I purchased a 2019 Chevy Silverado 1500 at the end of January 2024. I have had several problems that I have had to have fixed. Then at the end of May the truck started to make a weird noise. I took it to a mechanic and was told due to warranty I had to take it to dealer.

The Truck went back first few days of June, and I was told I needed a new engine, but the good news is that it's not backordered. I called them today and they let me know the engine is backordered.

They are doing nothing to help me with a rental, demo, nothing. I bought this vehicle because it's GMC by what I thought was a reputable dealer. I was wrong, take your money and we are done with you. I 'm horrified that both of these companies think this is an acceptable way to treat a customer.

Can I absolutely give them no stars please?! I have a 2019 Chevy Sonic. I bought it from Chevrolet JBA in 2019 of May. Car had 11 miles on it when I bought it and January of 20 20. It was in the shop for the cooling system again in the shop for the cooling system in 2022.

2023 and 2024 open the complaint with the better business bureau against general motors and got a phone call today that stated pretty much you're out of luck. I quote Leticia said to me any expenses that need to be done to the car you will have to pay out of pocket because you're bumper to bumper warranty is no longer valid.

When I asked if she could connect me to somebody to at least investigate to possibly start a recall, she told me there was nobody to transfer to. When I asked to speak to a manager she said there…

Took my son's 2014 Corvette to replace front tires at the Chevy dealer and ended up paying over $1,200 for alleged stuff all which seemed to be suspicious. Perfectly working vehicle now has a mysterious engine noise, that they probably caused and wants to exploit.

I am at a loss. How do I hold them accountable and more importantly. how do I get it resolved.

I took my 2005 corvette to Valley Chevrolet located in Wilkes Barre Pennsylvania for service in August (almost 3 months ago) and have gotten run around the car would not start so I had it towed to this dealer service dept after 2 weeks and no response from the dealer I went there to see what was up I was told he was short on service technicians and

I finally received my Cadillac Lyric after I pre-ordered it for 2 years and it was given to me on 7/31 after only 2 days of having my lyrig it tried doing an update and the 12v battery died leaving me stranded. I took the vehicle to service and it was returned to me after 3 days with a new 12v but the service department forgot to force the updated the vehicle tried again to do the update over night and left me stranded again the very next day.

Service once again placed a new 12v battery and forced the update. I once gain get my vehicle and after finally using the vehicle that it needed to be charged went to a Fast charging station and the vehicle kept rejecting the fast charging after 3 tried I gave up but the attempts itself burned the big lithium battery.

0 duramax Mileage 21000 Truck stalled on by-pass Took it to local Chevy service center. They checked it out the next day and said truck had contaminated fuel. They showed me the fuel filter and it had ruptured and let contaminated fuel into fuel system.

They told me since the fuel was contaminated that the warranty did not apply. I told them that since the fuel filter failed they should be responsible for the contamination to the rest of fuel system. I told them that I would be willing to pay for fuel tank and filter housing cleaning. They again said no. 6 duramax for work. 00 for that repair.

6 duramax with 180,000 miles with never any issues. 6 duramax. Please respond

I own a 2012 Grand Cherokee Overland with the lifetime warranty. I have turned it in for lift system failure multiple time ($100) deductible each time. The last time they kept it 22 days; The lift system fails to lift the vehicle to off road level 2. Every time i get it repaired it fails within 2 weeks.

They seem to not be able to find the leak and fix it correctly Please advise. The have rebuilt the compressor and replaced hoses.

Ever call for an update on your car (after 2 weeks of silence) and have your case handler berate you for wasting her time because she didn't have an update and then hang up on you? I mean literally berate you then hang up.

I bought a brand new Bolt EUV 8 months ago. For the past 6 months it has been in the shop 5x over a period of 2 months and is still not fixed. Currently it is sitting in my garage and I can't drive it with the check engine lights on for the features they have been trying to repair.

I don't how to begin. The instruments panel is the worst thing l have had to deal with , If l wanted to deal with a computer while I drive l would have bought one . The radio has a mind of its own .

