I'm contacting you with a problem I ran into this morning at the Giant Food , 1400 Merritt Blvd. Dundalk MD. It was around 0715 and I went to check out with a full large cart of grocery's . When I got to the check out , one lane was open and all others were closed.

The self check out was open and had a back up, the young lady Marie (employee) that was over there on the self check out ask me if I needed help with the large purchase I had. I said yes and she came over and checked me out.

Her Supervisor Tanya ,I believe is her name came over and was rude and nasty to the young lady Marie and told her I was to go to the self check out. Please, Marie and the folks that work in that store are great employees and do not deserve to be spoken to that way in front of customers.

Was in a giant store shopping in 3/1/2023 and the associates we’re fighting each other while the managers in duties did nothing this is the second time that I came to this store me the associates were having issues and the management did nothing this is very sad that a company like this has poor management and was asked who the manager is a a young lady in the beer section gave me a very nasty Attitude and

the hen said his name was Ryan she then started talking about who she is asking me I asked another associate what her name is and she said her name is Lily then walked away without putting my items in the bag after I bought things.

This is very poor service at this store on chestnut street they need better management there.

I would like to tell you that at the Leisure World shopping center Giant Miss Ross that works at the information desk she handles the cigarettes the flowers the complaints on the woman is remarkable she is somebody that is a major asset to that store she goes out of her way to help so many people I’ve had occasion to be waiting for somebody and standing there watching her the woman is remarkable you all should award her or give her some kind of recognition I cannot believe the disrespectI don’t know how that can be fixed anyway she should receive some kind of an acknowledgment as to how wonderful she is and

at the Huntingdon valley Pa. Store.. I have since it was a Genuardis I have always like the Store. But!! Why is the Huntingdon Valley PA. Store alway out of Products Some of which are never restocked.. this Store seems not taken care of Compared to other Giant locations..

I order from the Giant Store in Lancaster Pa (store # 6029) for my elderly parents. They have a delivery every two weeks and spend about 250-275 on each order. Today (2/23) they had a female deliver and for my mother to say she was so nasty is really upsetting because she never complains about anything.

My father is going blind and my mother can barely walk and she nastily complained about bringing the groceries inside for them. No one has ever done this to them and I do not tolerate lousy customer service let alone the total disrespect to my parents.

I want an apology to my parents over this or I will steer them towards Weis Supermarket. They have been using you for over 4 years now. I expect a reply asap or you will lose a great customer.

I am a long time customer of Giant Food stores. for any time they could have it ready. A man in the deli answered and said they need a 24 hr notice. I have place many orders of fried chicken over the years at another local giant and was never given such a response.

This giant is closer to my home, and very new. So i called the store i have previously used and was told they just shut the fryers off . At 5pm on a Saturday? Needless to say I was forced to use my local Weis store. 2 hrs.

Hey, I’ve been purchasing giant premade fried chicken for many years now and it’s one of my favorite staples for my family. The last two weeks that I have purchased it Several of the pieces were uncooked in the middle.

I was very disappointed when I recently walked into my local Giant store in Gilbertsville, PA and noticed the unnecessary use of single use plastic... everywhere. The attached picture shows individual muffins packaged in useless single use plastic. This is just one example of the amount of needless plastic used in this store.

With a growing climate crisis and plastic pollution on the rise, I would think that Giant would want to be a leader and innovator in the retail trade sector and not a follower. Helping to educate their shoppers and create awareness on such an important issue is something I thought Giant took seriously.

I have shopped at Elkridge Giant since the store opened. I called a complaint in couple months ago about a worker who was not at her post when there was a line in self check out. Now I’m thinking this is why the certain worker is making me feel very uneasy when I shop there since she is mostly at self checkout I avoid this line and go to a cashier.

The last time I went to self checkout she stood next to me as I scanned each item I was done and going to put 3 sodas back and she said you forgot to scan them I said oh no I’m putting them back and she herself took them out of my cart.

I’ve been shopping at Giant for decades and I have a bonus card. The new gimmick with needing to use coupons on the app to get a discount is discriminatory! Not everyone has an iPhone! Not everyone has a cell phone!!!

