I have been getting the same prescription from Giants for the past 5 years. Over the past year, I have had problems with the particular pharmacist by the name of Megan. She has refused to refill my prescription based off of my insurance denial.

My prescription is Ambien 20 mg at night. My doctor follows my prescription and I am a therapist that works in mental health. I have been getting my prescription with no issues using the discount card, even after speaking with my doctor she is the only one that has given me a problem. It's very anxiety provocting.

She has told me that I have to go to another pharmacy siting policy, however, the policy hasn't changed and when other pharmacist are working there are no issues. I think that it is racial. I have had this experience with her several…

This involves the pharmacy at the Giant Food Store at 2350 Susquehanna Rd, Abington, PA 19001-4211. The service in person is fine.

However, recently I have been unable to contact the pharmacy by phone. I have made multiple efforts over a couple of weeks to talk to someone and not once has anyone answered the phone. I was calling to order refills.

The automatic ordering feature only works if you have the prescription number. I have been having to reorder medications that involve drops and tubes of cream. Both have the number on the box, which I have thrown out. So I have no choice but to talk to someone.

A week ago I finally went in to order the refill in person. The person shrugged off my comment that the phone wasn't been answered. I asked if I could fax in the refill, and he said they…

I don't understand why you allow dogs , not only in your stores, but also in your grocery carts. I am tired of seeing people's pets around food that I want to buy. Everyone I have spoken to is of the same mind, even dog owners.

I walked in the door at 835pm and manager by the name Sam said mam we're closing. I replied yes at 9 but I'm grabbing cigarettes and that's all. He screamed at me saying,"you gotta go". I turned around and asked if he was serious and once again he screamed out,"you gotta go right now.

Pharmacy manager would not honor Good Rx pricing and overcharged me for meds claiming that she looses money at the good Rx pricing. When asked why do you participate she shrugged off and told me this was the best price I could do which was double the Goodrx price.

My name is Linda Berry. I have been a Giant Food customer since my mom started sending me to grocery shop for our family once I got my driver's license at age 16. I am now 70 years old. I shop at the Wellington Road Giant in Manassas, Virginia.

The last 2 visits to the deli department I have noticed a young lady working in the deli named Monica (per her name badge). Monica has long dark hair. She wears a baseball style cap with her hair pulled to the back and through the opening in the back of the cap. She also wears a mask over her mouth and nose. The manager of your westwood shopping center Giant in Bethesda, Kenny Carter, is the rudest grocery store manager I have ever encountered. I was totally ignored for a very very long time at the self checkout and I was on a tight schedule.

THe error message said help is oon on its way. But nobody ever came. " He kept on riding me and riding me even after he admitted I was calm. I just asked him why was he treating me this way?

I have been using Giant Direct for maybe a year. Pretty normal pickups. Workers always looking pissed off, no hello, no smiles. I know you are not supposed to tip but I always did anyway realizing it’s a pretty sucky job.

The last 3 pickups were horrible. I’ve had the worker literally get in my face and tell me she’s sick of impatient people that they are going as fast as they can. All I did was ask how long of a wait because I was waiting for my groceries for 45 min.

The next time I went I got reprimanded because I ran into the store first to pickup a prescription. The 3rd time the woman was throwing groceries in my car. Done. Finished. Had enough. Now I’m sure this complaint means nothing to you at Giant.

As a long time customer, there is a noticeable change in most of the cashiers. I don’t mind bagging my own groceries to help speed things up, but when the cashier has finished and is waiting for payment, they’re standing watching me bag which is actually their job and not lifting a finger to help.

Sometimes I use the riding cart and they don’t even come around to help put bags in the cart for me. Untrained unsupervised lazy stupid or just expect the customer to do it for them??? The attitude toward the customer stinks just so you know.

I think I’ll just let them do it all next time. Pay attention to your employees GIANT Your not the only store in town

I have tried for a month or two for someone to explain the digital coupons to me. No one at the Emmaus Ave store inAllentown seems to have the time. When I do talk with someone, they talk so fast I have no god damn I idea what they are saying I have found that your customer service sucks.

