I am writing to report an unacceptable customer service experience at your Deptford, NJ (Hurfville Rd) location today, Wednesday, June 26, 2025, at approximately 2:05 PM.

Upon arriving to pick up my takeout order, I was completely ignored by multiple staff members (including cooks, waitresses, and a red-shirted individual who appeared to be the manager) for an excessive period of 8-10 minutes, despite the restaurant not being busy at all. There were no customers in the lobby waiting for table and no customer ordering or picking up takeout. No one acknowledged my presence or offered assistance.

Subsequently, the manager ( girl in the red shirt) engaged in a personal conversation with newly arrived guests, continuing to disregard me. I went outside to my car after 10 minutes for my phone…

On Tuesday 1/30/24 at approximately 2:30 pm my wife carrying our service dog and I entered the Friendly’s at Gloucester Premium Outlets in Gloucester TWP. NJ no other customers were in the building as we were finishing our ice cream the manager came out and told us to leave he was very aggressive and said that he didn’t want us to come back we informed him that our dog was a service animal and

Found a long piece of hair in my ice cream I return to the store to get a new one but I had mine delivered by door dash as I entered the store I was not greeted while waiting someone finally helps me not one of the employees handling the ice cream were not wereing a hair net or a hat not wereing any gloves between ice creams the fountain area was completely trashed trash everywhere cups dishes and toppings everywhere it was disgusting and dirty at 482 NORTH MAIN STREET LEOMINSTER MA 01453

I ordered an All-American burger with no mayonnaise and it came with mayonnaise. I also ordered clam strips dinner with coleslaw and I got no coleslaw. I had to pay for two happy ending Sundays that were supposed to be free, and I ordered a coke and I never received it.

92 I am not happy at all. Not a happy ending for me.

The water Buffalo of a girl that works there is rude af!

They do not acknowledge you if you are there for an online order...they pretend they don't see you...and your food just sits there getting cold... We live in the same damn town you know...I might not be able to start stuff in friendlys...but if I see her outside of there I'm going to tell her off!

On Tuesday 3/28/23 @ 6:00 pm we went to friendlys Clifton park. When we first arrived, we were told we would have to wait 5-10 minutes. Plenty of booths, but no help. When we were seated, the tall blonde worker said, this is a Tuesday and everybody came out to eat dinner tonight, we only have three working your going to have to wait.

And wait we did, we sat in the booth no drinks for half an hour.

Finally our waitress came and took our order. Another half hour to get our food. Once served, and finished sat another half hour before she came back to bring out dessert. I asked for the bill then knowing it would be another half hour before we got it.

We finally left at 8:00pm. The servers worked independently, not as a team. If one wasn't doing anything she sat back or did busy work while…

Went into Friendlys at the middleborro rotary on 3/15/23 around 4:30pm and was absolutely disgusted with the "manager" Bernie on duty. While waiting to get my to go order taken, the "manager" was repeatedly belittling an employee to not only other coworkers, but to the customers as well.

The poor girl you could clearly tell was on the verge of tears with how she was being treated by the manager saying some really inappropriate comments, loud enough for everyone in the building to hear. Absolutely disgusting and inappropriate behavior from not just a manager but an adult.

After she took my order she continued to yell and name call one employee. No one should be treated like that at their job. If a manager has an issue with an employee it should be taken care of PRIVATELY, and not in front…

Your Queensbury/Glens Falls NY location is horrible! We went there last night and Megan waited on us. She said that she was one of the managers. We had to wait for a table, and it wasn't that busy. She made us wait almost 10 minutes to place our order.

She never came back once to check on us. There was a hair in my food, when I told her about it, she did nothing. We were there for 2 hours!!!! We saw her wait on other tables much quicker.

When we were paying the bill, she used the word "Fuck" in front of us. There were 2 women waiting for a table, they asked if they could get a table yet, Megan said "You will have to wait", in a nasty tone of her voice.

They got up and left. She is a heavy woman but not the pregnant woman. This person should be fired. You may have lost about 4 customers…

On February 9, 2023, around 6:15 PM I was at your Friendly’s restaurant at 4705 North Kings Highway, Myrtle Beach, SC. Let me just say, I have always gone to Friendly’s even when I live in a different state I am a little appalled and disheartening about the owner of your Friendly’s location at 4705 North Kings Highway, Myrtle Beach, SC.

The owner was quite rude. I was there for a meeting and he called the police and when the police arrived they attempted to arrest me. He claims that I was trespassing, buti I was only there for a Republican meeting.

00 gift card in December at various Friendly's restaurants. I always buy the pick 3 value meals which come with the entree , a salad and a drink. When presenting the coupon I was told that the coupon won't be Honored even though no restrictions were printed on the coupon.

I pretty much got yelled at by the server and manager. 00 gift cards. THIS IS FALSE ADVERTISING AND I WONT BE BACK AT FRIENDLY'S ANYTIME SOON BECAUSE OF THE ARROGANT MANNER IN HOW I WAS TREATED. J.

