The women's showers are in serious need of repair and cleaning their are missing tiles in showers mild and mildew everywhere in all showers their are 2 showers that don't turn off, and the shower heads spray water even outside the showers soaking your towels on the hook and your bag and all contents.
The hot tub floor and walls are brown with blue patches, and the water is extremely murkey, when you turn on the jets chlorine bubbles like soap 2ft tall, many of the machine pads need replaced because of rips and tears and holes. Most of the machines need maintenance on their screws and bolts because they are loose or worn.

Assistant Manager was picking up weIghts and pinch collars. I was using the preacher curl stand by lifting straight curl bar off stand to curl. Assistant Manager is was right beside stand when Assistant Manager intentionally placed two pinch collars right on the bottom base of stand where I was stepping up to get closer to lift off stand.
This was totally rude and not a safe nor appropriate area for pinch collars to be left in the way. This occurred at Round Rock , Texas near I-35.
Absolutely the worst gym around. There’s only 1 gym in the area that requires you to have parking passes, instead of letting visitors who dont normally go to that location know that you need a sticker pass on your car or will be towed, they just let 6 or 7 cars of clients in the gym get towed.
Someone needs to be letting clients know as they walk in that they need a pass in their car or it’s getting towed. Literally how is that fair we pay to use the gym and was not told we needed a pass it’s not like you need one for other locations so why would anyone know without being told otherwise.
I would love if someone from corporate would reach back out and help me resolve this situation before I have everyone I know at golds cancel their membership. Horrible horrible customer service.

I booked and paid in full for 36 personal training sessions at a cost of around $2400. I asked for sessions at 9am mon , wed , fri . The manager Arlene booked me at 11am with Brandon for the first session which I agreed to under the impression from Arlene that when I met Brandon I could book him for 9am moving forward , however when I met Brandon , he informed me he doesn't start work till 12pm so can't do 9am. At the 1973 Malvern ave location in fullerton ca the staff are always very friendly and professional. Despite this the lap pool water temperature has remained below its normal 86 degrees since monday morning. I doubt the pool man will be working this weekend. Every other day this week i am told "we are (of course) aware of it and am (of course) working on it." PLEASE GIVE HIGHER PRIORITY TO GETTING THE WATER TEMPERATURE BACK TO NORMAL. Tvs broken for several weeks. Pool is disgustingly dirty. Locker floor freshly mopped, very wet after senior water aerobics. Very dangerous. Elevator broken very often. Several showers inoperable for quite some time. This place is worse than the former 24 hour fitness.

I have been a Gold member since 2006, and occasionally bringing a guest has been the sole reason I maintained my higher tier membership.
However, I recently received information that I can no longer bring a guest, which was the primary benefit I valued. The manager informed me that my membership still includes additional features like tanning, but as a person with a brown complexion, that particular benefit holds little relevance for me.

April 02 2023 I went to Gold's gym downtown Los Angeles. Around 1:30pm I went into the men’s Sauna. I sat on a rusty nail that was sticking about an inch or two from the seat. Reference to Gold Gym in Live Oak Tx. I had submitted a complaint about no clock in the main part of Gym. A clock was installed within a week. The problem is three weeks later the clock does not work.
To put up a none working clock after not having one for over a year is sad, for a respectful company.

In February 2022 I informed the manager about a missing clock in the workout area. There were two other clocks, one upon entry and approximately 13 feet away another neither being in the workout area. The manager informed me it would be replaced.
Approximately six month I inquired about the clock to be told it was in. Approximately months later I inquired again. At the end of March 2023. I advised the manager I would filed a complaint if the clock was not up I n three weeks.

The music played at the gym is horrible! It is racist and offensive. Furthermore, I have a marketing degree and this music is so far "OFF THE MARK" when it comes to matching the membership. I'm looking at other fitness centers because I can't stand being bombarded with this racist music. Where is the inclusiveness? There's no variety of music played!
I'm not alone in my opinion. Talk among the members in the locker-room is in lock step.....the music sucks! Please change the music to be inclusive or else run the risk of losing members.

I was in the women's locker room getting ready to undress and shower. The door opened and a man's voice gave a 20 second warning he was entering. The women scrambled to get out of there but I was getting my things.