The standard of service at your store on N. 23rd Street in center city Philadelphia is slipping quite noticeably...the last few times my wife and I have shopped there the escalator to even get up to the 1st floor has not been running, yet showed no signs of being under repair. This past Saturday the escalator was not running when we arrived, yet was when we left. Looks like someone simply failed to turn it on. There's also often a lack of shopping carts ready at the top of the escalator, and the carts do not look like they are being regularly sanitized. COVID is still here you know!

I saw an elderly lady shopper bring a corgi dog (no ADA service markers) into the store Sunday, January 29 at 2:00 pm. The young man that gathers carts complimented her on having a nice dog. I told customer service and the employee just looked blank, as though she is unaware of any policy one way or the other regarding dogs. I like dogs, but not near my groceries. And if you have more than one dog, they can be aggressive to each other. It is a liability issue for your store to allow dogs that are not marked as ADA Service animals into the store. There is no legal protection for having comfort/support animals in public spaces in Pennsylvania.

To start out I am going to comment on the positive side of things. The driver’s are always on time, polite and do a fantastic job.

On the other hand the customer service is terrible to say the least. Today I spoke to Janet. 00. She kept reading the same answer over and over. That they hold 10% of your order to be sure the account has the funds. 00.

She reread the same thing once again. She said it’s now up to the bank. The bank should have nothing to do with it. GIANT TOOK THE MONEY OUT. This is ridiculous. I asked for a manager and she said it would take 24-48 hours to call me back.

Janet was curt, unhelpful and acted like she enjoyed my displeasure. I know, Giant is a huge company and won't care if they lose ONE customer.

However, word of mouth means a lot. I will not do any further…

Shopped on 1/23/23. 99lb with rewards card. I asked for a person in the meat dept. 85% wasn't out The guy I spoke to came out about 3-4 minutes handing me a pack of ground meat stating "here is 80% it's the same price, then walked away.

Good morning, I am a longtime customer of Giant, but I had a very disappointing incident at one of your stores recently. While shopping, I found a type of cheese that was on sale because it was nearing the expiration date, so I took 8 pieces (4 for me and 4 for my mother).

After I paid for the first 4 pieces at self-scan, I ended up with some other purchases, so I paid for the other 4 pieces of cheese with the other items. The employee at self-scan (Ms. Anh Nguyen) stopped me from paying, saying that I had bought 4 previously and insisted that she call the manager.

I have shopped the Purcellville, Virginia Giant store since it’s opening. During the height of the pandemic, the shelves were bare of many items for long periods of time. I expected that this would happen as it did to just about every retailer.

This store has not been able to return to its previous status in all these months. It has continued to be poorly stocked with empty shelves quite frequently.

For example, the store did not stock heavy whipping cream during the holidays and only sporadically since then. Today, it was particularly bad. Some of the shelves were as bare as during the worst of the pandemic. It is very frustrating after shopping in that store to have to go to another to get everything that I need.

Giant Direct Home Delivery - A disaster! Driver refused to deliver order to the house. Driver left without delivering the order. A call to Customer Service where I was greeted with big time attitude. I demanded to speak with a manager, twice.

Hello, I am an customer that frequents the Giant store which is located on Dumfries road in Manassas VA. The evening on 12/23 I went to the store when I realized that I needed to buy gift cards for my hair dresser that I was going to see early on Saturday morning.

I also took that time to ask for cash back of $200 so that I could pay my hair dresser. I was on aisle 7 and the cashier who assisted me initially tried to get someone to help her so she can give me cash back.

After waiting for a while due to the person taking a long time assisting another customer the cashier turned to me and said that she has 10 tens would that be okay. I thought she meant she only had ten dollar bills so said yes.

I really like Giant Blueberry Bagels ... BUT ... i'm confused to why when they are sliced, that one side is thick and the other side is thin. I like to have 1/2 bagel at a time, and would like to have them sliced in the middle rather than how they are sliced now.

Spoiled food. I recently shopped at your Maple Glen store. Over the years the store has gained the reputation to be used as a last resort because it is so unreliable with their stock. Tonight reinforced the stores reputation for me, except this time there was pre packaged spoiled Cheese being sold to customers and I was one who made the mistake in buying it.