Went to the restaurant to get ice cream with my family was told that there was no brownies, but then the girl proceeded to make an order with brownies right in front of us, so that they were only for online orders was extremely rude. When I had mentioned some things she gave an order of brownies to us. It was nothing but crumbs, extremely rude.

I submitted my first red to your chat complaint section. Just wanted to say that the experience I had tonight at your Friendly in Glasgow Delaware was the worst. It took them 30 minutes to let us know they didn’t have the food available that we had ordered.

Then we told the manager that we had been waiting for over 39 minutes. The manager then changed the story and said they had lost our order. I come to conclusion that this location did not want to serve my wife and I.

We was not offered anything for our family inconvenience, they laughed at the situation. I don’t think it a laughing matter that I travel over 20 miles to eat at a location that did not value our Patronage. I will never go to your establishment anymore.

We ate at your Friendly’s location on Amherst Street we all had burgers and the food was not good the fries were done way before the other food so they were cold then we ordered dessert there were three of us and our Sundays were all made with the wrong stuff on them and stuff missing from them they need more help at that location not a good experience then the bill came and I found that it cost me $80 for something I was very disappointing thank you

I did an online order at the friendlys on hoosick st troy ny. When I got there it was just made so I didn't plan on having any issues. But when I got home #1 there was no coleslaw that was ordered, #2 my waffle fries were hard as a rock, #3 the bottom bun on my sliders were also hard as a rock, so I spent $39 and couldn't eat the majority of my meal.

I'm really not happy with it at all.

My family and I came in for lunch around 2 to the Berlin Tnpk Newington CT location and the service was horrible. The restaurant was about 25% occupied however we had to wait about 20 mins, the hostess was rude, the waitress never introduced herself, took our order brought our food out, the meat was dry and fries were a mixture of cooked and not cooked.

When my husband asked what happen to his Mac and cheese burger because there was a squished thin layer of plain noodles she simply shrugged her shoulders like she didn’t know or care. I’m not one to complain as I know the situation of the world but this experience was absolutely horrible.

I was checking out and I saw the one cook wipe his nose with his hand and did not wash his hands then touched food. No one in the kitchen was wearing gloves at all! My server was checking me out and I told her she told the manager who said something to the cook.

He and the other 2 cooks laughed and made fun of me. They thought it was funny. Manger never said a word to me not even an apology!!!!

My complaint is that I purchased Friendlys Maple Walnut ice cream ( from Shop Rite in Massapequa NY ) and there was NOT ONE WALNUT in the entire half gallon of ice cream ! I absolutely LOVE this flavor and LOVE friendlys restaurant but I was extremely disappointed with my purchase , and when I tried to send an email , Google said the page was unavailable, I tried a few times but

it continued to say the same thing , over and over. I am a very loyal customer and feel duped, not very happy

Today, we visited the Danville, PA restaurant #4007. We had an impromptu visit to the hospital, so I decided to treat my son's full-time nurse to lunch afterwards as a "Thank you for all you do". I was starving and hadn't eaten all day.

We had our choice of Perkins or Friendly's. My usual choice is Perkins because they have the fried pickles my son adores, and it is something he will and can actually eat.

However, we both made the comment that we pass Friendly's all the time, and we say we're going to stop because we haven't been in so long, but we never do. I realized, upon seating, why it had been so long since I had been there.

This isn't my first complaint about this chain.

However, it had been so many years that I decided it was worth another go. I get it, it's busy and well.... Covid…

Three times now I have experienced the same issue so I’m thinking this may be a common practice? The Friendly’s in East Longmeadow takes the phone off the hook so you can’t call in an order or call for any reason.

Today was the first time the woman admitted that they are short staffed and busy so that’s was why.. If I want to get a food order I have to go to the store order it and sit outside and wait for up to a half hour at times.

To me this is unacceptable and going to obviously affect the business because people are going to catch on to what is happening.

Additionally there was no apology or sorry. Just an abrupt “what can I get you “ when I politely suggested that the phone may be off the hook when I was greeted at the register to order. Unfortunately I have limited time to pick…

5 qt tub of Vienna mocha chunk ice cream last night and opened it tonight only to find a long hair half way down in the ice cream! The number on the tub is 02983900557 . This is very disappointing to see this .

I’m an Uber eats driver. I got to so many friendly and the staff is always so nice. Order is hot for the customer and correct never not one issue and always clean. Sadly the friendly right off of portion road in Lake Ronkonkoma,NY was the exact opposite.

Had dinner on Easter. I ordered the turkey dinner served with mashed potatoes ,dressing, and corn. I got mixed veggies and when I asked about the corn I sort of was dismissed. My husband ordered the cheese burger and fries and side of mac n cheese.

It came without cheeses and no fries. I asked for cranberry sauce and told they were out. Waitress gave us the bill and I asked about the free Sunday. She said she had to check. I told her it was right on the menu. We did get that. It was very disappointing. We will not return.