I would like to file a complaint against Davidson's GMC dealership in Watertown NY. I lease a 2022 GMC Terrain. I have less than 7k miles on the vehicle. It broke down and they were the closest GM dealer. It was towed there on the27th of August, they told me they were unable to look at my car, and I would have to make an appointment, which the soonest date they had was SEPTEMBER 28th.

I said that was fine but I would need a loaner vehicle as I work two jobs and do no have a spare car. They told me they do not do that and they could not provide me with anything.

I think this is complete BS. I pay good money to lease a vehicle and expect good service, this was HORRIBLE service. They were not compassionate, refused to help me and pretty much told much told me I was shit out of luck.

We have been loyal GM customers through the years. The last 2 vehicles we have purchased have been very disappointing. Our 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe had to have a transmission overhaul at 20,000 miles and our 2016 Chevrolet Silverado required a new transmission at 114,000 miles.

This is clearly a defective flaw with these transmissions. If you wish to keep us as loyal customers you need to make this right!

I brought my 2020 Chevrolet Trail Boss in to find out why there is water coming in the cab near the rear window. Turns out it was faulty bolts causing water to enter the cab on the rear spoiler on the roof.

Naturally my 3 year warranty has just expired so they won't cover it and neither will the extended warranty. I have been a loyal Chevy owner most of my driving life. Pretty disappointed that it's going to cost me almost $600 to fix a problem that has been well documented on the internet for 2019-2020 trucks.

I can see that this would not be covered if I added the rear spoiler, but this is a standard part installed in the factory. i don't feel that I'm responsible for something that you knew was a problem and obviously fixed it on vehicles after 2020.

Very Disappointed in both Portsmouth Chevy and GM for their lack of support in fixing my truck. 2019 Chevy Silverado. purchased back in October 2022, in January I had to have new lifters and cams put in and charged over $3200.

00 to get this done. NO WAY THIS SHOULD BE HAPPENING with a truck with 80,000 Miles. 00 and then being told there is nothing more they can do. totally not right I would think twice about this dealership and GM products.

Our 2014 Chevy Equinox died in April 2023 with no warning. Numerous calls and letters to General Motors have been unproductive, and the responses (by phone and in writing) have shown little or no care about our problem and the financial hardship it has caused our family.

Very tired of the "We're Sorry" response with no solutions presented. I was told your policy is to have the damaged vehicle towed to a Chevy dealer for diagnosis, but when we called them to set that up, they never called back (Bergstrom Chevrolet in Appleton, WI).

I purchased a CERTIFIED pre-owned vehicle from (CAVENDER BUICK GMC WEST) and with that certification comes a list of services and assurances, including a 172 point inspection and repairs of any items that do not conform to the inspection. I have a copy of that inspection form and after reading the list of items to be inspected and repaired, I found numerous items that were not inspected and or not addressed or repaired.

After contacting the sales person and requesting that an inspection be preformed and all noted repairs be made, I have not received any response from the dealership management. below I have attached the 172 point inspection form, and my email to the dealership along with photos also sent to the dealership.

I'm a retired GMAC Financial employee and just leased a new 2023 Cadillac XT4 from Crestview Cadillac in Rochester Hills, Michigan on June 19, 2023. This vehicle had been part of the dealer's loaner pool and was being offered for sale/lease with 4,156 miles on the odometer.

The lease terms we agreed upon call for 48 months with 10,000 miles per year in allowable mileage. When I asked, the salesman, Adam King, he verified/substantiated that my total allowable mileage on the lease agreement would be 44,156 or 11,039 per year.

The reason I went 48 months was to insure I had a minimum of 40,000 miles to work with. At signing, the lease showed 8,961 miles on line #8 'excessive wear and use' rather than 11,039. Clearly, someone had subtracted rather than added the existing mileage to the…

I now have 50,000 miles on it and noticed the rear window was leaking because it made a water stain on my headliner. I took it to the local gmc dealer where i purchased the truck and had to get the rear window replaced.