Shame on me for falling to my weakness and going in because It was so convenient for me. Now i am faced with what to, because the product cost was almost $10 but my time to return it is more valuable.

This Giant store in Bartonsville PA, does not deserve even one star. I was there on 12-19-2022 at about 10:40 am.

I was told by Tim the manager "that I have a problem with everyone who works there" He also told me "I am a racist" Because I refuse to deal with Deborah at customer service who is a woman of color. Deborah is very rude to me and anyone who is not of her color. I am a loyal Giant Shopper; but I am wondering if my loyalty is misplaced. I am tired of visiting different locations of Giant food stores to find the shelves empty. This doubles my shopping time as I now have to go to a different food store.

Last week I went to two different Giants. One in Newtown Square, PA and another in Broomall, PA. Today I went to the West Chester, PA store. None of these stores had cornstarch or Clausen refrigerated pickles. I used the ad to view the weekly ad and loaded several coupons to my card.

I've been a Giant customer at store #316 since 2015. Scott used to be the store manager. He is (was) the best store manager I've ever met for any retail store. Whenever the price charged exceeded the price on the shelf or on the package, he would give me the first unit of the mispriced item for free.

If there were multiple products that were mispriced, he would give me one free unit of each product. I used to thank him and he would reply that Maryland's Get One Free Law requires retailers to give one unit of each mispriced product free to the customers who bring the price discrepancy to the store's attention as a reward and

This is not a compliant but a compliment for an employee at the Giant Food Store (#783) located in Burke. VA. I was walking toward the store entrance when I witnessed Christian, a Giant employee, on two separate occasions scanning the parking lot.

He saw 2 customers finishing placing their groceries in their cars and he walked over and retrieved their shopping carts so that the customers did not have to return them to the cart stall. His normal duties are to return the shopping carts from the stalls to the store's entrance.

I thought that his actions were beyond his normal scope of duties and thought he should be recognized for his efforts. It reflected on his personal character and his appreciation for his customers.

To whom it may concern: I ordered groceries online and was advised they would be ready for pick up between 6:00-7:00 yesterday, Nov 20. I was asked to wait a few minutes at 6:15 as they were looking for my order.

Other cars pulled up and left and the kind representative came out and said she was going to get the store manager. Now it has been an hour sitting in the dark parking lot on the side of the building and I felt unsafe and uncared for.

Purchased stew meat that looked really good in the store. Once I opened the package everything underneath was dark brown. Even the very few good pieces were dark brown in the middle. If things weren't so expensive I would have thrown the package in the trash but I can't afford to do that.

Hello and thank you for hearing me out. I am a regular weekly Giant customer here in Mechanicsburg PA on Cumberland Parkway. I have a complaint I would like to air. When ever I stop at your gas pumps to fuel my car after driving around in noisy and some time not so friendly social conditions due to rude drivers etc.

I would like to fill my tank in peace without having your pumps audio video device screaming at me trying to milk me for one more dollar while I am held captive during our business transaction for fuel. When I go inside I already have to transvers the entire store just to purchase milk butter etc.

I wanted to purchase a $100 GIANT gift card today - looked for them where they usually are, ends of cash registers and wall of gift cards- and could find none. Asked for assistance and was told, “There’s a whole wall of gift cards and they’re right there.

I've started this correspondence 1/2 dozen times now... And have stopped because, well what's the point customer service is nonexistent today... But I've finally been pushed to the point that after being a customer my entire adult life I am no longer shopping in your store.

This is not a complaint-- I wanted to tell the management at the Mt. Vernon Giant on Richmond Hwy. I made a mistake by going into the self-check lane with too much food. Not only that but I have had physical problems with my back for several years.

My stubborn personality said I can do this by myself!

To go online and use their pharmacy page the information is blank. Whereas i use Microsoft Edge it's all visible??????? Thx

I have been trying to complete an online order for pick up at the store for two days. I spoke to Customer Service at the store this afternoon and was told it is a problem with Giant’s online system. They couldn’t tell me when it would be corrected.

I now have to decide if I wait another day to see if this is fixed or go to the store and do my shopping in person. That defeats the purpose of having the convenience of being able to pick up the order and drive home.

I need to know when this will be fixed. Thank you.