I am going to contact the BBB to complain about you. There are too many quality grocery stores in the area to put up with your lack of response to complains.

On June 23, 2023 the Giant Direct delivery driver by the name Alfonso backed into and damaged the rain gutter of our carport with his truck (photo of the damaged rain gutter is attached). I saw him hitting the rain gutter while he was trying to turn the truck around in an area too small for a truck that size.

He was not apologetic and I had to ask him for a phone number to report the incident. I immediately called the number and was told that Giant's insurance company would contact me within a few days. I still have not been contacted by the insurance company as of June 29, 2023.

I refuse to pay for this damage out of my own pocket for something which I was not responsible for. I have been shopping at Giant for many years but if this does not get resolved I'm going to shop somewhere else.…

Wanted to speak with a manager concerning the deli operation. All the employees were working on orders from the kiosk and online, not personal orders from customers in front of case. When speaking with Gay she called upstairs and quietly said “I was there to bitch”!

On Friday June 23 the Giant delivery driver backed into our carport and damaged the rain gutter (photo included). He was not apologetic and I had to ask him for a phone number to file a claim. When I called the number immediately after he left I was told that their insurance company would contact me to file a claim. As to date no one has called me. I called the previous number again and got the same response. I'm reaching out to you to get some resolution on this incident. I'm not paying for this damage out of my own pocket. If it comes down to that, I'll never shop at Giant again and I'll make sure to make it a topic of conversation on Facebook.

Just left your store at North Point Village Center, Reston, Virginia. I always use the self checkout and have never had a problem until today. The problem was the speed at which the computer prompts the customer through the different steps of checkout was way too fast. Also, the sensor for putting items in bag was not working. I had to call over the self check assistant several times, but she didn’t know what to do. Self check is a good idea, but the computers need to function properly.

I reported this to their customer service desk and was told it was because of theft. They said I needed to contact Giant Corporate. They need to correct this and address the theft issue another way. I have now experience poor service from the manager herself in the deli department. She was rude and very dismissive, totally ignoring me, insisting I take a number, when I was the ONLY customer at the counter. She slapped my order on the counter and stomped away.

On my 2nd visit, I was unfortunate enough to get her again! This time, after I pulled my number, and was again, the only customer, she and 4 other young people, were standing, facing me, but not looking up, all wrapping meat.

No one would stop and wait on me. I finally, had to say “excuse me, can I get service”. They all looked at each other, and finally one young person came over. The manager, just looked away. there was no one but me. Shame on that manager!!!

To whom it may concern, I recently took my 90yr old father to giant to do some shopping for the first time since he just moved here in PA. So I signed him up for rewards card and asked the very nice woman helping us if there was a kiosk where he can load digital coupons and she said sorry no .

So if you don't have internet or email , you won't be able to use the digital coupons? Well that does not seem fair . He used to shop at ShopRite and they had a kiosk by the service desk .

You would scan your card or enter phone # and pick the coupons you wanted to load to your reward card. I don't know what the reason is that you must load /cut coupons ? Just give the sale price automatically to whom ever has a loyalty card .

My online order was scheduled for pickup on 6/10/23 between 10-11 am. I reached the store at 10:45 am and called to give my space number only to be told that unfortunately due to call outs and other circumstances my order is not ready and to come back in 60 minutes.

My day is planned and this is going to throw everything off. I understand that people called out but this is unacceptable and Giant employees need to have the agility skill to be able to operate and function when there is a shortage of staff.

On Sunday, June 4, 2023 I went to Giant Foods located in Largo, Maryland and had the worst customer service experience EVER!!! An employee at register 14 was my cashier. I loaded all of my groceries from my cart onto the conveyor belt except a watermelon that I didn't want to lift if I didn't have and proceeded to the area where you put in your phone number as a Giant Food Club member.

I received a text my prescription was ready for pickup on the 24th. On the 25th I went to pick it up. They said I didn't have one. 30 minutes later when I was home they texted me it was ready. I bought a salad from the salad bar today and I was kind of perplexed as to why there was a sectioned container for all foods at the bar. It is hard to mix and eat a salad from this type of container.

