I wouldn’t even give 1 star if I could have. I was very disappointed with the customer service I received from game stop yesterday 9/12/23. This is what happened. I had placed an online order for a ps5 Spider-Man 2 duel sensor remote.
And I thought while I was at it I would go ahead an renew the pro membership which had gone up in price I must add. 00 (rounded up because I don’t remember what the vents was). Anyway, I ordered it using my card.
It was approved and the funds were placed on hold. The order never told me it was approved or declined or there was a problem or anything. It just sat there open still waiting for payment. I went to game stop two days in a row to sell my cell phone which is practically new. The employee wasted my time by making me wait there almost an hour. Just for him to tell me that he couldn’t get the information from my phone which I could have gave to him but obviously he didn’t want to buy my phone because he taught.
It was stolen just because of the way I look which is racial profiling. So why make me waste my time like if he’s going through his computer doing nothing just to say that the cord was the problem he didn’t know what excuse to use .

I placed an order for a brand new PS5 with GameStop. They shipped the item via FedEx and when delivered, FedEx took a picture, of which was NOT my house. I contacted FedEx and they could not locate the package and explained to me they couldn't help me as I was not the shipper, (I am considered a 3rd party) because GameStop shipped the item.

Gamestop online is a joke. For the second time a preorder was never shipped to me. They claim the USPS lost the package but it was never picked up by the service. Waited called and was assured if I just waited 3-5 more days it would be resolved.
It was not and they acted like giving me a refund was a privilege. That they were making an exception. They charged my PayPal even though it never actually shipped. 8 days still no refund. I have an open dispute with PayPal.

Would give zero stars! I made an order on Nov. 18,2022, of four (4) Nintendo switch games. I only received two of the games. I have emailed, I have called customer service and been reassured that I would receive my refund on the items I did not receive.
Gamestop took my money for all for games. It is now Feb. 20, 2023 and I have not been issued my refund, nor have I received the games I paid for. Game stop will never receive my business again & I will be sure to tell everyone I know to spend their money elsewhere!

I purchased a used XBox1 a few days ago. The console wouldn’t turn on and it was defective. So I took it back the next day for a refund. They said they would return the funds to my debit card.
I walked out thinking everything was fine. Until I checked my account and the money never went back on my card. I looked at the return receipt and it said “ chip failed”. So I went back in the store, and after an hour was still told there’s nothing they can do.
They pretty much took back the console and kept my money. So I have to return back to the store tomorrow when they talk to their customer service to find out what the issue is with their end returning the money back to my card.

Purchased 3 Xbox one 1 TB digital and 1 Xbox series S order was over 1000 dollars.
Also purchased 4 separate 1 year in store replacement warranty. The Xbox series S controller will not stay synced to the Xbox so I was going to exchange it within first 30 days not evan using my warranty they refused it at the store because it was over 500 dollars.
My 1 year replacement warranty says nothing about that so the in store warranty I paid for not worth paper it's printed on.

I tried to purchase two gift cards at the Gamestop in the Viewmont Mall in Dickson City PA using a Rewards Card that is like cash. The Manager, Ash gave me a hard time and wouldn't allow the purchase because it wasn't a cash transaction.

I have recently through Gamestop's online store tried to purchase items. The order would never go through despite all the information being correct, on my account or otherwise. Their call number is a joke as they must share it with another company for one, do not recall the said company, and two leave you on the line for well over an hour.
When I finally did get a human, they tried to tell me their system had my account on hold for some bizarre reason. Not my credit card or gift card, but my actual account information. It was insinuated that something had gone wrong on my end to have it wind up on this list.

I had ordered the Super Smash Brothers Ultimate game for the Switch as a xmas gift. When I got home Wednesday evening, I had 2 messages at the house....so I played them. One was gamestop about my pre-order!!! Now my child knows he is getting the game for xmas...along with the Switch...because I got a voice mail that I never knew I was going to get! I called twice to try and cancel. The second call the person said they put in a recall request and that I wouldn't recieve the items. Here I am though with the items. I would return them but since they're already here with me I might as well just keep them.
