hope this message finds you well. I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the service I have received from GoDaddy and to seek resolution for ongoing issues that have significantly impacted my business.

Despite providing proof of my identity, including my NYC driver's license and United States passport, I have been unable to gain access to update my website. I requested a call to confirm receipt of my emailed identification photos, but I did not receive a callback. As a victim of identity theft earlier this year, I find this lack of communication particularly troubling.

I bought a domain & email with Godaddy & after 24hrs it stopped working on my laptop & only works on my phone. Despite numerous calls & online chats, 5 days later it is still not working. I have been advised it is due to an outage & being worked on, but the time is excessive & causing me huge issues with my business.

When trying to escalate through technical advisors, I am just asked to call back up again & go through the same motions.

com was taken out by GoDaddy support and they are not able to restore. This has been going on for 9 days. I keep getting canned response and no restoration. I use this as a business email and all my marketing is pointed there.

I cancelled Godaddy services in February an requested a refund of the money that was due to me. I was told that a check will be issue in the following 7 to 10 business days since the credit card that you have on records were no longer active, and I understood the timing.

After waiting almost a month and not receiving the check, I called back and to my surprise I was told that the money was in my Godaddy account as a credit to be used for new services. I was upset because the reason for the check was the cancelation of my account. Then I got the same excuse and I was told that someone will call me within 24-48 hours to get my banks info so I can get a transfer to my account. It never happens.

I've had email hosting with them for years. When I upgraded my phone one email account did not transfer over. I've done all I can to access that account on my phone without luck, so I tried technical support.

I sat on hold for an hour and the rep couldn't hear me so he hung up.I'm back on hold for another 30 min. without a response.

GoDaddy recently moved my company's email addresses to a different server. I had purchased Office Exchange 365 from them, but finally dumped it just recently due to OUTLOOK not operating, crashing, forcing me to click a temporary mail BS.

I have been in contact with them 4 times this week and have about 10 hours of time invested with them attempting to correct a problem.

No, today, after hearing that all was fixed. I just purchased two M/S Office 365 bundles to circumvent my business's OUTLOOK crashing. Our company relies on the Internet for its business.

Today I pho0ned in again for support and did the call -me-back things with them. I have been on hold for 3 hours and now it simply a joke for me as I am curious if/when they'll ever answer me.

After migrating our website from legacy "Ultimate Managed Word Press Hosting" to the new "Ultimate Managed Word Press Hosting", we had issues.

First of all, 12/24/2022 our "Hard Coded" SSL expired. net to get the site up and running. On 12/28/2022 we realized that our SPF record in GoDaddy DNS was removed. After several hours on the phone talking to several different support reps, I was told that when domains are changed, GoDaddy's system will automatically change DNS records.

In this case it deleted the SPF record. The support rep I spoke to on 12/29/2022 was fantastic and helped restore the SPF record in just a few minutes. I received an email stating I needed to renew my domain name by 12/27/22. I called on 12/26/22 and the agent said there was an $80 redemption fee. Why? She later stated that she could charge me half price. Why???

I should only be charged the renewal fee. My website is not active and the only service I receive is email hosting.

I am submitting this again as I just realised I used my main email address to post it - which of course will fail the verification as my complaint is that Godaddy messed up my email and I cannot receive any.

The failing domain is email.sonicmail.eu (which usually diverts then to secureserver.net.)

instead sent email saying they did. I rang instantly only to be fobbed off by another colleague who said I had to start the whole process again. We were at finikastion of a build. Unhappy with that asked for a manager to contact me. Nobody did.

Called back again only to be told they would put me on hold for a minute. After 30 minutes of waiting I gave up. Called back again and told again it will get sorted and get a call back but again nobody bothered.

I tried chat and after explaining everything I was told he will take my feeebavk not a complaint . Rang again and asked several times to make a complaint but was refused every time. It has been a joke and the staff clearly enjoy deliberately upsetting customers.

Having moved to a new phone I was unable to log into my account on GoDaddy. As asked, when trying to recover my account, I sent in a photo of my driver's license. I was told it was not good enough and I needed to submit a photo of me holding my driver's license. I did that too. It is the same driver's license they have on file. I am the same person that has owned the account for over 10 or so years. They have not responded to any emails on status and the only communication I received was after holding for over 20 minutes with customer service: "It's processing."

I told them I have time sensitive purchases and changes to make but still complete and total radio silence. I am looking forward to closing all of my domains, email, and websites from GoDaddy and will never use their services…

I have been trying to get my website build completed for more than a month. au domain and build, hundreds of dollars. I have had at least 5 different people attempting to do something, but nothing gets completed. When someone does seem to be getting on with it, they disappear. I am fed up.

