she treats people. There was a discussion on Facebook about her where everybody was complaining. A few people stopped going there for that reason.

She will not say hello. She won't welcome you. She won't talk to you when she's spoken to. And she NEVER SAYS THANK YOU. WITHOUT THE CUSTOMERS SHE WOULD HAVE NO JOB. She is the rudest girl I've ever met in my life.

For some reason they have no register open other than self checkout. Because my card can not swipe it has to be manually typed in and to do such I need a register with an actual employee. There is no need for them to pull every drawer on the floor as early as 10:30pm.

And when I explained my situation the cashier simply told me they shut down everything but self checkout at 10 (it was 10:22). And when I asked if there was anything they could do she simply said have a good night.

Poor customer service. Visited the store located on Rogers Ln. Store #2514 Raleigh, NC. 00 cash back. Asked to receive the cash back in all 1 dollar bills. Cashier advised he couldn't give me all cash back in one dollar bills.

Contacted manager and told the same thing. It's hard to believe that a business of this caliber, could not honor this request. Occurred on Tuesday, June 6 at 18:20 hours.

It's the night before Christmas Eve, 2022 and I'm doing the very last of my Christmas shopping. I've just purchased a gift item, a Shelf Elf, down the road at CVS, exchanged 'Merry Christmases' with the friendly personnel there and traveled the short distance to the Lyman FOOD LION Store #2642 to make my final Christmas purchase, a Franzia Box Wine.

With it in hand, yours truly is full of the good old Christmas spirit as I head for the register where I want to complete this simple transaction and tell all those present, 'Have A Merry Christmas!'

But the cashier and bagboy here do not want to have this kind of interaction with me. They have something else in mind.

I went to the store in Youngsville NC at 4 pm and I was walking down an isle looking at my list and there was a spilled thing of queso in the floor that I did not see and slipped on. My fiancé goes to ask a worker if there’s paper towels to clean me with and she says no.

It took them 15 min to clean up the mess. On top of employees laughing. Ruined new sandals I just got is the queso it was dry by the time I got home Please advise how we can proceed.

As a Food Lion customer I would like to weigh in on your "subtle " endorsement of the alphabet soup agenda, aka, "pride". Caving-in to a minor segment of the population is weak and pathetic. Why not just sell groceries and not endorse those who are confused about their God-given gender and perverse lifestyle?

What do groceries have to do with that political agenda? Most humans, no matter how confused they are, eat food and often buy groceries. Leave it at that.

I submitted a complaint over a month ago about the Customer service desk being closed or getting treated a nasty look when asking about the Desk being closed . I want to say that everything is improved quite a bit .

I ordered a birthday cake on the morning of April 28th. Pickup scheduled for Sunday morning 10 am. Cake was not made for my wife's birthday. I mentioned this to the male manager who made the comment of " what do I want him to do.

The young lady running that area that morning gave me a small cake that was already a couple of days old. The young lady accompanied me to the checkout. She then explained for to the black male manager what she is doing.

He made the comment again. What does she want him to do? He pays her to take care of her area. We continue towards checkout. She let's the black female manager in charge of cashiers know what is going on. Same comment from her. Take care of it.

I would like to know why we cannot get Bran Muffins at the Chocowinity NC store. I guess at least a year ago I could get them. The lady at the deli said she could not order them as they were not on her list to order!

I do enjoy Bran Muffins, an they are healthy, and, otherwise, I like the store. It is handy for me because it's only about a mile from my house. The lady at deli said that the other Food Lion stores in the are could get them, but not our store.

The manager at the Hildebran North Carolina Charlie Hogan was so rude to me over using a rain check for for deals on the challenge butter. He told me it was people like me that ruined it for other people and that I did not need to shop in your store anymore I was totally shocked at his rudeness.

This is a small town and I’ve always shop there but I don’t know that I’ll ever go back. He was so rude and embarrass me.

I shop at food lion in Hanover md. I was informed employees hrs are being cut . And their adding self check out lanes. I do alot of my shopping at food lion . the employees are wonderful and go far and beyond .

The thought of the changes and knowing the choices some are going to have to make , I can imagine how they feel. I just know how I will be feeling knowing the atmosphere will not be the same.

False accusation by food lion manager - was at self checkout trying to use a form of payment on my phone - and was having difficulties doing so- when all of sudden the manager came in he’s from my face with his face yelling at top of his lungs “get the hell out of my store now” and “I know what you’re doing I’ve seen it a million times- you’re messaging your boy outside and you’re gonna walk out without paying for all this”.

My wife and I have a food lion about 3 miles from us and a another one 11 miles from us in opposite direction. We receive a food lion add every Wednesday in the newspaper. We go to 3 mile food lion only to find out to add is not for them.

I checked the newspaper add and nowhere does it say which stores. Even the managers say this is a problem. You would think this would have been resolved after 10 years.

The Hudson, NC store is a hot mess. They employ mostly teenagers (not that there's anything wrong with that), but these particular teens have the worst on-the-job behaviors I've ever seen. It is difficult for me to even get checked out a lot of the time because they won't quit talking to each other at max volume across the lanes about school stuff, who they are dating/broke up with, etc.

There are always at least two cashiers in full anime cosplay. I feel absolutely invisible. Tonight I was extremely tired and just wanted to pay and go home, and there were two people in line behind me. All of us waited and waited while a girl in a cat eared goth costume talked to four other people standing around doing nothing, about one boy's car insurance.

On the with of Feb I ordered an instacart order and I scheduled the pickup for 12pm when I went to the store I was told it was not ready yet. This went on with me going back and forth all day.