I went to the friendlys was waiting for some famous work friends and was sat at a booth by a lovely waitress. And then i hear the manager yelling and screaming that something wasnt done right. That they were all stupid and she could do the job better herself i will note my girlfriend was working there at the time its how i know who the manager was i desided not to order and

instead i took my party of famous cowarkers to nicks nest up the street because i didnt want to be near all that fighting. I ordered on 3-18 a burger fries and strawberry shortcake at 7:15 pm. All that arrived was the ice cream but I was charged for full meal. I then called thexstore and phone off hook tried for an hour. The friendlys in new hartford ny has started thus new thing where they place ice cream orders in the freezer by checkout but keep the meals for pickup across the way.

I believe this is confusing door dashers. If they see the ice cream they don't think to go over to another location to see if the oweson ordered a meal.

Also, anyone xan walk in and take the order out of the freezer by the checkout and pretend to be a door dasher. Bad set up and now I'm out the all American burger fee I was charged but never received. Evan Griffith

I have a complaint about the manager of the Sicklerville NJ Friendlys and how she treats her associates. My daughter just started her first job with Friendlys and since she has started her manager has made bets with other coworkers that she would fail and then continued to antagonize her so she would fail and so she would then win the bet.

She has continuously harassed my daughter while off the clock and today while she was in school threatening to write my daughter up over spilt bbq sauce in the fridge when my daughter left at ten last night. It should be the manager on duty who is responsible for checking that all things are up to code before leaving for the night.

If these issues aren’t fixed my daughter will be putting her two week notice in. com and noticed how many other employees…

I recently found out that if you are a senior and order off the senior menu, you cannot get a veterans discount. This makes no sense at all. Alot of our senior veterans have served our country with their lives.

I don't believe they should be denied a veterans discount because of their age and the menu they choose from. Thank you. I am looking forward to your response

Went to the Middleborough location last evening around 6 pm and was told a 10 minute wait. Lounge might be half full at this time. 9 minutes went by and now we were informed it is going to be at least a half hour wait now.

My wife and I decided not to wait. I asked what the delay was and was told the grill is backed up with on line orders. This might be normal for them, but I think the walk in customer is a little more important and should be taken care of.

Went to the Middlebrow Ma location tonight at about 5:30 6pm. Was told it would be about 10 minutes before they could seat us. Not even half of the restaurant was filled in the seating area. Approx 9 minutes into the wait they said now it was going to be at least half an hour wait to be seated.

“Yes 30 more minutes “ as my wife an I said we would not wait I asked what was the delay was and I was told the grill is tied up with on line orders. This was very disappointing to us.

I had lunch at your Friendly's location in Old Bridge on February 1st. Ordered a single serve Sundae for dessert and there was a long piece of cardboard in my Sundae. Complain about to the manager and not only was she rude she gave us only 50% off our meal.

Very frustrated over the situation and was treated very unfairly regarding the situation. Person's name was Brianna. she stated she was a manager. I understand xmas is a busy time but when you see 17 staff members(more at the back) clambering over each other it is quite off putting especially in these Covid times. One staff member even had her mask down over her nose.

Orders were getting mucked up over and over. Can not hear staff - as theres too many in there to start with. Order 2 Sundaes just to wait 15 minutes to be told the icecream has run out?? By this time our meals were almost cold.

Eventually we were given a refund, but the organisation was out of control. In no way am I blaming the staff, they have enough to do. It completely comes down to poor management. Won't be returning.

When we entered and were seated. I ordered a drink , asked for 2 packs of jelly and explained I was diabetic and my sugar was low. Someone brought the jelly as requested, I asked for a spoon. It never came.

When the waitress brought our drinks; I again requested a spoon. ” I was appalled. I felt as if she were speaking to an animal! I do not feel this was appropriate at all. The look on my face to her demonstrated my feelings. Nothing was said.

She took the order and walked away. Having a disability is bad enough; I should not have been treated/ spoken to in that manner.

On Saturday 8/21/21 my husband and I took his parents out to dinner for their 58th wedding anniversary. They chose FRIENDLYS ( Springfield St Agawam MA. When we were seeded there was our group of 4 and a booth of 2 patrons.

We were sat side by side. Our waitress took our drink order and the booth of 2 at the same time. When the Coke drinks were placed out n the table it(both) was noticeably watery. ). We let that go ….

Friendly's Johnstown NY 12095 facility for birthday dinner. 7 meals, 1 of which the corn was not cooked, situation not remedied as we are aware of short staffing we dismissed oversight. Three of the patrons from the group were six and under, after waiting 30 minutes for dessert which one of our party got up to check three times stating that the ice cream desserts were sitting on the counter made and not being served.

Upon arrival of the now milk ice cream dripping out of the bowls, we received an apology but not new dessert. indeed it was spoiled. I brought managers attention and she refused to taste so she could experience first hand.

not even an offer to remake the dessert or possibly a complimentary dessert for the children at a later date was offered. Possibly one of the worst…

Hello my name is Steve I was visiting the friendly's on merrit Blvd dundalk and my service was good but there was this manager there I guess she was there covering or something her name was karen but the way she spoke to the employees there was absolutely uncalled for.

She was speaking to this one person saying how she can't wait to go back to her store like she didn't even care about being there and I just felt like that was very rude and disrespectful to the people who are working there and I wanted to share my opinion about it.
