Your customer service is the WORST EVER! Not a single customer service representative can be understood because (no disrespect) they all speak broken English. A block was placed on my account in error and after 8 hours I still do not have the issue resolved.
I simply called the customer service line to ask a question and my account was immediately locked. I spoke to countless representatives, repeated the same story over and over. I was told the hold would be lifted in 2 days, then I was told that a new card had to be issued.
I got a different story with each person I talked to. I was lied to, made to jump through hoops all for nothing. Tis is the WORST company EVER. As soon as I get a resolution I will take all of my money out NEVER to use this bank card again!!

Green Dot received 2 of my refund checks and want release them to me, they said they don't have them but the IRS investigated and gave me the account number and said to call Green Dot for my money and Green Dot want acknowledge it claiming they don't know what iam talking about.

My Walmart account has had the money deducted from my account. The first transfer was on 16 June 2023 (verification code: V1V0N-FW84B) and the second transfer was on 20 June 2023 (verification code: V1Y8K-9RGJY). I called the Walmart Money Card customer service department this morning and they claimed that both transfers were completed successfully.
I then called Chime customer service and they claimed that neither transfer was showing in their system.
I found some property that was turned in by Green. That belong to me to the state controllers office this would have been back in 2017 when I had that card.
I tried to get ahold of GreenDot to get my refund directly but because I don't know the card number no matter what number I call the recoding of the agent that allows you to pick the peoplevyou meed to talk to keeps hanging up on me and told me to call back even though you're allowed to also use your social.
Because I should be able to get the refund from them instead of going through the state but I can't if I can't talk to anyone. Is really upsetting they should have a number that you can call and talk to their customer service without having a credit card because sometimes people lose those things and I shouldn't spin in circles…
I bought a greendot card some 13 mo ths back. I threw it in a drawer and forgot all about it until the day before yesterday when I came across it and since I had never EVER used the card, and could not find the greendot card that I've been using without a problem for years.

She told me only their hotel deals with customers money not the hotel bank. Once the hotel authorized release of funds, the hotel and the hotel bank doesn't has anything else to do with the funds.

I use this bank through Quickbooks for my business as my clearing and purchasing account. I have a vendor I use frequently, however, EVERYTIME I try to make a purchase it is flagged as "unusual" activity. These purchases are time sensitive, this time I have been waiting OVER 24 hrs to make this purchase and Green Dot Bank keeps telling me all they can do is make a "ticket" for a review and to try again in 1 hr.
I have done this over and over again for a full day with absolutely ZERO help form customer service besides try again in one hour. At this point, I still haven't been able to make the purchase and NOW OF COURSE they no longer have the quantity I need that MY customer has already paid me for.

Green Dot doesn't even deserve 1 star. SCAM BUSINESS!! I first bought a Green Dot prepaid card so I could have a way to deposit cash. After I purchased the card and loaded it with money, I attempted to activate/ register my card.
I sent in my driver's license to be verified. A day or two later I receive a message saying my documents couldn't be verified and my card has been closed.
Also that I will be unable to purchase more cards in the future. I contacted a representative about this and they said a check would be sent to me within 14 days. I confirmed my address and everything. Two weeks later and I still haven't gotten my money back.

Don't ever get any type of card from this company. I have a walmart card under them and they just allowed someone to steal a lot of money off my card and refuse to reimbursement me my money. Their fake investigation team claimed I authorized the purchase how can I when my card was on me at the of the purchases and withdrawals.