Needless to say, I didn't get my order. I looked at the app and I was charged for the order so I contacted the store who routed me to instacart. I spoke with instacart and they set the order for delivery at 930 last night.

It never came due to being cancelled for the store closing early

The store and the prices are good. Most of the employees are nice , helpful and socialble. All except for this one employee. I don't know her name but she is about early 50s, short blonde hair and wears glasses.

Every time I go to the Food Lion In Randleman she gives me dirty looks when I walk in. She has followed me around the store at one occasion. She is always so rude to me every time I ask her a question.

At one point she said when I asked her about my MVP card that she didn't know and didn't care. Now I took that remark very personal. I frequent this store at least 6 times a week. There is a Walmart about 3 minutes from Food Lion, but I prefer to go to food lion..

People standing so I went to another register. Manager was training and said she can wait since she said you were standing. She was very young. Colored hair nose ring then followed me out the store asking what my problem was.

Not management material and I had my child with me!!! She was not friendly and not willing to get people in out.

Food Lion in 7 Lakes NC on Friday 13 2023 around 4:30pm we when into the store for groceries. There was 2 registers open and many customers on line waiting to check out. We shopped and when we went to check out there was still only 2 registers open and the lines for both stretched down 2 aisles all the way to the back of the store.

This is your busiest store in Moore County no self check out. Have to show ID for beer . We left the cart and went to Harris Teeter. Very poor way to run a business!

My sister and I visited your store Monday dec 12 2022. m. my sister was in the store 10 to 12 mins. While she was in the store she followed around by 2 of the employees both in management. That was fine she had no problem with that.

I sent a notice to the Food Lion Corp in NC back in November and received no response. It contained a complaint about their individual chip bags. I purchased a variety pack and there was one bag sealed inside with only air in it.

Customers pay the price asked for at individual stores and are not receiving in full what they pay for.

This is the worst company to work for they don’t like you having experience in retail. Tge store in Williamsburg number 703 is run by a bunch of back stabbing managers that doesn’t care about the employees. They make up false accusations to get you fired so their buddy can take your position, the manager Russell debolt should never be a manager he is a ungrateful manager that if you don’t do it his way your gone.

The customer service manager Lindsey King should have never been promoted because she has no clue how to run the front end, that store needs to be over hauled and the regionals like Jim griffin doesn’t help out the employees either. I will never recommend food lion to anyone looking for work due to they are not a equal opportunity employer

I received a food lion register coupon for natures promise or taste of inspirations fresh French or Italian bread (6-21 oz) BOGO that expires 11/30/2022. I was told by the deli dept manager at the Selbyville, De store that these 2 products have never been carried at the store.

If so, why issue a coupon. Food lion should honor the coupon with the store brand at the least. I await your response and hope you will correct this.

Produce did not have scannable barcode. Had to walk to get the price for the cashier. She knocked off a dollar from original price, so the new amount and item was keyed in. Not scanned. I wanted to use my E-WIC card to pay for my items. All are WIC eligible.

This has been my go-to store for years. WIC wouldn’t pay for the item she keyed in and she made a very loud and dramatic scene and started arguing with me about it. I tried to tell her she would have to physically scan the item.

I feel the need to provide feedback about my experience a few minutes ago. Popped into your Okatie store to buy a bouquet of flowers and a gallon of milk. Collected my items and proceeded to self checkout because, you know, you are always short of staff at the registers. As I began to scan the milk, I noticed that there was no label, no bar scan on the milk. I got the attention of the self check helper, who confirmed that the milk was not labeled. She asked me to return the milk to the back of the store and get a new one. I hesitated because: 1. Can't she just look it up? 2. What should I do with the unlabeled milk. Leave it for the next customer? 3. I am really an employee of Food Lion? Do I have additional duties on top of checking myself out?

00 cash back when I did not want cash back. I told the girl and she did not do anything and said "tell the manager". Well I did and manager did nothing when I told her "shut down that register and move the girl to another one where the machine would work right" .

I let them know I was reporting to Corporate. Thank goodness I had money in my account but for someone that did not it would overdrawn that person account. You need to better train your people.

I was recently in the store on Snow Hill Rd., Rt. 12, in Salisbury, Md. I'm was trashed by a Hispanic employee at the deli who first of all called me rude, though nothing I said was rude. Then she proceeded to disrespect me as a customer by talking about me with another employee, waving her hand back at me, and telling another employee, "You talk with her. You talk with her." I shop at Food Lion on Tilghman Road in Salisbury, Md. The deli dept. at this store needs to put a priority on customer service. So many times I go to this deli and when I leave I am disgusted.

Very often they will have one person waiting on customers and several employees in background doing other things. Customers a standing in line and nobody comes to front to assist. I understand they have others things to do but customer service should come first.

Might be silly, but they changed the ingredients in the cinnamon French toast non diary creamer. I’ve returned 3 of them as it tasted like poison. Smells like vanilla & caramel and thought they just had a packaging error. The store manager confirmed that they changed it, but I’m still not satisfied.

Number one, it taste like poison & two it does not have a hint of cinnamon flavor or sent. Ridiculous!!!!!

My wife and I shop one of your store's at least twice a week, and have been sense food lion opened it's doors! But after being refused some plastic bags because they said they were running low, I understand things like that but I needed them today for I am handycaped I had to go to customers service and

get 4 plastic bags and then the two ladies at customer service watched me while I was in pain bag 4 large cokes, you would think they would have at least offered to help! This happened at the food lion in churchland Portsmouth Virginia.
