Food Lion

My name is Gregory Williams, and I have been a Food Lion customer for over 25 years. C. to visit the founder of Food Lion at Catawba College. On 15 June 2022, Had the unfortunate experience of going to my local Food Lion store, and I was refused service due to a misunderstanding that the store manager REFUSED to understand.

While shopping, I picked up a 40 ounce bottle of Miller Beer and some potato chips. I was pushing the shopping cart and when we got to the cashier, my son took the groceries and beer out of the shopping cart, and put them on the conveyor belt while I am standing directly in front of the cashier to pay. I was fired for no reason from the meat department. There was no proof that I had done anything wrong but I was suspended and then fired. But others in the job are unsanitary and probably under the influence but they still have their jobs.

I came into work early when they called and I came into work on my days off when they called. I was left by myself the second night there to close with no help. Had to figure it out on my own.

Management would take forever to come check my work when I would get everything stocked up so by the time he got there I had to restock it. It would take them up to thirty minutes to get back to the meat department to check on my work.

The unsanitary people working there don't wash their hands or have good hygiene but touch the product the the public has to…

C.. I bought multiple items that included an entire Fiorucci. Deli individual says been there 2 days, and weights it up and gives it to me. I continue to shop. The deli guy comes by takes the Hard Salami and goes to his manager.

Comes back says can't see me the entire roll. I ask to speak to the store manager. Tells me he was the one who would not sell me the roll. He comes out. I tell him I have been doing this for 6-7 years.

I ask him if this is a new policy? Says no. Takes the roll and walks away. I leave this store. The way this works is you price an item I pay unless you specifically state there is a limit, I get to purchase what you offer.

Been this way for at least 15 years. I shop weekly.. That is not the case here. My first comment is this is incredibility poor customer service…

I would love to shop at garners ferry Rd with be out having to see young black boys butt and underwear do you not have a dress code I have small little girls and don't wish them to see grown boys butts
