Paid $3200 for a refrigerator on 12/1/2023, 5 months later middle drawer and bottom freezer quit, service guy came out a week and a half later, couldn’t get very well GE support on the phone, so he guessed it was the computer board. Came back a week later, and installed the computer board.

Didn’t fix it, so I called in a day later to report it and case worker said she has to get confirmation from service tech before she can do anything. A week later she got it and now it’s been a month without a refrigerator and service tech has to come out again.

A month without a refrigerator is unacceptable! Do not buy a GE product! And customer service is unexceptable!! n

we bought a new fridge and it stopped cooling like 4m into getting it, so we called GE and it took a week for the technician to come, he comes and says he needs to replace parts so he ordered the parts which took 2 weeks to arrive, then we had to wait another week for a technician to come to fix it… well the technician came today and told us that the parts that the first technician ordered aren’t what is needed and so he ordered another part which will take another week to get here and then once it gets here we will need to wait until they have availability to come and fix it… then he says that even if he fixes with the new part it might still not work!

So I am trying to talk to someone at the company for them to just send us a new fridge since they sold us an obviously faulty fridge…

Dishwasher brand new, turned one once and leaked, called GE customer service and they ordered parts twice and still leaked, another person came and said it was "cracked" , was told another dish washer was ordered,was delivered and came but was never taken off truck because it was also "broken".

Was told to call customer service to order another one but now no one knows anything about the reorder for new dishwasher, was told to schedule for a repairman to come out. Come out and check what??? We were already told this one was cracked.

I NEED THIS DISHWASHER REPLACED NOW!!!! Call me anytime 336-613-3955

1. E. Appliance washer and dryer was delivered to my home. 2. By July 22nd, the dryer was no longer heating. 3. E. service department and explained that my dryer had stopped heating and I wanted a new dryer sent out. E.

would schedule a technician to come out. I was also transferred to the "Customer Care" person (Kathy or Cathy) and given a case #069864858. Kathy gave me the phone number 800 386 1215 option #4 to call, if I had any more concerns.

Again, I asked for a new dryer and was told a technician would have to come out. E. protocol was that I would receive a call within 48 hrs from the "locator team," and they would tell me when my appointment was. Within 48 hrs.

Ice maker that is out of warranty dropped a plastic part into the basket that was broken into sharp pieces by the ice auger. The sharp plastic shard ends up in the glass of water and cuts my lip. Customer service couldn’t care less about this incident and literally told me tough luck for you.

E sucks for customer service and after sales customer satisfaction.

We have had our GE dryer less than a year. The heating element broke. Technician came out, in a repair truck without parts. Ordered the part & scheduled the repair 3 weeks out. The part came the NEXT DAY. Today is day of scheduled repair, they said I was supposed to call when part came for an appointment, not true.

Then phone person said tech called and didn't receive an answer, not true, I have received 30 spam calls in the last few hours, now I am waiting another 9 days to complete the repair. If it does not get repaired or part fails again I will be requesting a new dryer and it will be the last GE appliance EVER!

Bought a dryer less than a year ago, heating element has already gone out. GE has dropped the ball since the very first phone call to start a warranty claim. I have now been without a working dryer for over 4 weeks without resolution.

Had to cancel plans to sit at home for a tech that never called or showed up, had a tech diagnosis the problem and then never return phone calls or show back up. Escalated up to the consumer relations department next available service appt is a week out.

Completely unprofessional, rude and do not care about the consumer at all.

Do not buy GE appliances, I have had trouble with both cooktop in the past and now a fridge/freezer. They have very poor customer service and not willing to help the customer. Pay extra and go with a better company.

The WORST design ever imagined. Why would you put dark Grey lettering and numbers on a BLACK background ? What engineer thought that would be a brilliant idea and VP said "Yes, I see your genius shining through." Even small children know you need contrast to able to read the numbers and letters, AND to know where the buttons are. I have owned many GE appliances in the past. But NEVER again. I have talked to GE customer service. The shortened version of what was said was "Damm, sorry. But it SUCKS to be you, Too bad. good bye." I will NEVER own another he appliance for the rest of my life. Yes, I know not a big threat. But I do need a toaster, disk washer, fridge, washer and dryer. So My turn "Sucks to be you" I am NOT impressed with your "genius".

My ge fridge has a known design flaw which I confirmed online and by the ge technician who came to repair it. He said the repair might not work because of the flaw but he'd try and anyway, and I could get the money I spent on repair ($400) put towards a new fridge if the repair didn't work.

All I had to do was call customer service. ) What company doesn't stand behind their work and make good when they take your money and give you nothing in return? GE, I guess does that. Disgusting!