I cannot work because of this due to the launch of the business being delayed due to site not being ready. I will lodge a forma complaint wiht the ACCC if a resolution cannot be found. The site is a very simple one and should only have taken a few hours.

I could not log into mypeter@semenenko.com email account 21/7/22. I am profoundly deaf. I called 21:45 and Kyrsten disconnected without resolution. I called 21:47 and at 22:02 Aisha terminated the call without resolution.

My site starts off like it's some kind of legal help or something. I don't even know how that got IN there anyway! But I've tried since MARCH 25 to cancel my account thru the "contact us" link. Here is a picture of those many attempts.

Now, I want my money back since March 25th. I've had NO calls so there's that too. With that legal jargon at the top of my page, it even is confusing to me.

Staffing Smiles website has experienced periodic and repeated outages over the past few weeks without explanation. Go Daddy has been contacted on multiple occassions by the Staffing Smiles site administrator. The issue has not yet been resolved. I purchased a domain name from GoDaddy on Mar 25, 2021. I didn't receive a renewal notice in 2022 and in May 2022 I called GoDaddy and did my renewal by phone, apparently the email they had on file does not match my email.

I was told that she changed my email and I paid for the website and setup my website (which took quite some time). I tried to publish the website and it was not successful, I was connected to tech and apparently the accounts were not linked and a refund for the website was issued and then added to the correct account as the domain name.

I also had an email set up and that did work for a couple of days and then I no longer had access. This was more than two weeks of going back and forth and wasting days of my time and a lot of frustration.

I host different websites for my clients. One of them got flagged for trademark infringement. We received an email stating with had to remove the content but we didn’t really have any explanation. They didn’t answer my questions, they shut down my server with all the other websites.

We removed the content and they shut down the server again. I spoke, chatted, texted. Nobody at GoDaddy can reach the trademark department. All my websites are down. Be aware if you have multiple websites, this could happen to you

My hosting was canceled and deleted without any warning. It was supposed to auto renew but it was deleted instead. I have never received any warning, notification nor anything else. Customer support told me that I have canceled it myself, but they don't have any proof of that.

Godaddy auto renewed my domain name at a whopping $19. They sent no email before the fact informing me that the renewal now costs $19. A few months earlier I renewed for $13. When I contacted them asking about the $19 charge, the Customer Service Rep insisted that they are free to auto renew at whatever price, and they didn't inform me before the fact because I had already given them permission to autorenew. Beaware.

Turn off autorenewal on all your Godaddy domain names. They are essentially claiming that they are at liberty to autorenew your domain names at whatever price point they want. And they don't have to tell you upfront. That's not fair at all.

So, I used to get a free email address with every domain name I registered with GoDaddy. That was nice. I didn't use them much - some not at all. This week I realized they turned them all into paid email accounts without notifying me.

And they added services I didn't want or need. I'll admit I found out late. We have a small family business and last year was crazy. We lost most of our staff and we all were working 20+ hours a day just trying to keep our store open and get our bills paid.

It didn't help that they made the charge the same name as the accounts that were for our business. I was aware we were paying that $300 + for email addresses for our company. So when they charged me $329 for my "free" email accounts I missed it.

They started charging me for services I didn't order. They called it something very similar to a service I was paying for so it would be purposefully confusing. I looked up the charge and there was a free option (that I though I had). When I called they changed the page I was reading so the "Free" option was now gone. Now that I've figured it out I'm getting a refund policy quote that basically said that I needed to catch them screwing me within five days.

GoDaddy migrated our site to a new server. The image they migrated was over 6 months old so when we access our "new host" the site has lost the last 6 months worth of data. Days of working with support (when we can get ahold of them) has produced NOTHING. They claim not to have backups of our data!! We PAY for MONTHLY BACKUPS as an additional service above the hosting service cost.

We have lost SIX MONTHS worth of data!!! This is unacceptable and will be moving our business elsewhere

Hello, I have the following complaint: When I renewed my hosting for another year in October 2021 I was not told that in mid-contract GoDaddy will introduce an additional charge for using email. Email was simply included in the price I paid for hosting, as it has always been.

However, in December I received an email from GoDaddy simply informing me that Workspace was retired and replaced with Microsoft Outlook, for which I would have to pay a monthly fee. I do not want to pay this fee, as I do not like the fact that it is introduced by stealth in mid-contract rather than spelled out from the outset (I believe this is illegal in the UK, but I will double-check with the competent authorities).