00 out of pocket to get it replaced. I don't have a problem with the dealership because this was a manufacture defect from the factory. I have owned General motors products all my life I'm 57. A new truck rear window should not leak!!!

I purchased a 2017 Chevrolet HD4500 Cab Over last year from my local Chevrolet Dealer. I was told it was their service truck and had only 14000 miles.

I paid the full price for the truck as if it was new in 2017. Less than one year and after putting approximately 3500 miles on the truck, it coded and went into limp mode and would go over 50 miles an hour. Also it was blowing the marker and some lights fuse. The dealer reset the computer and replaced the fuse and charged me $150.00 and sent me on my way. The fuse for the marker lights was blow within 2 miles after leaving the dealer. 22 i did not have my 2015 Sonic repaired there i purchased the sonic there. I purchased a Chevy Spark from Morgan Chevrolet Tampa with s fair trade on the Sonic. Morgan Chevrolet told me they only charge 1 diagnostic fee.

First and foremost I would like to say how disappointed I am with GM. You state you want customers for life, but your customer service is one of the worst I’ve experienced. I have been waiting on a steering wheel for my 2021 Tahoe RST since March.

I have been told three different times that the steering wheel was supposed to be shipped. Once in March, once in May, and most recently July 3rd. And every time is was supposed to ship, I would get a call from the resolution specialist that has been helping me(who has been gray by the way) that says the part is delayed.

It has now been five months that my Tahoe is sitting in a shop waiting for a brand new steering wheel. I had to file a complaint with Better Business Bureau in May for GM to get in contact with me to start giving me updates on…

I purchased a brand new 2020 Chevy Blazer from JBA, in Glen Burnie, MD. At approximately 40,000 miles the vehicle had issues with the transmission intermittently slipping and loss of power. On one occasion, I had to have it towed due to loss of power and surging while driving on the highway nearly causing me to be rear ended.

I paid diagnostic fees or numerous occasions, lost time from work, and have spent a great deal of money in rental fees to only be made fun of and laughed at by the service reps. I was repeatedly told because no lights were on and because GM did not have any notes of this issue occurring with any other vehicles, there was nothing wrong with my vehicle.

My mom and I worked with a local dealership to get her into a new leased Buick. Only after signing the lease did we learn that the car doesn’t have all of the electronic chips needed to make all of the safety features work. If we would have known, we would have never signed the lease. We are told that they have NO TIMELINE on when we can expect the chips. We feel like we have been lied to and deceived. Now I just want to understand when the chips will be available.

Vin number can be provided if that helps. At this rate we will never deal with that dealership or GM again if this isn’t rectified and made right.

Brought my 2017 Suburban in for service [ I have a extended warranty] for the truck going in and out of 4wheel drive by itself, may of 2023. Dealer could not find a problem or duplicate. Told me to bring it back if it happens again, they supposedly did a complete vehicle inspection.

Problem still exists, Brought it back to Dealer July 5 2023 took General Manager for test drive to show him. GM put out a bulletin on this issue for my make and year model and motor size stating that the ECM may have an improper diagnostic calibration causing this problem. Big Star called me 7/3/2021 to let me know the battery was low and needed to be replaced or they would not work on the truck.

This was the reason the truck was in there shop to start with. Waiting three day to check the battery then telling me they would not run diagnostic with a low battery makes no sense because this means they could never run the diagnostic on the truck.

4 ecotec poor motor design with flaws known about yet ignored leaving consumers with high repair cost to fix. Coolant inlet to motor never should have been made of plastic and poorly placed on motor leaving a garrented failure stuck to the customer at a high cost.

Valve cover made of plastic another piss poor design stuck to the customer to replace I know I've had to replace 5 not happy, timing chain issue known about, transmission issues... ex ex ex. Fix these issue and stand behind these issues the difference between GM and Ford is ford will admit their faults and submit recalls to fix the issue while GM known about their issue chose to ignore sticking the repair to the customer.