About 15 years ago, I contacted someone at corporate headquarters and asked for more healthy foods in the prepared foods department. I don't see why all the prepared foods with carbohydrates have to be with white rice, white potatoes and white pasta when there are so many healthier and at least as delicious alternatives including barley, lentils, beans, farro, quinoa, and more. Even brown or wild rice or bulghar wheat is healthier. I tried to get the information to your nutritionist who I had seen in your marketing but I'm not sure it went anywhere.

To Ira Kress regarding Cathedral Commons new policy for self check out. I am extremely disappointed with your new 20 item limit in self check out that you put in place recently due to theft. This new policy is punitive for most and I am not convinced that it will impact the shop lifters.

Store #0196. Have filed this complaint before and service has not improved. They consistently fail to supply antibacterial cleaning supplies as you enter the store to clean your cart and hands. We are still in a pandemic environment in the store and these supplies are essential for our safety.

In addition, if I don't have a wipe or supplies I cannot open with dry fingers the plastic produce bags to shop the fresh produce section. This makes shopping very difficult. Can you help change this?

I went to pick up my free ham this afternoon and there was a big free ham sign over the giant brand non spiral hams as well as over another section where the spiral hams st the Mechanicsburg Giant at the route 114 store so I assumed they were part of the free hams.

When I got to the check out counter I was rudely informed the ham I had was not free nor could I use the Dollar off on that ham. She then got the register oversight peron to confirm what she said and repeated the Dollar off brands several times.

I have been a loyal Giant customer for more than 20 years, but that treatment was uncalled for and bad customer service. I will think very hard before I return to Giant. I will be telling my friends about the rude unprofessional treatment I received today.

I have shopped a giant for years and tonight my wheels were locked as I exited the store. I was approached by a very rude giant employee who asked for my receipt, and when I showed it to her, she just unlocked my wheels and let me go.

I was embarrassed the people behind me were rude, and there was no substantial reason for why my rules were locked nor was there an apology.

Giant, Goshen store, Gaithersburg. Long time customer 30+ years and love the store. Since pandemic available hand sanitizer the availability is sporadic at best. For the past two weeks and I shop 3x/week there is no liquid sanitizer or paper sanitizer wipes available upon entering the store.

This makes using plastic bags for fresh produce difficult to open for use and the safety factor of touching products and carts unsafe. Please if there is still a policy to provide sanitation upon entering the store I'd appreciate it.

00 off on my groceries but I was told I need a app. to do so. I and my wife are elderly and do not use apps and my wife doesn't have a cell phone. Why can't Giant have it set up to get this money off at the cash register like Redner's markets does?

I am a regular customer of the Giant Food Store at 6340 York Road, Baltimore, MD. Currently, this Giant is limiting the use of its self-service check-outs to patrons with 20 items or less in their baskets. This policy would make sense as long as sufficient human cashier positions are open.

Unfortunately, this store does not have many open cashiers and the policy of limiting the use of self-service check-outs results in long lines at the small number of open cashiers. This policy, therefore, encourages people (like me) to go to other grocery stores when I am purchasing a large order and only going to this Giant when I have only a few things to pick up.

Please either open more cashiers or expect me to go to Safeway where there are enough open cashiers for me to buy my groceries. Thank you.

I have been shopping at giant store Maple Avenue Vienna VA since I moved to Virginia over 20 years ago. Everyone in that store is extremely friendly and helpful with the exception of Rosa who works in the deli.

Each and every time I visit the deli counter she is more rude than the previous time. She sees me waiting to place my deli order and quickly get busy I end up standing there for more than 5 minutes before I get helped. As a Critical Care RN, I was thoroughly disappointed with the rude behavior displayed by Sara, a customer service rep at the West Lawn Giant. I had been recognized for excellent patient care and received a $20 voucher. Sara was apparently required to put the voucher info into your register system.

She made no eye contact, did not acknowledge that I thanked her and had a look of pure disgust that she had to help another employee and customer. This type of behavior was unwarranted and depicts a rather negative experience at Giant.

I know this behavior would certainly not be tolerated in the professional world.