For the past 3+ months the hosting services has been HORRIBLE and when you call it is well over an hour wait time. I was on hold for almost 2 hours to get a message telling me to leave a voice message.

Slow speed and every time I turn around the system is down, I get error messages that there is an issue with my website. Now my SSL certificate is deactivated, but I paid for it until mid summer of 2022.

The week before that I got an email about a security breach. Godaddy needs to refund ALL customers and shut down their business because they are the worst hosting provider of all times. I want a full refund so I can take my hosting business elsewhere - they have cost me to lose so much money already.

Websites are forever going down, sometimes for minutes, other times for much longer. "Security breaches" which mess everything up. Not able to access the Wordpress Dashboard. On and on and on and on. Making matters worse, ANY problem leads to turning to customer and/or tech support, which essentially does not exist. It takes upwards to an hour, on average, to get an actual person on the line. On rare occasions the tech can actually help, although 99% of the time it is some matter so "severe" that the only way to fix it is to pay $50 for the "professional service" which literally only does ONE issue at a time and can take days to fix. I have never seen such horrid tech support! The 24/7 chat is absolutely useless as those people know nothing, and it takes forever as well.

On Sept 8th I hired Go Daddy to create my real estate agent site for a team I was creating. I gave the representative, Rebekah Tribble, the website, login, and password to a site I wanted to copy the format exactly from. 99.

November 19, 2021 site is still not done. I had two website managers helping me and after 6 pages they told me the dropdown pages were all extra independent pages and they can't do them. Godaddy took 107€86 from my account without me knowing about it in 31/08/21. I didnt have access to my bank account and their emails were in my spams. I want a refund!! I called costumer services and they told me many people get charge while they dont use godaddy anymore.

The entire process to gain access to my domain was passed around teams for 3 months, I lost full access to my email and my website.

The support team (Karan Rawat, karan9282@godaddy.com, sakshi4238@godaddy.com and clwalker@godaddy.com) sent us around in circles time and again, lying every step of the way.

Do not choose GoDaddy for any web services, email or hosting you will get burnt the minute you need basic support.

I was looking for a website to help grow my business when I looked to GoDaddy for a resolution. I spoke to a sales representative named Clinton, then opted to have a website built that could be geared toward my profession.

Jessie with Godaddy website management decided that he wasn’t going to refund my money due to a policy I’m not aware of and stating that he had already sent out a proof. The proof was in no way customized and I wasn’t impressed by what was done.

It wasn’t even completed, in it’s first phase and it had only been a week as I was gathering other material for the website. Bottom line is that I would not be able to get the website I was promised and when I asked for a refund, I was denied by Jessie.

It has been 3 months now since I paid for a new website to be built by Godaddy and still nothing. I have spent endless hours through out the past 10 weeks explaining what needed to be done. It has gone through so many hands and we have just gone around in circles..

After 10 years with my own domain with Go Daddy Webmail, I was recently transferred to MS Office 365. This transfer was disaster and I have been in contact with several agents at Customer Service, including a Supervisor that confirmed I and been passed on to THE TEAM!. I was told that I would have a response in to 3 days - NO RESPONSE no May 31st.

My webmail account was transferred and bore little resemblance to my Webmail domain. My two main index folders were missing together with 14 files still; not found. I believe that my account was re-synched twice once by CS and then by The Team and both made it worse!

With no productive response I am considering a Class Action suit. Anyone else interested?

I have been with GoDaddy for nearly 17 years and for most of that time I have been very happy with the service. I have 43 domains registered with you and currently around 22 email addresses. For many years I had free email addresses with some of the domains that I purchased with GoDaddy and then a couple of years ago you remioved the free email addresses that were not being used and

then all free mail addresses, so I reluctantly purchased Workspace email packages which I found easy to configure, add, delete, change etc. Then I was forced to change to 365 mail even though I had stated on many occasions previously that I did not want to migrate to a Microsoft product.

I have a five year contract with Go Daddy - at significant expenses for us as a small charity. We have had email on workspace with them for 16 years, and 8 email accounts associated with our domain purchase.

However when trying to set up a new email account - they informed us that they no longer use workspace and for every new email would charge us 47pounds a year, totally out of reach for us. This was a significant change in terms for us - and was done without informing us.

How do we get clarity on the contract we have with them and how do we stop them changing the goalposts once we have paid for the domains ?

I spent 40 minutes on the phone on Feb 3 starting at 4:30 with 2 associates at Go Daddy. What an inept bunch of people who work there. What I was trying to do is to consolidate the auto-renew dates of my domains (except the orgs). I have done this many times before without an incident.