This is specifically for the location in Cedar Park Texas known as the Cedar Park location on the app. I have been a member since 2010 and signed up at this location and have never seen this location so poorly run until the past few years.
I workout at this location along with another one 6 days a week and they are complete opposites with cleanliness, customer service, working equipment, and management. Many of my friends who are members of other fitness gyms have been complaining of the same issue I have been experiencing as a new Gold's member. It seems, prospective members never hear any corporate policy regarding just how long a member may "stay" on a specific machine. Often, I'll ask other people if I could "work in" with them if they are just sitting on a machine outside of finishing a set. Invariably I'll hear variants of the following: '...I've got 2 more sets...or, come back in 5 minutes....or, my partner and I are using this machine for the next 30 minutes..." I've always comported myself by finishing my single set and immediately relinquishing the machine- even if I'll need to do a dozen more sets that day on it, and even if I'm the only one in the gym. I have been trying to update my billing information for 2 month. My membership monthly price changed so I asked the general manager about the price change. The general manager Nick told me that he had no idea. I asked him to please figure out why my membership’s price changed before I update my billing information.

Hello, I am a Gold's Gym member in Pflugerville, TX 78660. I have been attending classes at the gym regularly. Recently our wonderful Zumba instructor left us and that has been devastating for MANY of us. Our Wednesday night Zumba class was something we all looked forward to but due to terrible policies by Gold's he left.
We would like for him to be reinstated with the pay and respect he is due. His name is Eddie Curiel. Please please bring him back, they have replaced zumba with tone but that class is not very full and we no longer have zumba at the Pflugerville Gold's.

I have been a member at the Golds Gym In Thousand Oaks for the past 6 years and recently everytime I go there the volume of the music is so loud that it makes for a very stressful workout. Not only is the music loud, but there is no variety of the selection of the music. The other day I overheard a group of older gentleman complaining that the music is to loud and that they have complained countless times and nothing has been done about it. They said one of the only reasons they don't cancel their membership was that the price is affordable, or else they would have canceled. I have been coming to this gym for a while. I have a service animal. A young manager type gentleman. Wanted to know what my dog did for me. I told him he wasn't allowed to ask me that. He decided to explain to me that he was I tried to explain to him that I had seizures and she helped me with that.
But I should not have even had to say that. Then he threatened to revoke my membership. And call the police on me and threaten me with trespassing. I called the police myself. I left I'm sitting out front right now so I would not cause a spectacle.

Left my shit in my locker room as always to go for a 10 minute sauna session and I never leave it locked cuz it’s just a quick sess but some dickhead stole my beat headphones, AirPod case, MY TANKTOP AND GLOVES!! Makes no fucking sense. I’m heated.

Finally, Joshua, who was the last training manager I talked to, promised me I'd get those sessions and I called again to inquire about the remaining sessions and learned that the Coach is on a military deployment and I need to wait. I requested the manager to process the refund on PT sessions for the month of April because I am moving out of the State and I had turned in my cancelation notice as well which has been approved.

Treated rudely by staff at Golds gym on Randleman Rosd Greensboro NC
Hi, I filed a complaint for one of gold’s gym branches in Egypt (golden heights) over 3 weeks ago and was promised that the problem will be resolved. The issue is still opened and no one contacted me. The complaint is related to leaving my son ( a minor below 16) unattended during the training sessions although the engagement was to assign a PT during his subscription period.
This was not the first incident and I raised the concern before to golds gym management. I stooped his training due to the risk associated with leaving him alone and i asked the management for a refund of the remaining sessions.
I appreciate if this issue is taken seriously as it really affects golds gym reputation.

As a golds member before attending UTHSCSA and prior to the app, anytime I forgot my badge or keychain with my member barcode, I used to provide an employee with my phone number to enter the facility. Today I walked into your facility near campus (Medical Center, SA, TX) and informed Elsa Villanueva that I needed a badge/keychain with the barcode because I lost my previous one. Ms.
Villanueva told me that I needed to provide a form of ID. I was caught off guard and turned away to go grab one from my vehicle. When I returned I, of course, wanted to question this because Gold's gym has a photo of me and that's normally how I assumed I was able to enter all previous times.