In July 18, 2018, we bought GE Double Wall Ovens - Model PK7500SF6SS - SERIAL # GL009997Q - We purchased them because of GE's credibility. These ovens are both self-cleaning. Since I keep my ovens clean and use the bottom oven mostly for breads and things that will spill over, I have only cleaned.

my top oven a couple of times which was fine and attempted to clean bottom oven a couple of months ago. The reading showed 4 hours which I though was way too long for what I was trying to clean so I reduced to 1 hour.

When cleaning was done, I turned off cleaning and when all was cool, I opened the bottom oven door to check it. When I attempted to close the door, it would not close. I called and asked the Support Team at GE what I should do and they told me things like turn off power to the…

I purchased a GE refrigerator in January from Best Buy. A month later the compressor was making noises, and I was told by Best Buy that I had to contact GE. From there the nightmare begins. They use third party service ppl, turns out I had a bent frame.

They eventually after missed appointments send me a new fridge, this time with a dented freezer door. After countless more no show third party service people come, they finally agree and order new freezer door. Again missed appointments for new freezer install and they install wrong door.

Now freezer isn’t working properly and I can’t get them to come out to verify that it’s the wrong door. I’m so frustrated. I’ve lost days of work and days on the phone. This is horrible and I’ve never had a properly working fridge.

New GE dryer GTD42EASJWW, s/n UT875816C. FIRE HAZARD because the lint falls down into the dryer vent when you clean the lint screen. Very unsafe design. Doesn’t matter how carefully I try to remove the lint, it goes down into the vent.

Tech comes to repair my less than 3 year old GE Cafe refrigerator because the freezer stopped working. He gets an error code that is not on the list of error codes and calls ge to find out what the error code means and they tell him that they cannot tell him what the error code means because we are beyond the 1-year manufacturer warranty.

We have been without a washing machine for almost 2 months. They send out the repair msn to asses it, he orders parts, the parts fail. We are back to square one. It’s time for GE to replace this very expensive piece of garbage that we can’t use or fix.

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. So much time has been wasted going to the laundromat, family members homes to do laundry and waiting on the parts and the repair men. I am active duty military. I must have clean uniforms every day.

I can’t afford to continue to go to the laundromat.

I scheduled a service call 2 weeks ago. I am now sitting hoping for the service guy will call me back because for some reason my phone did not ring and he made the assumption that I am not home.

I got a message from ge saying to call them because the service man could not reach me. I called them back immediately. It took many minutes to get through ge phone promps. Bottom line, I will not make another appointment and try to make the adjustment myself.

Be smart and never by a GE Applaince.

I am now rescheduling delivery for the 4th time beginning February 28t from the GE Store! They do not communicate changes or work with the customer at all. They don’t care you have to miss work and not get paid. Horrible horrible horrible!

I don’t receive tomorrow, I’m canceling order!

Had my dishwasher repaired under warranty 3 times and it is now broken again. This has been a lemon from the start and should have been replaced free of charge. Now they want me to pay $115 for a tech to come out and they would "assist with parts and labor".

I am extremely disappointed with the response. I will never buy another GE product.

At the end of December, my wife and I moved into a new condo in a new community in Frederick, MD. All appliances are GE. They are registered and under full warranty, We noticed that the door was not closing or sealing properly on the gas oven and heat was escaping from the left side.

In addition, one interior rack was very difficult to move and the bottom draw did not open properly. We had to go through GE customer service and set up a service call for the morning of February 8, 2023. The technician ascertained that the bottom left frame of the oven was bent and apparently the oven had been dropped sometime between leaving the factory and installation in the condo.

My GE refrigerator doesn’t cool. It is still under warranty. I’ve had 6 service calls in the last 4 months and $100’s worth of spoiled food. No solution to the problem and no replacement being offered under the ‘guise’ of no service records.

I am lied to and it is just appalling and unacceptable.

My wife and I moved into a new condo on Dec. 22, 2022 with all GE appliances. On February 8, 2023, we had an approved GE service tech come to our condo to examine the gas oven which is under warranty.

This took a while to set up. The issues are the front door was not closing properly allowing heat (and gas) to escape on the left side, the bottom draw was not opening properly, and the lower inside rack was difficult to move.

It was ascertained that the bottom left frame was bent, the damage occurring sometime between leaving the factory and installation in the condo. A series of pictures were sent by the tech to GE Customer Service displaying the bent frame and there was a lengthy phone discussion.

A new oven was approved (Case #09500545). We were told GE Customer Service would contact us…

The Customer Care (service) department is the least concerned about customer's needs than I have ever seen, and the Consumer Relations won't do anything to advocate for the customers either. The CEO sits behind closed doors and has no idea how bad the management staff performs. Maybe he does, but doesn't want to spend any effort trying to fix this dying shell of a company.

Purchased top of the line dual fuel oven and the control panel has gone out 2 times in a year. One GE customer service number said since the oven was purchased through home Depot GE doesn't have to fix it.

