I cant get any help in activating my greendot card, i maybe the victim of theft, because when i try to activate my greendot card, they find it, i'm thinking the cashier at family dollar didnt load my card, can someone help me with this matter, my phone number: 318-990-3986

27 on Feb 23. I haven't received it. I have called numerous times and get hung up on. When I finally did talk to someone she claims that there's no record of the trace number that the dept of Treasury gave me.

I set it up for diesct deposit not a check. I would like my refund.

I called to get a new card replaced because my wouldn't slide a more and I had to send picture I.D, so I did,a d my paycheck has loaded onto this old card, well they didnt approve and stopped my account. So...I cant get a card or MY paycheck!! IM EXTREMELY MAD

I bought a Green dot bank debit card, activated it and was told that my address could not be verified. When I called the customer service line I was told that it was not verified because I had either moved recently or changed my name.

I have not changed my name since marrying in 1990 and have lived at the same residence for 20 years. Because of the nonsensical restrictions on the card Green dot will not send me a permanent card and I can use it on only a few online websites, none of which I am interested in. I cannot get cash.

I cannot use on the websites I want to use it on. No wonder Green dot has a terrible reputation.

I filed my taxes in 2020 with TurboTax using the Green Dot return as the option for payment and I still to this day have not received my Green Dot tax return if they never sent me a card I've called the IRS numerous times I've been talking to them since 20/20 about getting my tax return this I have to contact Green Dot it's impossible to contact Green Dot they don't accept my social security number they don't accept my date of birth they tell me that I have to hang up and

I have been purchasing green dot card for over two years now and never had this problem. I was told that an error occurred and that I could only use this card for in store purchases only. I get these cards to pay my rent and now I face eviction.

I got them to finely refund my money but they put it back into my frozen account that they are clearly still taking there monthly fee 7.95$ out of my frozen account. How's is this possible if the account is frozen. I want my money.

However when I received the greendot cashier's check it was declined. When I called thejr customer service they said it was the establishments fault. AKA Walmart and Hannaford. Then they said it wasnt declined on there end then they said it was because my account was closed.

Finally aftert two days and ONE WHOLE YEAR OF THE RUN AROUND the corporate office said that greendot bank customers were all experiencing this same problem. I have a really hard time believing that every greendot customer can't cash their checks.

I bought three Green Dot cards before Christmas and put a total of $1,300 on the three of them. I could never use them they didn't work and when I called customer service every time they started over from the beginning and it's been 6 weeks and they still haven't given me back my money.

They sent me a email today saying that they're not liable for it that there's not any money on there and I'm just out $1,300. There was money on those cards when I first contacted them and now it's gone then someone there took it.

I couldn't get the money off and they know that. There a rip off and I knew in the beginning they didn't want to give that money back. I would never use them again and wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

For starters, I'm not a customer of Greendot and have never been. My mother was for years. She passed away in Aug 2021. I thought her affairs were complete. It took me until November, 2022 to realize there were still funds on her account.

Instead of just "taking them" I went through the process of claiming them the legal way through your company. I was told to send all the documents, driver's license, copy of her death cert, signed letter from me, along with the notarized small claims affidavit as she did not have a will and I am her only daughter.

I contacted Green Dot support in December of 2021 to shut down all my accounts except the one I was using at that time. I was incarcerated and my Green Dot card was used without my knowledge so I called to report the fraud on my account and told them the replacement card could not go to the address on my account because I no longer lived there.

They sent a card anyway and that was stolen also. When I reported it again, they denied my claim and locked my account. I have talked to multiple support staff and none of them resolved my issue. My mother had a Green Dot card for years and passed away in Aug of 2021. I did not realize until November of 2022 that she still had funds left on her card and in Green Dot bank. I then made a claim as her only heir without a will for the funds. I was asked to send in my drivers license number, phone number, copy of her death certificate, a notarized small claims affidavit, and a signed letter stating there wasn’t a will. They charge you for more stuff and getting over they say 24 hrs but they just take your money less the 12 hrs.

I filed a dispute on 2 fraudulent charges. These occurred a couple of hours apart at the same vendor. Green Dot cleared one but then said they felt that the other one was actually me. Very insulting. No way to feel good when you are called a liar.

I had the account for approx 7 years with no problems. Its very disappointing to have to leave them, and search for an alternative. But I dont feel that I can stay with a company who plainly doesnt value me.

On December 12/23/2022 My Father purchased three GreenDot Pre-paid Debit Cards in error.

Card 1 - $100 Card 2 - $50 Card 3 - $30

The cards were purchased as gifts and were believed to be gift cards. I was gifted two of the three cards ($100 & $50 cards). I quickly realized that the cards I received were not gift cards but were actually pre-paid debit cards that require opening an account. I have no intention on opening a pre-paid debit card account with GreenDot. On the packaging, the cards say that funds are refundable if the card is not activated.

For years I had a green dor card On Christmas day someone was able to change my email and phone number. I got an email stating that if i didn't change it to call. I called right away and had a hard time with them not believing me.

I've been trying to get in touch with a representatives regarding my 2021 refund. Unfortunately, I did not receive my refund due to an incorrect bank account number. The IRS has not received the returned funds and I'd like to request a transmittal form that shows it was sent to the irs. 315-921-6979.

I was at 2535 north Ashley St apt 410 Valdosta ga 31602 when I first reported my cards stolen with all my identity. I have since been incarcerated for a yr and called in April 2021 to close the account.

They agreed but never did and I just found this out Dec 2022 when I got home. They are still processing direct deposits into the closed account and said they would return nov. 2022 and Dec 2022 to the SSA on Jan 3 2023.