GM, recently my 86 year old sister brought her 2002 Oldsmobile to Empire Chevrolet for an annual inspection. The dealership failed the inspection stating that the rack and pinion mechanism was completely defective, that it was dangerous to drive and that the repair would cost $2000.

When she questioned them they cut the price to $1600.

Subsequently, my nephew brought the vehicle to another private repair garage. It’s owner did a complete inspection of the car and found only a minor and insignificant fluid leak: the reservoir had plenty of fluid in it. This car is in pristine condition with low mileage.

The car passed the NY inspection and a sticker was installed. I make no judgement on how General Motors deals with this type of complaint. Personally I find the business practices of this…

I took my 23 Tahoe to a dealership. The sound keeps going out. They told me that there was nothing they could do at this time because General Motors wanted to try to resolve it. It is now been two weeks. Nothing has been resolved.

I am paying a lot of money for this vehicle. I’m about to go on vacation a 6 Hour Drive. I’m also paying for OnStar, so I have all of this out-of-pocket expense and the problem is not being resolved.

I AM THE OWNER OF A 2016 CHEVY CORVETTE WITH 10,000 MILES AND RECENTLY THE CAR STARTED TO FLUTTER WHILE DRIVING. I RESEARCHED AND FOUND SERVICE BULLETIN 18-NA-355 WHICH INDICATES THE PROBLEM. I CHECKED WITH MY DEALER HE SAID ITS MY RESPONSIBILITY DUE TO YEAR OF MY CORVETTE.

THEY QUOTED A COST OF $800 TO FLUSH AND REPLACE THE TRANSMISSION FLUID WITH THE MOBIL 1 THAT THE BULLETIN SAYS TO USE. I FIND IT DIFFICULT TO ACCEPT THAT THIS ISSUE IS MINE TO FIX WHEN ITS AN ONGOING PROBLEM WITH MULTIPLE GM VEHICLES.

Gentlemen, had a repair done at a Cherolet dealer in PasoAncho, Cali, Colombia. The imobilizer was found needing repair and was repaired there and key ket was made. Today the car will not start with the cause beign the immobilier. Now the same dealership that did the repair will not even look at the car for warranty. It appears this part or repair is covered under the GM warranty. Please let me know

Had a problem with my GMC truck. Newer truck only 2 years old. The part was on national back order so my dealer had no answer on when I may get my truck back. I had appreciate the honesty of the dealer but obviously wanted to get help or know more .

Called GMC customer service and that is where my frustration went through the roof. To keep it short they appointed someone to my case who never was able to give me any help or information. She not once called me when she said she would or at all.

I asked if there was a supervisor I could talk to and was told I would get a call in 24 to 48 hours. I have yet to talk to a supervisor and has been 4 days since I made that call.

When I say customer service center in no help it is not an exaggeration.

I took my truck in to have the recall of the block heater completed. The first time I was told that it had to be dropped off to cool overnight and that is why they were NOT able to do it.

The most recent time I took into consideration the fact that it needed to cool and took a personal day of vacation to have it repaired. After waiting all day I call right at closing time and they told me they were NOT able to get it fixed yet again.

I went in a few days later after they opened back up and they told me that this was a 3 hour job and that they would NOT provide me with transportation unless it was over 4 hours. This is being done because gm CAN'T SEEM TO GET THINGS RIGHT AT THE FACTORY.

I traded in my 2021 Silverado got a 2023 High Country Silverado. When the posted limit went out on my heads up display, the dealer advised I have to subscribe to OnStar to get the posted speed limit. I have owned three Camaros, two corvettes, a Silverado and all had the posted limit displayed without additional subscription cost.

I should not have to pay for OnStar to get the speed limit displayed on my heads up/dash. Is GM hurting that bad, or is it going in a direction of squeezing every penny from its customers? I recently drove a new $24,000 Kia and it had the posted limit on the dash at o additional subscriptions.