I've never heard of such a thing! I have been without a working oven for 2 weeks now and I have to wait another 2 weeks for the part to arrive. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

I've been married 47 years and have had many appliances . This is the worst customer service ever. When I asked for a number for corporate I was told they don't have a number. Isn't that convenient. I'm angry. I paid $4000 for this oven and it's a piece of crap.

The fact that I cannot cook for my family means nothing to them.

Got a new router and my washer and dryer will not reconnect. Since June of 2022 I have been waiting for GE to do SOMETHING!! Wait on hold, do the same diagnostics every time to find it will not reconnect. They escalate the problem.

I am to wait for them to contact in 5 business days, they never do and the tech I get each time tells me he sees in my notes that no one has actually followed up. Rinse, repeat - EVERY phone call.

My Family all pitched in to buy my elderly mother a new washer/dryer package. After problems with delivery & set up she received the appliances December 12th. After doing a few loads an error lite came on with the washer.

It will not go off. Contacted GE customer service. Service was for 12/24. I confirmed appt that morning. Had correct phone number all was good. Family took day off work waiting for tech, No show for visit. Said they had the wrong phone number.

It was correct when I verified appt in the morning. Now they want me to wait another week for another appt. It’s not fair. Spent a lot of money on appliances, installation & warranty all for what?? To be treated so unfairly.

We purchased a GE HotPoint washer in July 2022. In Nov 2023, our washing was no longer working. It stopped filling with water, and would bang uncontrollably while on the spin cycle. We googled and did everything that was a simple fix as we didn't want to void our warranty.

After month of trying to make an appointment with GE, we finally were able to get in contact with someone. The hold times are absolutely insane, and a lot of times they simple hang up on you.. On Jan. 9, our appointment day, we called to see what time a tech would arrive, we were told 8-5.

My new GE refrigerator under warranty does not work -- All food spoiled. I have been trying to get it repaired for almost a month. Service tech came twice and fridge still does not work.

Third service visit schedued for yesterday, but tech never showed up. Multiple calls to GE customer relations and many hours spent on hold. Repeated requests to replace fridge ignored. Customer Relations person promised to send an email where I could connect withut being on hold for hours.

We purchased this in 2021 and have had nothing but problems. Plastic pieces continually break off, to include the piec that holds the glasses, that we can’t put back on and pieces that we don’t know where they belong. The piece that is on the undercarriage of the top rack that spins falls off nearly every other cycle.

We don’t know what to do. We are senior citizens living on social security and can’t afford another dish washer, but this is a complete lemon. We have NEVER been so dissatisfied with an appliance. We have had GE before and have never had this kind of problem.

We have typically had appliances for 15 years. Please let me know what you can do for us. This is an awful machine and has been awful from the beginning and at our age we should not have to deal with this. Thank you.…

I purchased a GE Top Load Washer (PTW600BSRWS) 5 months ago and it stopped working. I contacted Lowe's (where I purchased it) and they said I needed to contact GE since it's still under the manufacturer's warranty. GE dispatched a Service Company to look a the washer and they determined that the Main Board, Drain Pump and Locking Mechanism is bad.

The Service Mechanic said he'd put the order in and replace the parts once they arrived. I was contacted the next day and told that the parts are on backorder and they have no idea when the parts will arrive.

One month later I went to Lowe's to see what they could do. They told me to call GE and demand an "RA Number" (Return Authorization Number). I've now spent the past 4 days on the phone with GE as they "look for the replacement parts".…

I bought a brand new stainless steel GE dishwasher with my stimulus money it cost me over $600 and it is completely worthless even when I wash off my dishes before I put them in it does not clean them it is the most awful dishwasher I have ever had in my life it runs perfectly fine but it don't get nothing clean I'm constantly having to wash spoons and stuff when they come out of the dishwasher I would never ever recommend a GE product again

I bought a front load GE washer that cost over 1,000, not including the cost for the pedestal in May of 2021. The computer board has gone out and GE is refusing to help. I have made numerous attempts and have gotten no where.

BUYER BEWARE if you are looking to purchase this product, not only did I have this issue, but the door also locked and wouldn't open. GE refuses to accept any responsibility for their poor manufacturing and pass it off on the consumer.

I have been without a washer for over 3 months.

First I waited 3 weeks for a service repair person came in on Oct 19. So it needs 5 parts; one on back order so I was rescheduled for Dec 8!!! ) Finally the backordered part came in on Dec 3 and unbeknownst to me, GE decided to cancel my appointment and reschedule on Dec. 12.

Then on Dec 12 it got rescheduled AGAIN for another 2 weeks to Dec 28. NO ONE ANSWERS. NO ONE HELPS ME! Please help me. I can not wait any longer. This is ridiculous and so UNPROFESSIONAL! Please contact me as soon as possible and schedule repair this week.

