When I filled out an online application form for a professional organization my email address of course was required. The box auto filled my gmail address which I deleted and instead entered my company address. Once the form was completed it stated a confirmation email was sent to complete the registration.

I repeatedly checked my business address but no email. Then when I looked at the unread emails on my I phone the confirmation email was sent to my gmail account! Google has no business manipulating my information in this way.

My Google Home Mini stopped working it took me quite a few days to convince Google it was the unit and not my internet connection. They agreed to replace the unit under warranty and sent me a shipping label to send my unit back to them, which I did.

I did not hear one more word from Google for six weeks, until I called them. They said they would not proceed further on my warranty request unless I authenticated a Google pay account by adding my credit card. since feb 13th 2018 I have reported spam, hack ,fraud to google and gmail in the process I have broken two mobile phones and my tablet is now frozen I assume by the hacker, I have conducted two hard resets as instructed obiously it failed. After at least 10 years with Google as my default search engine on PCs and Macs both at home and work, I am re-setting all browsers to another search engine, definitely not Chrome and all related system folders and files will be deleted. My work telephone number (913-722-5070) gets at leaset 3 or 4 robo calls a day from Companies that want to sell me Google Ad time! A Few time I would hit the button that connected me to a "salesperson" and asked them to take my number off because it interrupts our work. They often tell me they will put our number on their do not call list but they say it will not stop the calls because Google has over 200 companies selling their ads.