GE clearly Does NOT stand by their products, instead requiring the consumer to jump through hoops and wait long periods of time to resolve a complaint of a defective appliance!!! I've been put through the lengthy process of numerous phone calls, long waiting periods, multiple service calls (also with long waiting periods). This is not a matter of a dryer breaking from use, it was delivered Nonfunctional!!!

My 90 and 92 year old aunt and uncle who live 1200 miles from me are unable to obtain a copy of an owners manual for the new range they bought 2 weeks ago. They do not have a computer.

I was told that there is no way for your company to provide a manual to them other than email which they do not have. While I understand the move to be more environmentally friendly there should be some way to make an exception for certain people(based on age mostly) who simply do not have the ability to do these things!

They called the store they purchased the stove at and were told "we are not in the teaching business, we are in the selling business," and they also asked the delivery person who was unable to help them. They have been unable to change temperature on their new oven for 2 weeks which is…

I call GE customer care in regards to my GE profile French refrigerator. No longer functioning at all. The customer care agent agreed with me that it was under the five year warranty and told me that I would be responsible for any repairs that were caused by my negligence.

We have had a terrible experience dealing with GE. We bought a washer and dryer that took more than 4 cancelled attempts to be delivered. Once delivered, both machines did not work properly, it took another month with two more cancelled service appointments to repair the machines. The service man said both machines were broken, we called GE to get another work order created to pick up the broken machines, and that too has been botched.

I am an independent contractor and have to loose work to be home for delivery/repairs/pickup. It has been an awful experience, we will never purchase anything from GE again.

We bought a GE Profile dishwashers only 5yrs ago (10/26/17). We've had problems with it for different reasons, leaking etc. Now it's just dead. Will beep once in awhile but won't stay on for more than a few seconds.

I don't think it should only last 5 yrs. If there's a problem with an appliance you should send out recalls so we can get things fixed on you not me. I shouldn't have to pay the guy to come in and tell me what's wrong and then charge a mint to fix. would be cheaper to just dump it which is what I'm going to do with this one now. not happy at all.

I purchased a GE washer model GTW-335ASN2WW, serial #;SS213261G at Home Depot last year. I have had a person to my home 2 times. I do not like this washer at all. I thought I was doing a good thing buying a new washer.

I do not like the sound of the squeeching that it makes during the wash cycle. I have a well and the limited time that the system has for water to enter the washer most of the time does not give a large load enough water to wash a full load of cloths.

What is the point of having a washer if you cannot wash a full load. I am so disappointed with the GE of now. I have grown up and GE items and I thought highly of your products. But I will not buy another GE washer.

You need to go back to having a top of the line product. I expect to get a product that is completely useable…

I am a 75 year old widow, who ordered my third set of GE ovens. Didn't hesitate as I had them originally when we built the house; replaced with same 27 years ago, and just before covid hit, replaced my double ovens with GE profile again.

In less than 3 years, the digital panel clock no longer works (and to replace would be in the hundreds at my costsw) and now the upper oven light is out, right before Thanksgiving. I will admit I'm used to the "old days" where service and product reliability counted.

Very disappointed with GE; I know you don't care and will receive an automatic "Im sorry" response Too bad, will be replacing a dishwasher and was going to do GE Profile, but will not. Just bought a washer/dryer, NOT GE Again, I know you don't care, such a shame.

On Sept. 26th, 2022, I called your office to tell them my microwave was not working. Sparks were going on inside the microwave. It was dangerous. They sent out a repairman on Oct. 3rd who told us it was missing a part. I told him that part was never there when we bought the microwave. He said he would order the part, which would arrive in a few days. It never happened. I emailed several times and called several times, to no avail. They sent out another repairman on Oct. 31, and the same thing happened. He said it would come in a few days. Never came.

I called this morning. Took almost an hour to get through. I am very disappointed with GE Appliance, which I have used all my life. I am a senior citizen but will use it no more. If this needs to be taken care of in the next week, I will go…

We had a Ryan home built 3 yrs. ago and the GE appliances were included. After a yr. the warranty expires. Our dishwasher no longer works only after 3 yrs. We had issues with it and a repair man came out.

I am extremely disappointed with the warranty service and only lasting a couple yrs. I will not buy or recommend you GE appliances.

Trying to get a resolution to have someone fix my dishwasher. Has been going on since 10/3. Next appt will be 11/28. After 45 minutes on and asking to speak with a manager they disconnected me with no resolution. Would not recommend GE Appliances.

My GE refrigerator that I bought a year and a half ago was making a lot of noise from the motor. We had a repairman come to the house three times trying to fix it they change the motor one time they change the Computer board.

Nothing fixed it so they ordered me a new one. I waited a year and a half for a new fridge The new one came and it still makes a noise but it’s not as loud. I am done buying GE products I’m very disappointed in them
